Nothing much. just when it's time to check-in, try to check in at the exact 24 time limit window in order to get one of the earlier seats at the front of the plane
AiswaryaFlew with United Airlines-Sep 2026
Carry your own food. The flights are already long. On top of it when it gets delayed, you will end up extremely hungry with no food.
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-Jun 2026
Bring sleepy things and bring an eye mask so it blocks out sunlight so you can sleep.
TamaraFlew with Southwest-Jul 2026
Southwest fare restrictions have become much more strict. Make sure you read the fine print.
KonstantineFlew with Air Canada-Apr 2026
MCO has an app, it’s great for live TSA wait times and to book MCO Reserve if needed.
raela marieFlew with Spirit Airlines-Mar 2026
Get to the airport two hours in advance!
LindaFlew with American Airlines-Mar 2026
You need to arrive extra early due to long lines checking bags and going through TSA.
Verified travelerFlew with Frontier-Apr 2026
prepare to be charged extra, contact call center if you cannot do online check in
mariaFlew with Spirit Airlines-Apr 2026
Give yourself several hours extra because flights did not run as scheduled
JamesFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jan 2026
My advise is to pack lightly to avoid paying for the cost of one bag in the amount of 35 dollars. The amount isn't the worst I've paid, for my traveling bag but so many individuals used the overhead luggage rack as well as a back pack that didn't pay for transporting a large suitcase that I intend to do the same in the future.
BreannaFlew with Allegiant Air-Dec 2025
Layer up! It’s usually warm in Orlando but cold when you get to Grand Rapids . Wear those layers on the plane as it’s a little cold too. Then you will be well prepared when you arrived to Grand Rapids
BrianFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jan 2026
I would say bring a backup snack or pre-order food with Alaska. I love Alaska airlines' new food options.
Verified travelerFlew with United Airlines-Jan 2026
Night flights are less crowded and leave on time or even earlierike mine did. It was great.
BillFlew with Frontier-Dec 2025
Wear comfortable clothing and make sure you layer. We went from 80o to 30o,

Be ready for delays if you are flying in winter.
MeghanFlew with Southwest-Feb 2026
MCO security doesn't have a mobile liquid container to drain your water bottles between the ID check and the luggage scan, you have to empty your bottles before you get in line (or drink it all before you make it to the luggage scan). Many other airports offer a space to empty your drink out, or warn you of that ahead of time, for MCO the warning didn't display until after you get through the ID check which was not helpful as there's no way to exit to find a sink once you're past that point.
Verified travelerFlew with Breeze Airways-Feb 2026
There is no good service included with the ticket. You get one small cup of water. So bring your own.
GraceFlew with Porter Airlines-Nov 2025
Use Porter - roomy seats and better than average snacks/ beverages. They actually board from the back of the plane after VIP status customers and families with small children making on-boarding smooth. Will definitely use them over others.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Mar 2025
For budget travelers, this is a good airline. Stick to the luggage dimensions, bring a snack and a book or entertainment that does not require WiFi and you will get to you destination for a great price.
KalebFlew with Spirit Airlines-May 2025
Get to the airport early and read about what you can or can’t bring. Don’t be greedy on the bag situation.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jan 2025
Get there early. We arrived 2.5 hours prior to the flight and due to the Spirit check-in and bag drop process (or lack of a process), we almost missed our flight.
FranciscoFlew with Spirit Airlines-Nov 2024
Arrive early to the airport, push down hard on the passport scanners, follow the signs and keep an eye on the monitors for any gate change
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-Sep 2024
Get there with plenty of time! You can’t afford to be late but you can always afford to be “late for being early”!
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Nov 2024
Use their app, it’s great & they notify boarding, etc
DONALDFlew with Southwest-Nov 2024
The car rental bus at KC airport is located at the 2nd drive from the exit doors of the luggage pickup area. Just walk through the doors, across the first driveway through to the pickup island. You should see the bus to your left. This is also the area the Uber drivers pickup.
JeromeFlew with Spirit Airlines-Sep 2024
Get comfy or big seats, download media to your device or pay $12-15 for internet
JennFlew with Alaska Airlines-Oct 2024
Bring on a snack if it’s a long flight
HenryFlew with Breeze Airways-Aug 2024
For MCO arrive with plenty of time to make it through the TSA checkpoint. Stewart / Newburgh is a great smaller airport to fly in or out of.
EricFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jul 2024
Take the early flights, especially in the summer. Save the headaches you’ll receive.
BrockFlew with United Airlines-Jun 2024
Spirit is cheap when booked about 2-3 weeks out, but watch bag fees Ice scorched as low as $20 up to $60 Silver has 4 flights a day. Though their reticketing policy is much like Spirits’, you miss it you buy another ticket. Average $90-125 and up
JuliaFlew with WestJet-Apr 2024
Recommend doing your check-in online to avoid the long lines at the security screening. The is a separate line for pre-check-ins.
LauraFlew with Southwest-Apr 2024
Always go at least a couple hour prior to flight time. Keep an eye on gates they tend to change.
LorraineFlew with Alaska Airlines-Mar 2024
Do get there 2 hrs. ahead as security lines can be long.
slovely08Flew with JetBlue-May 2024
Terminal C is gigantic, prepare to walk for what seems like an eternity to get to your gate.
FranciscoFlew with Alaska Airlines-May 2024
Make sure to read all the disclaimer disclosures before booking.
JeffFlew with Canada Jetlines-Jan 2024
Flying from Orlando to Toronto - if it is during a busy time like US thanksgiving, Christmas or spring break you NEED TO BE AT MCO 3 hours prior to boarding to make it through check in and security.
AmyFlew with Spirit Airlines-Feb 2024
Arrive 3-4 hours early if you have a flight leaving between 4-5am. TSA lines were very long and people were rushing to catch their flights. The trams to the terminal get crowded very quickly.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska Airlines-Jan 2024
Get a nonstop flight. The extra leg room is worth it for tall people. Did not get it for the return flight (already over budget), so we will see how that goes.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Feb 2024
Check to see if the airport has the “Clear” TSA screening. Which is free when scheduled through the airport vs pay a fee if scheduled through Spirit Airlines, shocking…..
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jan 2024
I didn’t realize that we had to take a train from check in in order to get to the gate. That took a lot of extra time.
Verified travelerFlew with Delta-Jan 2024
Wear a mask again. COVID is going around again, and can knock you out for a few days, especially if you’re not recently vaccinated.
Verified travelerFlew with Spirit Airlines-Jan 2024
MCO is pretty chaotic with families going home from vacation - give yourself plenty of time .
LoriFlew with Sun Country Air-Feb 2024
I wish I would have known before booking that there was an additional fee to book on line. I would have gone to the airport to book to save the fee.

