Cons: "As soon as I got onto the plane, a male flight attendant rudely told me there was no room for my carry on. I explained how my holiday would be starting pretty much as soon as I got off the flight and I wouldn’t have time to wait for a bag to come off the flight. He then replied how that wasn’t his problem. I said I would put the bag under my seat and he said if he saw it under my seat he would take it. He didn’t help me try to find room or do anything helpful at all. I took my bag and found plenty of space to store it. I was very displeased and shocked how I was treated. Also the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee was undrinkable. No where near what actual Dunkin’ coffee taste like. I also didn’t like that they tried to charge me money for the headphones."

Cons: "I had a late evening flight and my neighbors chatted very loudly the entire flight. The gentleman’s seat was one row ahead but decided since there was an empty seat in our row he would sit with his girlfriend. The couple smelled of alcohol, not sure if they were served with more than one alcoholic beverage but it made the flight very uncomfortable. Even with my earphones on at a higher level I could still hear them."

She did move when I requested but what got me annoyed she had me locked in my seat because all her belongings remained in the passage way making it difficult to make my way to the restroom. IN MY OPINION THIS WAS A SAFETY HAZARD. I had every reason to suspect that she is known to the captain because he came to greet her. ERROLD"

Cons: "Somehow it seems less... happy. I don't know why that is but the loss of the safety video we knew was coming with the name change... but I kinda miss that upbeat song and the positive energy it put into take off. Also can't really recall the uniforms. I used to like those."

I'm not sure this could be improved. * Because the flight was long-ish and we had to taxi for an hour, my computer ran down, and there were no electrical outlets at the seats or even usable on the plane, because it was an old plane. I lost a couple of hours that I could have been working. * One of the flight attendants was actually rather rude. Without any warning, she waved her hand in front of my face to get my attention during beverage service. I could understand this, maybe, if I had not responded to a question (I was typing on my computer), but she hadn't even tried to ask me what I wanted, she just went for this very abrupt and aggressive attention-getting technique. She startled me, and I told her she had. She did not apologize."

Pros: "Prior to our flight, our captain made a joke and everyone enjoyed it. The flight attendants were friendly. I enjoyed one of the snacks (Popcorners) and I have never had that as an option on any other flight before. (Although, food would have been a greater alternative.)"

I love when airplanes have personal tv monitors but I strongly dislike the fact that there was a charge for headphones, for the ability to listen. I did not buy any / have entertainment during my flight and CC appeared to be available, but did not work. If it did, I would have provided a higher rating."

Cons: "During the boarding process I was not made aware that I was able to board earlier because I had a child. When I asked a crew member about it she had an attitude and just waved me through. I felt this waa very rude. Not to mention the flight was already an hour late. That issue just further irritated the situation."

I booked a full fair, business class ticket for international flight, and I can tell you, Jet Blue had no business in this itinerary!!!! I completely understand the value of Jet Blue as a cost conscious airline, but on the flights I was on, they only had ONE CLASS OF TICKET! They may tell you differently, but after being on international flights for over 10 hours, I was stuck in a middle seat! And it took me a lot of talking to even get them to admit i deserved anything other than the last row in the plane."

Cons: "The flight was delayed which was going to make me late for my next two connecting flights. They sent me on an airline that had me show up at my destination 36 hours later. Wasted money on my hotel room and activities I had paid for for the first day. Even though I had spoken extensively to the lady helping me about my luggage, it took my bag 5 days to get to me. So instead of enjoying my vacation I was having to spend time in the mall in a foreign country trying to find clothes for each occasion. It also cost a lot of money to repurchase all of these items. I will never support this airline again."

Pros: "Crew was nice. However the spirit airline attendant at the desk told me to gate check my bag. I stood there waiting for someone to grab my bag for sometime. So I asked the stewardess and she told me just to bring the bag in and put my carry on in the over head compartment."
Cons: "However the desk attendant came on the aircraft took my bag out of the overhead compartment. And then left it outside or the plane. I waited at the airport for until 1:30am before I got a confirmation that the back was in fact at Newark still. I had a nursing convention to go to and I had no clothing. So I had to Uber to Walmart than Uber back to my hotel. So I didn’t get any sleep. I didn’t check into my hotel til 4am due to a negligent spirit employee. I paid for the checked bag and there was plenty of space in the over head compartment. She caused me unnecessary stress and an embarrassing morning with my administrators due to my lack of sleep."

I was then charged $65 to then bring it on board an additional $20 to secure a sit since the flight had been over booked. The flight was delayed for the late arrival of on board staff. Most of the passengers were flight crew either connecting."

I sat on the plane from 3pm-10:30. Staff had no clue and charged everyone for food. You get what you pay for & im never flying Spirit again."

Also, we purchased our tickets together, obviously to be sat together. On our return flight, we were instructed to purchase seats if we wanted to be together, otherwise there were no assignments. We got charged an additional $40. Overall, we spent an additional $200! We chose this airline for the lower fares, but they get their money back by charging for everything. You pay for everything. I was very dissatisfied and likely to never fly this airline again."

My flight home was canceled after they made us wait on the airplane for over 3 hours. They did not tell us what had happened or give us any kind of update during the time period. The flight was canceled and they were extremely unhelpful. I ended up purchasing a ticket through JetBlue to get home finally. I will NEVER fly Spirit again. You should be ashamed to work for this company."

Cons: "I didn't get a choice on seat assignment. The flight attendants were loud and bumped into me quite often when two were passing on the aisle. I requested to not do that as there is only space for one body to go through. I got 'I'm only trying to do my job' to dismiss my request. Heard complains from one attendant about the delay causing her to miss her sleeping hours. Was not able to relax because of the attendant's loud conversation with one of the passengers and the loud noises made by the slamming of the doors in the food and refreshment area. Tried to keep occupied but the tray was too small to place my apple laptop. So just tried to squeeze myself in my seat to avoid being bopped into my head and shoulders. Not a very relaxing flight. Was not impressed about the are of a customer comfort. Another passengers were also complaining."

Cons: "In addition to one hour delay that created so much inconvenience, the performance of the flight attendants were not acceptable. Non of them checked the security aspects of the flight before departure including seat belts or not letting people keep their back packs between the legs instead of putting them under the seat. Furthermore, my seat was beside a person who needed two seats instead of one seat and all the time during fligt I was in an extreme discomfort. I talked to the flight attendants and asked them if possible to give me another seat but they were not willing to help much.Totally I am really disappointed with boarding+comfort and the crew. I will definitely try my best not to fly with Spirit airlines anymore."
