Cons: More of the same. Because of all the initial buffonery when we get to the gate for the connecting flight they us that my wife didnt have a seat and the flight was full.

Pros: Mi nombre es Pamela Huete me gusto mucho la atención ,los precios,y los vuelos a tiempo buena eficacia me encantaría que hubiera vuelos directos .

Pros: Space in the aircraft from MCO to Panamá
Cons: To be lied to mos of all, to be delayed, to feel manipulated and that communication from crew to guests and between airports is the worst! Least efficient company after AmericanAirlines

Pros: Overall is a good experience
Cons: Old airplane

Pros: Airplane crew was friendly. The flight departed on time.
Cons: We traveled with an infant who sat on our laps. We were never asked about the infant traveling until we went to check in at the desk and were told we needed to pay taxes for the baby at a rate of 10% of the cost of the ticket. But because we were doing it on the day of the flight, 10% was almost $200! We did not receive good customer service from staff, who simply told us we "should have known to investigate this." We have never been asked to do this when flying with a baby before! This was after an hour and a half of already waiting to check in our bags. We were waiting so long and dealing with this issue for so long that we almost missed the flight! A terrible experience. Also, the web check in line took even longer than the line of people who had not checked in online beforehand! It was so slow, it added to us almost missing our flight. It was a waste of time to check in online, especially since they gave us new boarding passes when we checked our bags in anyway. We also had trouble finding both of our reservations, even though we booked them together as a family, so we ended up with seats that were not together. When we had an issue, we were given an attitude by the staff checking us in.

Pros: Baggage policy for copa, food service
Cons: Only flying into Panama then Guatemala. Would have landed in Guatemala then Panama

Pros: The seats were better than the last flight
Cons: Improve entertainment

Pros: I liked the snacks and drinks provided on each flight. It was very organized and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. This commodity was better than other airlines I have used.
Cons: You get what you pay for-less leg room and 1 screen per 3 rows.

Pros: Entertainment system was free and one of the best i have tried on planes. Food and beverages was aceptable. Flight on time.
Cons: Everything was good

Pros: Flight crew and service
Cons: Nothing

Pros: the plane and the service
Cons: the airport don't have a good court

Pros: Short flight, nice snack.
Cons: None

Pros: The temperature was awfully warm. I sweated the whole flight while a baby across the aisle from me screamed the entire time. I understand the airline can’t keep babies from crying but the AC should work. On a positive note the flight arrived early.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: My connection flight arrive extremelly far from the bogot flight gate, there was no onborad entertainment, some of the crew were rude to other passengers, poor comfort I wouldnt recommend copa to anyone

Cons: They failed to assist my wife who needed wheel chair assistants. They didn't help her at all upon landing and debarking the plane. Left her by herself.

Pros: Excelente !10.0 un placer viajar con Copa

Pros: Service and on time.
Cons: Service and being on tine.

Pros: Crew was friendly
Cons: Long delay living PTY

Pros: it was nice to actually get a meal. that doesnt happen in the us anymore. i was able to check a bag without a ridiculous $50 charge. the first time i had checked in years and it was very convenient. reminded me of how flying used to be before they all became buses in the sky, and for a very reasonable price. the staff were all very friendly from the gate agent to the flight attendants. also, a free drink is a lovely touch. would definitely fly this airline again.
Cons: i had no problems honestly. my most pleasant flightin a while and i fly frequently

Cons: Crew member gave me a hard time for requesting the special meal I had reserved before even checking to see if I had one reserved. I did have a special meal reserved and on board. When the stewardess delivered the meal, she did not have even a smile, much less an apology. Find a job where you needn't interact with paying clients!

