I ran in circles trying to retrieve my phone and I got very poor assistance. I had to be deboarded an boarded again and barely made my flight. I was misinformed several times and ran around the airport with my hand luggage like a chicken without a head. Why wasn’t it brought to my gate? They had my info."

Cons: "The flight was delayed well over an hour. I was unable to check in the night before. I was finally able to check in online the afternoon of the flight, but no seats were left, so had a boarding pass with no seat assignment. Got to the gate and they sent me and about 25 other folks with no seat assignment to wait for a "colleague" who finally appeared after almost everyone else had boarded. I did get a seat, but I was one of the last to board. They ran out of salmon dinners, so the stewardess plopped a chicken dish in front of me--didn't eat since I am vegetarian. The stewardess did give me a free mini bottle of wine, which is normally free on Lufthansa. I am just not all that impressed with SAS. I will try to avoid them in the future."

Cons: "During online check in and through the website, I was informed that I would be able to have one free checked bag. I was never prompted that I would have to pay additional. However, when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I had to pay an additional $75 to check my bag in even though my boarding pass stated I was able to check in one bag. I was then pushed back and forth through the airport to complete this process. I would have liked to be given warning if I had to pay any additional costs."

Cons: "The crew forgot to start serving the final meal until 40 minutes before we landed which resulted in them nearly throwing food at people so that they could quickly get through the plane and sit again before descent. I was not able to choose my seat and was seated in the back of the plane. Consequently this meant that every parent on the plane with two-year-olds decided that the best place to let them stretch their little legs was back by me. I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."

Cons: "I was sitting next to a girl who was not part of my family who got airsick 3 times on the flight. The first time I told the airline attendant and she brought a large plastic bag and some paper towels. The girl but her used airsick bag inside the large plastic bag. I tied the top and put in next to me near the aisle because I expected the attendant to come pick it up. The attendant told me I had to take it to the lavatory and dispose of it in there. It was very hard to get the large plastic bag into the small trash receptacle because it had fill with air. I asked the attendant for another airsick bag but she never brought it. The girl got sick again and she used my airsick bag. While walking the bag up to the lavatory, I asked a different attendant for another airsick bag. They just told me I had to dispose of it in the lavatory and never brought another airsick bag. I had to ask someone for their airsick bag because the girl got sick a third time. I can not believe the horrible service on this flight! The poor girl was crying because she felt so sick and there wasn't anyone to help her. I did what I could but I felt something could have been done by the crew. I will think twice before I reserve another flight on SAS."

Cons: "The meals were mediocre and should be up to the standard of the rest of SAS service. The selection of movies could have been wider. They do help pass the time."

Cons: "I was sitting next to a special needs man and the crew was extremely unhelpful towards him. He should not have been flying alone and they did not help him at all. When you handed out the customs form he told the stewardess he needed help and she ignored him. When I pressed the call button for him it took someone 35minutes to come back and then she told him she would help him after dinner. I pressed a call button the second time to help him find something and again it took over 30 minutes for someone to come back to us. If there was a real emergency this delay would have been a huge problem. The stewardess was extremely rude in general."

Cons: "Didn't even know there was a ticket of this type. It was a good price, but when I went to check in on the return flight I was charged ~ $95 for a luggage item. Not a bad trick. On the other hand, not very nice either. They also didn't allow to take the guitar on-board due to a short & full flight saying the above part was too small. When I got on however, there was clearly room there. It could have been human error, but still disappointing nonetheless. They said there would be no track so it should safe, which it was, but it was left out in the rain for a minute or two so the soft case was somewhat wet. I don't think any permanent damage occurred."

Gate agents were on their phone inconvenienced by my question. Turns out there were many empty premium seats that we would have bought that remained empty on the flight."

Cons: "Reykjavik terminal is too small and was a mad house, with too many people and not enough seating. No clear instructions re: boarding. Everyone stood in line for a long time as no one knew what to do, and there was no waiting area or seating. No free food or alcoholic drinks on an international flight."

Cons: "1- Boarding was difficult. Embarking in Reykjavik was in gate D3 . We have to walk and climb stairs with our carry on. Once we got to the ramp level we noticed that gate C23 was at same level of the boarding ramp. Why to make elderly people climb stairs with loads? 2- 5 to 6 hours of flight and this cheap airline only offers a little cup of water, coffee, soda or juice (once from Dulles to Reykjavik, twice from Reykjavik to Dulles). Otherwise you have to pay above reasonable price for cold plates. Icelandeair is a Cheap airline not to the level of a nation like Iceland or not to the level 0of any other Latin American, Asian or some of the European airlines that offer a decent snack in flights of 5 or more hours."

