Cons: "I have traveled all over the world. From China to Peru, name it and I’ve been there, and I have never been treated more poorly as consistently as I was by Aeromexico today. After forgetting the bottom of a piece of paper I was not told I needed to keep with me (it was given to me when I landed in Mexico), I was turned away from the gate minutes before boarding. I was told to exit the terminal (with no options as to what to do with my duty free purchases) and pay a 600 pesos fee for a new piece of paper. Ok, fair enough. When I get there, they don’t take credit cards. Aeromexico shrugs their shoulders yet again. I run across the airport to another terminal to get cash to pay for the silly paper, run back to get it, sprint across the airport (again, with ZERO help from the airline getting through security to make my flight) only to have the door closed in my face. Defeated I walk to the module in the terminal to ask for a new flight to be told I have to exit the terminal AGAIN. I ask what I do with my duty free purchases (bottles of tequila I cannot bring in again) and I’m told I should check them in with my luggage. After informing the agent I don’t have luggage (it was a short trip) i was told I would need to purchase luggage. THEN, I was told my rescheduling fee for the flight would be $720, a full priced fare. Never flying Aeromexico again. I’ll take 3 planes on American before a direct flight with them. Enjoy."

Cons: "It was awful. My original flight was scheduled to depart March 30 at 11:55. Then Aeromexico changed it to 1:35am in March 31. They refused to let me change flights when this happened. I wanted to fly standby on an earlier flight, so I called everyday for 2 weeks to confirm how many seats were left. Everyone I talked to told me I could fly standby if it was he same day as my ticket. I got to the airport and the flight attendant at check in told me “standby doesn’t exist.” When I asked how much it would be to change my ticket, she just said “very expensive.” She told me she’d have to check me out of my current flight and risk me losing my seat on that flight, because it was overbooked just to see the price for the earlier flight. I told her I’d be willing to pay up to $200 to switch to the earlier flight and she told me it was very expensive and she wouldn’t do it. I came back later that night and took my scheduled flight. I carried on my bag from SFO to MEX. On my second flight from MEX to BOG, the attendant told an older woman she had to check her bag because the overhead was going to be too full. I volunteered to check my bag instead so she could keep her bag. Then Aeromexico lost my bag. When I got to BOG, they told me I couldn’t have a voucher because it was my fault for bringing a bag that was too big. Finally they gave me $100 because the next day was Easter and I had no clothes for church. I wasted over 2 hours of my vacation at the Bogota airport while Aeromexico searched for my bag. They said they’d call as soon as they found it. No one ever called. I called and they asked “what color is your bag?” I said “red” and the attendant said they had it. It was delivered several hours after this call despite the fact that the airport is less than 20 minutes from where we are staying. I didn’t think an airline could be worse han United, but Aeromexico steals the cake."

I don't understand why they couldn't let me through or hold for me. It ruin my ground transportation reservation which I had to reschedule. The whole thing was frustrating and cost me more money that what i thought i was saving."

I had to ask for the persons name I should be waiting for and if she would be wearing a AM suit. I asked if there was a desk where she would be, and with an attitude the Rep, said "I already told, you just go wait by McDonald's". After waiting for an hour and asking every woman that walked by if they were Stephanie, I finally found her. She was walking by, clearly not looking for me. I had to follow her and stop her. If not she would have walked right by. Once we spoke, she was very helpful."

Avianca should be embarrassed to be associated with star alliances."

Well, even if that's the fact of the matter, at least, be kind in responding to customer's inquiry. My son was seated across the isle, same row, but in reality the row was not even straight. And as a little boy, he cannot sleep straight and he has to lean to a stranger's shoulder? Thankfully I got a nice gent who should have sat next to him who were so kind to exchange seat with me. It's all in the attitude.... hopefully my attitude is not as bad :-) But maybe the gate agent was so tired for it was the last flight from ONT, at 1 AM. Bless her heart! Thank you though for your help to get the plane leave on time.!"

Eventually, after about 6 minutes, he managed to control his breathing and still no flight attendant to be seen. Only after 20 minutes while distributing the meals, one of the attendants shuts the call sign of and continues. This is not the service we usually get from Avianca!"

