Pros: Comfortable and safe flight.

Read more about Delta

Pros: Comfortable and safe flight.

Cons: Our depart time was 1pm and our actual departure didn’t happen until 11pm. On and off the plane multiple times for mechanical failures for 10 hours. Delta had no plan and there were no hotel rooms. They diverted a NY flight through Atlanta waiving the covid restrictions to get us all on the plane. They Put us in a hotel In Atlanta, which was nice and convenient, but it was 2am when we went to sleep and backup at 6am to catch our flight. Not the way we wanted to end our amazing Key West vacation.

Pros: Crew was great!

Pros: Comfortable seats Friendly staff Soft landing

Pros: That i was able to watch movies and headphones and ratEr and snacks was provided
Cons: Nothing really!

Pros: Entertainment options excellent. Very happy to have my own row seat (exit row).
Cons: Snack options (goldfish, biscotti cookie) getting tired.

Pros: Awesome crew and great flight

Cons: Broken tray table literally off its hinges and unusable.

Pros: The seat súper confortable

Pros: Nice clean plane and every other seat being open is very reassuring.

Cons: Again all was perfect

Cons: Cabin too cold and poor snacks so 1980’s.

Cons: THE FLIGHT LEFT WITHOUT ME AND THREE OTHER PEOPLE

Pros: On Times
Cons: Less people on board

Pros: the scheduled time offers, the fast boarding time
Cons: offer lactose intolerance snacks

Pros: Comfort and safety

Pros: The way they load the aircraft from the rear for covid safety precautions.
Cons: The availability to switch my ticket to an earlier flight to avoid a 5 hour layover.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Fast boarding and off boarding
Cons: Crew wasn’t as attentive. While my first flight (I had a layover) seemed extra attention and care was put into the cleanliness and order due to Covid, second flight seemed to be a little overcrowded.

Pros: Efficient and sanitary

Pros: Everything went very smoothly.
Cons: I wasn't able to connect my ipad to the free wifi for any of my four flights.

Pros: There was plenty of space, good entertainment, it boarded fast, took off on time, and had zero issues.

Pros: Everything! the best part was that the they kept the middle seat empty!
Cons: nothing

Cons: For some reason, we were asked several times for Passports. This didn’t make any sense since we are US citizens with drivers license. They even had TSA talk to us. This has to be fixed. Otherwise, Delta experience was great.

Pros: Amazing crew
Cons: I had booked a window seat, the when I went to board, it was changed to an isle seat. I find that I dislike the sole due to the rudeness of people in general and I kept getting hit with purses and such from passing passengers.

Pros: The space we currently have.

Pros: The staff was exceptional with the distance to loading the plane and with serving us food. It was flawless.

Pros: The crew was very attentive
Cons: The social distancing was not followed and the seats were not very big so I had a person sitting darn near on top of me. Fortunately the guy next to me asked to move but until that point the crew did not really care.

Pros: Kudos to the employees who really tried to help rather than pay mere lip service.
Cons: The plane experienced a mechanical issue forcing us to return to the gate after waiting for an hour. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and focused on moving us along (Cheryl) rather than resolving our need to reach our destinations.it wasn’t until we found one extremely patient and persistent employee (LaShondra-?) who booked us through NYC rather than Atlanta so we reached Rochester on the same day. So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?

Pros: Nothing

Pros: The crew was amazing

Pros: Boarding was swift and cabin crew where attentive. Baggage drop was swift and luggage arrived quickly. Global entry at ATL was swift.
Cons: delta security in the UK is an absolute farce. The security screening at LHR was long and understaffed

Pros: The movies offered were decent
Cons: I paid extra for a window seat I sit down after they squeezed us all in like sardines and come to my surprise there is no window in my aisles it had been covered up in plastic . First making my area narrow than all the other seats and between the plane leaving late and the terrible process of loading people on the plane . Delta airlines was all about the up sale from charging for every bag to charging for internet ,food so on and so forth. Also one bathroom in the middle of the plane ? REALLY ? Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again .

Pros: Boarding was super quick, as crew wanted to leave before the strong rains and winds came through, so we left early! Plane itself was very modern and surprisingly comfortable, as much as a small space can be. Good amount of entertainment, and the crew were pleasant. And flight itself was smooth with very little turbulence which helps!
Cons: Had to pay for food, which was a little annoying considering the cost of the flight. Entertainment was very American led... but I guess not surprising considering it’s delta.

