Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

Then my flight the next day kept being delayed, first 5 min, then 20, then 40, etc until 2.5 hrs. Since the delays kept increasing, I decided to rebook on another flight with a very tight connection in Detroit--the only other option. When my flight arrived, the other fight was already boarding and I ran to make it. Luckily I got to the gate in time, just before the door closed. The original flight ended up with a 3.5 hr delay!!! That is unacceptable."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

We were originally supposed to fly to San Juan, but due to all the flight cancelations & delays, we would have missed our cruise ship, so AA flew us to St. Thomas to catch up with our ship. Agents, pilots, flight attendants were all in a good mood in spite of all the stress from problems created from the storm."

I hope that is true because sometimes it is hard to have enough time to grab a sandwich between flights. Free Wifi and/or movies would not only help parents trying to entertain their kids, but I think all of us passengers would be in a much better mood if we could have something to watch to distract us from the tight quarters. One of my favorite suitcases was ruined, but AA has offered to repair or replace it."

The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

I passed 8 more wheelchairs that were not being used. Very rude airport employees. I had to use an escalator and almost fell."

Once you add in the higher baggage fee, the seat fees (no free seats), the flight is priced the same if not higher than other airlines but the real difference is in all of this is customer service. The lead flight attendant on the my flight was extremely rude and unresponsive. My mother had a wheelchair assist her to the gate for our departing flight in Orlando. This was arranged by the ticket counter. Apparently, Frontier screwed up and did not arrange for a wheelchair to meet us at the gate in Charlotte. When we mentioned this to the lead flight attendant, he said we would need to go and find one ourselves. I asked if he could call the gate and asked them to bring one so I wouldn't have to leave my elderly mother, he said, "no". I asked again and explained that I didn't want to leave my mother. This time he rolled his eyes at me and said, it wasn't his problem. Really? This is precisely the reason I will not take Frontier again. Please look into training your people better or your hiring process. Cheap flight do not address this issue."

And they do let you pick you seat; I just didn't because I wasn't willing to pay more for that unneeded convenience. So all in all, a very good experience at a very low price last minute. What more could you ask for?"

I didn't expect the caliber of entertainment you'd find on a larger airline like United or Southwest, but this flight didn't even offer wi-fi. I'm rating the crew mediocre mostly because of the lack of food/beverage, which I'm not entirely sure whether or not they have control over. Also, I heard more than one guest ask a flight attendant how much time we had left, and her response was typically pretty condescending about how we've "only been in the air for x amount of time." Truly, I'll never fly Spirit again. They try to make it look less expensive than other flights until you're smacked with a $40 fee for a standard carry-on, which brings it right up to the price of everything else. I can only hope they improve with their growth as a company."

You are literally charged for EVERYTHING. Which is mostly stated on their website with the exception of the checked bag and carry on fees of $50 and $55, respectively. Those fees can vary depending on who you ask....And even though they say you can save by using the kiosk ($20 to go to the counter), we ended up going to the counter anyway because the kiosk could not complete our transaction!!! On our return, we had to go through customs which requires you to get your checked bag (decided to save the $5 and check it on the way home), go through customs and then drop off your checked bag to continue your flight. Well, the Spirit representative decided it would be a great time to take a break and be completely MIA from their post. We had to go completely out of the terminal and back to a counter to recheck our bag. Resulting in a very close call on not making our connecting flight. The long and short of it all: We "Saved" $100.00 total on the initial ticket purchase. We paid over $220.00 ADDITIONAL to have our one carry on and sit next to each other ($20.00 each seat, each leg of trip). Never flying Spirit again and have been telling everyone not to. Bad Spirit!"

I know where my plane is coming from, coming to, and landing and there was no weather. They are dishonest and abuse regulations to deceive their customers and to have excuses not to compensate them for their troubles."