Cons: "It may be La Guardia Airport that is the one to blame and not AA, but long story short I was on the airplane on the ground in NY for about 5 hours. We had a domino effect of things happen that caused us to be delayed and then cancelled. First a Gate change to a different terminal after boarding was suppose to begin so we had to take a shuttle over and we're still missing 50 passengers, Engine problem that required maintenance, refuel because we were in the plane on the ground waiting for so long, deplane and replane for 10 mins because of a law, on the runway and back to the gate for all these different occasions. When they finally let us off the plane after all these hours it was because of weather (although the skies were blue and the pilot was confident it wouldn't be an issue) they didn't actually cancel the flight until 5pm, my flight was suppose to take off at 9am. They were also required by law to give us free snacks Bc we hadn't eaten all day or had fresh air--these were all chips and soda...in gluten free so I had to starve. AA customer relations said they couldn't compensate because the issue that was documented in their records for my flight cancellation was because of "weather"... my flight couldn't be rescheduled until the following afternoon, making me have to cancel work 2 days in a row and pay for multiple taxis and and extra night of boarding. I will NEVER fly AA or La Guardia again."

Cons: "Flight crew were rude, wasn't sitting next to my partner on the same booking for both flights. Had to pay for wine, they couldn't even give just one complimentary wine with dinner. Dinner was bad except the small chicken salad was good"

Pros: "Great service. With FOOD!!! Real Food! The entertainment system was great ( I played most of the flight) On time!"

Cons: "Crew service and attention very poor. Terrible experience with flight reconnection for me and my group of 5 people. Had to wait 5 hours for the crew to confirm ticketing, w.e were lied to and watched how others got preference before us. Crew gave us inconsistent explanations and had no knowledge of how to solve the problem."

Pros: "The flight seemed fine, it was comfortable and the crew was polite."
Cons: "When we arrived, we found that our luggage had been destroyed... The wheels were broken off and there were large rips in the suitcase.... It was a disappointment because we are both disabled and it is very difficult to drag a large bag through sfo without any wheels. United did offer a $75 voucher which was about half the cost of the bag. We were tired and accepted it."

Cons: "Everything. We were incredibly delayed which happens but none of the staff knew what was happening. Different passengers were told different things and when we tried to ask questions they were far from helpful. It was not a good experience at all."

Pros: "The entire trip, other than the delay in Dallas was easy & uneventful. There was enough time between flights to allow going through transport & security to the next gate. Food & service was great! Awesome teams on Lufthansa!"
Cons: "Nothing, really. The ticket prices were great for travel from southern United States to Central Europe!"

Cons: "I Paid for preferred seats. When we got to the airport our seat assignment changed. We were not in the seats I paid extrs for. No money offered or returned."

Cons: "Now United is showing the struggle by selling food on board the plain. Thats not a good sign of business for loyal travelers"

Cons: "Late boarding, but no apology. Drinks service, but no snacks"

Pros: "I enjoyed the food and the movie selections the most."
Cons: "The seats and and the temperature. I had a really sore butt and tired back by the end the flight. The temperature of the flight seemed to be alittle too warm for my liking as well. Blankets and pillows were provided but were definitely not needed as it was too warm to use them."

Cons: "no vegetarian óption for breakfast"

Cons: "United crew was so rude. It was very apparent they were annoyed and burnt out from their jobs. I even overhead a crew member making a rude comment about me to another crew member. All I did was ask a question, and apparently it was a stupid one. Made me appreciate my flight to Amsterdam on Swiss even more than I aready did!"

Pros: "Direct flight on time. The gate person help us with seat assignments."
Cons: "All the charges."

Pros: "Crews were attentive"
Cons: "Movie selections"

Pros: "Left on time"
Cons: "No screens nor outlets for charging. Outlets available only for higher tier tickets (for additional price). Surprised they dod not charge for air based on ticket price, but they might have for all I know. Sitting on the runway waiting for a gate, our section was filled with exhaust from the engines, which feeled like assisted suicide, almost lost consciousness."

Pros: "Glad to have lots of rice options for food!"
Cons: "We booked with ANA but got put on a United flight on the way back. ANA was so much nicer. We were really let down flying United, having booked an ANA flight. When they swapped our flight, they didn't seat us all together either. United crew should take lessons from ANA!"

