parking my car 2 weeks in Asheville Long term was $96. I should have gone to Charlotte, parked at my friend's house and paid AA the same rate for a nicer seat and cabin leg room. a la carte pricing ran my bill up even with NO checked luggage. Asheville doesn't have a shuttle service for the long-term parking.

The flight was fine - once I was on it.

Thanks to weather (what weather?), the Friday 8 flight was canceled. My only chance to get to Cincinnati "on time" was to take a 6am two-part flight from Newark via Charlotte, arriving in Cincinnati at 1pm. All around the American Airlines section you could hear people say that flights had been canceled like this all week. I did not have time in Cincinnati to do half the things I wanted to do, and I had so little sleep on Friday night that I had to spend too much of my first Cincinnati night in bed trying to catch up with lost sleep, Thanks, American! This was to have been the head-clearing out-of-town break I sorely needed after a period of over-intense work.

Easy and efficient boarding for a busy flight. Efficient, attentive and intuitive cabin crew. Good in-flight entertainment and facilities.

The aircraft was extremely cold throughout the duration of the flight. Of all of the long haul airlines I've flown with, I find that American Airlines offers the least leg room.

We boarded on time but had to wait about 25 extra minutes because luggage went to to wrong gate for wrong plane. My luggage was not there when I arrived and the next day I still don't have it.

Our plane was defective so had to be replaced. This is fine, I certainly am willing to wait for a new plane if it means not blowing up over the ocean. The problem was how little the attendants at the gate communicated the situation to us. What should have been a brief layover became a 12 hour nightmare. The gate attendants did finally issue meal vouchers but they waited until 10 minutes before all the restaurants closed and only issued $10 a person. This is enough to buy a hot dog at an airport... We were told there wouldn't be any rescheduling of missed connections until we were "airborne". This resulted in mass panic and confusion upon reaching our destination. We were told to go to the service desk, half an airport away, but once the entire passenger contents of the plane arrived at that far flung service desk, we were mostly turned away to seek help at individual gates. This lack of communication meant I missed the next next available connecting flight and now have a further six hour layover. I understand accidents happen and planes can break down but the nearly complete lack of care and customer attention is, frankly, disappointing. I've now had nearly an entire day added to my travel time. If I'd been willing to loose that time I would have paid $600 less for my ticket. United finally offered a token of their appreciation : a $100 e-voucher. I have spent more than that on food and coffee in airports for the past two days while trying to survive until my next connections.

I was late getting to the airport. Im not from here so i endend up at st petes airport. Got to Tampa and Still had 30 minutes before departure and they wouldn't let me check in said they were almost boarded and i missed my flight. So i asked for a refund of at least some of my money and they said with the rebooking fee it would be what the ticket cost. Worst airline i have ever dealt with. I had just moved down here and the whole trip was for me to be able to visit my kids. Never again will i book a flight with this shitty airline

Its a scam! They act like they are giving you a break by having you buy cheap flights but in reality it costs more than a bit more expensive flight. I had to pay $45.00 each bag no matter if it was checked or carry-on. In total round trip I paid $180.00 extra just for my husbands carry-on as well as mine. Must add that our flights together cost 286.00. We should of went with American Airlines. On top of that we couldn't select our own seat if so, we had to pay extra, so we had to sit separated from each other. It was ridiculous! Never Again with this company!!!!!

baggage staff was super rude. She told me I am the last passenger on the plane which wasn't true. She made me pay $50 because of little overweight. I could easily redistribute the weight among my bags if she gave me little chance. I was a single mom with two kids (3 months and 3 years old) had to pay a fine which I can't afford. Thanks for giving me the chance to express my feelings.

I'm always nervous about flying and all of the delays out of Chicago were starting to make me frustrated. The staff, from the crew within the airport all the way up to the crew aboard the plane, were fantastic. Weather cannot be controlled but every staff member I encountered at O'Hare was apologetic and constantly giving updates. When the flight finally left, the pilot warned us that the winds still had not let up and that the ride would be rougher than usual. The flight attendants and crew throughout the flight apologized profusely for the out-of-the-ordinary flight and were calm and focused the entire ride, making me feel very at ease despite the bad weather.

In general, the flight was uncharacteristically rough and turbulent and I felt very anxious throughout the trip (as did several other passengers). However, United staff cannot control the weather and I feel that they all handled the situation as professionally and calmly as possible. Flight delays are never fun and O'Hare was delayed throughout the day, but staff was apologetic and ensured us it was for weather and safety. Unfortunate, but great to see how well the staff acted under circumstances I'm sure they were not thrilled with either. Keep up the great work.
