Pros: "The flight was on-time."

Pros: "The flight was on-time."
Cons: "The seat, again, was the bad news."
Pros: "Clean airplane"
Cons: "Crew seemed short tempered (not just one individual) in response to basic questions. No snacks offered for free and I paid $50 to bring a carryon but there was no space for it. It may be the low budget business model makes a lot of customers unhappy and over time the crew naturally becomes a. Little defensive. Next time I’ll pay more to ride with another airline."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and professional"
Cons: "Seats were not comfortable and didn’t recline. With $40 for a cheked bag made total cost equal to a ticket from a non discount airline"
Pros: "The flight was generally acceptable"
Cons: "Late departure, warning of turbulence - with no actual turbulence. Fight attendant wouldn’t let me use the lavatory during the un-turbulent turbulence. You can’t get anything to drink without paying at least $2. The fees are annoying. I miss comfortable full service airlines."
Pros: "Great crew, easy boarding."
Cons: "Zero entertainment (no TVs, WiFi, inflight magazines or electrical outlets), very small tray tables, pretty uncomfortable seats"
Cons: "would have been nice to be informed that a delay was taking place..."
Pros: "Nothing. Cheap price is an illusion as they charge you for breathing."
Cons: "Everything. Frontier is the worst. Spend $50-100 up front and fly ANY other Airline (except Spirit, they stink too)"
Pros: "Took off on time, landed on time, very smooth flight. Baggage arrived in a timely manner. No problems."
Cons: "I wish Frontier didn't have so many fees and provided in-flight entertainment like television or movies."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Frontier is a horrible airline. They closed the gate early and wouldn't let my friends on board even though they got stuck in security. The service on the plane was horrible - flight attendants were very rude. I also witnessed an egregious security violation in the bag drop line which would make me too concerned to ever fly Frontier again."
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "The 45 minute wait for baggage, the crew that pushed too hard to get a frontier credit card, paying for a seltzer on a 4-hour flight."
Pros: "Both flights landed early and the pilot flew very smoothly (I tend to get air sick so I appreciated this). Easy to get on and off plane, no fuss. Great price ($250) to fly from DC to Denver, nonstop. Can't complain."
Cons: "The seats are very thin and feel like school bus seats, so it was a pretty uncomfortable couple of hours. Also, the check in at the kiosk is confusing and misleading. We were very prepared and did everything ahead of time (paid for our checked bag, knew that we'd have to pay for a cary on bag, etc.) but then when we checked in it asked us if we had a checked bag we needed to pay for. We doubted ourselves for a moment and almost paid for our bag, AGAIN, even though we had already done it. This payment should have shown up on our account and we should not have been asked about paying for our bag, that is confusing and misleading."
Pros: "The customer service line was very helpful changing our flight"
Cons: "Other flights to the surrounding easy coast took off and our explanation was that the plane we were scheduled to fly out on couldn't fly in weather... from Denver, CO... in January"
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2-1/2 hours departing from Denver. There was very little communication from Frontier regarding the reason for the delay. It was extremely frustrating being able to see our plane parked at the departing gate and NOT receive appropriate information as to why we could not board for 2-1/2 hours ! Frontier's newer passenger seat design is terrible ! I can't recall having to sit in more uncomfortable seats !"
Pros: "We didn't crash"
Cons: "--fee for carry-on, check bag (higher than industry standard), any beverage other than water --FEE IF YOU WANT A RECLINIG SEAT --started boarding the flight before the plane had been cleaned. Had the entire flight waiting on the ingested jetbridge for 15 minutes. In Denver. In winter. --flight delayed 1.25hrs as they had issues losing bags --took 1.5 hours to get my bag on the flight out."
Pros: "The crew on-board did a great job, but every other crew was a fail."
Cons: "Check in was not staffed properly, and took nearly an hour to do a bag drop. We paid extra for zone 1 boarding, but the first boarding announcement was for "all passengers, all rows". Once we reached our destination, it took a very long time for bags to show up. I flew Frontier for the direct flight to Denver, but I will be rethinking that in the future. I'm glad to pay a higher price for a higher level of service."
Cons: "It's a dumpy airline with bad seats, no amenities, markups on everything and generally uncomfortable. The service ain't much better."
Cons: "Surprised to pay $45 for carry on! Surprised at the small seats and no leg room and no reclining seats. Very uncomfortable. On leaving the plane, the line was slow, when we got up closer to the front we saw why....the clean up crew had started and was in the isle. Very odd....and inconsiderate. Will not fly on frontier again."
Pros: "The price The hospitality of the crew Flight crew"
Cons: "I thought the whole experience was very satisfactory."
Pros: "Ticket counter reps and crew were friendly and helpful. Flight was easy goin and pilot kept passengers informed throughout the flight"
Cons: "Frontier doesnt offer TSA pre-check for military even when the military ID is inputted online under the Known Number ID. The airline seating is uncomfortable. The seats dont lean back and there is no head cushion."
Cons: "I miss my flight. It was move to another gate and my time is wrong because of the time change. It would be nice if they post it at the podium screen or glance the passengers saying it was move. I was move to another flight and i have to pay again. Gate confusion."
