They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

Pros: "I am a little disabled... Am in a electric wheelchair, can't speak very well, this was my first flight alone and my chair would not lock in upright position after unfolding it. (If I leaned back on the backrest it would collapse/fold up. I learned I had to lean forward to keep it up.) Everyone was very accommodating and very helpful! At the Provo Airport they gave me a regular wheelchair and I showed them how to remove the lithium battery, remove and stow the joystick and how to fold my chair. No drinks or snacks unless you pay for them. On arrival I waited for everyone else to exit but also took advantage of the lavatory to relieve my bladder ;-). They were waiting trying to unfold my chair. I gave them instructions to step there and lift on the arms and up it went! I showed them where the joystick was, they pulled it out and connected it to the arm, put the battery in the bag, plugged it in, zipped up the bag and I pressed the green button and Voila! it was done! Thank you to the Awesome Allegiant Crew!"
Pros: "Having to bug hotel staff to make sure to print boarding passes to avoid a $5 charge for each...having to pay for carry-on bags in advance and then unstuff them in the cramped aisles while boarding because the overhead compartments were too small...flight delays on each leg of the trip...staff that seemed lobotomized...seats that have a bar jamming into your lower back and don't recline.... etc., etc, etc, etc, Plus stupid coporate name and a logo that's hard on the eyes! ALLEGIANT SUCKS from its nose to its tail fin."

Didnt like having all the extra fees. All in all there was still a big saving as to going directly to SW Airlines"

Cons: "So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United."

The thing that took the cake was that the cabin crew absolutely refused to let me take one of the 5 empty exit row seats telling me that it wasn't fair to the people who paid more, which absolutely enraged me. So then apparently it's also fair that their seats will fit someone who is 5'-4" comfortably but not someone who is 6'-4"?? So it's fair that I can't afford to pay an extra $100+ for it after my profession got gutted in the recession and I make a fraction now of that I used to make? Making your customers suffer for no good reason is inexcusable. I will not be flying United again. Ever."

They canceled my return flight last minute, and scheduled a new one over 24 hours later. Thus causing me to have to book a hotel last minute, as well as now being AWOL, since my Leave paperwork only lasted until my return date. Had to explain to the chief why I won't be at formation. I'm saving myself the trouble and never flying united again, even if I have to spend more money. United isn't even reimbursing me for the hotel. They basically told me to go f**k myself and file a complaint. They can eat a d**k."

THEN after I get through security, I find out my gate has been changed to another terminal- one for international flights. I had to walk for 30 minutes with my heavy carry-on to find the correct gate. Then the flight was so incredibly delayed because a flight attendant decided to just not show up for work. So unprofessional! If the flight had been delayed because of uncontrollable conditions, then that would be another story, but come on! A flight attendant not showing up for work? That's pathetic."

So I have the wheelchair pusher let someone know from the gate that I am there and will need assistance. Once again being sexually assaulted going through the metal detectors. Outside of being foreign most of the United employees seem like complete morons. Also there was that same bag in front of me. So my legroom was restricted."

I think it was amateur day in Harriaburg because it was like no one knew what to do and nobody could make their minds up."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight. I was put on a standby list for flights to my destination as well as to any cities around it with connecting flights. Every flight was over sold and they were unable to get me on any flights until Tuesday... My original flight was Sunday morning. I was among 26 others on this standby list. United customer service told me to wait at the airport until my flight because they wouldn't be able to help me with a hotel. Less than satisfied and annoyed that I have to miss two days of work on top of having to stay in San Francisco for two nights."

