Pros: "The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling."

Cons: "I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!"

Delta was able to get us on an earlier Flight land then delivered our luggage the next morning. Delta sent an e-mail with the driver's picture, name and picture of the vehicle. Friend of ours seat was switched also and instead of him sitting next to his wife he sat next to a person who did not have an assigned seat he was extremely large and he was hanging off The seat into the aisle I noticed an empty seat and had to ask the stewardess if he could switch seats instead of the stewardess offering on her own. The flight out was delayed approximately one hour various mechanics coming on and off plane until finally we were able to leave."

Cons: "I didn't take too kindly to the Service Agents on the ground. The Service Agent in San Antonio wasn't very accommodating or supportive to my needs. I had a problem that needed resolved and instead of diligently helping me, she would turn to another customer, totally ignore my concerns and speak Spanish with this other woman. When I was at the counter first, not the other woman. The Service Agent in Orland on my way back was rude as well. She gave my Mom and I attitude about my luggage being overweight. Told us to pay the $50 or figure it out. We had expressed already paying the $18 to check the luggage to begin with and wanted to see if that amount could be included in the $50. The Service Agent scoffed at us and turned up her nose. Great air service, horrible ground service."

Fare was $111 compared to around $375 to Orlando. I was able to fit this flight into my scheduled so saved the company $$."

I like a good fare, but selling a can of Coke on the flight for $2 seems a bit extreme. Glad there are cut-rate airlines out there as an option, but I won't be flying them any more than necessary."

Cons: "The plane was charged to a smaller aircraft. Then we were delayed. There were a lot of seating mix ups. The baggage took FOREVER to make it to the carrousel after we were already getting in so late and we’re exhausted."

I paid a lot for this ticket to CVG - and the flight was delayed twice or three times I can't remember exactly - so I got to my final destination (family's home) at 3:30 a.m. They offered me a $25 coupon after I got home which doesn't even cover the cost of a cheap seat or a bag fee. Definitely steering clear of Frontier. I'll pay more to be on time, w/o paying for bags and seat choices. EVERYTHING is an up-sell - even if they have to print a boarding pass for you if your phone dies along the way which isn't too far fetched."

Cons: "I was unable to download the ticket of my minor age 14 child so on arrival at the airport I told the bag check person he gave us a copy of our ticket for boarding as I showed him we had checked in already but could not see his ticket we were TSA pre checked went on to that area with line I went first using my app boarding pass but they would not let the child in saying his,ticket was not present checked TSA but it was when i checked him in,so we had to go through a 45 + min line a second time. very inconvenient almost making us late for flight."

Give that man a training position. He could teach a thing or two about a smile going a long way and when the door closes he really acts like he cares about taking care of the passengers. So different and rare from the gaggle of gossiping I am accustomed to seeing. It is so refreshing to meet someone like Heath."

Anyway to stick it to you and drinks were $3 for a can of juice or soda. Also after the fact saw they had almost a 1000 complaints and a 1 out of 5 star rating."

Cons: "The line at the airport to drop off my luggage (which was prepaid) was crazy long as most people had not prepaid and some were trying to pay with cash (which Frontier does not accept). Even tho I had my boarding pass printed and luggage paid for I waited almost an hour in this line - and I arrived 2 hours 1/2 early. After arriving in Cincinnati the luggage took at least 40 minutes to arrive at the pick up point. On my outward bound trip to Orlando the luggage took over an hour to arrive at the luggage carousel. It seems that Frontier does not have a good rapport with the baggage handlers at the airports."

Cons: "Frontier charges for checked bags. This was not made clear during the booking process. A surprise when checking in for the flight for sure. Also, we were 30 minutes behind schedule but were not told there was a possibility we could be late until we were almost completely done with the flight path."

Pros: "The people that say next to me were nice. The flight crew seemed to be very nice and welcoming. Their instructions on safety in the cabin were very clear and concise."

