Pros: Flight crew was ok.
Cons: Bag check was $30, "self service", then directed to wrong line to drop. Flight delayed 3 times and an hour and a half. Jam packed plane. Pay for seats. This is discount airline tactics, not a strategy/market American Airlines presents itself as. Why pay premium if, in the end, they are no different?
Pros: Most people had movies and other things to entertain themselves with via rear seat displays.
Cons: My rear seat display never worked, though I complained about it at least 6 times during the flight. Nothing was offered to aid or fix the problem besides the stewardess saying she'd reset it several times.

Pros: There was only one flight attendant but he was very friendly and worked very hard
Cons: The checkin process is awful if you fly basic economy. This is the second time I have flown basic economy on United and you have to wait in line for 20 minutes to get a boarding pass and then have someone inspect the size of your personal item. You cannot check in and get a boarding pass online.
Cons: Delay killed my travel plans and resulted in a nine hour layover in Munich Germany!