Cons: "When I booked the flight I was not given a chance to choose my seats and was charged $16 a seat when I checked in. It took 45 minutes to get my luggage after my flight! Didn't appreciate them trying to get me to sign up for credit card on the flight!"
Pros: "Cheap airfare. Stretch seating option."
Cons: "Where do I start? Going to Vegas (from Chicago), we sat on the tarmac for 90 minutes with no explanation. We finally took off after that, and no attempt was made to regain lost time. In fact, the flight took even longer after we were up than the original plan. The seats were very uncomfortable. I don't know if the seats on the return trip had more padding, but there seemed to be a noticeable difference between the two flights, not just by myself, but noticeable in the lack of squirming on the second flight by everyone else as well."
Cons: "The plane had by far the most uncomfortable seats I've ever been in. They might as well have had metal fold-up seats. I paid extra for a specific seat, and when another passenger took it, a flight attendant gave me a hard time when I asked them to move. I was unaware that I'd have to pay $40 just for a carry on until AFTER I booked the flight, in which case I would've just chosen a better airline."
Cons: "We were charged for every little thing. From carry on to checked baggage to snacks that are usually included. By the time we were done it was mot expensive then a delta or south west. Not to mention how uncomfortable the seats were."
Pros: "Unable to check in on line (as is recommended). Customer service would not allow callin check in. Check in machine at airport would not allow checkin. Counter person unable to process checkin, initially. At first denied I had a seat. Later found my seat. Seats were beyond comfortable. No room, if instructed to lower head for impact (anticipate law suite)."
Cons: "Lots of delays and cancellations. Customer service is not helpful. They only care about their ticket and will not reschedule you with another airline."
Pros: "If you're flying frontier your not doing it because of how luxurious it is. You're doing it because it's cheaper than most. Yeah they rob you with the bags and paying for anything not water on the flight. But what can you expect for the cost? The crew is almost always good from experience, but customer support online is a nightmare. It is by far and away the worst customer support services I have encountered. The actual people that work at the airport and fly are good but if you need to make a call you are screwed."

The employees were sullen, the flight was crowded, and they charged 50% of the original ticket price for a bag ( original $186, bag $90). This was a surprise. Their customer support is in the Phillippines. Their cost cutting is rediculous. I will pay more and fly a different airlines next time."

Cons: "The airplane was uncomfortable. No entertainment. No real perks for every upcharge we encountered. We were charged for soft drinks, charged for selecting seats, and charged for carry-ons. Then on top of that at the end of our flight back to Nashville, we were being oversold a frontier credit card that wasn't that great of a deal. The stewardess was rude, strict, and just plain unfriendly."

Will never fly with them especially when you factor in the bag fee of 60 I could have taken a better airline"

I asked again at the gate, because I was unsure, the spirit counter told me it was a personal item. When I was in Line to board, a new counter worker called me out of line to pay $65 because it had wheels. I was feeling more than ripped off at this point. More clarity at the kiosk"

After struggling to repackage my bags and getting back in line I was then informed I would have to get out of line again to get a prepaid Visa card because they do not accept cash. Almost missed my flight because of the difficulty at the baggage counter. Paying an extra 110 for bags makes spirit not so nice."

Then on my boarding pass they put 0 bags where I was then asked for $100 fee to check my carry on at the gate. Why would they put 0 bags?!?! Thank God I had my receipt with me and I dodged that extra expense. The staff was so rude. Worst flight experience of my life! They make TSA look great."

I only had a carry on. There was no reason I should have not been able to board my original flight or at the least rebook at no cost. Total rip offs but I guess that's what I get for flying with such a low class airline like Spirit. Never again and I will never recommend flying with this airline. They have so many hidden fees."

Since Spirit airline really strives for that "not your average airline" they refuse to acknowledge TSA precheck like every other airline ever. Then the real spiral began, the flight was delayed due to "weather" because #1 engine would not start in the summer heat. A bullshit excuse for a technical failure so spirit didn't have to refund the flight. Was disappointing watching every other plane take off, I wonder if every single other plane including engine #2 on spirits plane were just lucky to be running that day and the engine #1 that was down was the only one acting as it should in "summer heat" by failing. After boarding the plane waiting on the runway with minimal a/c then being told to exit because of "weather" then sitting around with a rude representative telling everyone to stop asking questions because it's stopping her from figuring out what's wrong. We were then told it's working and boarded for a second time. Again sat inside a packed plane with minimal a/c and were told yet again engine #1 was failing and asked to exit for a second time. After sitting around another hour (4 total) the spirit airline representatives told us the next flight would leave the next day at 1pm. I quickly picked up my luggage and walked to the neighboring gate and purchased a flight on Southwest to get me home. I was soooo lucky I guess their planes could handle the extreme weather. In fact, every single one of their planes was lucky. So, without a voucher, refund or even a "let me fix this for you" from spirit airlines, I finally got home with nothing but a hatred for spirit airlines and their miserable airline. Congratulations on living upto your reputation of being the worst airline. Who knows maybe someone will contact me from all this and maybe change that outlook. Or atleast rectify being so poorly treated as a customer. Cons: "I got bumped off my 10AM flight and then Spirit didn't have another flight until 10PM. I took a reroute to LAX (I was going to San Diego) and would rent a car. That flight was also delayed 1.5 hours. Should have been simple business flight, instead I missed meetings."
