Cons: "We sat on the runway and then returned to the gate, resulting in a 2 hour delay, due to a faulty smoke detector in the bathroom. There was a lack of communication about status. At one point, they shut the air. Several times they shut off and restarted the entertainment system. It would have helped if they went through the cabin with water or a snack. It was a long wait and we had no idea why..."

Cons: "Avianca's departure was delayed from Bogota to New York by over an hour, which in turn caused me to miss my connecting flight home to DC. I had to pay $50 fee with Jet Blue because Avianca didn't advise of the delay, and my only option home was 10 hours later in the day. I cancelled Jet Blue flight and bought another ticket home. No service between airlines who are not in the same alliance. Travelers beware!"

When I was at the airport I asked the clerked for specific information ,I asked him how much it would cost to take my surfboards if it was going to be to expensive I would just leave them home ,he said no problem that there would be a charge of.$120_150 and it cover the trip until denpasar ,I asked are you sure?he said YES that he would put it on the note and that if I had any problems in NY to just show them the receipt well no need to say.that.when I arrived in NY I was charged again ,the cs rep of the other airline said they wouldn't have charged if avuanca would have put that the surfboard was going until denpasanr when we said that he had done it we looked stupid because he had just checked our bags on the tag until Bali but not the surfboard. So now I have to return and I'm working if I will have.to.end up paying.$1000 in.total.just for my surfboard.when this could have been avoided from the start if the cs rep of Avianca would have told.me the truth or know how to do his Job. What solution can you give ,I feel very annoyed. Thank you"

A red eye overnight flight while sitting up perfectly straight is horribly uncomfortable. I do not understand why I was placed in this seat when there were other available options. This should be communicated to the customer when placing him in that seat, and a discount should be provided. I am requesting a partial refund, very unnecessarily uncomfortable flight. Thank you."

Cons: "On top of what happened with the flight from NY to Panama the situation wasnt handle any better for the conexion. There was not priority conection to the inmediate following flight to Bogota. We had to wait four more hours to go to Bogota. Also the sits were accomodated terribly for me (I can understand they had to use what was available) but if Im traveling with a minor the airline should make sure the child is seated next or near me. Even though, I understood it was a detail that simply they did not control correctly, I requested to two flight attendants to please fix the problem for me, but I was totally ignored by both. When I told them a second time, they said to me there was nothing they can do. But coincidencially, right after I was told, he sat one passanger whom have not seat assigned, right in front of me on the emergency exit. The attendant said minors cant go there which is true, but I would have seated there, and my daughter on the sit that I was which was right behind me. That plus another rude encounter with one of the flight attendants when I was getting into the plane made of my experience with Copa Airlines my first and only trip with them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE."

The only tough thing about this flight was that we changed gates about 4 times, then got switched to a very distant gate at the ass-end of the terminal (literally, the lights were flickering. It was eerie.) THEN we had to take a bus out onto the tarmack to get onto the plane. But that's a small inconvenience considering we travelled from Mexico City to JFK in like 5 hours."

I ended up purchasing tickets on delta to get to Cancun. However I was under the impression that I would return with Aeromexico on the round trip ticket I had already bought.NO! according to Aeromexico even though you buy a round trip ticket if you fail to use 1 leg of the trip you loose both ways WHAT! Then they refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with an airline in the 30 yrs that I have been traveling internationally. I would paddle boat rather than use this air again."

Almost missed flight to NYC due to no display of: departure time, which section of Terminal 2 to be in, gate number displayed on departure screen. We were also mis-directed by Aeromexico employees MULTIPLE TIMES WE ASKED that we were in the "right place" when our actual flight was in a DIFFERENT section of the terminal. NO INFORMATION about gate # was displayed in the section we were in. HOW CAN THAT BE WHEN WE WERE IN THE SAME TERMINAL?!!!! No markings noting which area (M? S?) in the terminal. Flight crew not very friendly. Very brusque manners."

When returning to JFK from Mexico City, I was lucky with my checked bag, but when boarding the flight, an employee had me put my carry-on, my purse, the heavy wool coat I had removed during security, along with a 1.5L bottle of water and other items I'd purchased in the terminal, on a scale, then declared my carry-ons were 4 kilos over the airline's allowance. I then had to head down the terminal to a customer service desk to pay ~$60USD so I'd be allowed to board and not miss my flight. I was the last person on-board. They didn't do this at JFK on my 1st leg of the trip, as I suspect they know they'd never get away with this in the States. I spoke to employees aboard the flight, then at JFK upon arrival, and also on the phone. No luck yet regarding a refund for highway robbery."

