Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."

Also United service counter went above and beyond to help me with my situation, and I am grateful that they were able to rebook me on a new flight and check in my luggage without issues."
Cons: "There was no one at SAS service counter... I had to Google my flight number to find out that I actually had to check in with United since it was actually a United operated flight. Why was I not informed beforehand?? My itinerary said that this is SAS flight, how was I supposed to know that i was supposed to go to United?? Because there was no one at SAS counter, I had no one to ask, I ended up waiting for the counter to open for an hour. When I found out I had to go to United, it was already too late for me to check in so I ended up missing my flight. Thank god for the agent at United however, who helped me rebook my flight and check in my luggage."

I had to rent by my own money $160 a day. UA should arraign a hotel either close to the airport or pay the rental car for me."

Cons: "Plane sat on rinway in Newark. For 4 hours before takeoff with no explanation provided. I miissed my connection to Dubrovnik. I was flown from munich to frankfurt and then to zagreb. I was put up in a very low class hotel. I aarived in dubrovnik at noon the following day. This caused me great anxiety and aggravation and a losd of a full day of vacation."

I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. We declined to complain for fear we would be thrown from the plane. Oh yes, I have 1,800,000 miles on United."

The third announcement was the one I felt was highly inappropriate when she then stated "I DONT KNOW IF YOUVE BEEN WATCHING THE NEWS LATELY, BUT THERE IS NO WARNING WHEN THE TURBULANCE IS GOING TO GET WORSE" frankly I have been watching the news lately and there is plane CRASHES on the news. My husband is afraid of flying and that announcement was terrifying, even for someone who is not afraid to fly. There has to be some sort of protocol of verbage to use when the turbulance is getting bad, because to insinuate the plane could crash to get your point across is crossing the line. I have been on planes where the turbulance is a lot worse and felt this was really out of line."

My bags were 42 pounds and 46 pounds and I had to pay and additional $30 for each of them."

Cons: "Terrible landing. Descent had way more twist and turns than any other flight and seemed much longer than normal."

Cons: "Paying for every single thing - including carry on bag and water. The low price no longer remains low when charged for everything. Flight crew and other positions didn't have good customer service either."

Cons: "Don't have any intertainmen in the flight....TV no snacks you have to paid it.."

Cons: "Getting checked in and checking a bag was chaos. Then we waited nearly 45 minutes for our baggage to come."

Cons: "The flight was awful. Seats don't recline. Cost 55$ to get your carry on bag on the flight, unlike every other airline... Which could be 100 if you don't read the fine print and pay for that while checking in. Complete scam. Flights were all delayed almost causing us to miss our connecting flight and the staff was completely useless when asking to help us make it on time."

Cons: "I was unable to pay for my carry on prior to flight because I could not access my account. There was some problem with my purchasing a ticket for my daughter. Her name and flight kept coming up. I had to pay 55 dollars for my small carry on because I did not pay online. I tried dealing with this during my 36 hours or so in Florida and was unsuccessful. I spoke to several Sprit Airlines people. I ended up leaving half of my things in Florida because another 55 dollars is ridiculous. I am not planning to fly Spirit airlines again. I understand rules and guidelines but found the lack of customer service in my case to be unacceptable."

Pros: "Flight was on time and the airplane was clean."
Cons: "Turbulence was awful for much of the flight, and although that can't always be avoided, reassurance from the pilot or flight attendants would have been much appreciated. Flight attendants carried on conversations loudly and were rude to travelers who wanted to move to empty seats."

Cons: "The Flight was cancelled without notice!!!! Counter staff was nonchalant about the situation but did offer a flight that would head out 12 hours later. I am Not a fan!!"

Pros: "Everyone was very courteous. Boarding was easy and organized. Getting our boarding passes were easy."
Cons: "We had to pay for each piece of luggage. There was no food offered unless you paid for it."

Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable. They charge you extra fees for just about anything!! I couldnt even get a cup of water, in fact the a staff member made a joke and said she could turn up the air for me and laughed. not funny. The crew was so loud and talky, Everyone on th eplane was trying to rest but it was very hard. The gate was so very far away where Spirit check in was!!!"

Cons: "Is my firts time and the last time I buy tickets with this airline, you have to pay for all, I don't recommend ."

Cons: "Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way."

Cons: "Baggage fees extremely high..even if you take it on the plane. If you do t have access to a computer a charge to check I at the airport. Have to pay for membership. Time you pay all the high fees no cheaper then other airlines hat have better service."

Cons: "i was seated next to a women that clearly needed two seats. when she boarded someone should have seen this . I was stuffed into a seat and couldn"t move for my 21/2 hr flight. I didn"t want to make a sene but Really? BETHIE DAYTON"

Pros: "The flight itself was not bad. The crew were good."
Cons: "Trying to check my bag. I did everything a head of time and then still had to wait in the line with everyone who was checking in. They need to separate the drop off from the check in. They were so unorganized they had to open special lines for specific flights because they were behind. I got to the airport 2 1/2 hours ahead of time because I had to drop off my rental car. I spent almost 2 hours just trying to "drop" my bag. My wife and I have decided not to use Spirit ever again."

Pros: "The staff wasn't unpleasant!"
Cons: "This was a ridiculously horrible flight. You can only carry a pocket book and they charge you for water and don't give you a single item to snack on. It was a horrible rip off. If you have two bags (ex. A pocket book and duffle bag) they charge you $53 regardless of how small your pocket book might be. A family infront of me had to pay $100 at the door!!"

Cons: "It's terrible when you pay extra for better seats, yet when there are emergency seats available, they are given to other people for free. There should be a system where people who have paid for upgrades get preference or this system makes no sense."

Pros: "Very uncomfortable seats (international flight) the flight was delayed an hour which is a big deal when the flight departs originally at 2:30am. The layover time is simply not enough time to make a connection, I highly recommend that this airline rethink the way they schedule flights, it would save them a lot of money and angry customers. the flight attendants were nice as were the counter people, however the people that are suppose to be helping you make your connection In Fort Lauderdale are rude and unhelpful. If you have a connecting flight, make sure you have at least 3 hours or you won't make it-again, something that spirit needs to change."

Pros: "$52 to check your bag, $55 to carry it on. Charge for drinks, non-alc. Seats don't recline and are very close together. Maybe for short flights, but not over an hour, too uncomfortable."

Cons: "They cancelled the flight - not traveling with Spirit again!"

Cons: "Everything else... poorly managed baggage check. I waited in the longest line for 45 min. Seats are uncomfortable and your baggage policy is really sneaky and unappealing. Yes I read the policy beforehand. Not the most upfront airline in this regard. Not good for long trips."

Cons: "I will never fly Spirit again. I knew from one previous experience that they were the pits regarding seat room; but I never figured they were theives They never sent a confirmation of ticket. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO HUMAN BEING TO SPEAK WITH IN PERSON on their telephone contact number, no matter what button you push. The transaction didn't post on my credit card, so I assumed it did not go through. I bought another ticket. Five days later they put both tickets through. that's it I am done with this cluster F$%K airline."

Cons: "Surprise expensive carry on baggage fees. No free beverages, not even water."
