When we checked in at SLC the agent used my last name, which showed me the extra mile Delta staff will go to make the travel with them professional and curious. They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."

Cons: "Flight was late arriving to George Town due to mechanical trouble. when it did arrive and we got boarded there was another 15 minute delay for more mechanical trouble. There were no meals available for purchase on the plane as they had only stocked the flight for one leg of the trip and not the return leg. We were told at check in that we would have to pick our bags up in Detroit before getting on our connection to Toronto. In fact they were actually checked through. Due to the delays we missed our connection in Detroit. The Delta Agent was rude and did not want to give us a hotel voucher. She also said the next flight she could book us in was 24hrs later. She was unwilling to book us on an earlier flight with a different carrier. After we got her supervisor involved we were given a hotel and booked on an early flight the next day. I would not fly Delta again if I had the choice."

While they tried to figure out how to de-ice the plane..first time this winter! 2) had to de-plane in Detroit via steep metal staircase...then climb equally steep staircase to enter jet bridge! 3) this caused me to miss my flight to Buffalo...rerouted through LaGuardia 4) when I went to reschedule no one was at the flight help center...phone guy I talked to didn't seem to have a clue what he was talking about! 5) when someone finally showed up at help center, I found out that at noon on Sunday, I could not get into buffalo until ten the next morning...via Atlanta! I ended up flying into Rochester!"

Cons: "The woman working the desk at the gate was rude and acted as though it was an inconvenience to help. I needed a seat assignment for this flight as well as the flight from Detroit to Elmira . She first snapped that the seat assignments were on a television screen overhead then told just to use the seat request form to board and it would print a seat assignment . When I tried to explain I needed an assignment for the next flight also she again snapped st me saying do you have an hour or more. I responded "no only 40 minutes "at which time she asked my name and printed me a boarding pass for that flight. From the time she finally asked my name and printed the boarding pass it took about 10 seconds so I'm not sure what was so inconvenient . She never smiled once and gave no response to my thank you . There were no other passengers behind me so she was not busy. I always fly Delta and have always found their staff to be helpful and polite."

Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

For me, in my flight experience, it's to get to where i need to be and not to be entertained. Food and drinks aren't needed, I can get that when i get to my destination."

We were assured our luggage would be loaded about the appropriate flight. Of course, it was not and we had to wait an additional 45 minutes at the Phoenix airport for our luggage. We finally got out of the Phoenix airport about 10:30 -- almost 7 hours later than scheduled. During this time no one explained the reason for the delay; no one apologized for the delay and no one seemed to care. This has been our experience all to often when flying American recently. We will work very hard to avoid American Airlines for future travel and we advise you to do the same."

Done with United- Don't care and obviously cannot keep there planes well maintained- Scary."

Pros: "The flight from San Diego to Denver was great, the members of the crew were very friendly and helpful."
Cons: "The flight from Denver to Detroit was extremely late causing a huge delay in the entire process. Once we finally got ready to takeoff, we had to pull in yet again because there were passengers on the plan that weren't scheduled to go to Detroit.. all of these problems are somewhat understandable, but the crew FAILED TO EMPATHIZE WITH US AT ALL. They even made smart remarks about people going to the bathroom when we pulled back in... I feel some of them acted extremely unprofessional and I truly never want to fly with this company again."

Cons: "My flight was supposed to leave at 3:50...I got to the airport and went through security before I found out that my flight was delayed until 7:30. The flight kept getting pushed back. I waited 8 hours before the flight took off. There no outlets anywhere...leaving customers at a disadvantage because with our delay, our electronics were all almost dead or dead. There were no food options. We were supposed to get a voucher, and I have not received it. Lastly, after waiting over 8 HOuRS, we still had to pay for snack and drink. I was ripped off and will not be flying with Frontier again."

Cons: "It felt like the rear end was going to come off the way it swayed after take off. The commode messed up causing a stench in the back of the plane, (where I was). The ride was very bumpy and the pilot intercom was hard to understand. We got delayed taking off and landing."

Let us know personally why we keep getting held up for take off, why we are being left in the dark, andehy you can't schedule more accurately! Pros: "new jet. enough leg room (i'm male, 5-10). Overhead bins are normal size (can hold typical carry on), not the microscopic ones. Everything was on time."
Cons: "STL ticket counter was only staffed 2 hours before the flight -- which makes sense if they didn't have more flights, but the signs weren't big and complete enough for passengers to realize what was going on and how we would check our luggage. So we were standing around a bit confused. Once Frontier people showed up, it was fine. Also, coming back to STL, I had a 2 hr shuttle bus ride that was leaving 30 minutes after arrival, and although the plane arrived on time, the luggage didn't reach me until 37 minutes after, so I had to get a hotel room for the night. I don't know how luggage handling works, so maybe not Frontier's fault at all. 30 minutes isn't much time, but it was a direct flight, so I thought it would work."

Cons: "The disorganization checking one check bag. I arrived in plenty of time. Very long line to check the bag (no skycab available). Majority of people in line arrived with only a short time before their flight and had to be rushed ahead of me to get to their flight on time. I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

They were rude when they spoke to us and when I asked for refreshments they turned around as if to get them for me and then the lady sitting next to my husband had to get their attention again to ask a second time if I could have water and Chex Mix so I could take my medicine. I have serious health conditions and I couldn't even get water without paying $3 a bottle. It is disgusting to me that we are charged for flight and then charged for Refreshments during that flight. Any other Airline who charges for a seat to take you to your destination includes at least drinks and nuts for free but not you."

