The time spent was around 6 hours....4 of them the were on one continuous phone call where we were bumped back and forth between West Jet and Delta. The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!"

(I understand I have to collect it on arrival into another country and then take to a bag drop) but with the same airline they claim they can't do this? I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. We tried then at check in and told they have no idea how to do this as only so many seats are allocated to Delta tickets and they can't access the Delta system?? So very frustrating and we could never upgrade?"

The first class cabin crew on our side of the plane was inattentive, though it appeared on the other half of the plane the crew was very attentive. This is one of the poorer first class seats in the industry. The "lie flat" seat is just that, a lie. It is pitched at an angle, though not as steep as some. Foot cubby is narrow and constrictive, bordering on claustrophobic."

I kindly asked the flight attendant if I can take empty seat across the aisle from me and was told no without a reason. I thought we were doing social distance ,but apparently not. As for there earlier claim of no 3 seats available next to each other .. it was obviously a lie because the seats just across from me where empty. I hope not to fly on American Airlines again."

The seat width and pitch was sad compared to 'low cost' airlines like JetBlue."

It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Multiple employees lied/gave misinformation, adding heavily to the feeling that Frontier cares little about customer service. Terrible experience!!"

Same goes with any competitor. I will never fly Frontier again."

In my travel I unfortunately had car trouble with my rental in which I ended up stuck in a sand pit and had to be towed out. Well I knew I would be missing my flight. When I called to change it I was charged $99 for changing my flight. Ok well next day comes around and I wasnt able to make it to the flight because I was falling asleep on the road and decided my personal safety was better than making the flight. Again withing a 10 hour period I called to reschedule my flight and again they wanted to charge me $115 this time because I had to change airports withing the same DC area. on my way from new mexico to colorado (driving) I got into a major car accident involving a semi in the desert on a high way and ended p with no car in TAOS New Mexico... when I called to again rebook my flight I was at the end of my patience I honestly had felt that the universe was conspiring against me keeping me in NM. I This time though I requested to speak to a supervisor and sure enough he was able to help me with out any extra charge to get my flight booked. The level of satisfactory customer service shouldnt be reserved until the customer is pissed off. nothing was more infuriating then to have outsourced customer service from india telling 99 99 99 99 99 and that he cant do anything about it.... If Frontier wants a better review then they need to stop cutting corners I will never fly with them again ....they are a knotch below Aeromexico in horrible customer service. _rene Vincit"
Pros: "No frills.... Flight was on time, baggage arrived, flight staff ok (marketing of frontier credit card in flight to captive audience is bad form), baggage add on and having to pay for an assigned seat sucks, was glad to have a direct flight.. Even with add on costs, flight cost was better than major carriers for nonstop."
Cons: "They will give you a seat if you don't pay for an assigned seat...if nobody pays for the top dollar seat you might get one of those... Or you could get a middle seat between two young children... Do you like to play?"

Cons: "I'm glad that I arrived safely because that is the one thing I can appreciate. The cheap fares equal the quality of the plane. Only 4 rows of 30 have reclining seats. It would be a stretch to say the seats are padded. The clientele is cheaper than the fare with lots of crying babes and impolite guests running to the door as the plane arrives to the gate."