Pros: Food was good
Cons: Friendly crew

Pros: x
Cons: x

Pros: Smooth Flight great drinks and food

Cons: On my return flight home, they wouldn't accommodate adjusting my itinerary because I wasn't feeling well. I was willing to pay change fee for 1 layover instead of the 2 layovers on my original itinerary. They wanted to charge me $700 which was greater than my original ticket. So I flew on the original itinerary at started my travels @ 7am on Monday. Flight from Bogotá to Barranquilla w/Avianca airlines was great. In Barranquilla I had a 4 hr layover, checked in w/Copa agent and he said my bag was on plane. In Panama, there was a 1.5 hr layover so I assumed no issues getting my luggage to the correct connection. The flight from Panama was delayed by 40 mins w/no explanation. We just sat on plane. They only played one older movie, plane was old and they did 1 beverage service w/meal for a 5.5 hour flight. I finally arrived back to ORD @ 12:15 am Tuesday. I waited for my luggage in baggage claim for 35 mins. It doesn't arrive and I ask attendant, who brushes me off and says this is the claim for Copa. She disappears for 30-40 mins. I finally see her walking back into international baggage claim (over an hour has passed that I've been in baggage claim) and tell her my luggage did not arrive. She asks me for my claim ticket then proceeds to say "oh yes, I was informed your bag did not make it." I'm upset because it's 1:40am and she could have saved me an hour if she would have helped me when I first asked. I also am curious how an airline loses my bag twice.

Pros: Crew attention
Cons: Nothing for entretaiment

Pros: Tiny chairs
Cons: Tiny chairs

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Cabin crew based in South American countries don't speak a word of English.

Pros: As usual I am very happy with Copa's service, etc... but upon returning to Orlando. The pilot had to do a go around and I was later told that he attempted to land the wrong direction. We passed through Immigration fine, but after recovering our luggage, we were forced to give the luggage back and wait again at the carousel back at the main terminal to recover it again. Has never happened before.

Pros: Good food

Pros: La atención
Cons: La comida

Cons: The baggage it wasn’t included in my ticket so the prices was more expensive also the reservation was a big problem with your company kayak never show up my ticket in the aerolínea.

Pros: Check in at the airport was very helpful

Cons: Customer service at the airport is terrible, had a hard time with two employees with attitude and poor customer service

Pros: Puntuality the most

Pros: Seat uncomfortable. Crew okay. No space
Cons: Everything.

Pros: The plane was new. For a low cost airline the seats were confortable for a short trip.

Cons: Terrible airline. No one seems to know what they are doing. Very unprofessional, bad experience from beginning to end

Cons: Seats more comfortable, please!!

Cons: Waiting time

Pros: Not at all!
Cons: Worst experience ever!

Pros: Nothing at all. Rude crew. Tricky rates! I know that is a low cost fly, but for the first time in my life this people charged me for the check in. Unbelievable
Cons: Really, all! Money grab low cost airline! The worst experience ever!

Pros: I first thought the price/value was good; however, I had to pay to check in, I had to pay for my bags, I had to pay for water.
Cons: Everything. I will never fly this airline again.

Pros: Staff at the airport
Cons: I didn’t know that you had to check in at least two hours before the flight. Had to purchase another one later in the evening. Staff at information at the airport were incredibly helpful!

Pros: On time

Pros: The crew was helpful.
Cons: The flight was delayed

Pros: Efficient crew, comfortable seats.
Cons: Children should not be seated in emergency rows— this delayed our flight almost an hour.

Pros: I arrived safely in Bogota.
Cons: Having to PAY to check in at the airport, having to PAY to carry on a bag... this is ridiculous. What seemed a bargain at first glance ended up costing me WAY more than buying a more comfortable airline with more amenities. They are the Spirit Airlines of Colombia. Avoid them.

Pros: Excellent service!
Cons: Excellent service!

Pros: Not much. The pilot was communicative.
Cons: The staff were pushy and rude to me when they told me at the gate, when I was about to board, that I could not have a backpack and small purse. This is not what I understood when booking and is not clearly explained at the time of purchase. One attendant at the gate in particular was forceful and rude when insisting that I pay over $66 in cash at a moment when going to the ATM would mean potentially missing boarding and not arriving back in time to the gate. This process, which I agreed to because two staff members gave me the impression that I could not travel on the flight unless I paid right there instantly in CASH (completely ridiculous), caused me anxiety and took a long time, too long given the urgency of boarding the flight. I had to wait for change for 5 minutes and as a result, I was the last one to board. It should be noted that this process of paying for a maleta in hand at the gate had been preceded by having to pay over $20 in cash to print a boarding pass, which required another ATM withdrawal and fee. This is a weak and predatory business model, which seeks to exploit people’s need to travel and their anxiety. This was carried out in a completely unprofessional and manipulative manner by the staff members. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and exploitative.