Crew were courteous and drinks were offered twice. Like the water offered as you board as well."

I might have watched a movie if I'd known to bring my own head set. Wasn't up for buying one, which was the alternative. Couldn't listen to music either. But I read a lot and dozed."

Very confusing at AMS where I should go, please provide better signage for Iceland Air where check-in resides. Flight was delayed in taking off with no communication for reason why, and my connection was close enough to next flight that I nearly missed the flight. No complimentary snacks offered."

Pros: "The staff are nice enough and in Amsterdam, were efficient getting us on the plane. They did board by zones, which was something not evident when I changed planes in Reykjavik. That was total chaos and makes me question if I ever want to fly this airline again."
Cons: "No food, not even a little snack even on longer hauls. No foot rests, average seats. They come through the cabin with this annoying cart full of Icelandic souvenirs and other products."

I ordered the snack of hummus for around 4 euro and when my card was charged at a price in Icelandic dollars that seemed too high.. I questioned the price and she was very rude and said it was in Icelandic to compare it to the menu and she continued to run my card. When she left I figured out she had given The wrong thing that was 10 euro! What a waste of money! I was also moved from the front of the plane to the back when boarding."

Cons: "Boarded late. Rudest desk agent of all time- she had the nastiest attitude and was rolling her eyes at our requests. I was so surprised anyone with this position could act in such a manner. It was also very difficult to communicate with her- I am not sure why she was put in that position when the line for check in was extremely long. She was taking her sweet time, almost purposely trying to annoy people. People were complaining because of the wait time, people needed to drop off their bags/get their seats, etc. This lady was so unprofessional I wouldn't have minded waiting until the next day to catch my flight back so a different employee could accommodate me."

Cons: "The seats are so incredibly small for a long haul flight. Two people must compete for shoulder space, as there simply isn't enough room for both to sit back completely. Constant elbow issues and a feeling of being locked into a small space. I've never been so happy to exit from a flight. Note that on the JFK-BUD-JFK route, LOT subcontracts to a low-cost Portuguese airline, so this plane isn't configured for a trans-Atlantic flight, at least not for a minimal level of comfort. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."

Pros: "I have been flying with them for the past 16 years(economy seats), and I have to say that their service,and comfort of overnight flights have improved tremendously! Partially due to the fact that they have 787 Dreamliners now, in which the seats are wider and are reclining more than before, the leg room is bigger, the air quality better. The crew members are very professional,not overly sweet,yet caring and understanding,especially when you are flying with small children.As to those complaining about overcharged luggage- read the rules people! If you go over the maximum limit of 50lb for a check in, let's say 2lb,they won't charge you,but don't expect them to close their eyes when your luggage weighs almost double that!"

When we got another 2nd flight, we arrived at our final destination without our bags. LOT assured us that our bags were on our flight before we boarded but calling and confirming that they were able to transfer our bags (only had 40 minutes between flights), but of course, it was a complete lie. We did not get our bag until the next day in the evening over 24 hours later. At that point I was happy they found them and gave them to us. 3. Turns out, they cancel flights pretty often and they also book people on transfer flights that are too close for people to make it. We traveled with a handful of other passengers that had the same experience and people were in tears about their horrible travel experience. 4. Warsaw Airport - they only have 5 passport control officers clearing travelers and because they don;t have lines or any type of organization of these travelers, the lines our out of control. People are pushing each other, crying because they are missing flights or not feeling well because of no air and all the pushing and shoving. I was pregnant standing in the line for over 40 minutes. They would not let pregnant passengers or passengers with kids with them pass in their disabled line. Only people in the wheelchairs were allowed to pass there. Horrible airport and even more horrible airline! PLEASE SPARE YOURSELF AND DO NOT RUIN YOUR VACATION."

During boarding there were groups of people who had all been split up and were desperately trying to switch seats with others. I was traveling with a 15 year old, and even though she is not a small child it was very nerve wrecking to be seated 20 rows behind her, not being able to keep an eye on her (even more so because she gets car sick and has thrown up on airplanes before). I don't think I've ever flown where my group was not at least seated in pairs. This was very disappointing."

