Pros: "This is always a quick flight. They usually only serve OJ and water, but the time goes by that it doesn’t matter!"

Cons: "The boarding was a nightmare. D gates at SeaTac is my least favorite since you need to be shuttled by bus to the play. At that point, your elite or first class status is thrown out the window since it's a free for all to get on board as they pack you in the bus like sardines. It delayed the departure by 30 mins. Also, Alaska should look at getting entertainment sets in the back of the headrests."

I should have looked more carefully at the seat assignments and they should have been more up front!"

Just felt it was rude. I pay for my flight. I was trying to rest on my 4 hour flight before I had to tend to daughter who had cancer, I need the rest. And for what I paid, I should be able to. Not listen to Alaska's drama within."

I checked my suitcase in as we had a 'full flight' & never got my $20 voucher. Yet there was plenty of overhead space that I saw. So that was a waste of time on both counts."

The whole time the gate agent was urging passengers to move faster through the aisle, but Delta should really rethink its boarding strategy. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to board a 757."

Also, my seat was is row 16 and was called a “premium” seat and I was charged an extra $24 for it. I did not find it any different than all the seats around me. What was the extra charge for?"

It took,me some time to convince my fellow passengers that the loss of the APU was not a safety-of-flight issue. Also, a humongous passenger waddled down to our row and wedged herself into the window seat just before the doors closed. She immediately wanted to raise the seat divider, claiming that it was uncomfortable. The middle seat passenger insisted that she wanted to have it down, correctly pointing out that she had paid for a whole space. Despite the seat divider, the obese person's body oozed over and below into the middle seat during the flight, cramming the middle passenger. These folks Need to buy a second seat..."

So, we were stuck in Atlanta airport with no good way to our final destination. Instead of waiting for 22 hours for the next available flight, or driving for 7 hours from Atlanta to Cincinnati, we had to fly into another city and drive to Cincinnati from there AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. It was a rebooking nightmare."

Cons: "American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me."

At baggage claim only half our stroller was there - they had disconnected the seat from the wheels. Luckily we spotted what looked like a similar frame to ours at the gate when we landed. It then took another forty minutes for the baggage claim office person to go through security, to the arrival gate and back to baggage claim."

It was almost always and grunt and what do you want? The personal device entertainment was very buggy. the movie I tried to watch kept skipping, like on old scratched CD."

Cons: "Change of airports from EWR-Oak to JFK/SFO after I had printed boarding passes. Got call from AA but when I picked up, no one was on the line. Equipment prob, they said. I think it was two half full planes and they screwed the EWR passengers. Manhattan was in gridlock because of UN session. I discovered change when I arrived to check luggage curbside at EWR. 3 hours of stop and go traffic to get there. See other box re kiosk problems. Boarding pass didn't have my TSA FTN so had to go back. Could not check luggage curbside. Got seat in last row when I noticed boarding pass had no seat assignment. They lost my luggage at SFO. Even though there weren't anybody awaiting in line she could not be bothered, she got rid of me and asked me to do that at the gatw. By the time the gate opened there weren't any ailel seats. The service people are trained to be rude and treat all passagers as slaves. I would not fly United if I will have a different opinion."

There were no plugs for computers in the back of the plane and I got stuck between a fat person to my left and a fat person in front of me who leaned their seat back as far as possible. Jet Blue would NEVER be neglectful, they are very service oriented. Plane was full & 2 babies on board one was fussy crying at times. It was s nightmare!! I was exhausted from traveling to NYC & Philly! & the delay & lack of service was AWFUL!! Could not watch TV, bc It either connects to phone, I could not connect it or I think you had to pay! Unheard of!!!I love to watch CNN, MSNBC & Fox it makes the time fly!! Hopefully will Never have to fly United Again"

Cons: "The temperature in the cabin was way too cold and the excuse of a blanket is really insulting to be warm enough to sleep. The video screen was tiny and grainy. Every time the PA system was used it buzzed so whatever was being said wasn't comprehend-able. The biggest complaint was the seating room. I understand that you want to get people into more legroom seats but honestly there should be a regulation for the inhumane way you treated those of us that did not ante up more! I thought I alone have these opinions but once you get me back home, you loose my business forever. I will take my Transatlantic flights every six weeks elsewhere."

Flight updates did not give me adequate time to arrange my plans to accommodate their sporadic updates for fliget 4132, resulting in me missing my flight after paying a $95 dollar cab fare. May 1, 2017 United failed in my eyes of a loyal customer."
Cons: "Flight was delayed two hours because they were waiting on an aircraft, which happens but no one to the time to explain or apologize even when asked. An apology goes a long way when you are stuck in an airport with every restaurant closing and you're hungry and tired. Definitely only flying delta or southwest from now on."

Cons: "The toilets smelled and were messy a few hours into it. (I was on a Korean Airlines flight recently and their toilets were always clean and nice!). The crew were mostly efficient and worked well together BUT only one (out of the 4 or 5 in our section) smiled at passengers and looked like she was actually enjoying her job. One blanket wasn't cleaned well enough."

When I arrived at the check in counter to see if another flight was available, the only other option would have gotten me there after 2 stopovers. I was headed to a wedding and had to make the rehearsal dinner. The woman at the Kayak counter suggested that I try to get a new flight with a different airline. I did, and transferred airports. The next day, I received a note that my entire itinerary was cancelled because i had missed one leg of my trip. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with the help desk (who were very nice, but wouldn't budge) i was unable to get anywhere. Then, I had to buy another one way flight home to make it to work the next day. I will never fly Spirit again."