Cons: Paying to print out a boarding pass. Paying nearly as much for a checked bag as the flight itself

Cons: The flight was delayed due to a mechanical issue which resulted in a missed connecting flight. Luggage was also lost and the United Airlines pawned me off to Air Canada. Air Canada flight was canceled and the second flight was delayed by 4 hours. Luggage has still not been located.

Cons: The only airline that charged me for a damn backpack

Pros: no delay in departure and on-time arrival
Cons: Had to pay for baggage exceeding 6 kilos in weight. Had to find the internet cafe at the airport and pay to print our boarding passes. Agent at the gate would not print nor was there a kiosk to print it.

Cons: Purchase directly from VivaColombia website or not at all. We were forced to pay $40 each in additional fees to board the plane (including a fee to print our boarding passes) all which we weren’t expecting. Boarding was a mess, the crew were nice.

Pros: i arrived
Cons: extra fees

Cons: They forced me to check my bag although I had taken it inside all planes . They lost my baggage for two hours and nobody was responsive. Very poor management including the supervisor. Nobody spoke English.

Cons: They appear to be cheap but they charge for any small thing including printing a boarding pass and also checkin a carry on. Which overall turns out to be way more expensive that other airlines. Besides their customer service is very bad. they lost my baggage and didn't explain anything for more than 2 hours.

Pros: The flight attendants were very helpful and professional
Cons: Not a dislike, but the boarding process was different than USA.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: They won't print your ticket at the check in counter and you can't use an online boarding pass. You have to print one from home or use an internet cafe at the airport that charges $6 to print a single sheet of paper. They jam your carry on bag into a small box. Boarding took longer than the flight! The seats are incredibly cramped yet they recline all the way back, so you're likely to have someone in your lap for the entire trip. Absolutely horrible. Nothing like other high quality discount airlines such as Air Asia which at least treat you like a human being.

Cons: I booked without realizing that you need to pay for your luggage separately, pay $10 to print your boarding pass and of course pay for all food and beverages. What a pain, not enjoyable.

Pros: That I got to my destination.
Cons: The wait time of eight hours. Also that they charged me to print my ticket, and I was charged for a very small carry-on item.

Pros: Fast, good service.

Pros: For a low cost company actually the experience was better than others. At least the seat could go back a little.

Pros: Just shat you expect from a low cost airline company

Cons: NO me gusto que cancelaran el vuelo y el plan de contingencia fuera simplemente irnos 6 horas despues donde hubiera disponibilidad. La falta de comunicación, la falta de gestión con las personas, la falta de información incluso en el call center

Pros: Lor cost carriers have to be fast and efficient, this flight was just so. The seats are quite good.
Cons: The boarding line was too long and slow.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: They asked me to pay a $15USD tax to enter Colombia. This was never mentioned at any stage of the booking process. I had to withdraw money at an ATM with its associated fees just so I could pay this so called entry tax that neither I or anybody else seems to heard of and, even though I'm an Australian citizen, and we don't need a visa to enter colombia. I flew with VivaColombia twice, the first time I received a boarding pass with I printed out, but for my second flight, I never received a boarding pass email, just an email that said online check-in is not available for this flight and to print attached eticket and take it to the check-in counter at the airport, when I did this they asked for around $10usd to print out my boarding pass.

Pros: El precio
Cons: El avion es muuy incomodo, mido 1,75 y mis piernas van completamente pegadas al asiento de al frente, el proceso de Checkin en Bogota, es un desastre, muy pocas personas, se nota que no estan bien capacitadas.

Pros: The crew and food offerings were great. Seats were small but that was expected.
Cons: Less people on the place with spacing would be great during COVID

Pros: Uncomfortable

Pros: Smooth flight

Pros: The only thing I liked was the check-in process
Cons: It was absolutely horrendous we were packed in there like sardines I will never ever fly Spirit again horrible you couldn't pay me

Cons: The flight could have left on time instead the crew allowed passengers to continue to board 15mins after we were supposed to have taken off. The pilot was inexperienced and we had a hard landing. Lastly the flight attendants seemed like they wanted to be anywhere else but on the plane.

Pros: Crew was very nice!

Cons: Too many people, some people are flying sick . I just wish someone would check their temperature

Pros: Plane was clean. Flight attendants polite. Boarding went smooth.
Cons: Frontier does temperature checks. Makes you feel safer. Flight attendants did not address all passengers who weren’t wearing their mask. United disembarks plane I. Sections so everyone is not on top of each other. I thought that was good.

