To add to the poor experience when boarding in Panama City, must pass through gate security with no access to a bathroom or ability to bring water on board. Given the inability to bring water, I would hope to have a water service at least twice during the flight in addition to the drink service with dinner."

Wouldn't it make more sense to have 2 ... or even one non meat option rather than 2 with meat considering meat eaters will eat things lacking meat while vegitarian cannot."

Pros: "I love the comfort in these planes and also the fact that at least they serve food, which they don't do in other airlines. The boarding wasn't good due to the stupid restrictions the US imposes on flights to the USA. We didn't appreciate the fact that the airline didn't let us know in advance that we couldn't buy drinks at the airport. That was a waste of money. The food wasn't good at all though. The coffee was terrible and so were the eggs, but at least we got something."

Pros: "All of my grievances regard the Panama staff at the airport and on the plane, the staff and services at O'Hare were top notch. Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

Cons: "We arrived to the airport over two hours before our departure time. We waited in line for over an hour to check our bags and get our boarding passes. When we checked our bags, we were told to hurry as our flight was boarding. We rushed through the airport to get in line to board the plane. When we got to the line to board the plane, we waited another hour before we were told to get on a bus to take us to our plane. Our plan left 45 minutes later than expected, but the airport never communicated any details about a delay. We rushed to wait in line instead of having time to get things at the airport or sit."

It’s not the first time it happens with Aeromexico, their airline is HORRIBLE & I didn’t expect with my first experience with Kayak to be just as bad. I didn't know which gate was flight was leaving from until after boarding the scheduled boarding time. When family in the States tried to get updates about the delays, the customer service rep gave incorrect information. I'm not sure that I'll be flying Aeromexico again."

Cons: "Booked flight through British air for a reason. Didn’t anticipate American Airlines being used for our flights. The Flight was also delayed but it was never explained why despite dozens of questions from passengers. This caused a missed connection flight and forced us to stay overnight in Chicago with nothing but a $12 food voucher. When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

While I didn't let him listen to the program, he could still watch violent scenes I would not allow at home. There are plenty of family friendly good quality PG or G rated movies that appeal to everyone. Would it be too hard to get individual screens in 2017?"

People were fighting and yelling and it was an awful experience. We then had to go through SECURITY AGAIN to get to our transfer plane. Our plane was late, otherwise it would have been very tight schedule."

Cons: "Flight was delayed several times - blamed on Chicago ATC. The food offered was not suitable for First Class - there was chicken and vegetarian option. The FA was rather slow in serving and clearing trays. She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

AA cancelled my flight out of PGV, a better seat would have been nice since I had to drive an hour to EWN whereas I was staying only 10 mins from PGV."

When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"

Cons: "Delayed for over an hour but not notified of the length of the delay in a fashion which would allow me to drive the 2 hours to Chicago in order to make my connection. Repeatedly told the connecting flight was the last one out of the entire airport to my final destination. Heard other travelers discussing that they had been rebooked onto an alternate airline and then found a later flight on Kayak, walked up to podium and asked to be rebooked on that specific flight, which they grudgingly did. Of note, I was repeatedly reassured that they were "sure" I would make my connection without a problem and to stop worrying so much. My flight left out of Madison 2 minutes after my connection departed Chicago. I usually fly a different airline, whose flights out of Madison were all on time that day, and will do so in the future despite more expensive ticket. The actual crew on the flight was lovely and apologetic, did everything they could to help us despite the delays. At least that's something."

Cons: "The first leg of the trip the flight crew let me carry on my purse and small overnight bag. We land in ORD and the gate team at our connecting flight was beyond rude, shaming me for having "two carry-on's". They demanded I surrender and check my overnight bag (really just a "gym bag") PLUS they charged me $50! When I challenged the charge and the luggage change mid-trip, they said if I didn't give them my bag and pay the fee, they would deny me boarding! I'll avoid United in the future when ever I can!"

Cons: "One of the crew members was late to arrive, so boarding was delayed. However, The gate crew was amazing, very communicative and apologetic. During the flight the attendants seemed very agitated, I think a smile would go along way to improve the attitude of everyone. I also work with the public, I get that it is challenging, but I do believe that the simple gesture of a smile sets the tone."

Cons: "Seat was changed to last row/middle seat (not what initially booked or confirmed with online check-in). Before takeoff, attendant moved all passengers in back row to alternate seats. Which meant that I was no longer traveling with my colleague. Unfortunately, that made our intended meeting time impossible."

I called and someone got my onto an earlier flight, but when we showed up at the gate, we found out she hadn't finished the transaction and now there weren't enough seats for us. We were supposed to land in RIC by 2, but by the time we got a flight (which was again delayed), it was almost 10pm. The only helpful person I dealt with was John, who took my call to get us on another flight."

