Pros: "I was in first class this time. The seat was comfortable for the flight of roughly 2-1/2 hours. We were served a continental breakfast that was filling and healthy with cereal, fresh fruit, Brie, soft crackers and yogurt. I'd rather have something simple but satisfying than something overcomplicated and possibly not that good. The crew was polite and efficient. I did have to use the lavatory at one point and I was happy that it was clean."
Cons: "The entertainment system was down, but it wasn't American - it was gogoflight or whatever it's called. I ended up listening to my Audible so it turned out alright, but on a 2+ hour flight, it could have been frustrating."

Cons: "Departure was late because of problem with thrust reversers. Once the plane started to push back after 1,5 hours delay, we had to return to the gate for another 30 mins because of an error on the maintenance logbook entry."

Pros: "With almost airlines charging much more while delivering much less, it was a pleasure to take this flight and actually be treated like a consumer who paid a lot of money to fly. They fed us, gave us drinks, and were generally very nice and accommodating."

Cons: "We did not appreciate the game of needing to pay for seat selection after having already paid for tickets. We were not provided with TSA-PRE despite providing our known traveler numbers in advance. Boarding selection protocol seemed opaque, complex, and geared towards inviting us to pay extra for priority boarding. Before boarding the plane, we were not able to find out whether any food would be served and the extent of what might be provided. After getting on board, we were offered the chance to buy food. The complementary food was a cookie and a few ounces of soda or juice. Movies were available, but not headphones for listening to them. Leg space under the seat in front of us was reduced to make room for life vests."

Cons: "I don't like the fact that American Airlines try to get me to put my small carry on bag below both ways in the cargo area it is against FAA to have batteries down there. I have 30,000.00 in cameras and they tried to get me to do this both times saying the bag will not fit. The Flight Attendant each time say that it fits JUST FINE! I'm going to try to avoid American Airlines as much as I can!"

Cons: "I had to gate check my luggage because of the small plane size. Had I had a shorter layover this could have caused an issue for me."

Per the supervisor over head bin size does not change yet my bag was "too big" like I said I had flown literally 4 days before this trip and had no problems with my bag fitting nor did any of the flight attendants say anything. I am just annoyed. Also I didn't know that I would fly American as it's through Alaska originally, maybe that was my lack of attention to detail. The carry on situation is what irritated me the most. This is also not the first time that I've had a problem with American Air."

My flight from JFK was not the model aircraft I was promised and thus did not have ac chargers or Wifi in the plane. In my opinion, I was bait and switched via Kayak"

Pros: "The plane was a newer Boeing 738 plane and has AC power outlet at every seat. However I was not able to use their in-flight movie channel on my tablet since there were too many users."
Cons: "I am an Executive Platinum member and normally should get a meal even in economy. It was not offered on this flight. The crew didn't have a friendly attitude."

Plane ran out of Coca Cola and did not have enough for all the passengers."

Cons: "I didn't like that because I was 4th group to get in the plane, all the space above my seat was full and I had to go put my carry-on quite further down. It didn't cause me any problem because my connection flight had a long layover, but if had not been, I could have been late."

Instead of making me walk all the way to the back of the airplane and then having to walk all the way back to the front with the bag.
