The lady sitting next to me said that she always flies Spirit Airlines because she likes the pilots. I agree, the pilots are great, also the rest of the crew. Cons: I am a 130 pound 5"4 woman and I legitimately felt like I was shoved into a tiny little box and couldn't move my body for the 5 hours it took to get to LA from Detroit. They charge so much money for bags and don't give you anything on the plane everything is for purchase. Do not fly this airline. AA and United end up being the same price after the bag fees and seating fees and you can actually recline your chair and breathe on those planes NOT SPIRIT. The chair was plastic and didn't recline???

Pros: Everything else was fine! I really think you need better seats! More professional look! Get rid of the yellow and the way the writing is on your aircraft! Your known as a cheaper flight, but it shows also!

Cons: I think you should update the paint job on your aircraft! Maybe a little more professional? Looks kind of childish! Some of your flight crew seem very unenthused with their job. Like their just there for a paycheck. Not the pilots, but the attendants. I

Cons: Plane was 45 minutes behind schedule, boarding, take off and arrival. Has to walk miles from gate to ground transportation at midnight when airport seemed dead.

Cons: Never have I ever traveled with frontier and had so many flight adjustments... felt like the plane ticket wasn’t worth what I bought for and it ruined a lot of my plans during my stay. I ended up losing $120 dollars due to missing a concert.

Cons: Communication, customer service, booking adequate staff (I.e. pilots) so that flights don’t get delayed until 1 AM

Pros: The crew was amazing and cheerful considering the 2 hour delay and that is was so early in the morning

Cons: The communication was non existent. We started to board then suddenly the crew shut the door and everyone disappeared for 2 hours. We were left wondering what was going on and there was no one to ask!!! No updates on the apps just that our flight was boarding at a time well past

Pros: Grateful Delta still has drink and snack service. Also grateful to still be able to bring a carry on on board. Good movie selections.

Cons: AMERICAN IS THE WORST. Never flying with them again. My flight was cancelled, &they would NOT rebook me until 2 days later. REFUSED to compensate for the hotel I booked for the night. Held my baggage hostage & would not return it for a whole day. And their customer service is non-existent.

Cons: I have an american advantage executive credit card that allows priority boarding but at santo domingo’s aieport they didnt let me do priority. Terrible customer service from check in crew at the airport and no individual tv’s its boring

Cons: Movie selection wasn't very good, and the touch screens aren't sensitive enough, so I could feel the person behind me poking the screen really hard to make selections.

Cons: 5 hour delay and offered nothing, daughter had money for food and they accommodated nothing for her, this was a horrible experience and will never use again

Cons: When I purchased my ticket I paid extra for an isle exit row seat. On the day of my flight I got an email plenty early that the flight had been delayed an hour with no explanation why, which stinks. Once on the plane we found out that the reason we were delayed was because they changed the planes that morning and we needed to wait for an extra stewardess to get to the airport bc of the plane change. This is HORRIBLE planning, if you don't have the staff don't change the plane!! Also because of the plane change my seat was no longer in an exit row. When I explained to the stewardess that I paid extra for my seat that was supposed to be in an exit row I was told that I needed to return to my seat and they will fix it after they are done boarding. Once everyone was on the plane they told me that I was "lucky" because there was still a middle seat in an exit row available... Again I had PAID EXTRA for an ISLE EXIT ROW seat when I purchased the ticket but now I am lucky they can seat me in the last exit tow seat available. When I brought up the fact that I shouldn't have to complain to get the seat that I had already paid for the stewardess gave me attitude like I should be grateful for whatever they give me. Then she passed me off to another gentleman who didn't care about hearing what my issue was he just wanted the plane to take off already. I felt very disrespected by all the Spirit employees once on the plane. Spirit in general is very shady because if I hadn't brought up the fact that I paid extra for my exit row they would have just let me pay the extra money for a normal seat.

Cons: My confirmation email from kayak gave me little information on the actual requirements for boarding my flight. 10 minutes too late (still with 30 minutes left of boarding and an empty airport) and I'm out a lot of money because the strict boarding policy was not made clear in my itinerary

Cons: Crew was so rude at the airport - took us an hour to get through a ten person line to check our bags. Could have gone a lot better had the Spirit employees cared and prioritized those who were prepared and not just buying tickets.

Cons: Chicago to Venice flight was amazing. We were in premium economy, although the seats were larger it was hard to sleep in them, we all felt it needed some back support in order to sleep better. Crew was fantastic, would fly AA again internationally

Pros: Flight going to Detroit. Fight attendant Donna was wonderful in helping me get a seat next to my 82 year old mother. Return flight to lax. Attendant Devin was fabulous! My mother had some difficulty. I believe it was anxiety due to the fact that I was not seated next to her. He was right there to help in any way he could.

Cons: Nickel and dime pricing, seating arrangements, baggage weight and prices will probably discourage me from flying Spirit again. Staff was great though

Cons: Spirit is not forthcoming on website about the extra charges prior to booking the flights, and the charges go up substantially at the airport. There was 45 minute wait time at the baggage claim. The seats are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced in 50 years of flying. There is also not nearly enough leg room between rows. Charging $65 for a small piece of carry on luggage is disgusting. Not having any water free of charge is not healthy for the passengers on a 4.5 hour flight. The flight attendants discouraged anyone from standing or moving around, also not good for one's health.

There was some delays because of the weather or something else but they handled it well. I understand that safety comes first and I agree with them. Yes the crew were highly professional. Thank them for me, please. Some people were complaining about the delay and you always find those complainers everywhere but the crew handled them nicely. What is important is safety and comfort, and a pleasant flight, and it was.

Cons: Seat pitch was too tight, especially when the person in front of me pushed their seat back.

Cons: American Airlines cancelled this flight and then sent one of my two checked luggages to another flight to Newark from Chicago O'Hare and didn't even think to put me and the luggage I left behind on said flight? Either they should have left both and let me deal with it OR send me on a flight.

My flight from Chicago was delayed and nothing was done by the pilots to arrive on time. Despite the delay, I managed to arrive on time to my Connecting flight to CPH - only to realize that I was moved to a later flight. Now I have spent 2.300 USD on a poor flight that do NOT bring me to my destination on time. I am a frequent flyer, and will do everything I can Avoiding United going forward. Never United again

The good thing was the call center representative was patient and help me out, if not for her I would’ve have to spend more than $650

Cons: Flight was delayed 40 minutes on a Sunday night. This was probably the most uncomfortable flight I have ever experienced. The seats are so poorly designed, they did not even recline a measly 1.5 inches, as other planes do, and halfway through the flight my back began to ache and I could not find a comfortable position for the rest of the flight. As a young, physically healthy person, I have flown 12 hrs from the US to Asia more comfortably than this.

Cons: Any airline can experience weather conditions but they usually have relationships with other airlines and get you on another flight very soon. Spirit, I was told, lacks those relationships.