I had to leave it to pass through TSA to run and try to catch my flight from Houston to Chicago. When I arrived at my gate I got there just in time because they were starting to board the plane. I was uconfortable sitting between two men. I traveled alone. When we landed in Chicago, took forever to get to the gate so we can get off the plane. There was no entertainment, at least for me. My phone was way low in battery and ai couldn't watch anything."

Cons: "Once we arrived Ohara airport this went from bad to worse. The plane arrived late and the we sat in the airplane for over 2hours because of repairs being made. I feel like the crew cold have been more forthcoming about what was happening it took at least .30min before we were told anything. After sitting on the plane for over 1 hours they finally move us to a new plane to board all over again it was very unorganized ."

The baggage fees are insanely expensive and the seats are so close together on the plane you feel like you are sitting in each others lap. Considering how many passengers they have on the plane and how much money they make show how horrible the baggage fees are because clearly they are making profit. Also, you can't even get water without paying for it. Everything here costs, this is why I will continue to fly with Southwest and I will never fly with this airline again."

When I arrived at the check in counter to see if another flight was available, the only other option would have gotten me there after 2 stopovers. I was headed to a wedding and had to make the rehearsal dinner. The woman at the Kayak counter suggested that I try to get a new flight with a different airline. I did, and transferred airports. The next day, I received a note that my entire itinerary was cancelled because i had missed one leg of my trip. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with the help desk (who were very nice, but wouldn't budge) i was unable to get anywhere. Then, I had to buy another one way flight home to make it to work the next day. I will never fly Spirit again."

Had check in on the drive there got there and was told I need two check in prior to 40 min of my flight. I said mam it's 5 min after if You try help me I'll make it. She sent me to another line, then they sent me to another line so he could say no refunds I should have read the fine print..... KICKER TO ALL THIS I MISS MY AUNTS FUNERAL AND THAT FLIGHT WAS DELAYED ONE HOUR... if they had pretended to do some customer service I'd have made my flight and her funeral."

Cons: "I am 5'3 and I only had a few inches between my knees and the back of the seat in front of me. Not super comfortable but my flight was only 2 hours so it was manageable."

Pros: "The crew was very nice, jovial, made a lot of jokes and kept it light. The airplane, upon boarding, was clean. That's the best I can say about Spirit."
Cons: "Spirit has lower costs, but at a price. To check a bag is another $50, and $55 to carry it on, and while you can get discounts on this if you sign up to be an awards member with Spirit and manage it PRIOR to your flight, this was not explained anywhere in my original booking. Food and beverages are SO overpriced - it's clearly a major profit center for Spirit. The plane was not comfortable. Very tightly crowded, seats do not recline, no back pockets for storage, no entertainment or WiFi - bare bones comfort. At the Las Vegas airport, we waited in line to check our bags at the Spirit counter (the only option for bag checking) after signing in at the Kiosk for over 40 minutes, and at 45 minutes until our flight was about to take off, finally took our boarding passes so we could go through Security. If Security had been busy, we would have missed our flight. This was NOT handled well as they kept calling other flights to "jump" the line. Basically, Spirit touts a lower-cost airline for a small downgrade in comfort. In reality, it is a very SLIGHTLY lower-cost airline with a major downgrade in convenience and comfort. I will not be selecting Spirit again."

Cons: "Seats have no padding for comfort. Everything was not upfront - i.e. charging $50 for bags (only had one bag for each of us two) Very difficult to scoot over to your seat, especially me with major back, knee and hip issues. Overall, very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Checked 30 minutes before flight due to no assistance from staff with kiosk. Was not not allowed on scheduled flight. I had to rebook, costing me $99. Instead of fight that would have brought me home at 3pm, i made it to my destination at 11pm which cost me additional parking fees."
Cons: "The seats were much more confined than flight to phoenix, I asked if I could occupy empty seats behind me, I was told no by flight attendant, medical purposes, yet one of them occupied during flight. I was very uncomfortable and in physical pain afterwatd, I will pay more $$ next time for extra room in other airline. I was also charged twice for reserving carry on luggage. Paying extra to eliminate these factors will be worth it too me."

Cons: "Primitive boarding procedure nearly caused us to miss the flight. Kiosks won't print your boarding pass within 45 minutes of your flight time, even if you are checked into your flight. And Spirit does not permit you to use a boarding pass on your phone, you must waste natural resources & print. Unfortunately, we had a problem while returning our rental car, so we were later to the kiosk than planned. So, we had to wait in line to ask an employee at the counter to print out boarding passes. Thanks to the kind passengers of LAX airport letting us jump in line several times, we made our flight just as doors closed."