Pros: On time flight courteous service
Cons: Food

Cons: flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way

Pros: Waiting in the departure lounce was ok
Cons: Boarding was kind of stupid Delta is boarding in Zones and starts at the front instead of starting boarding passangers sitting at the back of the plane and moving forward NO they do it the wrong way and due to that boarding takes to long and makes you frustrated.

Pros: Going by and come Ming back Atlanta check in desk was the rudest Laziest most disrespectful emoyees I have ever came across . Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion.

Cons: Delta’s computer system was down. Long wait at the counter even though I did web check-in.

Pros: Nice flight nice crew just about as good as you would want

Cons: The bulkhead sears had no electrical outlet

Pros: Our Delta plane was brand spanking new. Everything worked and the inflight entertainment system was fantastic with many movies to choose from, free headphones, games, tv shows, etc. The crew was polite and the seating at least as comfortable as expected for a 4 hour flight.
Cons: The restrooms in the rear of the plane were remarkably small, even by airline standards. I'm a somewhat larger person and I fit, but I know a lot of people who would literally not be able to fit on the toilet without touching both of the sidewalls or risk getting stuck in there. The boarding process at San Jose Del Cabo was the most ridiculous setup I've ever experienced. There were numerous flights boarding out of the same gates and at least 3 or 4 lines for different destinations forming on a ramp just outside the gates. There were guys with signs trying to herd people into the correct lines and then loading the people onto buses which took you out to the planes. The planes were loading from both the front and rear doors and people were getting tangled up inside because of the haphazard loading process. Very easy for a person to end up on an incorrect plane!!

Cons: You had me check my hand luggage with expensive items that did not arrive.

Pros: Very pleasant customer service, excellent bag delivery service.

Pros: Crew was kind, entertainment and food were good
Cons: Seats are really tight

Pros: Staff were friendly and attentive. Boarding was good - efficient and quick.
Cons: Seats were not that comfortable. Aircraft very noisy. Competition offers a much better service. Transfer in Atlanta was a nightmare, taking almost two hours from landing to getting to the domestic gate for the next sector. only three immigration staff working.

Cons: On the MSP to ATL leg the gate crew made a huge deal about checking rolling bags. They even stopped us at check-in and nearly begged us to check our bags pointing to the backed up jetway. But we had a lot of unpacking to do before checking our bags so we politely declined three times. On getting to our seats there were at least 8 open slots for bags near us. I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF

Cons: the older stuardess on my flight from Cancun to Atlanta was very misinformed- told me my carry on wouldn't fit in the over head bin... it did. Told me I had to check my duty free liquor.. I didn't. Told me I couldn't bring all of my liquor in to the US... I could. I just kept saying ok to her just to shut her up, but she ensued with her comments and wrong info as if I don't travel as often as I do. Perhaps she was attempting to be helpful, but it came off as obnoxious and rude especially since she was wrong on every accord. Humbleness and customer service training would do her very good. All other DELTA staff have been great.

Pros: Entertainment was good. Delta staff seemed flat compared to other delta flights I've been on.
Cons: Space. Economy on a long flight is not ideal

Cons: Planned my trip for my birthday/10 year anniversary. The first leg of the trip, flying from ft Lauderdale to atlanta was ok except for the pilot having to circle around bc he was too close to the airplane in front to land. This made us supposedly late to our connecting flight which by the way was not supposed to leave before 8:10. My husband and I arrived at the gate about 10 minutes before only to be told that the door was locked. Needless to say, we weren't the only ones. When we got up to the desk, the attendant was extremely rude. I was having a conversation with my husband about a dog that had just passed us . She immediately made her way into the conversation asking me what i was saying. I told her I was talking to my husband about the dog and under her breath said : " I'm sure you were." I then told her that i was more than sure about what I was talking about. We get booked on another flight and my seat was the only one without a working monitor. We asked the suitardess to see o If there was anything that could be done They tried to reset it to no avail. Since we didn't say anything else, it was forgotten about. My husband shared his screen with me so that I wasn't totally bored on the flight. Not the way I wanted to start off my birthday but I'm glad that nightmare is over Delta really needs to retrain their employees on customer service bc it leaves a lot to be desired!

Cons: wasn't even able to get the flight booked for my whole party and had to go through my credit card company to get my money back and rebook with American Airlines.