Pros: Nothing! I do it because I need the flight in that moment.
Cons: Everything!

Pros: Check in process was very smooth and very helpful agents. Quick process
Cons: I’m happy with my experience

Pros: Mask covering one's nose was reenforced
Cons: Boarding started late

Pros: I like better if the food is free

Cons: Great services

Cons: Last minutes extra charges

Pros: Seats were comfortable, Boarding was quick, everyone was safe and informative

Pros: One of the flight attendants was very nice.
Cons: EVERYTGING. Airplane was overbooked and cramped, nobody was enforcing the face covering rule, drinks were served requiring everyone in the plane to remove their face coverings, flight was delayed due to weather but the whole hour+ we waited to be cleared for boarding there were no announcements or updates and the poor lady at the desk was getting berated with unnecessary update questions, even the screen behind her still showed a departure time of 6:05 as we were boarding around 8:00.

Pros: 321/5000 Absolutely nothing, it was my last time using this airline. They charged me for the suitcase and other people did not; from wanting to ingest something until water is charged, the area of the seat dirty, tray where you have to put the food dirty (I have photos). Completely disappointed, she believed in the reputation of the company.
Cons: Equality ... we are all going through a bad economic state. Hygiene in this situation has to be stricter. The Covid 19 is not a joke, many people die in these situations, we make many trips for work that we expose ourselves.

Cons: 1. Flight was delayed multiple times,. Was supposed to leave at 10:17AM and didn't leave until 2:30PM. 2. I was directed to different gates by Spirit employees who should have known (or should have known how to find out) where the new gate was. Very confusing. 3. Flight crew told us that our plane was continuing on to Denver (my final destination.) After the other passengers had exited, a flight attendant made an announcement that we had to vacate the plane due to the crew change. I exited the plane. While I was in the airport restroom, the gate attendant made a garbled announcement that my flight was shifting gates. When I got back to the gate, the attendant told me that we were on a new plane leaving from a different gate. I had to run from gate 34 to gate 18, and was the last one to board. It would have been better we were told to go to the new gate before we exited.

Pros: Onboard crew was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Everything else “Spirit” related was a debacle. We lost our baby’s stroller attachment for the car seat. Very helpful as without it we are unable to use our stroller. Attempted to have several Spirit employees help however all everyone did was send us to another person and ultimately the last person just ignored us. We went down to baggage claim to see if by chance anyone turned in the attachment but we’re only told to file a report and if they so happen to find it they will contact us. This is no help whatsoever. Will never fly spirit again!

Pros: The crew were the highlight of the trip.
Cons: Spirit Airlines required a return-flight from Colombia prior to allowing me to board, even though I will not be returning for many months (or perhaps even years). I purchased a return flight just so I could board the plane and not lose my flight. Upon arrival to Colombia, (review reached word-limit)

Pros: They were on time.
Cons: There was a fee or charge for EVERYTHING. The difference in price for the next least expensive flight more thsn made up the difference in feees ( baggage $65, carry on $65, better seat $25 but no guarantee- no free water, sift drink, or cofffe. No snacks. Everything was charge and expensive The Seats were small with no leg room and no recline option. One of the most uncomfortable rides ever. No entertainment option I guess if I was only going a short flight it’d be ok but still never a 1st chioice And remember cheap airlines means kids will be on board

Pros: The flight crew was polite and attended to my needs and they were actually funny.
Cons: I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that.