Wasn't expecting this, but, we actually ended up getting assigned to the first row of seats!!!!! The extra legroom came in handy

Flights delays were communicated timely and helpfully, but there was a significant delay without any real effort to make up for that. Also, the in-flight WiFi was very spotty. That said, this was my first time with Southwest and I was quite happy with the service and staff otherwise.

Delayed and once landed waited very long for the luggage

Eveeyrime I fly they are begging for bags due to cabin overhead space. What they should so ia take the bags that are clearly too big to fit wheels first on their side. And those of us who give up the bag should really get their bags first. When boarding, nobody wants stupid jokes about how hot it is on board. Give us some cool air. Im usually sick from the heat by the time we take off.

Friendly crew kept coming by to make sure all was ok, provide additional refreshments, etc.

Kayak could’ve posted the correct gate number. Almost missed my flight.

Slow boarding, limited food and drink portions. Bad delays and turbulence

The checking experience in Orlando was terrible, almost missed the flight. Too many travelers and Southwest completely understaffed.

Communication about the delayed flight was poor. We were told to move gates three times but that was bad information. We went from gate 128 to gate 126 and then to gate 123 and back to gate 126. Communication about the delay was bad. Ended up being 1 1/2 hour late getting home.

I liked it better when you were truer to your roots Am paying more for less fun

Both legs on the way were smaller planes, each had a mechanical issue causing a delay

Delayed flight. Dirty seats, dirty seat belts with food stuck on it from previous passengers maybe. No one cleaned the seats or flight.

No headphones, forced to sit in another seat that I did not book, had to check my carry on when I boarded the plane I saw backpacks and other non carry on items stuffed in the carry on holder! Horrible experience Wi-Fi did not work either

There was no food, so :( to that one. The flight was delayed by 3 hours. Not Delta's fault. Not the crew's fault. Considering how tired all us passengers were, everything went surprisingly well. The flight crew were very helpful, friendly, and professional. I always fly Delta.

My flight was delayed and I got back around 3.5 hours later than expected. I had to get a new connecting flight

Five hour delays every hour, I wish it were all at once

Got rerouted from a straight flight from Orlando to Atlanta to Knoxville to a flight from Orlando to Detroit to Knoxville! Seriously!! Flight delay out of Detroit! Long day for what should have been a pretty easy travel day!

Clean planes and not take my comfort class seat away.

Much better than Latam, the worse airline company ever. I hope I don't have the need to fly Latam ever in my life again.

The flight was operated by Latam. The aircraft had a technical issue and the flight was delayed for the next day. They grounded other passengers to get their airplane assigned to my flight. Most of he ground staff don't speak English (Orlando Airport), but were very polite. The crew on the other hand could speak English and Portuguese. On board service was good.

Delayed too much. 1.5 hrs in the airport and another 1 hr in the runway. Got too late in the night. There was no proper food available.

Did not like the check in guy quibbling over a couple pounds at the luggage weigh in

This is related to my second leg of the flight, from Washington DC to SFO. I understand things happen, but I got home at 3 am for a 12:59 am landing. I live 10 min from the airport. Bridge breaks when a few rows of the plane are off? Maintenance didn’t catch that?

WiFi was slow as compared to trip down. Maybe because it was a night flight and more people were using it?