Cons: "The JFK airport has no connection between terminal 1 where the domestic flight arrives with terminal 4 where the international flight zone is. I had to take a train from terminal 1 to 3 and then go outside the airport, walk on the street for 3 blocks and get into the airport again. Once inside terminal 4 nobody could help us (we were 20 people doing the same connection) and we went from one person to other asking what to do next and nobody knew. We were so afraid of losing our flight. Finally one police person helped us and we had to pass check point again when we had to take our shoes and be scanned again. Then we had to run because the plane was leaving. This was the worst traveling experience in my whole life. I tweet about it and I had no response."

Cons: "I hate American airlines. It is the WORST. We were held for almost 4 hours waiting for "maintenance call" then flight was cancelled. THEN it took two full hours to get back checked bags. By ths point it was 5 pm, had been at airport since 8:30 -- no food offered, no apologies, not even a glass of water. Of course, no flights back to US so I was stuck an extra day, completely messed up school and work. I THOUGHT I was booking with Iberia but it was a code share. Pros: "The flight to New York was not full and I was surprised when the representative automatically upgrades me to an even-more seat, which I found great because at 6-feet tall I had a tough time on the way to England being in the right spaces at the rear of the airplane."

Cons: "3 hours on the run way because of a series of stupid things. Made it to NYC before connection. Would not hold flight. Eventually was let on connection because tires needed to be changed. American Airlines Plane. Very old. Should have been remodeled 10 years ago."

Cons: "There was a 3 hour flight delay in JFK but to be honest there is a lot to do in the airport and Nice bars and shops next to the gate so I was occupied. Annoying for family picking me up in Scotland however."

Cons: "Check in very slow! The computers used for passenger self check in didn't work well. It took 6 attempts to read my passport, it never did read my green card, wouldn't accept my frequent flyer number. Other passengers were similarly frustrated. The attendant couldn't have been less helpful. I joined a line to check in with a counter clerk. The counter positions were seriously understaffed. The clerks seemed to be working quite slowly and were quite unconcerned about the growing line. I'm glad I checked in early for my flight!"

Pros: "I like that they let a 70-yo wobbly old man hobble the length of plane to get some hot tea because there's no climate control i the air craft, and let the poor old man hobble back by himself juggling the hot tea in his hand and trying his best not to fall. Plus I truly admire one of the air stewardess's ability to chew gum - she was chewing vigorously throughout the 7-hour long flight. Amazing."
Cons: "BA and AA is the best partners. Because both their air crew are clueless about service standards. A 7-hour flight from London to JFK, again no meal choices, no offer of drinks in between meal times - is this a standard Western service level?"

Cons: "This was a nine hour flight and the entertainment system was very old. There were screens in the middle of the plane with the movies chosen for you. On a flight this long, the customer should have options. You also were not able to control your the air. So the flight was freezing! The lunch options were meatballs or cheesy pasta. I thought these were risky. What has happened to chicken?"

Cons: "My initial booking was with Iberia Airlines and a few days prior to my Flight was switched over to American Airlines. Had i known I would be flying with AA, I would have opted for a more expensive option as I've a great disdain for AA. My flight from JFK was not the model aircraft I was promised and thus did not have ac chargers or Wifi in the plane. In my opinion, I was bait and switched via Kayak"

Cons: "It's not finnair. It's American Airlines. The sears were so cramped that I have a horrible backache. Stop calling it finnair. Several airlines booked tickets on this flight. There's nothing good to say."

Cons: "AA didn't notify me of their change to my itinerary so I missed my flight, they cancelled my return flight from Europe, and only offered to refund my ticket when I spoke to a supervisor. I drove 5.5 hours to another city to catch a flight to Europe, believing my return ticket was valid as AA first told me, only later to learn they cancelled it. Thanks to AA, I currently I have no return ticket. Others on this flight and on my later Iberia flight were cursing AA loudly so I don't think my issue is an anomaly, but is more likely AA's new standard of conduct."

Cons: "To start, the boarding process is a chaos. First class and executive platinums should board first, but of course the gate agent was completely clueless and rude, even to an ExPlat. Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Cons: "My booking for some bizarre reason had my name on it twice and I was out of luck. Air berlins does not have a counter in any of the airports. If you are flying this you are on your own. If anything goes wrong you'll be stuck calling a 1800 number to Germany. Worst experience of my life had to buy a new ticket at the counter for 5k dollars to get to Berlin with family."
