Good. The only thing is that I missed the flight.
My seat was so hard and uncomfortable. I took AA to Japan longer flight no tailbone pain. Coming back on JA shorter flight my tailbone was killing me no cushion on seat or just worn out.
It was amazing. Japan is lovely. I hope to go again. Thank you for everything.
I have been flying with JAL a few times, crews service, food, overall comfort even with economy, I would rate it the top three airlines. None of any American carriers can provide such excellent service.
I enjoyed flying on Japan Airline. However, my flight from Osaka to Tokyo did not give us enough time to make my connecting flight. We missed our next flight due to the following: We were seated on row 24 which causes us to get off of plane late, having to go to the restroom, having to exit the airport and take a shuttle-bus from terminal one to terminal three, having to go through security and immigration. We were disappointed that we had to catch another flight
I really love their services! From checking-in to deplaning, superb! Highly recommended!
First time flying. Very comfortable, plenty of leg room in economy. The food was good, as well as the snacks. Quick flight back from Kansai to HNL.
Checking in as an international flyer is a bit tedious
The crew was attentive and provided everything I needed. The food in business class was excellent.
I thought this was a JAL flight but landed up being a code sharing one with Hawaiian Air. Got upgraded by check in staff and they confirmed my bag coming from Bangkok which was great. Cabin crew was solid, not especially friendly, just super efficient and wanting to get the job done which they did. Very fast and agenda oriented. Worst part is my economy plus seat was no better than my economy seat on JAL. Plus JAL has way better food, cleaner plane, and better crew. Worst part is when I landed, was never told where to grab bags. I had correct flight name and number for JAL but there was a Hawaiian flight number in another baggage terminal. I wasted over an hour with no help from ground staff for my bag. Hawaiian and Alaska airlines merger can’t happen fast enough as Hawaiian airlines is a dinosaur. Bad experience again and I’m not surprised. JAL rocks!
Awful. They cancelled my flight from Osaka to Tokyo and did not communicate this with United so my flight was never rescheduled. I had to call United myself who, after being on hold with them for an entire hour, did not believe that my flight had been canceled because ANA never reported this. ANA themselves refused to rebook my flight. United then said they would only rebook my flight for $600. After three hours of calling I was able to rebook my flight. My total trip was delayed 7 hours.
Staff was friendly but couldn't find way to track them down during flight. Food tried to be gourmet but was just too unusual. Business class seats were hard. Even sitting on the pillow, was still painful. Have to give them credit for on-time flights and decent gate area.
Everything about the flight was good or very good. The only bummer was that there was a 2 hour delay and that's not the fault of the airlines but it still takes away from the whole experience. The most amazing thing was that our bags got to baggage claim in record time! That was excellent!
The crew was incredible. The pilots were so fantastic. The smoothest landing I’ve ever experienced.

All the food seemed to have onions. I don't eat onions. Anyway, everything else was great. The biggest downside was the underpricer company that purchased the tickets from ANA. Underpricer never provided the United Airlines booking number. ANA was a code share and all our flights were on United. I finally was able get booking numbers from Ujuted on X. They saved me from the upsales underwriter tried to saddle my wife and me with.
My wife and I liked almost everything about ANA except for the economy seat space and the cold breakfast (croissant which seemed to just come out of the fridge)
Great airline all together - triple 7 for a short flight was a plus - lots of room
Flights were late on every leg of the trip. Seating was narrow and uncomfortable, and food was below average. I complained directly to the crew, and ANA, and was offered no offset or compensation.
They did not have vegetarian options, but the staff did their best to accommodate me and hand wrote an apology and the number to call 24 hours before I get on the flight next time.
