Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."

We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."

The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"

That was particularly annoying, especially since the optics of the situation were such that I used miles to purchase the flight and got "screwed-over" with respect to my seat selection as if my ticket held less weight than other passengers..."

A short transfer was made even more difficult, and a massive waste if time and fuel sitting and waiting. Figure out your gates early and better, and move around if needed. At the very least, bring up some stairs and buses to get passengers to the terminal and then tow the aircraft in when you have a gate available."

I had to hand carry bags and i had to put it in front of me which is a very small space already, on top of that i had the window sit so i had no space to move. it was very uncomfortable, and flight was delayed. We sat there for an hour before taking off but i understand its due to the weather but it was my worst plane ride not worth 300dollars. I will not ride american airline again."

I go to kiosk 43 mins before my flight to just print the boarding pass, not to check in my bags, they said the cut off was 45 mins, they don’t let me on my flight to Detroit. No where on my check in confirmation said I need to be there before 45 mins of my flight. I’ve printed a boarding pass later for other airlines. They refuse to print me a boarding pass saying there’s nothing they can do, the flight is closed. My friend was on that same flight and made it through. Of course, they overbooked the flight and 2 people had to get off the plane, so that’s the real reason why they couldn’t let me on. Terrible experience. Pay a little more for another airline guys. If we keep paying Spirit, they stay in business for their terrible business practices."

Cons: "You get what you pay for and the flight was super cheap. However, the nickle and dime gouging for bags was a turnoff. The main reason I'll never fly again though, was pure discomfort. The seats resemble metal folding chairs with fabric stretched over them and they don't recline - at all. For a cross country trip and a red-eye return these are deal breakers. Two days later and my back still aches. This airline does a good job at what it does, however, that's not very much. If you have more than two pennies to rub together, you'd be smart to sterr clear of it, as I will be doing from now on. Lesson learned and chalking this one up to experience."

The agent at old gate called someone at new gate and said group of us were coming down but guess no one at new gate cared as the new gate agent acted like she didn't care and said not spirit's problem basically. Was such poor customer service and never will fly spirit again."

When I got on, my cat was anxious so I grabbed for her to console and a flight attendant approached me rudely to out her away. The women next to me were not happy as well, one of them was allergic. They got upgraded seats and I was sent to the back of the plane rudely. I paid 110 to travel with my cat and I want a refund. Spirit didn't take any time to let either flights know about my cat being on board. I want a refund."

I have been on 4 flights over the past 3 years and they are consistently 1.5 - 3.5 hours late. the reasons for these delays is always due to poor personel scheduling or mechanical problems, never (in my case) due to uncontrollable issues like weather conditions. The fee schedule for needed extras has never saved me money. These issues waste my time and money."
