Cons: "It was a short 2.5 hr flight. Jet blue provided packaged snacks and a soft drink at no additional charge. Other airlines charge for everything. A carry on and a handbag were also allowed which others don't. The seats are leather and have more room. Seems Jet Blue is the last one of those traditional airlines giving more for your money. Thank you Jet Blue ! I am sold."

Cons: "So first thing before takeoff one flight attendant told someone to turn there music down because it could be heard outside of the headphones, but then proceeded to talk extremely loud throughout the entire flight to the other attendants. It was a 6am flight and mostly everyone was trying to sleep, but she was so loud that I gave up after trying to. If you tell someone else to be quiet because of sleeping passengers, I recommend you follow your own advice."

Cons: "We were delayed on the runway after boarding for an hour and arrived in Burbank an hour late. My screen was broken and I was unable to access any movies or tv shows. Finally, they ran out of meals early on in the flight."
Pros: "Staffs was very attentive and sweet. They made sure I was ok, provided snacks and drinks. Pilot said hello to me and my sister and we had a short chat, I felt very happy with the staffs friendliness and attentiveness."

Cons: "Once again, on this flight, I, my wife, and our 2-year-old were split up. This time, we were all placed in different rows. Way to go JetBlue! Thankfully, on this flight we had people who were decent enough to trade seats with us (probably because it was only two seats to an aisle, and therefore, no middle seats) so we could be together. Shouldn't have to do this though. PUT FAMILIES TOGETHER ON PLANES, ESPECIALLY IF THEY HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN."

Cons: "Our prior flight arrived 30 minutes late and we had to run to the opposite side of the airport. We were there before the departure time but the staff gave us a hard time saying they were going to lock the doors on us. It wasn't until the flight crew ran up behind us that they finally didn't have an attitude and said we were fine. Online entertainment didn't work, no shows, the map doesn't have a time or useful info. My row was skipped by the crew for snacks. The guy came from behind first, which I didn't see and then one the way back, he didn't even look at my row or the row in front of me."

I know part of this is TSA, but JetBlue has some pull/say in how their terminal works. This doubled my TSA wait time resulting in a 1hr 15 min wait for security. Second, the flight was 20 minutes delayed. Not the best JetBlue day."

Cons: "I purchased a first class ticket in hopes that I would have a lot more comfort during the flight. It took me quite some time to get comfortable. The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

I brought it to the flight attendants attention however she wasn't able to reset it. A 7-hour flight from NY to Zurich travelling with small children without the movies was not as pleasant as it could have been."

Agents at desk in JFK were rude. There was another Delta employee also on the shuttle who was the only one who seemed to show concern. He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

Cons: "If you are traveling with an emotional support/service animal-make sure to include the breed and approximate weight of the animal in the "additional details" on the online form you have to fill out. They don't ask those questions but then need it to process the request. Call times are 90+ mins."

Note: Spirit always accepted this same carry-on for many flights over the years, but didn't on this same trip to my location. ( This Sun Country trip was on the return flight. )"

Cons: "When I checked in on the internet, there were no economy seats available. I had to pay $15 for a "preferred" seat, which was an aisle seat on row 7, near the front of the economy section. I was told by an employee that the only economy seats were the middle seats, that aisle and window seats were preferred seats. I was told the plane was full and they could not change my "preferred" seat although I did see empty seats on the plane after takeoff. Also bathroom facilities were poor - only two in the back for the entire economy seating. And the aisles were narrow."

How was I to know that any seatback that goes up 2 inches short of vertical is bad. Am I to know the airline or FAA rules?"
Pros: "Can't really complain re: a direct flight for less than other airlines charge for a flight with layovers. Large, comfortable plane with good food. $25 for an exit row seat was worthwhile as I had 4 rows(!) to myself. Flight attendants were great."

When I chose my seat online, I was made to believe it was basically a full flight (only ~3 seats were available and they were all middle seats) so I spent $25 on an exit row seat. Once we boarded, it became apparent that there were a TON of open seats and I would have been able to get an aisle. Kind of sketchy for them to misrepresent the seating like that."

I also had to connect flights at the airport and I asked the airline beforehand if I had enough time, as I flew into a different terminal. They said that I did, but I almost missed my flight, even though I had two hours. The signage was poor as MSP, which isn't Sun Country's fault, however they made the transfer sound easier than it was."
Cons: "I was blockaded from access to the bathroom(s). The first class dragon forbade access to anyone but 1st class and the rear bathrooms were blockaded bt workers handing out drinks. Very tough on us 75+ crowd.We don't get much time from urge to crisis."

