FAQs for Booking Massachusetts to Reykjavik Flights
Book cheap flights from Massachusetts to Reykjavik (round-trip)
Pros: This is a delayed flight after having my flight to the previous night delayed to the extent that I could not take it and make my connecting flight out of Minneapolis.
Cons: This is a delayed flight after having my flight to the previous night delayed to the extent that I could not take it and make my connecting flight out of Minneapolis.
Pros: Getting off the flights! What a terrible experience. We will never fly or recommend this airline again
Cons: We will not fly Icelandic Air again. The baggage fees were incredible - $95 per bag to go from Boston and $110 per bag to fly home. That is over $400 in bag fees. This with practically no service, no snacks - we did get water and soft drinks and a ground crew in Iceland that does not communicate about boarding. There was no system to get people on the plane and no communication You expect a baggage fee but it should be well communicated. We looked up the fee online and saw an economy bag listed. What they do not list is that there are different economy baggage fees. The lower price you pay the higher the fee. Again I don't mind a fee - I just should be able to find that fee before I commit. Very deceptive advertising. I could have booked a flight with an airline for the same price and gotten better service, a few snack and airline miles.
Pros: Everything was really good. Crew was helpful and provided excellent customer service. Food provided was good.
Cons: The only thing that would have been better was cooler air in the cabin. I got very hot on both my flights to and from Frankfurt.
Pros: Crew was fine and movies, that was it
Cons: We started by boarding plane, we sat on plane for nearly an hour before we had to get off due to maintenance. We sat in airport for another hour, got back on and had to wait another hour to take off. Such an uncomfortable experience knowing the plane was down. Horrible time.
Pros: Ability to rebook missed connection by chat while still flying.
Cons: Just about everything. Information about ongoing delays was never provided. Boarded with no PA announcements. After over two hour delay had to go back to another gate to get deadheading crew member which was ridiculous. After get back to gate had to get more fuel because we went back.
Pros: Crew was great. Loved having the layflat seat instead of regular Saga seat. It’s a leased plane due to the grounding of the 737-max so we got layflat seats instead of WI-FI (which is way better in my opinion)
Cons: O M G! It was about 150F while we were waiting to take off and for some reason, business class doesn’t have overhead vents. I had rivulets of sweat dripping down my face and almost felt woozy. The plane was also a bit worn and dirty compared to the last time I flew Icelandair in 2016.
Pros: All the staff were very helpful, even having boarding passes ready for us for our Vancouver connection to Portland.
Cons: I'm 6' 7", so for me, economy-class seats are usually the closest I come to being tortured. The food was just OK - not what I normally eat but I'm sure it's fine for others.
Pros: One of the crew couldn’t find extra pillows or blankets for my kids so they grabbed some from first class. I was very happy that they made the extra effort and looked passed the social economics of air plane seating class.
Cons: Bathrooms were dirty
We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