The plane finally arrived to JFK way after 1 a.m., which completely ruined weekend work and social plans, not to mention how exhausting and disrespectful of an experience it was. PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY SINGLE OF THE FOUR LOT FLIGHTS I'D UNDERTAKEN THAT WEEK WERE DELAYED IN A SIMILAR FASHION - AS IN, WITH LITTLE INFO OR EXCUSE. No, thanks, Lot - and you should refund us all."

One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."

Pros: "The friendly, professional and always willing to help and device staff. The tasty food and snacks. There was always a member of the staff visible so it was easy to get water during the 10 hour flight. Or you can go and see them into their resting area and they were willing to help."
Cons: "I tried to paid for an upgrade but the ground staff wasn't very accommodating, she just said no."

Pros: "The crew was AMAZING"

Pros: "I got a connection in Madrid to my destination, but the previous flight was delayed about 30 minutes. I got in the airport about 15 min before the gate closed. The gate that i arrived to my connection flight was around 26 min away. I have a condition on my leg and i cannot run, so i walked really fast through the airport and I was so happy to see that they were waiting for my delayed flight... which is very unusual. Thank you!!!!"

Pros: "Upon boarding the flight attendant looked at my seat # and directed to to the correct side of the aircraft. I found this to be very helpful, since on the trip over I was in the wrong side had to bother people to move so I could get to the correct side of the aircraft. Travel can be very stressful, this made boarding quicker and easier."

Pros: "good inflight entertainment selection"
Cons: "preregistered for a designated aisle seat that was confirmed. However I was assigned a middle seat in between two big passenger. Flight was late for arrival due to weather, but we were informed of that only after takeoff despite the fact that they knew it hours before departure."

Cons: "Seats were next to the bathroom in the middle of the plane and passengers have no regard for your comfort. They lean on your seats, leave the stinky bathroom door open constantly-causing me to get up and close it at least 4 times during a 9.5 hour flight."

Pros: "I booked a trans-Atlantic flight through Kayak. Flight out of US was direct from Tampa to Gatwick. Return flight was Direct from Madrid to Miami and 4 hour layover in Miami to Tampa. The booking was advertised as a British Airlines flight, although operated by Iberia and American on the return. I found the comfort of the accommodations, food, and service in business class to be on par with, or better than, competitors'. We especially liked the entertainment/communication system built into every cubicle - good sound, lots of good movies and shows, and great screen quality. The multicourse meals had good options and were fresh tasting."
Cons: "The Madrid leg of the journey, operated by Iberian Air on route 6231, destroyed the goodwill earned by British Airlines. Iberian Air delayed our departure from Madrid for technical difficulties, which I understand is the risk in air travel. When Iberian Air finally cancelled flight 6231 it became obvious we would miss our connection flight home in US. I began contacting the airlines for rescheduling/reimbursement requests. British Air sent me to a customer service line which rang busy for 4 hours straight. Iberian said they were sorry for the inconvenience but they could get us a free snack at the snack bar and book us on the next connecting flight in Miami (which was 45 minutes after the flight we had missed. It didn't matter that customs procedures in US would likely overlap that leg as well. American Airlines (the operating partner in the US) advised that either Iberian or British Air would have to reimburse for a new flight. I ended up just renting a car in Miami and driving the 300 miles back to Tampa, after 24 hours of air travel and missing both the connections. The upside is that Kayak was prompt in sending electronic updates from the airlines notifying of the delayed flight time/need for new seats/flight cancellation. Iberian Airlines never even changed its online flight status for the original flight which it cancelled."

Pros: "The staff were helpful and approachable."
Cons: "The space available for a nine hours flight is poor. There were not enough entertainment."

Pros: "The team in both Rome and Madrid to went above and beyond. They were polite and empathetic to our situation, which was not Iberias fault. And they went out of their way to get us home on time. They always stayed positive. My family of 6 really appreciated. They have earned our loyalty."

Cons: "Seats do not recline. Not even water was offered."

Pros: "Staff was friendly and corteous. Out of three times I was flown with Iberia I can honestly said the service has improved tremendously. The crew members were polite and always ready to accommodate to your needs."

Pros: "The quality of the service from the crew was superb. It was comfortable, relaxing and the food was delicious."
