The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country."

Then my flight the next day kept being delayed, first 5 min, then 20, then 40, etc until 2.5 hrs. Since the delays kept increasing, I decided to rebook on another flight with a very tight connection in Detroit--the only other option. When my flight arrived, the other fight was already boarding and I ran to make it. Luckily I got to the gate in time, just before the door closed. The original flight ended up with a 3.5 hr delay!!! That is unacceptable."

When the flight attendants did finally arrive they all had an attitude of wishing to be anywhere but on this flight. The lead flight attendant even got into a verbal altercation with the gate agent demanding help getting people's bags into the overhead compartment because she was "injured" & not supposed to be at work. All in all a quite dissatisfying experience but not an uncommon one with this airline & this airport. I will use both only when I have absolutely no other options."

Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous."

Also, because of the outdated entertainment suite, the headphone jack is located in the armrest to the side instead of in the seat back in front of you. This caused me to bend my 3.5mm headphone connection at one point while I was moving my leg, because the connection jack is located below thigh level. The temperature was unbearable, and could not be controlled by the flight crew. Dressed for winter weather and roasted for the entire flight. I actually was dehydrated when we landed because I was sweating for 7 hours crossing the ocean."
Cons: "Flight itself was good, but will never book via JustFly again. 2/3 of my flights were cancelled and I was never notified. Then I had to call to reschedule, which took almost an hour. Then they stated they would send my confirmation via email 24-48 hours. 3 days later and the confirmation still never came. SO I had to call again and wait another half hour. No point in booking through a 3rd party for that type of hassle."

We kept getting pushed back. I am not certain if it was due to weather (in another area) or required flight crew rest, both of which I would understand. There was no reason posted that I saw. I have a 10 yo son who has Autism and should be in bed no later than 10 pm, preferably 9 pm. I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

I am not certain what the problem is, but it is a significant issue with them. Captain was "bubbly" and upbeat without properly managing the passengers' expectations. Bad public relations."

When call for customer service you can't even get a human representative. I missed my flight and they didn't even have another flight to to accommodate me to get to my destination and no one at the front desk to talk to."

Cons: "The tickets we purchased should have taken us from Indianapolis to San Diego with a 2 hour-ish layover in San Francisco. Instead, we got changed to Indianapolis to San Diego with a 15 minute layover in Chicago. Our plane landed in Chicago 20 minutes early, but then we sat out on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate despite being able to see 3 or 4 open gates from our window. We didn't get to deplane until after our connecting flight was already boarding and both my fiance and I had to use the restroom really bad. Needless to say we had to literally run to catch our connecting flight."

The fact I was forced to spend money to check a bag and given undo stress about whether or not I'd get bumped because you're not allowed advanced check-in or guaranteed seats with basic economy ticket is not right. Seems the price should simply be the cost to guarantee a basic flight (two carry-on's, guaranteed seat assignment, advanced check-in) so folks can opt out and go for a cheaper ticket on another airline that offer a cheaper fare for the above mentioned guaranteed basic flight options. Felt like a bait and switch."

Everyone was tired, a little civility would have gone a long way"

And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"

So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids."

Cons: "I knew I had a layover in Chicago but what I didn't know was that I would have to sit on a plane for over an hour with no air conditioning. It was incredibly hot and because of this I missed my flight to LA which took off earlier than my ticket said."

Flights were changed twice then canceled at the last minute. Previous flights have been changed and canceled. Done with Spirit.
My checked bag was both damaged and missing items. To sum it up, everyone I talked with about it just said it wasn’t their job to find the items. Costumer service doesn’t care a bit about you or your stuff. Next time I will pay more to fly with another company, and I recommend the same to anyone flying with checked baggage.

But when buying through kayak, I couldn't check in online and when trying to get my boarding pass at the desk, they had to call customer service both on my flight to my destination and back home."
Cons: "My flight was delayed twice to Boston and I had an appointment to keep. I called the Spirit customer service line repeatedly to ask about travel options and discuss my dilemma. Unfortunately, it seems that phone line is entirely automated. I could not find a human to answer my questions. I finally booked a flight with another airline that was set to arrive in Boston prior to my Spirit flight. I planned to take my return flight home to Chicago, but was informed through email that I had been removed from the flight. I was very upset to learn that my round trip was cancelled by Spirit since I did not take the departure leg of the trip due to all the delays and my time constraints. If I was able to speak to a customer service representative when I repeatedly called for answers, I may have learned of this policy. I was told I could repurchase my flight home for $150, which was too much for me to spend. I am very disappointed that Spirit's budget nature even extends to poor customer service and lack of real humans to provide information during stressful travel situations. Since Spirit has done nothing to make me want to use this airline again, I will be seeking other carriers for my future travel needs."
