Cons: Too much nonsense with carry on and check in language. I paid for my seat but they changed it for better balance of the plain. Really I weigh 165 lbs. Once the plane reaches altitude they let me take my seat. However the plane was barely occupied and somebody with closer and took my seat.

Pros: The flight was delayed from Newark to Zurich but they were able to rearrange my connecting flight before landing. The Swiss staff were very courteous and amicable. The food was also tasty.

Pros: Best food and attention that I've had on an airline in 20 years. Really. I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline.

Pros: The flight attendant told me I had to keep my seat upright throughout dinner so the person behind me could eat. I wanted to sleep and couldn't do so without reclining. The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew.

Cons: Newark airport is awful. Can't get food, can't get coffee, can't get a newspaper. I would try to avoid it.

Cons: On my return journey I was told at check in that there were delays that would mean missing my onward journey from Zurich. I was then rerouted through Istanbul with the promise that I would be well compensated for my troubles. I was told that I would receive a certain amount for every hour I was delayed from my original arrival at end destination. Well I arrived 8 or more hours after I had originally expected (and the reason I booked with Swiss Air was because of the timing and the apparent luxury of the flight). Once I got back home and tried to pursue this amazing compensation I received some of the worst customer service ever and received 0 compensation for the experience. Very disappointed and will never fly swiss airlines again.

Saw the crew once between the meal at beginning and the meal at the end. I wonder where they can hide for so long on a small plane? Too many announcements by the Captain -- shut up and fly the damn plane! Do you think the crew might replenish the toilet paper on an 8 hour flight? on another note: Seat spacing is adjustable - very close seats Overall--- underwhelmed

Cons: gate was announced at the last minute, and within 5 or 10 minutes of the announcement, the plane was boarding. the boarding process was not handled well. the entire hallway leading to several gates was blocked off for checking boarding passes and passports. it was not at all clear what was going on. no explanations were offered, and there was a huge crowd stuck in the hallway.

Pros: Excellent STAR lounge in Istanbul Good service, once settled. Friendly staff.
Cons: On line check-in system does not remember frequent flier info. Passport check at gate was poorly managed. Everyone was in waiting area then told to get out and stand in line for passport check. It happened each time so this seems to be their normal process. On flight back they bused us to the airplane and waited for all three buses to arrive at the airplane before allowing anyone to board. Flight attendants helped with moving carry on bags in bins but with little consideration to the items. Completely unorganized boarding process to the point it is worth paying a little more to fly a different airline.

Cons: Istanbul airport really lacks seating for its passengers in the general areas. You need to sit in a restaurant to rest your feet as waits are quite long between flights. Another problem is the lack of internet for passengers without Turkish cell accounts. This should be corrected. Finally, lack of water fountains in the airport is also a problem.

Cons: After a delay of about an hour on a very full flight the gate agent asked for volunteers to check their rollaboard suitcases. The gate agents then allowed those who checked their rollaboards to board before Zone 1,which was fine. However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight.

Cons: The gate agent at JFK was annoying. She forced us to check carry on bags for no apparent reason. Much larger carry on’s were allowed both before and after us. Her fellow agent seemed like she wanted to apologize for her capricious behavior, but was understandably hesitant to do so. The airplane seating was cramped and uncomfortable. The rntertainment choices were very limited unless you enjoy superhero movies or a very limited range of audio/musical selections. So it goes in coach class.

Cons: My daughter was booked on this itinerary and was finishing her last leg of journey. Complete ticket was booked thru Delta Airlines. Her flight from Amsterdam to New York today operated by KLM, was delayed by few minutes. And Delta flight from JFK to Cleveland DL4084 was preponed by airlines. Result was my daughter was not allowed to board the aircraft. Worst was yet to come. Your staff at the gate offered her a flight to Cleveland for next day at 3:30 pm??? Means around 24 hours later. Is this how you behave with a girl of 19 years, asking her to stay at the airport. She was refused Hotel and Lounge stay by your team!!! Is this what you call customer services??? Obscene services is what I would like to term it as!!! My daughter asked them to give this is writing, which was refused to her. Why are your people scared to put it in writing if everything that you are doing is right by the Law??? I was left with no other option but to book her on American Airlines flight today departing at 9 pm to ensure that little girl doesn’t have to spend close to 24 hours at airport by paying $423. Who is going to bear the loss of money and mental torture that your team has given to me and my daughter???? Pros: I paid 60 bucks for an emergency row exit, take get some extra leg room and space so that I would be fresh when I arrived in Munich. However KLM allowed a passenger — who did not pay for the emergency row to sit next to me because he needed the extra space because he was a liarge man, and clearly didn’t fit very well in the economy seats. Thus I I lost all the extra space and actually would of preferred a regular economy seat. that would’ve been more preferential then paying $60 and getting less space than I would’ve had it in a regular economy. I understand the other passengers comfort was important and if that was the case he should’ve paid $60 as well.
Cons: I did not get a choice of seat for the one and a half hour flight from Amsterdam to Munich and I sat in a middle row for the first time in 20 years.

