Other than delaying take off by an hour, the flight was smooth. Crew were kind and supportive, and made sure we were always considered as a priority.
Terrible experience with an extremely obese passenger seated directly behind me - who snored and gagged so loudly, even throughout takeoff, that no one within ten rows could have gotten any rest even with earplugs! I get that this poor person has a serious health issue, and that Alaska (maybe) had no way to prepare in advance (though he did occupy two seats). Still there must be a way to take a six-hour flight without feeling like I'm next to a roaring grizzly bear.
The flight attendant and first class were very friendly, efficient, and wanted to make sure that service was great. Highly recommend this airline.
Flight was delayed by 3 hrs. Forcing missed connection and overnight stay. Terrible.

Our flight when we finally got rerouted to a different destination than we were going was fine. But 2 days was taken out of our vacation because our flit was cancelled. We understand mechanical problems and of course don’t want to be on a plane that has mechanical problems.Wish there had been another solution.
We left late; had to land in Minneapolis unscheduled to refuel and then landed in interior instead of lax at 2am......
I understand it’s their right, but when two of my party missed the flight after checking in it seemed insensitive to cancel all of their subsequent flights and for us to lose the extra seating despite having paid for it @ the very least we could’ve been refunded for the checked bags that we prepaid for and never used.
I behave had better flights this one was old and poor
I'm a United 1K member and have ben for 10 years. The gate agent had no control over the boarding process and had us passengers queued for hours as delays were announced. On the plane, the overhead air nozzle was broken so col over was powering through on me and the passenger next to me. Not a great experience for a million miler on United. Feel free to contact me. As I wrote earlier, poor planning and/or communication. At least twice, we were told that we would be boarding in less than ten minutes, only to have the flight again delayed at least another hour.
Flight left on time, arrived early, pleasant staff provided water, coffee, etc. access to bathrooms was reasonable and were well maintained. blankets were available, lots of entertainment options. LUGGAGE SERVICE WAS GREAT. I got my one checked bag quickly and was able to make a bus connection for a 2 hour bus ride saving me from waiting another 1.5 hours.
They promise free wi-fi prior to boarding and then once on board you are informed you have to purchase wifi even after being a mileagePlus member.
Both our flights were delayed. Almost didn’t get in the second flight. Staff was rude to the bone.
Everything went well except the turbulence what no one have a control of but pilot and crew handled very good!

Flight was delayed 8 times. We were sitting at the airport for 14 hours. We got 2 hours of sleep (if that) on what was not meant to be a red-eye.

Flying in the United States with the major airlines has become so underwhelming. A 2-3hr flight in most other parts of the world with the major carriers of the area comes with newer, CLEANER aircraft and significantly better in flight service in terms of both staff attitude and a actual meal service.
Wifi was spotty. Tray table was very dirty when I sat down.
Flight was extremely hot and they made us check our bags when the space was nowhere near full

My flight from LGA was cancelled and my rebooked flight from JFK was delayed numerous times. I will now be getting home after 2am.
Flight was delayed half hour before boarding, but when I checked flight aware the plane that would Pick us up had a delay of more than an hour. AA should let us know in advance to avoid waiting several hours in the airport
There was no inflight service. Once we landed we were delayed to find a gate for an hour and a half which was 1/2 the total time in the air.
The gate agent had a really bad attitude and refused to help me get on the standby list. She just handed me a card and said I needed to call a number. I asked her to help with the AA app on my phone and she just shrugged and said she didnt know. After a few phone calls, I eventually just went to a different gate agent on the other side of the terminal and got the help I needed.
One day, I do so hope for a gluten free snack! Seems like with the rest of the world FINALLY figuring out what gluten free is, American Airlines would too. Fingers crossed!!