Pros: An airport attendant, Alfonso, was wonderfully helpful and friendly. He took good care of me, as I was needing wheelchair assistance.
Cons: When we arrived, I needed wheelchair assistance. I was picked up on the gangplank, and taken to the gate across from our arrival and LEFT THERE. No offers of help after that. I had a 3 hour layover, and finally Alfonso asked if I needed additional assistance. No one else was I interested in helping me get to food or a restroom. During the course of my layover, I heard over 6 flights have gate changes. Ours also was changed...at the time we should've been boarding. No explanation or apology for inconvenience. And again, I was LEFT THERE with no assistance. I finally flagged someone down to get a wheelchair and take me to the new gate, where I was LEFT AGAIN. I finally got up and walked to a restroom in my own (in great pain). The info for our flight remained on the screen at the old gate, with no mention of a gate change, and the new gate had NO information posted about our flight anywhere...which led to a great deal of confusion, chaos, and angry patrons. The gate change also caused us to board 30 min late. The Spirit employees were hard to find (laughing and hanging out in a closed-off area behind the desk). They were not friendly, helpful, or even understanding about the situation. I asked to be the last one on the plane (needing wheelchair assistance), and was told no, with no kindness or explanation. The flight attendants on this flight were not any better than the ines in the flight before...only w/o the funny commentary. And, another long flight with no entertainment, comfort, or friendly assistance. When we arrived at DFW, there were storms (that would've been avoided if we had left Orlando in time) that kept us in a holding pattern for an hour and a half ON TOP of a two and a half hour flight. The flight attendants used this time as a way to make MORE money for the airline by charging money for any food/drinks during this time...even water. We were on that cramped plane for 5 HOURS and were still having to pay for water. This was one of my WORST airline experiences in over 40 years of flying.

Pros: Staff gave me a refund for return flight& baggage fee
Cons: I was supposed to depart at 10 pm. Flight was delayed twice via email & again once I arrived at the airport to 1:40 am. Around 1 am, the flight was cancelled. There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am.

Pros: Courteous, smiling flight crew--professionals--were aboard the plane, well-versed in their jobs and prepared for every eventuality.
Cons: It was not Spirit's fault that the flight was delayed for two hours--that was due to weather--but there were no updates and when the clerk got on the intercom she was very soft-spoken and hard to hear. In order to effective deal with flight delays, one needs to have consistent updates, so that one can inform friends and family and arrange for rides from the airport that don't have to wait forever for the palne's arrival. It is difficult to be over six feel with long legs; leg room is nonexistent,, and non-reclining sits are difficult. Although I would never pretend that this was at all the fault of anyone at the airline. I was seated next to a woman who was very large--at least 400#, and quite broad-shouldered--and she took up half my seat. My back still aches, I couldn't lean back or straighten out or get comfortable in my seat because of her size. It made for a painful, difficult flight.

Cons: Will never fly Spirit airlines again. First flight was cancelled, return flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. I waited at the ticketing desk for 3+ hours (while on hold with customer service on my cell phone). Never had my call answered and also did not ever get to the counter for my refund. HORRIBLE experience, worst customer service ever. A total inconvenience, I had to rearrange all my travel plans, incurring many additional expenses and also book a different outgoing flight at a higher cost in order to get to my destination. Also, the flight seems cheaper but then they gouge you by charging for your seat and also for your carry on. Not any cheaper in the end. NEVER AGAIN.

Cons: The staff was not happy you could tell they did not want to be there they were very disengaged. This was the second time my flight to Puerto Rico had been canceled. And then it was canceled while I was in Puerto Rico without notice . There was nobody at the airport no one answering the phone's nobody to talk to nobody to resolve issues . I waited on line for customer care/reservations for over four hours and I have proof . That is unacceptable for any business economy or midscale . And then you're only offered $50 when you had to pay for another ticket pay for another night in a hotel in extra day in a rental you're out over $500 and they give you 50 .

Pros: Nothing. We were treated like Idiots.
Cons: They wanted to charge for everything we had, including the purse that my companion was carrying. I found out later that our backpacks and purse were under their posted "Guidelines." When she told us that the baggage fees would be almost $400 for the two of us, I said "You are insane." and we rented a car and drove 15 hours instead... with car rental and gas and hotel, we still spent less than the baggage fees! When I called Spirit to complain. I was told that the gate agent was trying to overcharge us, but that there was nothing that could be done. They would not refund the cost of the tickets (Only $144) or offer any travel credit. I will never use Spirit Air

Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: Ridiculous charges for everything you get on other carriers for free: printing boarding pass, choosing a seat, water, carry on bag allowance. Additionally seats are extremely small(and I am not a big person), no inflight entertainment available at all, no option for an electronic boarding pass and additionally the flight was delayed. With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit.

