After they called the back from rows 20 & beyond a few mins later a whole group of people came running over & got in line, then another wave of people came running over & got in line. Then they called for the rest to board but there was only about 5 people. So we ended up being the last one on."

They were nice enough to keep the cabin doors open as I finally boarded at 6:05am, making the flight. Not to mention we even arrived about a couple minutes earlier than scheduled."

Cons: "This was a redeye with 180 or so other people. The guy in front of me had his seat back all flight even when the crew said raise the seat backs for takeoff and landing. Seats were difficult to sleep in, head rest while adjustable is thin and gave no real head support, at the end of the flight my neck felt like it had whiplash. No food, on a 5+ hour flight, it was overnight, but the seat head rests made sleeping difficult."

Cons: "I'm not sure where the problem was - whether with AA or Royal Jordanian, but my luggage did not make it to Amman with me. In fact, there was a whole group of passengers traveling on American from different US cities, switching to RJ in Chicago, whose luggage did not come on the flight to Amman. My advice: be sure to pack enough for a couple of days in your carryon - and don't accept an offer to check your carryon to its final destination!"

However, I was disappointed. The food was so-so and insufficient. The drinks were also not enough. The video displays were small and poorly located for the movie. The seats seemed uncomfortable. All and all I have come to expect a better experience from American Airlines in First Class. The ticket was expensive."

Cons: "Upon boarding the aircraft, the attendant at the gate told me to check the size of my carryon bag against the test dimensions, which I did. My bag fit but I had to press the side in slightly to make it fit. She said it had to slide in without me pressing on it and proceeded to make me remove items from the bag in order to board the plane. I walked down the ramp with my extra pair of shoes and a book in my hands. As a result, I had to place my bag far from my seat due to the added time. My bag easily fit in the overhead compartment with room to spare and my being made an example was a completely pointless exercise."

When searching where to go at dallas ft.worth (DFW) airport to check in for our alaskian airlines flight the website sold us to go to terminal E 18 where they are, but when we arrived we were in fact flying out of a completely different terminal A, not having enough time to check our bags and missing the flight."

Then I was told AFTER on plane consumption of my own alcohol that this was a federal offense. Epic mess up you guys.."

In our eyes it was a total misrepresentation and we will not fly this airline again."

Cons: "For what looks like a competitive airfare consumers get up charged when it's time to get your seat assignment (ie. pay $9 or $15 or $30 MORE for a seat on the plane when it's time to check in - not disclosed when you book through Kayak of course). To be fair, there was 1 seat available for $0, it was in the last row in the middle...1 seat. I also experienced a first...getting charged $30 to bring my backpack on board as a carry-on. Airlines are now charging to put luggage in the overhead compartment. Same carry-on luggage you'd bring with you on any other airline for free, apparently not on Frontier. $30 for a backpack, wow. Apparently Frontier also claims 'we don't participate in TSA Pre-Check', meaning it's great if you have TSA Pre-check, but given Frontier doesn't 'participate' in this program even if the consumer has paid the $100 and cleared to checks to use this program (which is awesome), if you fly Frontier, you can't use it, they won't put the 'TSA Pre-Check' denotation on your boarding pass. Huh? I get companies like this shooting for operational efficiency, scaling lean, profit maximization et al, however this airline feels like a total money suck from top to bottom. 'We have snacks available for purchase'! Of course you do Frontier, of course you do."

Cons: "Gate change plane 1 1/2 hours late no one at podem to check flight before mine out and then she had to do our flight she was overwhelmed and no assistance, one passenger was taken off the plane a dog got loose inside the plane before take off during the flight we were all looking for a dog that got out of its carrier New attendants was overwhelmed and coukd not handle the angry passengers because they all wanted free drinks for the flight taking off so late. The senior attendant how to deal with angry passengers and do her job a screaming baby on the entire flight So many passengers with needs, wheelchairs and so many baby strollers took so long to board plane then passengers rushing to use the rest room so we kept waiting to take off I could go on but I won'the. If your company policy is one personal item and ever other carry on is a fee please stick to that for everyone. I Pais my fee but many other passengers had twice as much as I carried on and they never paid additional fee..."

Never have I been asked to clean the plane on account of their delay!"

Seats are cheaply made, 6" tray tables. Return flight was delayed for unexplained reasons longer than the flight time itself. First - and last - time I've flown Frontier."

Cons: "I understand the reason for all the fees and I know that's how the initial ticket prices stay cheap. But some of those fees are absolutely ridiculous. We were charged almost double the price for our checked baggage on this flight compared to the previous one because during our trip it switched to "the busy season." There was no notice of this when buying the tickets. There is also no good reason to charge more for a carry on than checked baggage. Just make it the same price if your going to charge for both. Also, the increase in price for carry on and checked baggage when checking in at the airport instead of online is massive. I drove down from the mountains where I had zero service straight to the airport. Had I pulled over somewhere on the way and checkin in before, I would have saved a ton of money on our three bags. I'm not sure if I'll ever be flying frontier again."

