Pros: "The flight between Dothan and Atlanta was hot both ways - several guys were drenched in sweat by the time we got to ATL (which unfortunately is usually transferring for a longer flight elsewhere)..."
Cons: "If the Delta gate agent makes a change, make sure you get a printout of the changes... Our gate agent told us she had corrected a earlier problem (created when Delta changed our flight 2 different times within the month before our flight) and really created a mess with our seats on board, luckily one of the flight attendants was walking by when the gate agent told me and my daughter that she had moved us to the same row... Since, she has then given away our original seats... SMH..."

But they tried very hard to make thing up to us, which goes a long way to making us feel like we are valued customers!"

Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

Cons: "There were select in-flight crewembera that not only spoke rudely to passengers but also openly discriminated against passengers on board. They openly stated "It's always easier up front, isn't it?" They were openly rude and impatient with a group of passengers who clearly needed their interpretor and refused to provide any guidance when they group was nervous about missing their connection due to the delayed flight (they did actually miss their connection and were left to "look at the boards outside.") I personally experienced direct rudeness that was simply beyond what should be considered acceptable. A gentleman attendant was pouring ice into his bucket and due to a leak in the bag, she was pouring water all over my entire jacket sitting on my lap. Stunned by this, I loudly asked him to please stop and proceeded to ask for napkins. His response was "it's just water, it's not a big deal." I responded to say, "it's actually on my enitre jacket and I need to check that it didn't hit my laptop in my bag" and the response was "it's just water...you don't need to yell at me." I genuinely was frustrted but by no means was yelling. I was handed napkins and when he finally saw just how much water he had poured onto my jacket (the entire half of the jacket was soaked)...the response from the attendant was "Oh, now that I see how much it is...I actually am sorry." Implying..he previously actually wasn't sorry at all. I say with FULL certainty that had I been sitting "up front" or in first class...the apology would have been immediate and freely offered and would not have come with a degree measurement of damages. I am a loyal Delta flyer and more and more so I'm finding it hard to stay loyal to an airline with staff that continues to disappoint and concurrently creates such difficulties throughout the booking process."

Cons: "We paid extra to be able to pick our seat ahead of time but when we got there we were told that in the first leg of our trip the flight was oversold and therefore we didn't have seat assignments anymore. The delta folks blamed Kayak. We did get seat together, but not the ones I had previously chosen. Also there was no beverage service on this flight."

Pros: "Boarding was very organized and quick. Slight delay taking off but not bad for JFK. Lovely crew. Bumpy flight but the captain kept us informed. Food better than expected. Flight arrived early but no gate so we had to wait."
Cons: "OMG! The seats are obnoxiously close together. I could only sit perfectly upright and even then my knees were pressed tightly against the seat in front of me. I am only 5'7". Impossible to rest due to lack of space. I tried to put my head down on my tray table but couldn't since it hit the seat in front of me. Mid flight my 13 year old daughter got back spasms. Upon arrival we could barely walk and looked like two old women limping down the jetway. No idea how a tall or larger person could have even sat down."

Cons: "Spirit sucks! Do not book with them, it’s not worth the cost savings. I checked in online 7 hours prior to my flight. It said check-in confirmation. Status confirmed. Go to kiosk to print out boarding pass. I go to kiosk 43 mins before my flight to just print the boarding pass, not to check in my bags, they said the cut off was 45 mins, they don’t let me on my flight to Detroit. No where on my check in confirmation said I need to be there before 45 mins of my flight. I’ve printed a boarding pass later for other airlines. They refuse to print me a boarding pass saying there’s nothing they can do, the flight is closed. My friend was on that same flight and made it through. Of course, they overbooked the flight and 2 people had to get off the plane, so that’s the real reason why they couldn’t let me on. Terrible experience. Pay a little more for another airline guys. If we keep paying Spirit, they stay in business for their terrible business practices."

Cons: "You get what you pay for and the flight was super cheap. However, the nickle and dime gouging for bags was a turnoff. The main reason I'll never fly again though, was pure discomfort. The seats resemble metal folding chairs with fabric stretched over them and they don't recline - at all. For a cross country trip and a red-eye return these are deal breakers. Two days later and my back still aches. This airline does a good job at what it does, however, that's not very much. If you have more than two pennies to rub together, you'd be smart to sterr clear of it, as I will be doing from now on. Lesson learned and chalking this one up to experience."

Was such poor customer service and never will fly spirit again."

When I got on, my cat was anxious so I grabbed for her to console and a flight attendant approached me rudely to out her away. The women next to me were not happy as well, one of them was allergic. They got upgraded seats and I was sent to the back of the plane rudely. I paid 110 to travel with my cat and I want a refund. Cons: "We experienced a total of 3 delays and was emailed only 15 minutes before I left for the airport. We had delays at the airport, in the runway, and in the air."

Pros: "The international flight had a slightly more comfortable cabin, but still below the level of comfort I am accustomed to on every other airline Ive flown with."
Cons: "Still upset from the first flight, but this one was a little bit better. The seats still didnt recline, there was no radio or anything. They did have seat back pockets and bigger tray tables. Overall I will never fly spirit airlines again."

Cons: "Customs was overwhelmed with people due to poor management of scheduling arrivals and understaffing. This caused us to sit on the plane an extra 45 mins and made me miss my flight."

Pros: "Witnessed one rude irate customer, he handled himself professionally ! This particular gate representative should get more than a pat on the back."

Cons: "Now the comfort was horrible. Even know I had 3 seats to stretch out on it was not comfortable. The seats it self has like an inch of cushion. It doesn't recline back at all so your whole flight you are in an upward position."

Cons: "Nothing, there is nothingNothing, there is nothing remarkable or salvageable of this awful experience. From the clear misinformation on the baggage policy, the looooooong lines to check in, super uncomfortable NO reclining chairs? (What's up with that?) to the rude flight attendance. This whole experience was simply traumatic!"

Pros: "The employees are very gracious and the pilots do a wonderful job making you feel safe."
Cons: "I will likely never fly on Spirit Airlines again. I have been on 4 flights over the past 3 years and they are consistently 1.5 - 3.5 hours late. the reasons for these delays is always due to poor personel scheduling or mechanical problems, never (in my case) due to uncontrollable issues like weather conditions. The fee schedule for needed extras has never saved me money. These issues waste my time and money."

Pros: "Flight attendants were great! Landing was so smooth I couldn't tell the wheels had touched down. No problems from beginning to end, thank you!"