Pros: Comfort, clean seats
Cons: Fare cheap but all the 'musts'made it more than any other airline: $9 Online fee; $25 kiosk fee (which didn't work and had to pay $50 fee to check in with clerk; had to check bag approved for under seat/carry on (12"c12") and since kiosk didn't work, charged $60 for 1st bag, even though I paid $60 for a 'first checked bag' and 2nd bag should hAve been cheaper. It was TSA agent who told me I would be required to check the bag by Spirit as it didn't meet carry on criteria and if I didn't check now, would be $100 at gate. I told her that I was traveling back with same TSA approved (and Spirit online rules) and she became rude and rejected my bag (and did a complete body search) so, I was forced to check the bag or miss my flight. I asked her and the Spirit clerk (3) if this was a TSA/ Spirit racket with kickbacks for TSA and/or Spirit and NOT on of them laughed, smiled, or denied this question. Mever again will I fly Spirit airlines or recommend to anyone!

Cons: On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!

Cons: We were over 1 hour late getting to Orlando as there was a passenger who was on the plane in stand by . Spirit overbooked the flight and they down 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue. I was suppose to get to Orlando at 10:30 . I got to Orlando at 12;30 . I had to be up and ready at 6:00 . It took me 45 minutes to get a ride. This past Thursday I was suppose to fly spirit to New Orleans . The security people search me for around 40 minutes . The plane was still at the tarmac however the spirt person had closed the ramp and would not let me on the plane . The plane set there for additional 25 minutes . I drove to New Orleans for 7 hours for a meeting. I will never , ever fly spirit again .

Pros: In purchasing a Spirit flight I am aware that no "frills" are included. I expect uncomfortable seats, no free snacks or drinks, and staff that is generally less professional. You get what you pay for. And the price matches the service.
Cons: I live two hours from the airport I departing from. My flight was early in the morning, so I made plans to leave for the airport with plenty of time to make it to the airport. Unfortunately due to blizzard conditions, I knew I would be unable to safely make it to the airport by the time my flight would take off. I called customer service, during my first call I was hung up on, so I called again. The operator tried to tell me that he didn't see any weather conditions that should have prevented me from making it to the airport so he wouldn't help me transfer my flights. I was made to cancel my original departing flight and purchase a new departing flight, for twice the cost of what I had originally paid for my round trip flight. The only decent thing the operator did for me what waive the flight cancellation fee. I understand fees and charges to keep other flights as cheap as possible, however, at some point your customer service should accommodate your fliers when its extenuating circumstances. Highly disappointed. Unlikely to fly with them again.

Cons: Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way.

Cons: The alert was finally sent to us well past the time we would have been going through security. Luckily, we had checked on our own through a third party app,. No alternative flights were available, so we had to book on another airline and cancel the Spirit tickets. The credit policy is draconian. We may not be able to meet the redemption requirements and will probably lose the entire value. The process created so much frustration and wasted so much time. The low-ish price is simply not worth it.

Pros: Flight on time.
Cons: Flight attendant was so mean. I did not get a chance to ask who she is or her name was at that time . I was traveling with my family including my mother who is almost 80 years old and was seated farther away from me. I stood up to check on her as she was having shortness of breath when we boarded. I stood up 15 minutes after we took off although the seat belt sign was on to check on my mother, I knew I need to stay at my seat but I have to check on my mother. flight attendant was at the aisle getting food orders and was very rude told me to go back to my seat. It could have been better if she asked what's going on and why I need to stand . That's not my expectation of a flight attendant as she should be there to assist and provide support if needed. But she was very rude and directed me back to my seat without asking the reason of my action/ behavior but instead very rudely telling me to go back to my chair. She could have asked me if I need help. I believed she is also the flight attendant who was using the overhead mic to give instructions to the passengers. She is not fit to where she is at. I believed that there still a lot of people that were very disappointed at her . I hope nobody dies in the plane where she is at as her act of negligence, rudeness , discourteous is not acceptable.

Pros: didn't die in a plane crash
Cons: Flights both ways delayed more than 2 hours both ways WITHOUT notification, compensation, or explanation, even when queried. I was forced to reschedule my car rental for twice the price due to tardiness. "Randomly selected" our flight to be security checked FOR A SECOND TIME AT THE GATE, and then my girlfriend was innappropriately molested for some reason by a tsa agent. I fly all the time and this was the first time this has ever happened. No service, still very expensive, dirty seats. I will NEVER be flying spirit again.

Pros: Made it home in one piece
Cons: Only one suitcase, otherwise had to pay $52 for anything extra. Some passengers had more than one case/bag without charge. The staff acted like they did not enjoy their professions. Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family.