Cons: It was not acceptable and very disappointed that flight DL391 from SDQ to NY-JFK was delayed till it left at 4:40pm because there were no crew members to bring the aircraft to STO DGO the night before as it is usually done so that the aircraft sleeps over in las Americas. We were at the airport at 4:30am because the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:05am we were lucky to be able to rebook for a flight SDQ-ATL DL576 for the same day hoping to make the connection ATL-IND. Unfotunately that flight was rerouted to Charlotte due to bad weather conditions with a delay of 3 hrs before it landed in ATL thus missing our connection to INDI and had to sleep in ATL and leave the next day to IND thus missing a meeting commitment that we had in IND. We should and expect to be compensated by Delta for this.

Cons: The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration.

Well about 5 people on a small flight had to see them. My bag was stuck in JFK. I was told id have to come back to the airport tomorrow. At this point id been traveling for close to 24 hours. Im not a happy camper. I usually fly JetBlue and this has never happened with them. Delta acted like its a normal thing with them. I paid 25 dollars to check each bag. How can both my bags not reach their final destination together and how come this seems like a normal procedure for Delta. I paid you for a service and now I have to drive back to the airport or wait for you at home to deliver my bags whenever Delta feels like it. I probably won't fly Delta again unless I absolutely have to.

Pros: We'd paid extra for main cabin so hot to choose seats and got in flight entertainment.. Staff were friendly.

Pros: Boarding was very organized and quick. Slight delay taking off but not bad for JFK. Lovely crew. Bumpy flight but the captain kept us informed. Food better than expected. Flight arrived early but no gate so we had to wait.
Cons: OMG! The seats are obnoxiously close together. I could only sit perfectly upright and even then my knees were pressed tightly against the seat in front of me. I am only 5'7". Impossible to rest due to lack of space. I tried to put my head down on my tray table but couldn't since it hit the seat in front of me. Mid flight my 13 year old daughter got back spasms. Upon arrival we could barely walk and looked like two old women limping down the jetway. No idea how a tall or larger person could have even sat down.

Pros: Some of the ground staff was trying to be helpful.
Cons: That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!

Cons: The flight was delayed due to aircraft issues making us 2 hours late for vacation. THIS IS MY HARD EARNED MONEY! I literally put blood, sweat and many many tears into this trip. The flight attendant was so rude on this trip. It was like she was absolutely offended by my presence. I barely even spoke to her except to make sure of my vegetarian tray to which I got the nasty reply "You'll have to wait because I don't have it with me now". If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach.

Pros: I got a seat in the exit row with lots of leg room. The entertainment that I didn't use offered a great selection with very recent movies, etc.
Cons: I didn't like that I had to take a bus to my terminal. I didn't like the fact that my gate was changed more than five times. I didn't like that my flight time was changed more than 15 times with no reason why until boarding time. I didn't like the fact that I did not get a seat assignment until boarding the plane. I didn't like the fact that they couldn't manage to scramble another plane and crew, but instead forced us to wait over four hours for one that was stuck somewhere else in the country.

Cons: The WORST experience of my life. My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again.

Pros: I didn't like anything about this flight. Only benefit of the doubt is the 2 hour delay as a runway in SF had shut down.
Cons: We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence.

Cons: Boarding process in Frankfurt was very confusing and haphazard. Some passengers had been pre-checked, others had not been- which delayed the boarding. Flight was an hour late. Baggage claim in Delhi was a mess- had to wait for more than hour to get one checked bag.

Pros: Priority boarding for parents with children was a huge help. Provided extra blankets and most of the crew's friendliness was very appreciated.
Cons: Provided bassinet is much too small for even a 17 months old. Also very hard bedding made it impossible for the kid to sleep. We observed same with the other parents. Alone with that, the height of the bassinet makes it easy for the kid to get distracted. WORSE PART: Our daughter couldn't get comfortable to sleep and got fussy, so I took her for a walk which didn't help much. Since it was bedtime 11pm with 0 to little traffic, and to avoid her crying from disturbing everyone I resorted to one of the bathrooms with her. She did fall asleep for about 1 hour until one the FA came literally BANGING on the door. Very rude even after I calmly explained the situation. So sorry for such people with no compassion nor understanding in their hearts.

