Cons: "Well my flight got delayed four separate times. I was stuck in LAX for 3 hours. So much that booked another flight with another airline for the following morning. I had to book a hotel nearby LAX just so I could somewhere to sleep for the night. My luggage made it to Chicago safely, but I didn’t at least not with American Airlines. It took them an hour to tell us that they reassigned the pilot to another flight, not only that when it was delayed the first initial time (40 minute delay) about ten minutes before we were supposed to board they tell us that the flight attendant crew is going to take 30 minutes to get to the gate. Not only but those poor airline service staff were completely unaware of all these changes! They had to find out from the passengers what was going on. Honestly I will never fly with American Airlines ever again!!!"

I was compensated for all this mess with a $10 food voucher, and had to get a cab from the airport to the closest and cheapest hotel. My flight to Brussels was uneventful, save one rude flight attendant, and I got to school a day late."

Every step of the process involves additional charges including charges for seats, early-check-in and carry on luggage…. carry on luggage is an additional $40.00!!! Many of the other passengers felt misled and this resulted in a number of frustrated, angry and disappointed people at check-in."

Seats are half of the size of regular seats and does not recline. It was like sitting in school room chairs for 4 hours and 37 minutes on a full flight. Water is the only thing that you can have without paying. I just didn't understand what I paid for... when I also had to pay for a seat. Was it the cost of fuel on the aircraft? Trays are half of the size of regular tray... custom forms barely fit on top of it. Brace position is not going to do anything to us with those plastic seats in case of emergency."

The previous 7 times I've flown since my injury each and every airline has given me priority boarding AS WELL as priority seating with more leg room. I cannot bend my right knee enough to sit in a regular airline seat. The entire 4 hour plane ride I was in pain and had to consume more then normal pain medication to make it through the flight. It's absolutely unacceptable in 2016 to comepletely disregard persons with disabilities when it comes to flying. I plan on writing a letter to Frontier airlines, as well as any affiliated companies they work with. I will not rest until it's assured this does not happen to anyone else."

Pros: "Flight canceled because of weather. Frontier gave us options. Ability to take another airline flight to our destination and still keep our Frontier return flight."

Cons: "Seriously, it was a horrible experience. Everyone complains that they're misleading with the cost, but it really just adds up to what you pay on other lines, maybe slightly less still. BUT, so not worth it. Spend the extra money elsewhere. Terrible customer service. Seriously, there were 3 people that were nice, everyone else was flat out rude. Both on the phone and in person. And I was nice to them even though I was really upset, which was hard to do. Our first flight was delayed 8 hours for maintenance. We got a $10 food voucher and a $100 flight voucher. Not the best compensation considering the duration of our time in the airport and the cost of food, plus the fact that our flight was more than $100. We couldn't use the flight voucher on our return flight because it was already booked (even though a supervisor prior to that said we could), so that was worthless since I have no interest in flying with them ever again. I found out later that the flight voucher can at least be used for baggage and seat selection on the return flight, which no one mentioned even when I specifically asked multiple people (including a different supervisor) what it could be used for. But that didn't help me out either since... the flight back was flat out cancelled 40 mins before it was due to leave because they didn't have a crew to fly it due to weather issues elsewhere. The next flight they could get us on was two days later or 2 weeks later... We got a refund, but of course since it was such short notice then booking on another airline was far more expensive and they don't make up the difference. It seemed like Frontier runs things so tight that they don't have any backup plans for what I would assume are not wholly uncommon things, like maintenance and weather issues. And, as other people have pointed out, they were the tiniest seats I have ever seen. All I could think once we got on the plane was, "Thank God I'm not fatter or taller and thank God we weren't stuck on the plane itself!""

Cons: "It wasn't the flight although it very tight quarters. Also had to pay more for carry on baggage and also had to pay for the check in baggage therefore, I had to pay $85. more than I expected. I wanted to rent a car. I had never rented a car before. Expedia rented my car at 10 am and I didn't get to Orlando until 11 pm. They had already rented my car, so they charged for a bigger car. The ol bate and switch. I was in a pickle, so instead of paying $57. I had to pay $238. Therefore my inexpensive trip sure was very expensive."

Cons: "I arrived at 5:40 stood in line not knowing more check in machines one the other side of where the customers stood. (Had the agent focus on us instead of being on the phone). Had check in on the drive there got there and was told I need two check in prior to 40 min of my flight. I said mam it's 5 min after if You try help me I'll make it. She sent me to another line, then they sent me to another line so he could say no refunds I should have read the fine print..... KICKER TO ALL THIS I MISS MY AUNTS FUNERAL AND THAT FLIGHT WAS DELAYED ONE HOUR... if they had pretended to do some customer service I'd have made my flight and her funeral."

Cons: "Out going flight we were charged $55 for 1st carry on bag besides personal carry-on. The return flight it was announced that that item had no additional fee. Who do I contact for refund? Extra fee ate any savings and we already packed light like hobos. Tray table was too small to support my reading material (5" by 12"). Just prior to landing there was some motor/hydraulic device that made a very loud annoying noise like a kazoo drowning out sound of fussy babies/children. The sound lasted about 15-20min; even 10min after landing. As an industrial mechanic, I know what those sounds can mean and it gave me the impression the plane wasn't in good mechanical shape. We didn't know that the low cost meant that all comfort and amenities would be cut too. Our experience will be a large factor in choosing airline for future travel."

Once everyone had boarded, they made an announcement that apparently they forgot to do the required inspection over night. The entire plane had to get off the plane with their belongings. We waited another hour. Then had to reboard the plane"

($50) They don't allow a small carry on! ($100) They don't even give out complimentary water. (Only $3 bottle water) I will never fly with Spirit again, a complete trap! I fly often but hadn't used Spirit before, this was the first & last time."

Cons: "The flight left 2 hours late. The connection left 10 min before the flight arrived in Chicago. Spirit could have held the connection but didn't even try. The next flight was sold out so I had to pay for a hotel. It was entirely Spirit's fault be they took NO responsibility for it. Never fly Spirit and I will share with all my friends."

Cons: "It is so much more expensive than the other airlines - $55 for your carry on and $15 to have a seat - each way. This is adding $140 for a round trip. Customer service is very poor (ATL airport), the ladies here pick and choose who they want to be nice to. It seems that they are OK to just performing a mediocre job, probably because their standards are very low. They need a lot of training in this area. Do not recommend this experience."

Also upon landing we were delayed at the terminal for roughly 20 mins because of poor planning and that was just tiresome at that time in the morning."

I was in line for 20 minutes and watched several customers be turned away for 1 reason or another and denied from boarding with no refund and no options, then when it was my turn to get my boarding pass, they told me I had to be there 2 hours beforehand for a domestic flight to check in and just pushed me away and took the next costumer."

Paid for the extra room on with an exit row seat. If you pay for the seat, and the plane is so empty you couldve sat there anyway, it would be nive if they'd refund you (yeah, i know)."

If my bag had been lost, I would not have had a baggage receipt. The younger gate agent could have cared less when I brought this to her attention. Seats were VERY uncomfortable. Spirit charges for everything. Base price is OK but all of the add ons do not make the total amount favorable...it makes the experience irritating."