Pros: I got home
Cons: Boarding experience for star alliance gold members Give something to eat! Your lounge areas don’t provide any real food. Just some crackers w/ the worst coffee ever. Maybe I won’t fly again with copa

Cons: A bigger plane

Pros: Never use this airline
Cons: Never use this airline

Pros: Service and kindness of the crew.
Cons: No entertainment onboard

Cons: Food

Pros: Ordered boarding
Cons: Cleanliness, comfort!, less crowded

Cons: Sure. I had booked a two week vacation in Brazil. All hotels, car rental and guides booked. Copa changed my fligjt at the last minute and out of the 14 days vacatipn I had in Brazil, they would have me spend 6 days in Panama City!!! Lost of small fortune with hotels, car rentals amd had to buy another ticket with Latam. They are a scam!!

Pros: The scedule

Cons: Food

Pros: Great customer service at check-in, gate and wonderful crew! The flight attendants were some of the best I've had on any airline.
Cons: We were seated in the back row and the seats did not recline. What made that even worse, is they are COMPLETELY upright. I mean you are sitting at nearly a 90 degree angle! The other rows un-reclined had more recline than the last row. This was an older 737 and those seats never should have been installed on that plane. Luckily, there were a few empty seats and we were able to move, although not together. 3 of our 4 flights were on newer planes, and on one other flight we were also seated in the back row. But, those seats reclined and were as comfortable as any other seat on the plane. COPA, if you're reading this, kudos to your great operation, but do NOT use that horrible old 737 on such a long flight. Or, only use those seats for standbys!

Pros: First of all, not sure if is because of the flight is to La Havana, but before boarding a member of Copa is checking all passengers to size them the luggage, a means you are able to carry on 10 kg, but even if they won't force you to check it your carry on bag, besides once you are in the plane it wasn´t any air conditioning, there were about 100+ people without air conditioning and even during the flight to La Havana, just when they arrived requested to close the windows to make the air conditioning flowing on the plane!!!! What was that???? I mean 2.15hrs without it and then they request something that they don´t provide!!!!
Cons: Treat people as equal, no matter where are they from or where are they flying to, because what Copa is doing for people that are going out or in

Cons: Same thing from previous flight. The crew is not capable to attend passengers traveling with toddlers or kids. We had an emergency on board with a 3yo and the plane had no emergency kit for children. The seats for toddlers and children are not adequate for their height or weight. Seatbelts don't fit a child. They travel in such uncomfortable seats and conditions. The aircraft was a 190, too small to make passengers feel comfortable, and this is how Copa always manages their flights to all cities in Central America. Very poor service and old aircrafts. People are paying for a quality service not to be treated like cattle. You need to improve your services.

Pros: Crew were friendly, drinks plentiful, food decent.
Cons: Plane delayed both legs, no communications from airline, no assistance or compensation offered. Ancient plane, one film on a 9 inch screen about five rows away. Terrible sound. Huge queues at check-in. Took seven (literally) employees to work out how to cope with a US visa (vice an ESTA)

Pros: The crew was OK. Seat comfortable.
Cons: Copa in general is good.

Pros: There is nothing to like because this flight did not happen.
Cons: Please see my previous review for my updated itinerary. This Panama City --> Cartagena flight did not happen and instead I was routed to Chicago--> Newark --> Bogota --> Cartagena. The last flight was operated by Avianca. DUE TO the fact that my very last, 55-minute, domestic flight in Colombia was operated by Avianca, it was to my very unpleasant surprise that United decided they were not going to be responsible for the bag which was left behind IN CHICAGO. I emphasize it's in Chicago, because that would not fall under Avianca's responsibility but rather United. I've had an absolutely awful time trying to get in touch with United and Avianca customer service, I've received both conflicting and incorrect/untrue information from both parties, and it's been 4 days now that instead of enjoying my family vacation I've been trying to sort this mess out with my missing luggage. DISASTROUS

Pros: The information provided prior to the flight and online booking experience.
Cons: Rude flight attendants Rude gate / entry attendants No guidance was given to passengers prior to boarding regarding how long it would be until boarding so everyone was just standing around pushing toward the doors. Long, unorganized boarding process. Attendants just allowed everyone to gather in front of the doors so rude passengers pushed their way to the front and cut the "line." No tvs in the seats. I am vegetarian and was not given a vegetarian option! Very Inconsiderate of this airline. Even worse, the flight attendant basically told me that it was my fault because I didn't ask for one in advance. Extremely poor customer service! Had I been asked, I would have requested a vegetarian meal but I did not see that option when booking.