Cons: "Worst customer service ever - this flight is delayed almost 5 hours and counting due to plane maintenance in another city and the airline couldn't accommodate my request to get on another flight (I was willing to pay more!), not could they refund part of my $600 ticket (they said the connecting flight didn't contribute at all to the total cost of the round trip) so that I could book a flight with another airline. didn't offer a voucher or even comp the bag. I will get home after 3am (with work tomorrow). I explained that I've had food poisoning within the past 24 hours and feel weak, and am stuck at this airport with limited food options."
Cons: "Same screaming infants. They were able to sleep but allowed to roam aisles."
Pros: "cheap ticket"
Cons: "- Trays were about 10 inches wide and 5 inches deep - which provides no value whatsoever. You can't place anything on it b/c it's not big enough. - Chairs were short so I had nothing to rest my head on. - Cramped isle space"
Pros: "They gave us a $10 voucher to use in IAD while we waited...for 6.5 hours."
Cons: "The delay seemed like it could have been prevented with a better computer system; we paid for our bags ahead and others didn't have to pay when we checked in because the system was down, no offer for a refund on that."
Cons: "Once you add all of the additional expenses, Frontier is just as expensive as other airlines, but with less comfort and amenities. I've flown with them twice and they have been tremendously frustrating on both occasions. Never again."
Cons: "On both legs of the trip, we were delayed for more than an hour due to inadequate grounds crew in Denver."
Cons: "Lost luggage and delayed takeoff"
Cons: "Seats - horribly uncomfortable, no recline Leg room - very tight unless you pay $50-$60 for stretch Hidden/extra costs - when I checked in almost all seats cost additional money; this is terrible for business travel and reimbursement purposes because it is considered an upgrade when really unless you take one of three middle seats at the very back of the plane, you have no choice but to pay. Carry-on fees are also ridiculous; it would be much better to be transparent and incorporate these costs into the ticket price. Food/drink - you offer no complimentary food or snack and when you buy something, there is a screen to add a tip - seriously?"
Cons: "Communication at the gate was poor. As well as the communication on board the plane."
Cons: "Our flight was late, but the board and the frontier employee working at the time kept insisting it was on time (even when it was past our departure time and we hadn't even loaded yet). Very frustrating, as this meant I couldn't update my family about what time to expect me. Seats we EXTRA close together. I'm only 5'4" and I was cramped. My normal sized backpack didn't fit under the seat in front of me even..."
Cons: "Flight attendant in the rear (on the flight to Denver)... Unpleasant nag. I'm fine with a no frills cattle car that affords 0 leg room and military cargo plane seats, just as long as it's reflected in the price, not the personnel."
Pros: "Price was great."
Cons: "The seats are terrible, especially for anyone over 6 feet. Expect not to be able to rest the entire flight. They are short and unbelievably uncomfortable."
Pros: "Direct flight to DC."
Cons: "I should say first that I think it's a little crazy to ever be too critical of an airline because, at the end of the day, flight is a miracle and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to afford a plane ticket home once a year. With that said, Frontier is really the only airline that I've ever flown on where you hear entire rows of flyers chatting throughout the flight about how much they hate to have to be using the airline, which is actually kind of ridiculous, considering it's a budget airline that even markets itself as such. I think I've flown Frontier three times now, and there's always just a feeling of plane-wide resentment toward the business and a lot of new flyers saying "yeah, I don't think I'll fly this again if I don't have to." Ultimately, I guess we all are responsible for our choice to try flying Frontier, it's just not a choice anyone feels good about. But kudos should be given to Frontier for making their ticket prices low enough to make people think they're still getting a deal even after paying out the a** in baggage fees. For myself and probably most of Colorado, we'll still always choose Southwest or jetBlue if we can, because even though it's a pricier ticket, you don't have to worry about being comfortable enough to sleep or dishing out money throughout your travels. However, if I ever take a direct 1hr flight up to Bozeman from DIA, and I'm only bringing my wallet, a chap stick, and the shoes on my feet, I'll probably consider looking at Frontier flights first. Also, it is a bummer that customers are rude to the crew. The staff on the airline are actually always high caliber IMO, and they're not the ones who made the business model, so stop giving them a snarky face when they make you swipe a credit card for your coffee!"
Pros: "Everyone was nice once we were on board"
Cons: "Our well-working plane was clearly given to another group, and all we were told was that we had a gate change that then turned into a 2h delay for mechanical problems. If you're giving the broken plane to us because the other passengers have a connection and we don't, say that, don't just act like nothing changed. Also, it's been a while since I rode Frontier and I really disliked the dinky trays and poorly arranged under-seat storage."
Pros: "The plane went up in the air and came down safely."
Cons: "There were inexplicable delays in boarding and departure. Frontier charges for carry-on bags in addition to checked baggage. The seats are very uncomfortable (they've removed any padding that used to be there) and made everything smaller. There are no drinks or food served, save for water if you ask for it. Basically, you just get a seat on a plane."
