Pros: "While flying to Portland from Maui, our next flight was cancelled. No one notified us of this while on the plane or as we exited the plane. My mom found out while I was in the bathroom. She talked to the person at the gate we had just arrived at. She told us we were rerouted to a better flight and told us to go to a specific gate. When we arrived at the gate, Rainy (your employee) explained the situation again calmly, printed our boarding passes, told us we had an hour to catch a bite and worked on seating us together on the plane (I am traveling with a child). When we came back to the gate to board, she had taken care of our seating issue and was very nice. If you are going to cancel a flight on a customer, this is exactly how it should be handled. Better flight, better time, calm and helpful staff. This was the most enjoyable flight of our trip. Nice size plane and great staff. Just maybe need to notify the on board stewardess, she doesn't need to project or yell to be heard for the courtesy of those who have been traveling all night."

I was getting it until the airline assistant decided to have a very loud, very long conversation with a passenger. I could barely hear the passenger, but the employee was speaking as if on stage at an ampitheater! I know where she use to work, how she became a stewardess, how many cities she has worked from, how many days she has off, and again how many cities she has been to, AT VERY LOUD LEVELS!"

Cons: "The crew was not very good at updating the worried customers about their connecting flight status considering that there was a 55 minute delay. I was the last person to board and I made it to the gate in the nick of time. It was really stressful. On my way to PDX I used SW and I had a connecting flight in Denver. However the pilot was very good about giving us an update and assuring that we will get there on time. I felt reassured that SW cared for its passengers and was trying to alleviate our stress."
Pros: "I have become a major fan of Alaska Airlines. Check In is so easy, the attendants are friendly, the food is worth purchasing (although a bit too spicy for me), the choices of flight times is impressive. I have flown with Alaska three times in the past year and every flight was booked solid. Must be lots of others who feel the same way I do."

Pros: "Our ticket handler at Alaska Airlines ( Sep 21- SMF Airport) was the most helpful and patient person we have ever encountered! The tickets we had purchased through Kayak were charged but not booked. Juan did everything in his power to get us on that flight. And when the kayak company failed to book in time Juan got us on the next available flight, being to sure to find us the best price and a direct flight, versus the one we had booked earlier. Over all Alaska Airlines will be the standard my future experiences will be based off of if I am unable to travel through them"

We had to put our carryons in the back then when we landed we had to let eveyone off the plane so we could go to the back to get our bags. We asked if they would check our carryons and we were told no. As people were getting off many had two or more bags each."

It really made me not want to book Hawaiian Airlines in the future. I wamted to sleep and couldn't. Also there must have been 4 or 5 crying, screaming and waiking babies. Crew staff did nothing. The airline should put some protocols in llace to deal with this major nuisance. A cone of silence-- make these moms have to be locked into a cone with their screaming children where I don't have to listen to it. something needs to be done. Hands down the WORST flight experience of my life. And inhabe traveled a lot."

Cons: "The email I received said to go to Terminal 1. When I got there the the attendant said this is a common confusion and that Hawaiian Airlines is actually in the International Terminal. This was unmarked and I was 5 minutes late to the 45 minute cut off for check-in. I am on standby for the same flight tomorrow, but now I have to get their 2.5hrs before the flight. Hopefully everything works out. *As a note for the future, maybe you can add a serif font to the itinerary email so that terminal names are not misprinted. Also a guide of where that terminal is, and whether or not it is an international terminal*"
Pros: "When I arrived at the ticket counter, the agent informed me that I wasn't on the flight because my reservation was for the flight a week later. This turned out to be true - I had goofed it up. But they let me move my reservations from SFO to Kahului and Kahului to Lihue without any fare change and without any change penalty! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Hawaiian Airlines!!! You saved my vacation!!! Also, in flight they served me an egg sandwich for breakfast, and offered me a second - both free of charge!"

