Pros: The entire crew was hospitable & accommodating; I was very pleased with all of the flight crew!

Cons: My disappointment regarding my flight experience had nothing to do with the flight crew I met/seen/corresponded with; I was unhappy & displeased to pick up my new luggage with the top zippered broke off & missing.

Cons: I was placed on an earlier flight as soon as I arrived at the Portland airport. The flight was full, there was no room for my bag in the overhead bins. The bag was checked, not to just Seattle but all the way to Venice. Well, surprise, surprise, the bag was lost on the way to Venice. KLM does not allow enough time in Amsterdam for luggage to make a connecting flight.

Pros: Getting to the correct destination.

Cons: The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father.

Pros: We arrived early. Flight path was over downtown Seattle at night--beautiful.

Cons: Plane was not crowded, but passengers were crammed into the front and back of the plane for safety. I booked seat 5C and was reassigned seat 19E--last row on the right. No food or entertainment which is fine on an hour flight.

Pros: Rhe Alaskan staff was fabulous. They helped reschedule flights and connecting flights to get their customers as close as they could to get them to their final destinations on time. They showed patience and were extremely courteous.

Cons: My flight was so delayed that I missed my doctor appointment for a pancreatic transplant. The smoke po ut of Canada got SeaTac so backed up that many flights were either sever ew ly delayed or cancelled altogether. I feel like I wasted not only my own but this world renowned doctor's time too. I wish the airline would have put out a warning hours before the flight's original departure.

Cons: Despite no welcome, acknowledgment or greeting from the flight attendant, as he was focused on his phone, he was friendly during the flight. Very loud flight. And of course, the amount of space we are squished into is obscene, almost criminal.

Pros: Great staff on and off the flight, punctuality of the flight and being kept informed during the flight of status. My family and I are extremely impressed with Spirit, it makes me want to fly more often.

Cons: The taxiing on the runway to get to the terminal, but understand that is out of your hands.

Cons: The gate agent at JFK was annoying. She forced us to check carry on bags for no apparent reason. Much larger carry on’s were allowed both before and after us. Her fellow agent seemed like she wanted to apologize for her capricious behavior, but was understandably hesitant to do so. The airplane seating was cramped and uncomfortable. The rntertainment choices were very limited unless you enjoy superhero movies or a very limited range of audio/musical selections. So it goes in coach class.

Cons: Our plane was 2 hours late from San Francisco and we missed our flight to Columbia.

Pros: Very friendly crew that empathized with the plight of the passengers on board. The poor experiences throughout the journey could have been avoided if United changed it's policies and processes to become more customer focused.

Cons: So many small things add up to an overall poor experience on a flight, and it doesn't seem like United understands this. 1) WiFI was down. 2) Entertainment screens for several of the passengers on board were not working. The poor lady next to me had a broken screen, and combined with the broken WiFi, she literally just sat in her seat looking forward for several hours (after she finished the podcasts on her phone). 3) For a 5-6 hour flight, food (more than just snacks) were available for only about half the passengers on board. Apparently its an intentional policy of United to only have food available for a portion of the passengers. It wasn't even possible to purchase it if I wanted to because by the time the crew got to me, they were all out. 4) Baggage space under the seat varies wildly depending on your seat. For some reason, the aisle seat has the smallest space I have ever seen in my life (about the size of a shoe box). It was the first flight I have ever been on where I was literally not able to fit a small backpack underneath my seat.

Pros: United Terminal in Chicago had limited seating and dining options. Flight was overbooked, but boarded quickly.

Cons: Baggage claim at IAH took 45 minutes. Incorrect claim area was indicated for first 25 minutes, with over 200 people crowded around 1 claim area with 12 others open. Finally switched and bags took another 20 minutes. Baggage claim always takes over 30 minutes at this airport. Subway is rickety and outdated.

Cons: Late arrival of aircraft. Mechanical problems with navigation able to get through that but took off one hour late. The usual.

Pros: Because of the gov’t shutdown I arrived early fearing the worst of delays and to my delight there was ez pz entry into the airport getting through security was relatively easy and although there is no longer curbside check in it was not crowded few long lines and once I mastered the kiosk .. got my boarding pass and tag for a checked bag .... ez and no long line

Cons: I don’t like the fact that Jet Blue has nobody to help with getting your boarding pass and bag tags .. for seniors like myself who sometimes need digital Aylin .. no Personnel to help and if itvwasn’t For a delightful savvy young woman whom I asked for help I’d still be at that kiosk when I travelled Alaska sirlinescthey had people there to assist you

Cons: at last minute itinerary was changed.. instead of routing through Brisbane, was now routed through Sydney. Flight from Sydney to LAX was delayed by 4 hours, then missed flight LAX to LAS... overall long delayed arrival. Checked the route through Brisbane, and those flights we're all there, departed and landed all on-time... so wondering what the reason was for the change of the itinerary without a cause (no cancel or delayed flights through Brisbane)

After boarding we were delayed yet again due to some passengers standing around while the flight attendants scurry around to find them a seat. I don’t understand how this could happen since seats are assigned. The we pull into DTW and we taxi around like shoppers at the mall on Black Friday.