Cons: "My 7:25am flight was delayed nearly three hours! Right around boarding time, we were told that the plane had to be pulled out of the hangar and go through maintenance checks, so our flight would be delayed an hour. Later, we were told the flight would be delayed until 9:15am, and we were given a gate change and plane change. We finally pulled away from the gate close to 10am. It's absolutely unbelievable to me that the first flight out of the day would be delayed when there were no weather issues. This demonstrates very poor planning on behalf of the airlines. We were issued a $25 voucher for the inconvenience, but I don't plan to fly with Frontier again. They charge you for everything! (seats?, carry-on bags?, soda?), the seats don't recline and there's no leg room. I'd rather pay an extra $100 to fly United or Delta and have a comfortable flight."
Cons: "When I was selecting my seats, I had to pick one that cost an extra $12, because the free ones weren't available. That defeats the purpose of choosing a cheaper flight."
Pros: "The flight departed on time and arrived ahead of schedule, and the pilots did a good job adjusting altitude to smooth things out when we encountered turbulence."
Cons: "Having to pay $40 per carry-on each way on top of an expensive ticket and $16 each way to select a seat is ridiculous. Not to mention having to pay for food, even little snacks, on board. I understand that the crew have very little time to clean a plane between flights, but I've never experienced seats quite as bad as I found in my row upon boarding. Little bits of corn chips everywhere (on the seats, between the seats, on the floor, even in the seat belt buckle) and sticky mess where soda had spilled on the seat. My girlfriend fought her way back to the front of the plane to ask a flight attendant for something to clean up the mess, they took so long bringing anything eventually another passenger offered some napkins which we wetted with our own water and cleaned everything up ourselves. No flight attendant ever checked on us or offered to help clean or even pick up the pile of trash. The seats are not comfortable for me since they don't recline and the headrest is not adjustable (I'm 6'-2", the headrest makes contact with the top of my neck). The little fold-down tray is a joke, it barely holds a couple beverages. Even the back of seat storage is too small, barely holding a normal magazine. Whoever designed the seating area didn't seem to take into account human physiology and ergonomics or human behavior."
Pros: "Nothung"
Cons: "Go screwed on baggage fees to the tune of $85 plane experience was extreme budget and was terrible. NEVER flying them again."
Pros: "It was inexpensive."
Cons: "Plane was pretty dirty with food and trash on floor. Many people had bags that were way over the carry on limit and size requirements."
Cons: "Plastic seats that don't recline. Mini trays that I can't put my laptop on. No wi fi. Won't be flying Frontier again"
Pros: "Flight was on time and crew was good."
Cons: "Seats are very crowded and uncomfortable ."
Cons: "The seats could have used those adjustable/folding headrests (with "wings" that prevent your head from lolling onto someone else's shoulder). With that, the experience of trying to sleep on the flight would have been 10x better!"
Pros: "The flight crew was great!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed over two hours and one of the persons giving updates was difficult to understand. The flight was also very bumpy."
Pros: "not much You pay for everthing incuding water, its like being nickled and dimed at every turn."
Pros: "Touch downs of all my flight legs are so smoothly done."
Cons: "an hour delay is a big deal!"
Cons: "Seats never reclined (even in rows that they should), tray table was minuscule (all you can fit is a cup/soda), no entertainment on a 4 hour flight; flight was not cheap (>$360) and still had to pay for bags (carryon and check in), food/drinks (anything that wasn't water), seat selection (or you get assigned to a middle seat); on both flights (to and from Denver), the landing made me sick to my stomach with how wobbly it was (I'd never had this before and I fly quite a bit)"
Pros: "Flight Attendants were somewhat friendly"
Cons: "Tickets/Baggage check in was riddled with errors in both locations that held us back at both security and at the gate. Each location admitted to errors, while pointing them at someone else rather than taking ownership as a company and without offering ANY convenience help. Prices for flying Frontier are also MUCh more expensive, making the airline no cheaper than any of the others."
Pros: "The crew was amusing and friendly"
Cons: "the plane is so uncomfortable hard seats hard arm rests absolutely no leg room no place under seat to put your personal item I couldn't even "purchase" a beverage because once crammed in my space it was impossible to extract my bag to get money. The fare was low but by the time you pay for every additional charge. not a bargain I can not believe that you expect people to be caged in these tiny paralyzing seats. what are you thinkg?"
Cons: "There was no mention of a delay while boarding but it took an extra 40 minutes to get started. There were storms in dc and our plane had to be redirected to a different airport. We were not given accurate information or updated with any frequency. We would be told more information is coming in 15 minutes, then sit for an hour and hear nothing. i could not update my driver that was at the original destination airport. While stuck on the plane at the new airport we were told we could not get off the plane or we would not be allowed back on and if we decided to get off and drive we could not get our checked bags. Snacks were not offered for hours and more than one flight attendant said they were out of everything and running out of water. When they finally offered food, full price was still the only option and they had everyone line up in the back of the plane, blocking both lavatories. Half way through the line we were told we could close the doors and prepare to take off and everyone remaining was sent back to their seat. We waited another half hour to actually take off."