Cons: "This was an almost 6 hour long flight, LAX to OGG. The aircraft was older and for a 6 hour flight, they really should use a bigger and newer aircraft. The entertainment systems on the back of the seat worked sporadically and the PA system was too loud and every time the PA system was used while we had our headsets on, it was excruciating We had no warning in order to remove our headsets before it blasted into our ears. We were amazed that after paying a considerable sum for our tickets and being in the air for 6 hours, there was limited meal service and we were required to purchase a sandwich in order to eat. I fly Delta frequently and this was by far the worse flight I can remember."

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

She had about half of the First Class cabin offended as soon as meals started getting served - I didn't see ANYONE around me that got what they asked for, and then when people stated the issue, she didn't respond very well. I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

Cons: "I chose my seats when I purchased tickets thru Expedia. Then for some reason Delta wouldn't allow me to keep my seats and I had to have them assigned at boarding. Why? What causes this? I was stuck in the back of the small jet from Minneapolis to Cwa when there were a few open seats in the middle. Disappointed. I won't be choosing Delta in the future!"
Pros: "I trusted Delta to take of my clients; Delta usually did. Rather, the employees of Delta did. Now when I travel, I prefer Delta (when they aren't too much more economically). Let me change that to I used to prefer Delta, because the times, they are achanging. My home airport is Atlanta, I'm usually traveling to Seattle or Portland; Delta is king in those routes. There's more flight time options, and the entertainment available is better."
Cons: "Here's where the picky comes in. I downloaded the 'Go Go" wifi app beforehand. When I tried to connect I received a message that it wasn't available on my routes. Why couldn't they tell me that it might not work on my routes before they took my money? Further, why wasn't it available? It's not like I was going on a multi city/country trip, this was Atlanta to Portland non-stop. Then there's the 'Premier Seating". I opted for it on my outbound flight and received TSA Pre Check. I didn't buy the seating coming back; I did not receive TSA Pre Check. Coincidence? My fare was more than Alaska Airlines was offering it for, I paid for the wifi that didn't work, and in order to avoid the back of the plane, you must pay. So, I guess I'll be going to Alaska Airlines. They don't have as many flights, but I don't feel dinged for more money every time I turn around."

I had a child poking the screen playing the game for 3 hours and everytime they poked the screen it moved my head as if she was just hitting the back of the steat. PE seats really don't offer that much more room and the seat on the 757-200 vs 9 was AWFUL! My tailbone hurts 24 his later."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

Cons: "We were not able to print our boarding passes the day before as expected per the website and purchase docs for the tickets, despite providing passport numbers (several times) and Global Entry registrations. Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."
Cons: "They wouldn't allow me to check my bag at the main gate so I had to go through security and check it at the boarding gate. Souvenirs were confiscated because the bag couldn't be check sooner. Then they tagged my bag with the wrong name and destination. It was 48 hours later before I got my bag."
Pros: "The crew is caring and attentive. AA is upgrading all their planes and the individual monitors so you can watch and/or listen to any entertainment you wants. Plane left on time and arrive early, making transfer less stressful."

So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."

Pros: "The flight from the Denver leg to Des Moines was great. The crew was exceptionally friendly, especially the stewardess. I really loved taking the smaller plane into Des Moines. It made the boarding and deboarding go very quickly. In the future when traveling to destinations outside of a major hub, I will look for flights with smaller planes. It was an incredibly pleasant flight experience."

I'm not exaggerating when I say that he was by far the best flight attendant on any flight I've ever been on. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he's an older white male who was wearing a BB8 watch. Absolutely delightful!"

Entertainment got a mediocre rating simply because I didn't indulge. I might have been tempted more if I could have seen a price somewhere for the entertainment. I was very hesitant to just start swiping without knowing what I was getting myself in to."

Being a chef, I would never give poor quality customer service as he did. My flight attendants from DEN to TYS was much more personable and made the flight much more enjoyable."

The gate agent messed up out seat assignments and put 2 of us in the same seat and then a airline attendant on the plane was so rude and condescending to the few of us on the plane about the seat confusion that again was not the passengers fault but United. I am trying to track down her name to file a formal complaint. She made a remark that was disrespectful to people not being able to "read" correctly, she was very rude. Also on our return flight it is not showing our seat assignments. Very poor experience with United. I will go back to Alaska and SW airlines before choosing them again."