Cons: "Late take off, rough flight (turbulence), cramped seats with tiny tables that can't even hold a laptop, but worst of all is all of the fees that frontier has added… Undisclosed fees for carry-ons, seat selection, sodas, etc. I haven't flown frontier in a while-they used to be my favorite. Now, I will be avoiding frontier where possible."

Pros: "The price was excellent . Boarding was easy. The flight took off and landed on time."
Cons: "Seating was cramped (I am 6' tall). Online check-in was complicated."

Cons: "My luggage was checked and went on to Santa Ana. My cousin telephoned the number given on the baggage sheet in Santa Ana. She was ar the airport shortly after 11am and she waited and waited . And finally lift. My cousin called again, and was asked to return ar 4pm at the middle of heaviest traffic on the 405 Freeway. I was charged $35.00 and with all this to do I would like at my BAGGAGE CHECK MONEY REFUNDED RIGHT AWAY! $35.00. Kathy Carnes All YOUR AUXILLARY STAFF WERE WONDERFUL!!!!"

Cons: "Late arrival flight, thin, uncomfortable seats, no complimentary snacks, charged for my overhead bag."

Pros: "Nothing. Well actually the lady when I checked my bag in was really nice. It was 4 pounds over and she let me check it anyway."

Cons: "We had been on board late at night when weather canceled our flight. We were told to go to ticketing to get our refund. While in line I booked another airline on my phone. A ticket agent walked by and I asked if we could get our refund without standing in line so I could make my flight. (I still needed to fetch my baggage and get in on the next flight.) She did not know! They didn't know how to handle this weather situation."

Cons: "They canceled my flight and gave me $137 back for 2 people to fly home from Houston to Atlanta. Needless to say it cost me $450 for 2 one way tickets on American to get home. My promised Spirit fare of $292 turned into $600 with a lot of anxiety. Never flying Spirit again. They leave their passengers to fend for themselves at the last minute."

Cons: "Did not expect to pay for luggage."

Pros: "There was one lady that was really nice!"
Cons: "At the check in point the flight closed early so spirit airline crew at the check in point were incredibly rude and not helpful at all they outright refused to help me! I had to call customer service in order to arrange another flight! It was the worst experience that I have ever had with any airline ever the staff was horrible!"

Pros: "I like we got there safely and it was a smooth ride"
Cons: "What I didn't like is that one flight demonstrated the safety rules while another flight didn't. You have to print your boarding pass. The check bag price is too high. The long line and the unprofessionlism."

Cons: "By the time I paid for all the extras, it was WAY more expensive than Delta would have been. And Delta would have been on time instead of late both ways. Never again..."

Pros: "I like getting out of the airport and vowing to never fly Spirit again."
Cons: "Spirit's computer system had an "error" which marked me as a security risk. I had to go through intensive security screening TWICE. I was given a hand written ticket that was not honored at the gate stating their computer error has blocked me from flying. With this status I was unable to take my flight or rebook one. Luckily I got a full refund. Definately not worth the hassle and airport drama I will NEVER fly this airline again. I feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with such a shitty system."

Pros: "The plane was clean and smooth"
Cons: "The checkin counter had about 5 people behind the counter but they had 2 people working with each customer. So I had to wait. I get to the gate and the information is not correct on the screen. Numerous people had to ask if this was the correct gate. They made a few annoyed announcements about it because they were tired of asking questions about it. The plane was an hour and a half delayed due to them changing crews? How about come to work on time? Lastly, the flight attendants were nice but unprofessional. They were joking around and laughing through announcements, etc. I'm not a fuddy duddy and its okay to have a little fun but...I just didn't feel like they were taking it seriously at all."

Cons: "I was charged $65,00 for a bag. I was not aware that you could not take a bag on board. I spoke to several individuals, who were not charge."

Pros: "My flight was very good quiet and Peaceable. Not many passengers on board. The crew was very friendly. Above all it was a safe trip."

Cons: "Being delayed over 5 hours because your plane broke down. The staff was not empathetic or courteous, and certainly not able to handle working under pressure."

Cons: "This is the ONLY airline I have ever used that did not check to see if any missing passengers were going through checkpoints. They left about 25 of us behind because we were stuck in TSA. The flight that left later to Detroit did the same thing to their passengers. The staff was incredibly rude, if they rolled their eyes more than they did they may have fallen out of their heads. They had the attitudes of spoiled teens that were working as punishment for something. The flight itself was alright, but even the attendants were unpleasant. I ended up stuck in the airport alone for seven hours, some people were told they had to wait until the next day! I've flown many times and this is the ONLY airline I have ever seen that did such a thing. I will NEVER use them again, nor will I recommend them."

Pros: "The flight I ended up taking was quick and actually left on time"
Cons: "I had a 6 am flight. At 5 am we were told that it would be delayed until 10:30. At 8 we were told it would be delayed until 11:30. At 11:20 they announce that our plane landed and just needed to unload and get cleaned and we could start boarding shortly. Two minutes claret we were told the flight was cancelled. They told us everyone would fit on the 3:49 flight that would arrive in Orlando at 4:10. By that time I was tired of waiting and just wanted to get to Orlando so I asked to get on the flight to Tampa that was leaving at 12:15. The airline wouldn't get me a flight that was with delta that would have leaf at 6:55. They only offered a seat on one of their later flights, a refund, or a $7 meal voucher. That meal voucher wasn't even enough to cover the cost of a bagel and coffee. Also when I purchased the ticket it didn't say anything about paying for a carry-on bag. When I got to the airport I found out I had to pay $55 to take my carry-on. This was my worst flight experience."