Cons: "We were delayed over an hour, with no support at the gate to explain why or let us know when we would be leaving. Incredibly frustrating, as I booked this flight (instead of another airline) for the departure time. Would have rather used another airline.."
Cons: "There is a check in policy of 45 minutes before boarding designed to make you miss your flight. I had to pay an extra 99 dollars on a 180 dollar ticket and was rerouted making me miss a day of my trip. On the way back the tries to make me pay 55 dollars to check a carry on even though they hadn't on the flight out. Worst airline I have ever encountered anywhere near"
Cons: "Seats were uncomfortable and the workers were taking too much at the ticket counter then getting customers tickets in a timely manner."
Pros: "First time flying it was a nice smooth process from the time I showed up at the airport to the time I touched down in the next city. Had some nice conversation between two attractive girls with my randomly assigned seat. The staff of flight attendants were very friendly and had great senses of humor."
Cons: "I ended up taking a bag that was larger than the pictured carry on size on my return flight - but on the flight to Chicago I had to pay for bag check (52.00). Had I known I wouldve just used a slightly smaller bag."
Cons: "We thought we found a great price for a quit trip to visit our new niece. We were totally wrong. Spirit charged us more than then the industry norm for a checked bag. I had tried to check it in early online but their mobile functionality doesn't handle payments. So that was $50. When we arrived they were highly disorganized and it wasn't clear what line to get into. Let's just assume that's just part of an airport experience. We get to the gate, and see that the flight has been delayed an hour. We decide to hang out there and learn over the intercom that the flight was delayed 2 more hours. Did they update the screen? Nope. Less than 20 minutes later they were boarding. It gets better though! After partly boarding the flight, they made everyone get out. We were grounded for a long time before and after landing without adequate information from the pilot on why or for how long. Finally when it got to the point I was going to pass out they wouldn't give me water because "I had the entire flight to make a purchase." Never again!! Never!!!"

For god sakes buying a ticket doesn't even guarantee you a seat! I absolutely understand that every airline has extra fees, but Spirit was an insane outlier. I was charged for a Carry-on. A CARRY ON! Cons: "I would never fly this airline again. I like to think I'm a pretty reasonable person when it comes to customer service, last minute changes, and things like that. Checking in was no problem. Our flight had already been delayed so I was prepared for a longer wait. As I sat there, the flight got delayed two additional times. Ok, no big deal, but when customers were asking why the attendants could not tell us. When asked a general time we would be boarding, people were told "when the captain gives us the OK." Finally, we boarded almost 4 hours later when the delay stated only 2 hours. The plane was OK, but the attendants were far from pleasant. I was OK with no Tvs, baggage prices, and all of that because I was aware beforehand, but the way the staff acted was completely disgusting. After finally getting Chicago, I waited almost 45 minutes for my bags. When I called my car to tell them the delay they replied that Spirit had been backed up all day. Why? No one really knew. On the way back from Chicago to Boston, the flight was set to board at 1:09 pm. The airport was extremely busy, so I did not get through security until about 1:40. I ran to the gate only to see that they hadn't boarded yet. No updated on their website of the delay and nothing sent to my email. We didn't actually board until about 2pm, and then had to wait an additional 30 minutes on the plane because one of the attendants was late getting on. So now, it is about 2:45 and we are finally taking off-originally scheduled at 1:54 with NO updates sent to the customers on the delay. No one explained the delay and no one could give a time when we would take off. A few people tried to call the airline to explain their concerns and were abruptly hung up on. The least Spirit could have done is listened to their concerns and gave an apology. I will never, EVER fly this airline, and I suggest you don't either."

Cons: "seats are too cramped. Passenger behind me kept kicking my seat the entire time (and she was a grown woman). People leaving the fight need to be told to be orderly. I had to calm down a verbal confrontation between two men because one guy try to rush from off from the back of the plane and bumped into another man. Crew did nothing, if I wouldn't have stopped the confrontation it may have gotten ugly."

Cons: "CARRY-ONS cost money. They cost more money if you don't buy them ahead of time. It costs extra to CHECK IN WITH AN AGENT. The airline is not upfront about any of this. These charges supposedly keep the cost of the ticket low: You only pay for exactly what you want (ie: if you don't have carry-ons, you can get away with paying less.). This is bullshit. They charge for WATER— tap water— on the plane. It is purely a money making scheme. They don't have repeat customers because they are awful. Oh and the seats are tinier than any flight I've ever been on. Truly the worst flying experience of my life."

Pros: "Excellent experience. It's always a good experience when the plane lands but to take a good thing to the level of excellence is not easy. Kayak and Spirit airlines are top-flight companies."

Also, I don't have anything against animals, but I don't care to fly with dogs, cats or any other animals in the plane cabin. I can't sleep or read with a dog barking in my ear."