Pros: Flight landed 1/2 hour earlier than scheduled.
Cons: I've flown Copa quite a few times in the past and have always raved about the overall quality of the service. My last trip 2 years ago was with Copa to Washington D.C and it was an absolute delight. This time however, there was a noticeable drop in the quality offered: for reasons unknown, the movie started playing extremely late, and was therefore cut short by landing time. Additionally, the quality of the food was also inferior to what I would have expected for a 3 hour, noon flight: it was roughly equivalent of the breakfast served during the SJO-PTY flight, which is barely one hour long.

Pros: COPA offers excellent service! Their newer aircrafts have individualized monitors on each head rest for added control of what one wishes to view. Clean and spacious aircraft. Nice crew and bountiful beverage/ meal service. Fair luggage allowance and flight options will keep us coming! Keep it up!
Cons: Panamanian TSA has a second checkpoint at each gate. This means you get the general check we are all used to, but at the gate there's a second patdown and x-ray where liquids purchased inside the terminal are discarded or you have to exit the gate area to drink it! People had to give up their sealed, duty free bags and we had to give up our cans of soda we had just purchased. Fuller disclosure- in Spanish and English- should be given to patrons at stores and BEFORE entering the gate to avoid displeasure. We know drug traffickers are slick, but innocent people don't appreciate the inconvenience. My son's blunt tip, plastic, safety scissors were also taken at this airport because of the thin "blade" affixed to the plastic, but it left the USA in his school pencil case without any issues on our way there.

Pros: Crew was friendly and attentive.
Cons: We had the last seats in the plane, were served the last, and no offer was made to move us to open seats further up. Multiple people stood in the aisle to use the restrooms (6-7) which meant they were in our faces (I thought the US limited how many people can stand in line on a plane post 9/11); people also got up and did not pay attention to seat belt signs throughout the flight and the crew did nothing. The film was the same one shown Southbound, not as listed in magazine. We were late taking off and late landing (the latter beyond the captain's control, don't know about why we were late to take off).

Pros: The flight attendants were great. Extremely easy going handled everything thrown at them with great poise.
Cons: Not Copa's fault but had the WORST family sitting behind me that allowed their young children to run up and down the 1 aisle at whim. Can't believe how they thought this was okay. Again, probably not Copa's fault, but why on earth do we have to go thru a 2nd round of security AT OUR GATE in Panama City, when we've already done it in a much more secure manner just to access the terminal? Having to give up my water before getting on the plane for a 6 hour flight makes ZERO sense. I hope this requirement is due to some stupid TSA/USA regulation and not Copa. If its the latter, please re-evaluate this.

Pros: Airplane crew was friendly. The flight departed on time.
Cons: We traveled with an infant who sat on our laps. We were never asked about the infant traveling until we went to check in at the desk and were told we needed to pay taxes for the baby at a rate of 10% of the cost of the ticket. But because we were doing it on the day of the flight, 10% was almost $200! We did not receive good customer service from staff, who simply told us we "should have known to investigate this." We have never been asked to do this when flying with a baby before! This was after an hour and a half of already waiting to check in our bags. We were waiting so long and dealing with this issue for so long that we almost missed the flight! A terrible experience. Also, the web check in line took even longer than the line of people who had not checked in online beforehand! It was so slow, it added to us almost missing our flight. It was a waste of time to check in online, especially since they gave us new boarding passes when we checked our bags in anyway. We also had trouble finding both of our reservations, even though we booked them together as a family, so we ended up with seats that were not together. When we had an issue, we were given an attitude by the staff checking us in.

Pros: I liked how accommodating the staff was with seating for my family, as I was traveling with two young children and we weren't seated together. There was more leg room than most other domestic air travel companies I have been on. There was no upgrade charge for every little thing, such as blankets, pillows, etc. We were fed on each flight, and alcoholic beverages were at no additional charge. The exit tax to leave Costa Rica was included in our ticket, which I was not aware of until I was leaving the country. (nice surprise). Over all, most other airline companies in the USA have made changes that improve their bottom line, but they have completely ruined any favorable aspect of traveling with their airline (American Airlines, Frontier, Southwest, Delta, etc). Copa has done a great job of providing great service and cost for travelers. Please do not change your business strategy by removing some of the above mentioned benefits I enjoyed in order to improve your profit margin. It is refreshing to know there are still air carriers out there that retain the service that is hoped for by most travelers. Also, Roxana and her entire flight crew were outstanding. Thank you , I will fly with you anytime I have the chance.