Excellent except for the 2 screaming kids who wouldn’t stop crying and screaming for the entire flight but what are you going to do? The flight was early- good experience

Kept changing the takeoff time and the moved it up so arrived when boarding had already started. Then sat waiting to taxi in for a long time

Leaving at 7 when scheduled to leave at 4:20 - you tell me. Understood there was a ground stop. Then having to "reboot" the plane because of a lighting strike, also understood. But basically the flight was a "clusterf#$%".

With discover in general was very good but from Munich yo Palermo was poor

The boarding process was straightforward. One pertinent observation regarding all boarding procedures is that if an individual requires assistance or possesses a special status and is part of preboarding, it is advisable to limit the number of passengers who can preboard with them, rather than the entire, sometimes large, companion groups. The seats are uncomfortable, and the entertainment options are significantly inferior compared to other airlines. During the snack service, I requested an additional bag of snacks, but my request was denied. Initially, the flight attendant agreed to my request.becoming a strange accurate moment. The flight duration was four hours.

Experience was great - no complaints. Took off on time, landed early. Got to the gate relatively quickly - took a little bit of extra time to deplane but nothing excessive.

The landing the pilot was very smooth. The flight attendant was kind of rude. The boarding the plane in punta Gorda was not great made us wait out in the heat 😞

My exit seat was very comfortable Coffee was to be purchased but sodas free 😏

This is a no frills, get it done, efficient airline. The seat is a lawn chair. You better bring your own entertainment. If you want something other than water you need to pay for it. But they will get you to your destination quickly, on time, and then they will turn the flight around and go right back where they came from. Reliably. Couple times a week tops. If it fits into your schedule, you can’t get there cheaper or faster.

Allegiant actually impressed me, original inbound flight from PBG was so late they gave us a bird inbound from Des Moines and only left 1h late and gained 40 minutes back in the air. Comfortable flight with no frills but no complaints.

Flight was delayed. Crew was good but hot coffee was not available.

It was cold on the flight. The crew was very pleasant. I didn't order any food. We were delayed due to Captain waiting on maintenance log. He kept us informed though. The flight itself was smooth. I would definitely fly with Allegiant again!

It was fine. Nobody was outstandingly friendly but no one was rude and everything was smooth . The captain thanked us for flying but no one greeted me as I walked on the plane or as I exited which is the least they could do lol

Easiest flights I’ve ever taken. Plane was comfortable without overly crowded seating.

Worst ever! Flight cancelled supposedly for weather even though we k ow of many others who flew into Bangor same time no problem. At the airport there was no customer service at all just refund and no possibility of rebook for 3-4 days. Aweful won’t fly with them again!!

Be just a little friendlier, instead of just doing their job and speaking because it’s their job. At least act they want to speak.

Flight delayed 9 hours. On tarmac for over an hour after arrival. Will never book with Frontier under any circumstances ever again.

When I was boarding my departure from Raleigh to Orlando I was inappropriately scolded by a female dog named Mia because I didn’t pay in advance for my carry on bag ($75). Frontiers website is confusing regarding pre-paying for carryons so it was a simple mistake. I also had paid for “upfront plus” meaning me and my son were seated in the front row with no one in the middle seat ($450 upgrade). When we were boarding Mia said “sir, you didn’t pay for your carryon” in a not so polite tone and told me to get out of line and come back to the counter to pay for my carryon. The way they had the retractable rope left me no room to circle back without making the people behind me move so I just stood there and then she said a second time “sir!! Go pay for your carryon” in an embarrassing tone. I then moved their rope so I could get back to the counter when a second female dog then asked “are you done!?!?” because I had said “do you want me to bulldoze the people behind me?” I then said you do realize I paid over $400 for upfront plus so I was certainly not trying to sneak a carryon bag without paying. Long story short, I am soooo done with discount airlines!!! By the time you pay for all the “extras” you might as well have paid for Delta Southwest or American! Frontier airlines sucks and I was embarrassed by a female dog named Mia!!!

Flight got delayed for 5 hours no good explanation was offered ;(

The experience was good. No frills but I got there safe and sound and on time.

After boarding and un-boarding twice over 6+hours, the flight was canceled.

Severe turbulence. Captain never came on to reassure passengers after things settled down.

Boarding in Orlando was not good. Giant mob at the gate, should have been lines.

My flight was delayed by two hours which made it so that I would miss my layover flight. I stood in line for customer service for over an hour and when I reached the agent she told me to scan a QR code and it'll give me options. I wasn't offered any help, guidance or compensation, only told that I have options but that I had to figure it all out myself. I was refunded part of the trip and had to buy an expensive same day ticket from another airline in order to get home. I will never fly Frontier again.

The confirmation # CK8GNW and my name was not recognized/in Frontier system. I was able to check in on Frintier app so i went to the Frontier ticket agent, at time they told me that my name/ confirmation did not show up as a purchased ticket. I had to purchase a new ticket that cost $289.00 one way.

The crew was delayed because they came on another flight that was delayed due to weather 10pm flight left at 1.30 am The airline made no effort to align alternate crew