Pros: "my flight has been canceled last three times in a row!"
Cons: "poor service"

Pros: "They overbooked the flight (by at least 20 people!!!) and closed the door very early. I got to the door 15 minutes before the departure time (because of the long lines at security at Atlanta Hartsfield airport) and the door was closed already. When I tried to rebook the flight for that same day, along with a lot of other people, the Spirit personal were rude and slow. They were not familiar with the system and took forever to find a way to re arrange the international part of my trip. Of course, when they realized how to do it, all the options for my first flight (I was stopping at Fort Lauderdale) were taken and they can't offered me any options. I ended up buying a new ticket (with another airline!!!) because I needed to be at my destination that same day. Never again in Spirit!!!"

Cons: "The delays. We had 3 different times they told us we were being delayed for some reason."

Pros: "Spirit is the worst. You pay for what you get, but we paid and for nothing"
Cons: "Our flight was canceled and we were told we could fly to our destination in two days or get a refund and rebook with another airline. I wish I would have booked with another airline to start with because it would have been cheaper. We had reservations we couldn't cancel and a two day delay is unacceptable. Save your money by booking with a legitimate airline"

Cons: "The website used to check-in for your flight is not user friendly . This airline charges $30-$40 for a bag. This company has too many hidden fees and those fees are not communicated ahead of time. Nothing is complimentary using this airline. I will never use this airline again. My experience was not good. I reached my destination, but I did not enjoy it."

Cons: "They wont even print your ticket if your not there 45mins before the flight. I paid for the ticket, give it to me and let me make a mad dash for the gate. If I still miss my flight its on me, I paid for that luxury. Such a rip-off."

Cons: "The hidden added costs, the delays on both flights, seat would not recline."

Pros: "Flight arrived early, departed early, and landed early! And the self check-in kiosk made getting my boarding pass a breeze!"

Cons: "The airline continued to delay the evening flight all day. I called and asked if the airline could accommodate me on another flight to get me to my destination but said they couldn't. They only offered to refund my money and offered it very quickly as if this happens often. After delaying the flight all the way until midnight I arrived at the airport to check in and once again see if spirit could move me to a different flight or airline. The lady at the counter laughed at me and proceeded to tell me no. The flight ended up getting canceled and the next flight I could be moved to was over 24 hours later. Needless to say I ended up taking my money back and will not be using the gracious $50 credit the airline offered me. After checking the other flight that left later the weekend it was plagued with massive delays also. Not sure how this airline stays in business."

Cons: "My son arrived 40 minutes prior to his flight time yet he was denied boarding. Why, because for some absolutely ridiculous reason Spirit boards 45 minutes prior to take off. Even more ridiculous there was not another flight from the Major hub of Atlanta to another Major city, Detroit til the next day. This nonsense is what began my son's Spring Break. I'm hurt and very disappointed"

Cons: "Needs more handicap assistance"

Pros: "There wasn't anything to like. The flight was cancelled and the gate agent disappeared. She said call or go to ticketing, back in the terminal."
Cons: "They refused to put me on a flight that would get me to my destination the same day. I was on a 5:30 pm flight and there were literally dozens of available flights. I finally got a refund on the Spirit flight and paid an exorbitant amount of money to purchase a last minute flight on a good airline. That new flight I bought had 21 people on board the flight but Spirit claimed there were no seats available. Good bye Spirit."

Pros: "I liked the price cheap. Especially as I was travelling with no baggage."
Cons: "We were notified the flight was delayed for 2 hours when we were supposed to be boarding. Then an hour and half later were informed that the flight was completely cancelled. All passengers were told to visit the ticketing window for more information. Once there, we were all given a number to call on a little piece of paper where we had to beg an Indian to get us on a comparable flight that night or the following morning. She was only trying to give me ATL to NORTH CAROLINA to Baltimore or ATL to Orlando to Baltimore. Which doesn't make sense at all. Finally after asking multiple times she was able to "find" me in her database a flight leaving at 7:30 am. There's more to this but I don't feel like typing it all out. No food or hotel vouchers from anyone. Sucks because I was having a bad weekend with a family emergency. Had no money on me and hadn't eaten. I could've definitely made it had I been able to get on the flight I paid for with the last bit of money I had on me. Greyhound was 3 times cheaper and may have been faster. Bad experience. At least a food voucher and hotel accommodations would have been nice. You get what you pay for I guess! I'm just happy someone from my church ministry was able to come gete from the airport so I could eat and sleep on an actual bed. I'm not from this city and do not know anyone. Not OK. Beware of Spirit Airlines."

Next time I know that by the time I buy a few basic 'frills' to reach the standard of any other airline's service, I might just as well fly another airline. Which I will."
