Pros: Very smooth boarding process. Made an announcement early that later groups would have issues with finding overhead space and asked for volunteers to check bags at the gate at no charge. Made things go very well without any delays.
Cons: Nothing to improve. Very well run.
Pros: Onboard crew was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Everything else “Spirit” related was a debacle. We lost our baby’s stroller attachment for the car seat. Very helpful as without it we are unable to use our stroller. Attempted to have several Spirit employees help however all everyone did was send us to another person and ultimately the last person just ignored us. We went down to baggage claim to see if by chance anyone turned in the attachment but we’re only told to file a report and if they so happen to find it they will contact us. This is no help whatsoever. Will never fly spirit again!
Pros: Purchased upgraded seat. Did not recline, which is a miss. But it was soft.
Cons: Check in kiosk was a fiasco. After completing the process, the machine spit out a receipt indicating I require an agent for assistance. While in a long line waiting for Agent assistance, one of my party tried the kiosk again out of desperation. This time it worked. When asking a representative why work the machine worked the second time around, the representative said that “sometimes the machines don’t work, no real reason.” Frustration for no reason. Secondly, of the two bags our party checked, one of them did not make it to our intended destination. The Asheville airport, our destination, does not have a system to check the progress or location of checked luggage. Completely inept system and service.
Pros: We made it safely
Cons: Awful experience. Early in the day I received several updates about my flight being delayed. No details on why, but much appreciated. Upon arriving to the airport the flight was still showing 59 mins delayed. Oddly, with all of the early communxaruin, it suddenly ceased! No communication for at least 2 hrs before the flight. Even as the 'would be' boarding window, the line formed with people asking questions... yet there were no answers or updates to the proposed time of departure. Even when the 59 min late departure came and went, there was NO communication. Folks were in an uproar! Finally, with no announcement, the gate attendant just started checking boarding passes and letting people go through the gate. Huh? I have zone 1, yet he said, we're just boarding everybody.... and, on the 3+ hr flight, only 1 bathroom worked. AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!
Cons: On the first leg of my journey, there was a card explaining how to get inflight entertainment using the aainflight.com which worked great. However the Phoenix to Eugene leg used Boingospot but there was no card in the seat pocket explaining what needed to be put in your browser to access the entertainment portal. There were only two flight attendants on the flight and, aside from the drink service, no one ever came to the back of the plane so I could ask the question. I could have used the call button but I think that should be saved for emergencies. I think the information on how to access the inflight entertainment should be in every seat pocket
