Plane on time plane in reasonable condition

American airlines keep increasing their greediness by charging for everything, provide fewer benefits to frequent flyers and have poor customer service They acting like United as if they are a monopoly that can charge what they want and treat customers like they feel like Hoping for small airlines that get a better service and price

American Airlines lied to us that this flight was canceled. They made me go to the ticket counter to book another flight. While standing in line, my husband found out it was not canceled, but they were boarding the plane. The porter that pushed my mother in the wheelchair was able to get our bags checked. No American Airlines employee would help us. They just said to go back to the end of the line. The porter called the gate to have the plane wait for us. American Airlines DISCRIMINATES especially against the elderly!

American Airlines DISCRIMINATES especially against the elderly! The airlines took my family of 6 off the flight that I booked 6 months in advance, and I had no flight out of Munich, Germany. I do not know why. I called and had them put us back on the flight. I paid extra for seats so that we could all sit together. The seats were given to others and my family could not sit together. The American Airlines employees were not helpful at all! The agent, Rowna, lied to us that we would be sitting together. They will not reimburse me for paying extra for seats that I did not get. The porter that pushed my mother in the wheelchair was more helpful than any employee.

It's all about spending extra money. Not enough leg room for tall people unless you spend an extra 40-70 or whatever it was. Need to spend extra money for any food you want, was only offered a small bag of pretzels. Need to waste money to watch any tv or movies, so no free entertainment.

fast on boarding... went well considering it was a busy flight and delayed

my partner and I were in different boarding-groups but the check-in clerk didn't let us go in together. We were separated by groups... I've never heard of this before and I do a lot of flying. It happened to several couples on the flight. We were puzzled.

The Cancun airport provides a terrible experience for transferring between flights, especially if you need to change from the international terminal to a domestic terminal or vice-versa. There is no way to get between terminals inside security and the free shuttle is slow and overcrowded. Meanwhile, one is forced to run a gauntlet of taxi and shuttle drivers trying to get you to pay them exorbitant fees to drive you to your terminal. Once you finally arrive you discover that there is no dedicated baggage recheck for an international arrival. Just don't buy a ticket that transfers in CUN.

Comfortable flight. Got an economy plus seat at Silver level. Middle seat was empty. New interior in airplane with power outlets and mood lighting in cabin. Free movies available on network. For a short flight of this duration, a very comfortable atmosphere.

Boarding process was chaotic. Gate staff didn't seem to be announcing boarding groups. I like how American has a promotion with T-Mobile for 1 hour of free wifi internet, which United doesn't.

This was one of the worst domestic flights I’ve ever taken. United Airlines had a maintenance problem I’m delayed this plane by one hour every hour for six hours keeping us captive at the airport !! Horrible service horrible Airline I will try to avoid this at all costS.

The staff were rude, abrasive, ignored several passengers that were trying to get her attention before take off as 2 overhead bins were wide open and full to the brim. She of course was too busy playing on her cell phone in the back of the plane and ignored/silenced the passenger call button. They were so loud when people were sleeping, yelling ‘trash please’ every 5 minutes, we are not stupid, we can see what you are doing and if we have trash, we will give it to you - so please STOP disturbing my peace and let me bloody sleep!!!! I was never offered any food or drink during the entire flight, not even when I was awake - other airline attendants are more observant and come back and ask us when we are awake if we would like anything to eat or drink. So essentially that was 7 hours with nothing after having paid a little over $700 for what was seemingly the WORST transatlantic flight I’ve ever taken. I travel back and forth often, because I’m a dual national, but I will stick to BA or Virgin Atlantic - the planes and service are far superior to this pile of turd that goes by the name of United. There were no charging facilities (power outlet or USB port) and the TVs had such horrendous resolution that you would get a headache from having to squint at the screen.

Made it out of Detroit that same day! Friendly flight attendants!

Flight was delayed. And then cancelled. We were booked into a later flight 8 hours later that was also delayed again due to weather but we did make it out of Detroit that night. Other people were not as lucky.

Enough leg room

A 5 hour fly with no food. charge me for coffee charge me for earphones $5, with no signal to watch a movie or tv it was delayed enough that I miss my connecting plane on latam to Montevideo.i was taken to a nice Sheraton till next night to fly in avianca.at nine pm. at 8 pm avianca cancel that trip so I was send to Chile. got there at 1pm, no luggage, wait till eight am for the fly to Uruguay got to my final destination 3days later,today is my 4day of my vacation with no luggage

I liked that it was a short flight and that the over-head bins were big enough for my backpack.

I didn't like that my friends, who bought their tickets at the same time I did, with their own cards and checked in at the same time as me, didn't get a seat number. I had one assigned when my ticket printed out, after I checked in at the airport after they did. They had to wait until boarding was almost complete before they were afforded a seat. Seemed really strange. With United already having a bad name from recent stories on the news, it made us worry. Don't like worrying when it has anything to do with an airplane.

No help from United airlines when landing there for connecting flight. Asked 2 people how to get from terminal c to terminal a and no offered much help. We did ask a pilot and he suggest s the air train which was a horrible idea. We had to re enter and go through security again. We almost missed the flight thank goodness the plane was late so we barely made it as they were closing the doors. It was a horrible experience. The worst by far

They weren't thinking about our safety and security in getting us home. We got diverted to Baltimore when we shouldn't have taken off in the first place, the second time. And we were left with no safe options to get home!

A 5 hour fly with no food. charge me for coffee charge me for earphones $5, with no signal to watch a movie or tv it was delayed enough that I miss my connecting plane on latam to Montevideo.i was taken to a nice Sheraton till next night to fly in avianca.at nine pm. at 8 pm avianca cancel that trip so I was send to Chile. got there at 1pm, no luggage, wait till eight am for the fly to Uruguay got to my final destination 3days later,today is my 4day of my vacation with no luggage

I paid for extra space and it satisfy my needs.

The personnel service during the flight was mediocre. In my opinion they don’t know what is customer satisfaction. They have to show that they like what they do with a simple smile. They are not doing the customer a favor . That is their job a good customer satisfaction

No help from United airlines when landing there for connecting flight. Asked 2 people how to get from terminal c to terminal a and no offered much help. We did ask a pilot and he suggest s the air train which was a horrible idea. We had to re enter and go through security again. We almost missed the flight thank goodness the plane was late so we barely made it as they were closing the doors. It was a horrible experience. The worst by far

Why charge people for entertainment and snacks put it in the cost of flight , many people onboard complained about this it's 2017 how united could compete with virgin JetBlue southwest baffles me. I surely will not fly united ever again

This was one of the worst domestic flights I’ve ever taken. United Airlines had a maintenance problem I’m delayed this plane by one hour every hour for six hours keeping us captive at the airport !! Horrible service horrible Airline I will try to avoid this at all costS.