Pros: "Great airline crew and staff. Departed on time and arrived early."
Cons: "My other 3 flights on United were on a larger airplane with plenty of legroom. This one was very cramped. I was stuck in a middle seat and essentially pinned there for 2 hours."

Pros: "Smooth easy flight."
Cons: "The only real downside was seat 22D headphone jack was broken so it made for a long flight but I played some games."

Pros: "Free snacks"
Cons: "Not a lot of foot room"

Pros: "Friendly crew."
Cons: "Had a mechanical issue we were told didn't need fixed to fly the plane. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete safety checklist so we could take off. We missed our connecting flight to Cancun."

Cons: "A 3-hour weather delay was discouraging because it happened incrementally over 7 or 8 different announcements--each time getting later. One or two would have been reasonable. The seats are tiny and there isn't really enough leg room even for me at just 5'5" tall."

Pros: "Boarding was fine, no delays. Crew was nice, no complaints there! I had an empty seat next to me, so could stretch out. Luckily I brought a blanket with me, since I know from previous experience it's always too cold on planes."
Cons: "The entertainment didn't work on my iPad or my iPhone. I kept getting an error. Also, the WIFI is way too expensive."

Pros: "Clean, comfortable flight and good service (for coach!!)."
Cons: "Would be nice to have some of snack mid flight. It's a long long way!"

Cons: "They are never on time, we had to stay in Chicago and miss two days of vacation because there was no flight crew. It seems they can never get their act together, and it never changes."

Pros: "The flight was fine once we were airborne."
Cons: "The flight was delayed SEVEN times. After boarding, we sat on the ground another hour. We didn't take off until almost 5 hours after the expected departure. Baggage claim took over 30 minutes, as well, which was exhausting after midnight when we were supposed to get in at 8."

Cons: "For the second time they left without us and we had an 8 hour wait and another delay"

Cons: "Paid for internet and stopped working for a long time"

Cons: "United cancelled our first flight, and would not re-book us on another flight until 24 hours later, so we ended up having to drive from Washington DC to Savannah for an event. Instead of cancelling just the first leg of our flight, they cancelled the return trip as well, and then tried to charge us the difference because we were "booking at the last minute". United really is the worst airline, and we will never fly with them again."

Pros: "Seemed to be more room in economy... unlike my flight from sfo to Houston."

Pros: "Boeing planes are very comfortable. No pressure Really nice experience"

Pros: "I didn't eat any food on board so I am not really able to make a rating."
Cons: "I wish there would have been individual screens provided for an in flight movie or entertainment. The crew in both my flights were lovely. All were pleasant and very nice."

Cons: "Always separate kids seat from parents. Always have to deal with swapping seat around . Stressful!!. Will be the last time fly with united. Bye!!"

Cons: "I do not like downloading an app to get entertainment. Boarding process is better than some, but stinks compared to Southwest."

Cons: "Our flight changed times both ways and we were never notified.. We only found out when we checked in. We also had to sit in the last row that doesn't recline both ways"

Unfortunate situation, tried to make it for boarding but intial flight delays held me back. Just wish i couldve boarded the flight that didnt leave for 30 mins after i had arrived at the same air port."

Pros: "I was kept well informed. I haven't flown in a long time kayak and united made it easy by keeping me informed. Thank you for all the help."
Cons: "Just the hassle of going through security. They took away my bottle osarka. Water and bottle coke. Telling I couldn't take them on the flight. As soon as as I got through security there was a vendor there and had to buy those same items and costumed them on the flight without a problem. So what was the point ."

Pros: "3 seats shared by 2 psgngrs. Clear window."
Cons: "Couldn't give me a 1st class upgrade for NO reason??? I said "Please""

Pros: "Very professional and curious staff."

Cons: "Had to run from one plane to another. Was told that plane was overbooked and I could not get on. Arguments over who and how many could get on delayed plane by over one hour. I was allowed on, but our plane could not land in Aspen as a snow squall socked it in just before we arrived. Had to bus in from Grand Junction in unheated bus. arriving at 3 am. Worst trip to Aspen, ever."
