No wifi, seems to be very common with Southwest currently. Everything else was normal.
Poor customer service, no accommodation for passengers when the flight was delayed over 5 hours.
The flight was late. The crew was rude. There was no food. Cramped and uncomfortable. Nothing about this flight was good.
It was just okay, no frills, basic transportation with no luxury. No screens on the seats, no water or drinks on a short flight. Full flight but at least it was on time.
The first time I flew in the extra legroom section. It was difficult to notice a difference. I had bad luck with my neighbors. The crew was okay. Southwest has reduced the live TV options.
No gluten free snacks. Seats felt worn or bare bones even though it was a new 737 MAX 8.
The open seating makes passengers boarding ahead of you think they also have the right to the empty middle seat. Trumper next to me refused to move her laptop bag from my leg area. I did not make a fuss since it was a short flight.
Three delays that got us home hours later than expected.
4 hour delay and STILL sitting ON PLANE AT GATE. We were told 25 minutes ago it without be 2 minutes. Let me say that again.. 25 minutes AFTER they said 2 minutes. Well, at least we get free WiFi. Oh, wait.
A bit bumpy, but otherwise uneventful, and made up some delay in flight
Worst communication. Delayed boarding for two hours without a single announcement until hour 1 had passed - on time status showing until our flight was supposed to takeoff and the crew had already walked away. No one was boarding. Disgusting part of DFW overcrowded with no AC on a 97 degree day. Then the first app update is that we’d take off in 15 mins… but again no one had boarded a full flight. No announcement in the terminal so everyone is just crowded around a disgusting place with no info for over an hour which turned into two. This was an overfill flight and a disgrace to passenger decency all while likely just trying to fix their own issue of overbooking. The worst airline at the worst airport.
Flight was delayed…once landed at ORD, no gates were available so made us wait for 56 minutes after we landed to let us out of the aircraft!
To have arrived on time and not 3 hours late after having already spent $100 to change to an earlier flight, only to arrive back home close to the original flight time.
The WiFi would not connect enough for me to do my actual work. It permaspooled, disconnected, said it was connected, then wouldn't open an email... it was frustrating. I am not a tall person, 5'4" - and I felt cramped with little room to reach into my bag under the seat in front of me. I feel sorry for anyone taller than me having to fly. the one positive thing I will add, is the overhead bins are roomy enough to manage more bags than other carriers.
On Wednesday, July 30 we were in mid flight from Manchester to Charlotte and we turned around because the right engine was malfunctioning. That was the last flight out of Manchester that night. I was rebooked for Thursday, which became a weather event Friday. There were no seats left on the flight from Manchester to Charlotte. Consequently I didn’t leave Manchester until Saturday morning and we flew to Chicago so to say the least my scheduled flight and return to Iowa was three days off and it messed with my business schedule. Consequently cash flow. I would like some sort of acknowledgment of this event.
We had to turn around and head back to Manchester. Problem with a plane engine.
Amazing food, great staff, with one noticable detail missing ...but no seat entertainment in any of aircraft ...I am not a fan
My initial flight to ORD was extended without reason. We circled the airport a few time and then drove on the ground for at least 20 minutes. These kinds of delays are annoying but somewhat expected… it would be nice if the crew would make an announcement to give updates on how long we could expect to be delayed.
Seats are weirdly bent, I felt hunched the entire time.
On our return trip we were able to get on an earlier flight. American airlines made it so easy to do & at no cost!
