Pros: "Alaska Airlines continues to do it rite! To my surprise, while checking in my 60 lb bag of surfboards, I was only charged $25, not the already low price of $75 I am usually charged. This new discounted price enabled me to save $100 round trip on board charges. Unlike other airlines that charge $100 Per surfboard, Alaska Airlines has implemented a program that serves the sports enthusiasts. From surfers, golfers, hunters, fisherman, and so on. Our gear goes with us for a fantastic price. Also, the food is actually pretty tasty too & the flight attendants treat you well."

When my flight from Dallas landed at LAX a passenger in front of me began seizing, everyone just moved and I went up to help I am a NCMA I have traing in this area, the flight attendant was rude and told me i didn't know what i was doing and to sit down. So i sat down. Waiting for EMS to get there delayed deplaning which is understandable. However when I got to my gate to board to Portland, I was told that due to not being there on time they gave away my seat. She was very rude. When I began crying, pulled out my phone and asked for her name and supervisor she magically found me a seat but it wasnt the economy we paid for."
Pros: "This was our first time using Alaska Airlines and they were great! Checking in online was easy. Flight attendants and other staff were friendly and seemed to have your best interest in mind. My husband and I had a 20 hour layover in LA coming back from Costa Rica and we asked if we would have to pay another fee to recheck our bag for the second flight. They were very understanding and waived the fee since our overnight stay in LA was technically a layover and we had previously made the whole reservation for both flights at once using their company. Overall we liked our experience with Alaska and would definitely use them again!"

My original flight to dallas was delayed from 12:56 to 8pm which would of landed me in dallas at 2:21am but the club Fat Rabbit closes at 2am Which in fact was a 1300 (US dollar) loss. I re booked my ticket to Austin from Vancouver this morning because the only reason to go dallas was my job. Was supposed to fly in have dinner play music get back on the plane n go Austin but going to dallas was irrelevant and a 7 hour delay was absolutely ridiculous."

We can't stand up straight at our seats making it very difficulty to get in and out of our seats. -Couldn't access entertainment on my Mac laptop. -Bathroom closets are too small. Floors in the bathroom were consistently wet because the sink is too small for people to wash their hands. -Two bathrooms for the majority of the passengers on the plane is just not enough and you know it. It's pretty uncivilized. It creates a line at the back of the plane covering at least 5 rows. Then, your aisles are too narrow. So we have to rub our bodies up against each other to let people squeeze through. -I think you guys could do better than one tiny bag of pretzel mix for a 5 hour flight. -Let's get upper management flying in economy across the country and see what they would change."

Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Let me preface this by saying that I travel regularly and have never experienced anything like what has transpired over the last 36+ hours. I've been unable to get to my work and unable to return home to my two young children, stuck in international limbo. The thing that really galls about my whole experience, though, has been that the actions as well as tenor of the interactions with almost every single Air Canada customer service representative has been deplorable. No one has even apologized for the inconvenience, let alone taken ownership of the situation to fix it. My experience as a customer has been reprehensible. I was scheduled to travel from Los Angeles to Tel Aviv through Chicago and then Toronto. The problems started in Chicago. My layover in Toronto was scheduled to be brief and I became concerned when the flight in Chicago did not board on time and no information was given. Some time later (maybe 20 minutes, although, to be honest, I was not concerned enough at that point to be checking) we were told there were maintenance problems. I immediately went to the counter and asked about other possible routes to Tel Aviv as it was clear that I would not make my connection. While missed connections happen all the time in travel, I have never encountered airline personnel who were so disinterested in helping. My immediate stop was the Air Canada service desk. The man there started to look for solutions and then passed it off to someone else as he got frustrated that it was not a simple route. She in turn asked if I could find someone else to help. But this was the service desk! So she begrudgingly went back to it. She put me to the side to help other passengers and told me to go get food and not to hover. I stood to the side and checked back and she had not come back to the task. Neither had the man I first worked with. By this point well over an hour had elapsed and they conceded to help as another family in the same position came up and also asked for assistance. They began trying to reroute us and then the flight cleared and we were able to board. We did not want to but they told us that there would be someone waiting at the jet bridge to expedite the connection to Tel Aviv and that we had made it just in time. We did not trust him and said so and he assured us that they would hold the plane for our flight. This did not happen. The Air Canada agent flatly lied to us. There was no one waiting to help get us to the gate. They did not hold the plane. I ran through the Toronto airport at sprint speed and left the other family to try to hold the plane for us all. They had already given away my seat despite my having checked in, paid for an extra legroom exit seat, and begun travel on the original itinerary. Thus did I miss the flight to Tel Aviv."
Pros: "It's always a mess. SFO should put more chairs on the main level at international boarding and have people sit up there until their boarding class is called. it's simply too tight at the actual gate to have everyone clamorous to get on the plane"
