The FTA in the JFK airport was so mismanaged. It needs improvement. Flight attendants should set age limits. In-flights snacks should provide two times instead one.

The FTA in the JFK airport was so mismanaged. It needs improvement. Flight attendants should set age limits. In-flights snacks should provide two times instead one.

The second leg of my trip left without me despite being my inbound transfer only a few minutes late. My friends told the gate agent and they closed the doors and left early anyway. Then they tried to rebook me on a flight SIX hours later which only changed when I got a supervisor to make it 4 hours later. The gate agent was nasty, unhelpful, and walked away from me.

This was my first trip in years with Alaska. I don’t think I’ll do it again. The planes are old and tired looking. The seats are small with zero legroom. The JFK terminal is one of the worst I’ve been in. On this flight the pilot had to abort the landing and circle the Bay before trying again. I think I’ll stick with the usual suspects …

Alaska no longer allows customers to print boarding passes at the airport. They only use mobile phones for boarding passes. Try getting on an Alaska plane with a dead phone and no boarding pass! Great customer service Alaska!

Boarding was late with no communication. Flight was over an hour late with virtually no communication or updates. The app showed we had departed and were scheduled to arrive on time even though we sat on the tarmac for nearly an hour. People who were using the app to track our progress to pick us up were given erroneous information. Flight attendant was snooty when asked why app was showing us as delayed and arriving on time even though we had not left and ultimate’s not leave for over an hour. Just poor and arrogant.

Nice, competent people and airline. Did the same flight last year and it is a pleasure. Only part of the experience that could be improved is the JFK terminal. Hopefully that one is part of the renovation.

Your staff said the call button is for emergencies only now? Unreal. Also every one who welcomed me aboard was staring at their phone. Why even bother..

There were no movies, have to pay for internet, only pretzel, cookie, & a beverage for a 7 hr. flight..

Friendly crew and super clean cabin. 💺 are comfortable as well. I love the ambient blue lighting.

I didn’t purchase any food on the flight or use the entertainment system, so am unable to comment on them

Air Canada was great! From the airport at Montreal to boarding to the food on board the plane. The crew was great too! There was a slight issue with some other peoples’ tickets that I overheard about but the crew handled with care immediately to ensure everyone was comfortable and we could takeoff! Great experience with Air Canada

Everything was good till we got to yyz...then we got to the gate and there was NO GATE AGENT. We waited 15 min before disembarking. No internet No IFE Old aircraft Second leg in two weeks NOT IMPRESSED

The seats are soooooooo small in economy. I was offered no tea or coffee in the am. When I asked was told that it was too late. The plane was 2 hours late leaving.

My first flight left so late we knew I would miss my connection. Rather than redirecting me then, they made me take a flight to Montreal, then Toronto (there was a flight leaving for Toronto when I was in NYC, no need for me to also go to montreal). Then they gave me a food voucher that did not work (4 places would not accept it). At least they gave me a hotel automatically, even though it was a cheap crappy one. I'm still not home, and it's been over 24 hours. I'm exhausted.

Flight was delayed 1.5 hours as crew was stuck in traffic...that is absurd that the airline would be transfering a crew by car through NYC during rush hour. I missed my shuttle bus and got stuck in Vancouver for the night. Airline did not offer a voucher

Very uncomfortable flight: unhappy crew, wifi not working, touchscreen not working, food terrible (‘warm turkey and egg sandwich’ was squashed to an unappetizing mass about 1 cm thick) and the low-quality earphones that AC normally provides free of charge were now being sold for $3.95. I’d like to say I won’t fly with Air Canada again, but their flights are normally better so I’ll likely chance it again.

Putting carryone size suitcase into the overhead luggage storage on a the small CR900 plane was cumbersome and its assignment to a far far gate w/o the moveable ramps at YYZ arrivals really stunk.

They intentionally delayed the flight by half an hour to accommodate a few fools who didn’t show up in time to clear customs. I missed my connector, missed an important meeting, and was charged a rebooking fee. Never again

Lots of turbulence and had to reroute to Calgary, spending the night there, arriving home a day later. The staff were organized and pleasant, even though they were stressed and tires

Terrible - flight was flagged for fraudulent payment from being booked via Kayak. Requested to rebook with original credit card or provide new payment. Air Canada stay at JFK did not know how to process new payment. Had to fly from La Guardia 2 1/2 hours later instead with Air Canada.
