Boarding was easy, first to get off the bus, onto the Tarmac then the stairs boarded first. Flight crew least intrusive. Front row seat was very roomy leg space. Food was fine.
Movie was Fast n Furious. Not a fan at all. I paid extra to seat at the front row from business class. One guy just transferred himself into the chair for no extra cost. I didn't snitch, not my character. I believe in Karma. Always my luck I'm told NOT to use first class restroom. With Delta, I flew business and coach passengers used our bathroom. Plane needs upgrading.
They told us that there is no more seats together and during our flight there was so much vacant seats together and when we asked the flight attendant she told us to pay extra $30 each....they're trying to make money just to be able to seat together...never experienced that in any airline...
The flight crew was very attentive to my needs. I especially enjoyed receiving my vegetarian meal served first. Not that I need to feel important, but it did give me a feeling of being cared for. Thank you, I'm an ex United airlines employee and notice everything when it comes to service. Me experience was excellent. comfortable
I did not have a smart phone or a tablet so I was not able to take advantage of the in-flight personal entertainment options. Not a big deal. I can see how not this makes financial sense not to have the TV's installed.
I lost something before boarding and a member of the Jetstar flight personnel was amazing: he went beyond the call of duty to secure my belongings with ground staff.
It offsets an easier bad experience with Jetstar I had a few months before.

I don't anything about JetStar. This is my second time flying with them. First time delayed 2 hours both ways. No explanation on why it is delay. No weather issues on both sides. This time it was delay 3 times and a total of 8 hours wasted in the airport. Now return flight I got noticed that it will be delay for another 4 hours. Now I don't feel confident about this airlines will ever be on time. They might hit me with more delays. I hope not.
I don't like that there is no explanation on the delay and their only explanation is operation requirement. What does that mean? Does not explain anything. You pay cheap flight u get headaches. Next time I pay more for better reliable service. Jet Star I told everyone not to fly with your company again. It is terrible experience.

Terminal 2 no longer has a PAL help desk in the Gate Area. There are few ground staff around to find for help. At a Terminal with consistently too many flights for the number of gates, flights are often delayed, but the TV monitors do not keep up and ground staff are also in the dark. It would be nice if PAL would set up a central info desk please where staff actually are tracking what is going on.
Maybe a mistake on our part but we were u aware we didn't receive any free luggage with our trip. We ended up paying $600 for 4 bags for a family of 4 at the airport counter. We had no choice and we were stuck. It was infuriating, the lack of knowledge and OUTRAGEOUS prices. Not only do you have to pay for your luggage but you pay insane amounts. You are offered nothing on the flight. We will probably never fly jet star again.
seating is too tight for a normal size person, and they nickel and dime you to death just to select a seat, get a blanket for entertainment which I don't know what that would be....... and a drink can cost up too six dollars heaven forbid a little bag of peanuts or crackers........