They seemed more interested in talking to each other than having any comment o make to us about the expected departure time. The plan was FILTHY, and I understand it was a delayed flight but come on... No time for a broom and dustpan? I pulled out the safety instructions and crackers crumbs fell into my lap. The only time the flight attendant staff was clearly focused on us as passengers was when they were selling a Frontier credit card. I understand how much revenue a card like that must bring into the company, but for that occasion to be the only one firing on all cylinders, is a shame."

Pros: "The quick boarding process after several delays"
Cons: "The flight was scheduled to leave at 11:28am, we boarded at 3:15pm. I understand some delays are inescapable, however, not at anytime was there a gate agent to answer any questions as to why the multiple delays. The gate agent arrived when the plane did. The only way we knew we were begin delayed is to look it up online or in my email. This was the day MCO was closing at 5pm because of hurricane Irma. People were anxious to leave Florida and with plans to fly out, they were unprepared to stay."

We had to have our son come to the Akron/Canton Airport to pick us up and take us to the Cleveland Airport to get our car. On the way from Cleveland to Orlando Spirit broke our one piece of checked luggage. We will never fly Spirit again."

Thanks a lot spirit you may have hundreds of flights a day but you only get 1 birthday. With no help I flew home on Frontier they got me home within hours so I could see my new baby daughter."

Pros: "There's nothing really that jumps out at me that makes me scream I love this airline because, let's face it, unless you charter yourself a flight or put yourself in first class; flying really sucks no matter what company you fly with. The only real perk of this airline that is usually pretty consistent are the flight attendants. Their jokes in the beginning lighten the mood and put people who really hate flying at ease for a moment, otherwise they are always attentive and use the right amount of sass to the fellow passengers that need to be put in their place ;) I also like that when my flight is delayed your company updates pretty frequently, it would just be nice to maybe give tentative landing/boarding/take off times because there is usually just one new time and it's hard to tell whomever is waiting on you, what time the new arrival will be."
Cons: "I know I can't complain about the man behind me that incessiently cussed while simultaneously pushing on the back of my seat in his own little pity party, or about the little girl who rested her feet on me for at least an hour-- that's not your fault! Your passengers chose you! But a few things that your may want to look at improving would be timeliness; My last 5 flights have all been delayed to some degree, life happens and I understand 15 minutes, half an hour.... But my flights tend to range around an hour delayed, 2 hours, 4 hours delayed this past thanksgiving... Like I said, I know life happens but maybe there is a way to improve this. Next, yes, all airplane seats are uncomfortable, but the one next to me was visibly broken but still had a person placed in it-- that's not me sitting in it but if I paid $25 for a specific seat and it turned out to be busted I would be pretty pissed- so all I'm saying is if you're charging people for seats, make sure there is enough maintenance and up keep that people are getting what they pay for. Lastly, cleanliness... People don't clean up after themselves even if it's asked of them and it's starting to really turn me away from the airline. There has been food smashed in my seat, gum and other unidentifiable things smashed in the carpet or seat back and it just hinders how I feel the entire flight. I know cleaning crews are expensive and obviously don't help with timeliness when the flight is aready significantly delayed but in my personal opinion if I've already been waiting 2 hours, an extra 15 minutes for a quick clean is not going to kill me and will actually be reassuring to know it gets cleaned at all. Another idea to remedy this problem would maybe be supplying dissenfectant wipes upon request but make it known that they are available-- I use my own wipes but I know a LOT of people don't even think to bring them."

Cons: "Our granddaughter's stroller and car seat were not available to us at the gait and we were directed to collect it at the baggage claim area. These two pieces had not arrived in the baggage claim area as well. Therefore, we contacted the airline representative in the lost baggage office. We spent close next two hours trying to locate the missing pieces to no success. We were provided a substitute car seat for her and as we were a minute from our destination in Solon, we received a phone call that those missing pieces were located (we don't know where in the airport) and delivered a couple of hours later. It just speaks to the incompetence of the Spirit airlines staff. I do not think that we shall again fly Spirit in the near future, nor shall we recommend it to other family members or friends."

Cons: "I cannot believe I had to spend $50 to check one bag each way, and if I had a carry on it would cost more also. Most airlines give the first bag free and only $25 for first checked bag, if not free. This is the very reason I will not be using spirit airline in the future."
