I choose flights based on their amenities and this one had offered full WIFI service which swayed me to choose to fly with Delta. I'm not sure who is to blame about this issue but I'm pretty frustrated that it was completely dysfunctional."

I understand the flight is under 3 hours so certain foods aren't available but Delta you upgraded everything else. Were the aircrafts not designed to accommodate a full flight's worth of luggage? anf then when I went to go to my seat, the air stewardess told me to progress down the aisle so someone that they knew could pass through, causing a delay in me getting to my seat as well as losing my overhead luggage space as someone else passing utilized it instead. Now I am in my seat with both my carry on and personal item stowed below. So was I comfortable ? No. Was I upset and annoyed, on top of being tired? Yes. They need a better system."

Cons: "The flight attendant was unfriendly at boarding. He did not say or play any pre-flight safety announcements. We were told the flight might have to refuel in Richmond due to major weather delays in LGA. When we were landing they said they expected a refuel and a quick turnaround in Richmond. On the plane after landing, I learned via my phone's internet the flight was cancelled. They never announced it on the plane. At the final moment before we disembarked, the crew told us to be sure to take our belongings. When we landed, Flightaware showed delays of 45 minutes at LGA. AA never took responsibility for the problem though the gate crew mentioned they canceled the flight because the crew was going to be over their maximum hours. AA really couldn't plan to allow for up to an hour delay? I feel disrespected and even deceived. Although it was clear that flight attendant really needed to get off that plane. At the gate, we were told there were no available flights to NYC and were stranded overnight in Richmond. AA did offer a hotel pretending it was a courtesy since they claimed the problem was weather related and not theirs. We chose to stay with relatives and were told AA could only provide transportation from the airport which we did not need. We often have problems and cancellations on this route from when it was branded a US Air route to the present, but this was egregious."

At the airport, my new flight was delayed, which could have caused me to miss my connecting flight to Boston and be stuck at the Charlotte airport overnight. I was then rebooked on a flight that was leaving to NY, with a connecting flight to Boston at 7."

Pros: "Everything was great until I arrived in New York LGA. The staff at Atlanta's airport were great from the curbside checkin agents to the wheelchair attendant and gate agents so that they 45 minute delay due to air traffic in New York was hardly noticeable. The flight attendants were pleasant and friendly and the food was delicious. We actually arrived ahead of our adjusted ETA, after a very smooth flight."
Cons: "Upon arrival in New York, the 3 of us who needed wheelchair assistance waited and waited for them to come. Finally, the gate agents rounded up some wheelchairs that were sitting around nearby just to get us off the plane and to the gate area. After waiting about 15 minutes, while hearing the gate agents being told repeatedly by the wheelchair dispatcher on the radios that they were coming and were passing through security, 2 female attendants finally arrived and they took the two elderly ladies and off they went, leaving me there waiting. I continued to wait, and wait, and wait for ANOTHER 25 MINUTES, total of 40 minutes after arrival at the gate. The same dispatcher lady continued to say that my attendant was on the way, passing through security for the entire 25 minutes. He asked me to change wheelchairs because he liked his better. He didn't offer to take my laptop bag and put it behind. He took off down the concourse before my feet were even on the footrests, with me holding my legs out in front of me because the footrests were up. After 20 or 30 feet, I got him to stop and let me get my feet down. I told him our luggage was supposed to be at carousel E, so he took me to "A". He asked me if any of the bags there were mine, and I said, "Why would they be here? I told you we were on Carousel E!" So then he wheeled me to Carousel E, and since it had now been almost an hour, it was empty. He asked an attendant where my bag would be, and was told to check at the office, which was back over by Carousel A. Upon finally checking with the personnel in the office, he came out rolling my bags and stood them by me for me to deal with while he just pushed the wheelchair. I had told him I was taking Uber, so he deposited me curbside near the taxi stand, which was not anywhere near where Uber could pick me up and was gone. FINALLY, after arriving earlier than expected at 3:25, at 4:43 I was finally picked up by Uber to go on home. What a nightmare! I thought the wheelchairs were supposed to be waiting upon arrival????"

Cons: "They didn't get me to New York. Our original aircraft was stolen to use for another flight. So we needed to wait for another plane that wasn't due until 90 minutes after our scheduled departure. This second plane had maintainence issues. After 4 hours waiting I got on a Delta flight."

The airline should have been ready with cards or info about how to get reimbursed, considering everyone's unique travel situations. Simply a shuttle back to Kahaurdia was not helpful..."

Luckily I showed up to the check in desk early, or what I thought was early, they were at final boarding and almost didn't let me on the flight. The crew was helpful but indignate. Cons: "The rude man sitting next to me. He was just so obnoxious and acted entitled as if he owned the flight."

Pros: "I got stuck in security but the United staff waited for me to board. I am grateful they went the extra mile because I chose to fly that day in order to make it to an important event."

Cons: "When i originally boarded the flight i notices that the person next to me was an obese person that was taking over half of my seat when i went to the flight attendant and informed her she said she might not be able to do anything cause the flight was full. When door was about to close i noticed an empty seat and took. The thing that upset me is if there not been an empty seat i would have had to seat in a seat where there was no space and still would have paid the same as a person that is taking part of my seat and the flight attendant didbt even seem to care."

Cons: "My flight we canceled to LGA due to "weather". Every other airline had flights going to New York on schedule. To me, the reason was unbelievable. I was moved to a flight 12 hours later, at 540am. Not only was my flight time changed but I was now flying into a completely different airport. I had to stay in a hotel and pay $70 because United doesn't pay for a hotel if the cancellation is due to weather. I am outraged by this sudden change in plans. I will never fly United again and I will spread the word to everyone I know."

I will never fly United again."

I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

And they do let you pick you seat; I just didn't because I wasn't willing to pay more for that unneeded convenience. So all in all, a very good experience at a very low price last minute. We had to wait for a ramp to be set up, walk across the tarmac, and up two flights of stairs into the terminal. Then on the way out, we had to do the same thing in reverse, even though our flight (heading for LGA) was listed as being four gates away. It turned out the flight at that gate was really going to Houston. The people who were going to Houston were waiting at a different gate until someone told the New York passengers to go to the gate with no jetway... Confused? Just imagine how confused the hundreds of people were who were trying to find their flights with all wrong information on the screens."

We left the airport and planned to return for a 7:45 AM departure. The airline then delayed the flight to an 11 am departure. We never received ANY notifications or updates from the airline and therefore missed the flight."

But fine, after I realized the joke was on me, the process of updating my baggage status was a nightmare. And THEN...I called to add my TSA pre-check status, which the customer service rep took "and added" over the phone only to find our at the airport that "Spirit airlines doesn't do TSA pre-check." Overall just a frustrating and stressful experience."

I recently saw that Spirit Airlines was rated the worse airline in the United States and I agree with that rating."

So, for just a bit more, my 12 hour travel day would have been reduced to 3 hours. The airplane was dirty and I swear to God, there was duct tape on the engine casing."

However, I kept getting flight confirmation emails from Kayak saying my return flight was on Saturday. I tried calling Spirit and Kayak to get this fixed - as it made me worried I didn't have the right flight booked - and could not get any help. I was able to talk with someone about the return flight mixup, but they just promised me a new confirmation email with correct flight times - I never received this email or any relief that my flights were booked properly until I actually got to the airport. That was immensely frustrating and I spent way too much time on hold trying to sort this out."
