So, the other lady who was standing right there said that she had to escort a minor on to the flight and that she would accompany me back to the airplane and see if she could help. She did, and when we got back to hand off the minor to the flight crew she then inquired about that seat. It was agreed that the seat was going to be vacant, and since I am a 6' 1", 250 pound man, they all thought it would be a nice thing to allow me to sit in that first class seat at no extra charge! Wow!! What a difference that made on the 4 hour flight! Thank You Alaska Airlines for helping me out and hooking me up! I will remember that when I am booking my next trip!!"

Drunk people should not be allowed to fly if they cannot be quiet and certainly should not be allowed to purchase more alcohol once on board."

Cons: "Mechanical delay started as a "few minutes back to the gate", then 1 1/2 hrs sitting on plane at the gate without updates, then "get off the plane while we turn off the air", another 2 hrs without definitive info, then "we're bringing in another plan in a couple of hours", then after 5 hours of waiting, an announcement that flight is cancelled. Finally they announced a replacement flight setup for 8am, but at 4am, Alaska sent texts that the replacement flight was delayed till 1:30 pm. We finally left Palm Springs for Seattle at 2:40, 26 hours late. But the worst part of the experience was the terrible communication. A few e-mails or texts or PA announcements as the time passed would have saved about 90 passengers the frustration of waiting hours at the gate area and ticketing desk for info about options. Alaska should have been more respectful of its customers. Minimal effort was made to answer our questions."

The crew announced that this was not a full flight but asked that and movement await all boarding. I waited until airborne and moved into the empty seat in back of me. It actually was comparable to my own but I remained now that I moved. Several hours into the flight a male attendent told me I had to return to my original seat. No explanation. This did not present a hardship but very unnecessary and possibly risky not to have manpower in the emergency row."

The coffee maker onboard had been broken for a long time and the airline couldn't be bothered to fix it. If I were the flight crew, I would have gone on strike. No leg (or arm) room on the express jet really punctuated a 34 hour itinerary with a sour note. I could barely walk off the plane in the end. Less comfortable than a cheap rental truck for the same amount of time. I likely won't fly again with United. I'd almost rather walk next time to be completely honest. At least it would be healthier!"

You talk about cheap and greedy. The flight back from Denver was even worse as it was running almost an hour and a half behind, then they switched gates, and after finally boarding at the other gate, we sat at the boarding gate for over an hour, with very little contact or explanation from the crew, not even offering passengers a drink of water."

He was rude, said not his fault (we know), unapologetic & said only to call the 800 number. For 20 to 30 minutes nobody got thru. Those that finally did were told the next available was Friday (a day & a half). All I got was to call back later. I didn't get my checked bag back until an hour & a half after scheduled departure. I couldn't try to find a different flight till after that. Their customer service was non-existent. MAJOR EPIC FAIL for FRONTIER AIR."

I am a doctor and waiting till Tuesday for a return flight home is NOT optional or acceptable given that there wasn't any bad weather. NO other flights were cancelled during that time. I had to rent a car, drive to Phoenix and book 4 tickets on UNITED in order to get my team and myself back home to see patients Monday morning. We finally made it home at 5:45 pm yesterday after 36 hours of being awake trying to get home without any help from FRONTIER. I will NEVER fly Frontier again and I will never recommend that airline to anyone I know. It was an awful experience and am extremely upset about the additional money to purchase 4 extra airline tickets."

The seats were horribly uncomfortable, they charge out the wazoo for drinks and they trick you into thinking you need to pay for carry-on bags! Go with American or United for good reasonable flights instead."