Pros: Great crew, smooth boarding. The dinner was fine, salmon on rice, salad, cheese and desert, of good quality when compared to typical airline food. The breakfast was ok, fruit, muffin and ok cereal bar, too carb-heavy though. The entertainment offered my options. I particularely enjoyed the "Deep-Sleep" relaxation audios which indeed helped me to get some shut-eye during the overnight flight that left the East Coast late afternoon.
Cons: The comfort in the economy class is mediocre at best. We had more space on the inner-German connection, see next review, than the international flight. The beverage service was skimpy. Flight arrived Dusseldorf on time and then spend 20 minutes on the ground, waiting for a gate, resulting in a scramble to reach our connection.

Pros: Nothing really. It was an overall terrible flight.
Cons: The crew was so bad. When asked for my special meal 2.5 hrs into the flight, they said you haven’t ordered any, which in fact I had a month before my flight. The crew member instead insisted that ”you should've brought your own food” not once but twice. No courtesy nothing. I was super disappointed. I fly a lot and this was hands down my worst flight. Also, the aircraft and seats were terribly uncomfortable (Boeing 747-8 Economy). Boarding took forever as well. Overall a very shocking experience from a very experienced airline otherwise.

Cons: The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection.

Cons: The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )

Cons: Ridiculous policy that couldn't get seat until 23 hours in advance, then that wasn't even true. Then misinformed me about what kind of seat I had been assigned. Then insisted I check a bag that did not need to be checked. Then the food was inedible. Flight happened to be late so I missed my connection, and they offered some more misinformation in that regard; There were of course human beings (staff) to deal with, but they had been reduced by Lufthansa's rules and systems so they were just robots, repeating over and over again inflexible policies. Horrible!

Cons: Lufthansa treated us very poorly. When we arrived late in FRA, the gate attendant was extremely rude while trying to rebook and actually left us in the middle of rebooking because her shift ended. No one came to take her place!! She actually swore at us!! We were only able to rebook by calling the Lufthansa call centre and had to spend a very uncomfortable overnight at the airport without any certainty of when we would fly out. Lufthansa finally got us out on the same flight as booked but 24 hours later. And then, of course, they lost our luggage. Terrible overall experience.

Cons: The crew on the flight was really loud and talked about unprofessional things. Every time I was woken up it was by a flight attendant talk to another attendant really loud across the plane. Also, this was advertised as Lufthansa but was actually United. Kayak seems to do this frequently, and as a customer it is confusing and disappointing.

Cons: The seats are unusually narrow and there is no place to put your book and iPad in the seat pocket in front of you. Also, very unremarkable service

Pros: That the flight left on time and arrived early. The flight attendant was very friendly but knew his job well, and went the extra mile to be sure we were all comfortable.
Cons: That the plane seemed noisy (from the back row at least). That the flight attendant did not help me find my seat. After travelling almost 24 hours I was tired and was trying to find the seat using the boarding gate number. I figured out I should have been in 9 D by the end of the flight. Instead I sat in the last row because it was empty and there was not a seat 26A. I almost missed this flight because my boarding pass said 26A and really it was 27A. I did look at the board. I did not compare the board to the ticket, and the numbers were so close my tired brain thought they matched. When it was time to board I checked at gate 26A and she sent me around the construction. I told the guy there (27A) I was looking for 26A and he said to go around the construction. I told him they sent me to him and he insisted I go around the construction. I would have missed the plane if someone else had not come up just then and said he was going to Richmond. At that point I told the guy I was too, and he checked my ticket. Some of the problem was my tired brain and you cannot fix that. Perhaps when someone tells your employee that they have already been sent around the construction the employee should just check the ticket instead of trying to send them back.

Pros: The very best experience. The decor calming, great seats. "On board Chef " , great food. Staff very attentive, polite and always smiling. They exuded a joyful atmosphere and seemed like never sat down! This was the third leg of our long trip and they made it so enjoyable.. That is a lot as a passenger is quite tired and possibly irritable by this time. This was an Austrian Airline flight and we were really blown away.. I also give kudos to management for having staff that is so efficient, hardworking and yet so joyful!

Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?

Pros: Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible.

Pros: The pilot kept us informed periodically during our journey. I liked that we could choose our seating online. The entertainment was good.
Cons: The plane was dirty, all seats did not have pillows and blankets. Seating was not very comfortable, particularly as there was a box attached to one of the legs of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to move my legs to an uncomfortable angle.

Cons: That I was forced to check my baggage. I never received a chain ticket for my luggage. The flight has a 32 hour layover and KLM lost my luggage and it was not found until a week after my arrival back home. I still have not received my bag at this time. The boarding crew was manually tracking who boarded and who didn't. It was a cluster.