It was overall a good flight! The flight was on time leaving and arrived 40 minutes early, quite a surprise, maybe a tail wind."

Cons: "Somehow, the passenger across the aisle from from me was vaping marijuana. There was no flame, but the odor was unmistakable, and there was smoke. Crew either didn't see or chose to ignore. We landed 10 minutes late (I'm assuming because of snow at arrival destination) and waited another 15 minutes at the gate for the passenger boarding bridge to connect to the cabin."

Cons: "Check in line took over an hour and almost caused us and several other passengers to miss our flights. Seats are cramped and uncomfortable. Hidden fees are worse than any other airline. Initial tickets are cheap but eventually cost as much as any other airline, I will remember this in the future and avoid booking with Frontier whenever possible."

Cons: "The woman behind the counter in St Louis was not friendly. I prefer to be able to use my TSA pre check status rather than wait in a security line for 30 minutes but for whatever reason Frontier does not offer that luxury."

I am much wiser now as I realize that only one flight per day in and out of Detroit can really have a negative impact on one's travel schedule. The money I spent over those 3 days far exceeded the ticket price of other carriers."

They even charge you for a soda on the flight- no complimentary soda/juice). By the time it was all said and done, it would have been cheaper to take almost any other airline."

Cons: "Messed up name on ticket had to call to have changed (would have been charged online to do so) Only saw flight attendant once This airline really nickel&dimes you. Tickets cheap but you pay for absolutely anything you may need. If you travel with absolutely nothing than this airline may be good for you. This is my second time with frontier had poor to okay experiences both times, will avoid this airline in the future."

Pros: "it was a direct flight. It was the only carrier with a direct flight. The plane arrived with no difficulty."
Cons: "The Frontier website was misleading. On check in it asked to pick a seat assignment, which were charged additional money for. I tried to undo the seat assignment (after I went and read their policy that it was optional.) So the website is fixed, that it can not be changed. So I called Frontier and after a 45 minute hold time was told options (seat assignment) can not be changed and I had to pay for it. This added $24 each way for a total of $48 additional charge. Also only a small carry on allowed. so that added an additional charge of $30. The seats don't recline even a little bit. as it was an Airbus and not a Boeing plane. not as comfortable as Boeing. Less padding in seat also."

Pros: "Here's the thing... With Spirit you know what you're getting. It has the least leg-room of any airline in North America and virtually no services. If you're bringing a bag of any kind you may be better off traveling with a competing airline. There won't be complimentary snacks or beverages and there won't be in flight entertainment. Make sure you bring your own, and be sure you know how long you can be comfortable on a flight that feels more like a long distance bus than an airline. That said, if you can get away with what you can carry in a small backpack and you aren't bothered by the possibility of cancellations or delays then nothing beats the price of a Spirit flight. The flight attendants and other staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and improvements have been made in their on-time record. Spirit is low cost, low frills. You get what you pay for, and if all you're paying for is transportation this is a good option."

I bought a ticket for my employee to fly to New Orleans and he showed up at the kiosk 40 minutes before the flight and was not able to get on so I had to pay $15 to reschedule for today and he showed up at the same time and still they said that their computers were down and they couldn't check anybody in and there's multiple people angry that they're boarding passes want working and so now we have to figure out how he can get to New Orleans and actually make it there. It'll be three days of not being able to get there because of spirits unethical and subpar customer service. I will never choose to fly Spirit again after this"

I was outraged at their lack of service!! If I could find an earlier flight would they honor my ticket?They said they would charge me $100 penalty to change flights!!! I had to DRIVE HOME, 12 hours. Cons: "Make sure you realize that unlike literally every other airline, Spirit charges you $30 to bring a carry on if you pay in advance online, $55 if you end up paying at check in at the airport, and $100 if you do so at the gate. Carry on, not checked luggage. Every other airline will not charge you for it. If you want to pick your seat, or keep your family together on a flight, you have to pay extra, whereas every other airline, it's pretty much free. Because of this I was placed next to a 12 year old girl by herself in the very back row, thankfully the crew had enough sense to make sure to not let a grown stranger be in this position and moved me to a different seat, but had they allowed free seat choices, she could have sat next to her family and there would never be an issue. If you want a beverage on the flight and didn't pick up your own ahead of time, it will run you $3 while every other airline will give it to you as a complimentary service - meaning no charge. Their website touts that you're saving money on the flight cost by them charging these excessive fees, but I literally only saved $10 from the next highest flight price, ultimately running me $45 extra. Terrible business model."

Cons: "Didn't let me check in 40 minutes before my flight because the computer locks them out 45 min prior to departure. Asked to speak with a manager and was told she was too busy to talk to me and would decline my request anyway. Passengers hadn't even started boarding yet. There was no line in security and I could have been at my gate in less than 5 minutes. Instead I watched the passengers board the flight behind the glass partition and had to wait 1 whole day for the next flight, which also happened to be delayed. Worst airline ever!"