I hate flying because airline companies treat people who can't afford the over priced first class seats like cattle. Airlines are greedy. We were already working out the problem, when she took it upon herself to yell loudly at us all to make room for one person. She sheepishly explained away her actions. Horrifying. I have never felt so degraded on a plane. I can barely imagine, how she would have reacted, if any of us had approached her in the same tone and manner."

I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

AA did page me and had a representative (I think his name was Brian) waiting for me to help me get to my connection. He gave me a bright red/orange tag. I still hit some barriers. I was stopped in security and my carry on was put aside to be searched. It sat and sat . I explained to the man I had to go. He said he was working alone, so I had to wait. I was ready to leave it and just run to catch the flight, but the security man said I wasn't allowed to do that. He finally called someone else to search my bag (nothing found) I did make it...barely!"

Come to find out the flight was not full, there were whole rows not full. The groups near our seats rearranged ourselves so we could be by our family members, so it worked out. No thanks to the person at the terminal. Really long walk from the gate to the plane. No food on a cross country flight. Only a few cups of water/soda and a cookie. which unfortunately is typical now days. The lights were off the whole trip. The captain kept turning on the seat belt sign for the turbulence. Which there was a lot of. But then he would announce for everyone to go back to their seats. It wasn't huge bumps, just a little rough. and it woke everyone up by announcing it multiple times."

We sat at the gate, not knowing they had boarded, and tje plane departed unbeknownst to us. Had to stand in the rebooking line for 1.5 hours before speaking to a rep who told us we couldn't rebook our international flight. Had to request a supervisor, who thankfully after an additional hour was able ro rebook us."

The only thing I didn't like was that I'd wanted to book a return direct flight on American Airlines as well, but the price skyrocketed from a few hundred to over $2200, which is just outrageous, so I booked TAP Portugal instead. My friend paid under $600 round trip and it boggles the mind that the same flights shot up to over $2k... It's not realistic to expect customers to stay loyal to an airline that prices them out."

She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

And then when I finally do get checked in using the now kiosk only option for the plebeian class while anyone above economy gets to talk to real people (way to highlight the class divide guys) I missed my check in time by 5 minutes and was told by the kiosk to find an agent. Then I go running around looking for an agent. I find one and she says you missed your flight. I told her I still have 45 minutes to make it, and she rudely just tells me to get in another line to pay for a new ticket. LUCKILY someone in the priority line saw I was having a problem, a customer not an agent, and she told me to try to talk to someone on her side. After 3 agents told me no one finally told me yes. I made my flight but just by a hair. If the agents would have been around to help or been willing to help me from the moment I spoke to them this would not have been a problem. Thanks for almost ruining Christmas for me. When I spoke to others everyone told me they always have issues with AA. Will never fly AA again."

Once we finally got on the plane, we sat on the runway for an hour because there was some kind of TSA-related issue (awesome) and then the airport wouldn't let any planes take off inexplicably. We got to our destination 12 hours later than we were supposed to. But to make up for it, American gave us $10 food vouchers to use in the airport in the middle of the night..."

Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."
Cons: "I paid $150 extra for 2 exit row seats thinking we could use the extra room on the long flight. Unfortunately, the exit row space was cut off by and smaller than a normal row! Our legs were extremely cramped by the time we got to Rome. We had no overhead storage, which was already small, so we had to put our carry-ons multiple rows behind us -- which made exiting the plane a pain. There wasn't any personal entertainment systems, just one tv per section. The food was sub par. The crew was nice enough, but I'll NEVER take American Airlines internationally again."

The internet did not work coming back from Central America so if you don't have the entertainment app already on your phone, you couldn't watch any tv since you can't even download the app. Other airlines normally have a monitor so their customers can watch tv and not stain their eyes looking at their phone. But with United, if you don't get beat up the airline, its considered a win."

There were several canceled flights, do all the hotels were booked in the area. It was up to me to call every hotel in a 10 mile radius at midnight to find a room. I had to come out of pocket 150 dollars for the room and I missed work the following day due to my canceled flight. I was forced to stay in a hotel room with none of my clean clothes, no toiletries. I was told by a united rep, "we get off at midnight so you won't be able to get your suitcase today". All in all, it was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had. I would like some one to call or email me."