Pros: But... when I purchased a tkt online. For some reason the name on last ticket I purchased was on the next COPA ticket. A 300.00 purchase. Because COPA does not change ticket holders names it was a total loss. I bought the ticket for a student in Cali to come and meet me in Panama City I couldn't afford to buy a second ticket so Victor stayed home. Every other Airline charges a minimal fee to make changes on a ticket so now there is a credit at Copa Airlines for a person that will never ever use it.... such a waste of time and money. Barb Langman from Lafleche Saskatchewan Canada

Pros: Overall the service was very smooth, enjoyable flight
Cons: The space for waiting for boarding at Panama airport is tight but i believe they are in the process of building a new terminal

Pros: Nothing!
Cons: 1. The flight departed two hours late. The airline offered no explanation or apology. We wound up landing in Washington at 2:00 a.m. 2. Boarding in Panama was chaotic. There was no P.A. system, so we had to strain to hear the shouting airline employees. 3. There were no individual entertainment monitors. There were screens that dropped down about every five rows. All passengers would have to watch the one movie selected by the airline. I was so far from the nearest screen that I could barely see it. 4. The food was awful. 5. The seats were very uncomfortable.

Cons: I went through security at Lima Peru (Jorge Chavez International), everything was fine. I arrived to Panama, and the gate was next door which is just great awesome. The bad part was that I had to go through a security check once again there, although I had not left the airport since I left Lima. I went through the exercise, I was told that there would be no liquids (8 oz bottle of water, soda, etc) allowed passed that check point. Yet they were selling these items next to the gate. It made no sense why this checkpoint and why the liquid restrictions. Once in the area if I wanted to go use the restroom or whatever I needed to go through the checkpoint. There were 6 Copa employees manning this station, that's extra expense that the company passes on to the flyer for a step that should be evaluated and look at to see why other airlines do not do this. I was not the only one getting frustrated with this setup, but also passengers that did not speak Spanish they could not communicate with Copa employees. I saw this liquid restriction with Spirit Airlines in Lima, and I decided not to fly with them any more, no matter how inexpensive their fares were. Spirit told us that it was US law that made them have people throw away their drinks, although they were bought in a secured area. To me this was just a way to charge for drinks on the plane. I never had to throw away my drink if I had bought it in a secured area.

Pros: On time departure from the gate.
Cons: To board the plane in Panama City passengers had to go through a second security screening and were therefore unable to bring bottled beverages onto the plane. Once through this second security there was no where to purchase water. The free never came through the plane to offer more beverages after the meal service. Many passengers got up and corralled at the back of the plane to get water. I watched a flight attendant drink from one the large bottles herself and then presumably serve to a customer.

Cons: The fact that you do not allow water in the waiting area at the gate after passing the first security check is utterly ridiculous! if you want to enforce that policy you should provide free water at the gate. it was overheated and crowded to the brim and my wife went to get water after having gone through the second security check. She paid $10 for 2 bottles of water at the stand just before the gate and when she tried to come in again they did not allow her to go through... really a ridiculous situation!

Pros: This announcement by the pilot at the beginning of the flight turned out to be incorrect. Despite the fact that I did online check-in at least 23 hours in advance, I was seated way at the rear of the jet. As a single woman who looks unusual because half of my hair is shorter due to recent surgery; I sincerely hope I was not seated at the back due to my appearance. The other passenger seated with me was a very kind developmentally disabled young man. The placement in row 33 +/- only emphasized the many instances of turbulence on the flight to Chicago.
Cons: The many occasions of turbulence on this flight.

Cons: Not only were we not told in advance that we'd have to go through security again in order to sit in the gate area, but we weren't allowed to bring in beverages we bought right next to the gate and there was no bathroom in the area we were being held before we were boarded. You'd have to go through security again. Also, the security guard accused my tall, black, injured, elderly father of being suspicious because he was sweating in spite of the fact that she wouldn't let him drink water unless he left the gate area even though he was injured. Never flying Copa again and never going to Panama again, not even for a layover.

Cons: La comida no es adecuada para un viaje de tantas horas

Cons: TERRIBLE. Never had a worse flying experience. Was told at the first leg of the trip that there were 2 open seats on this flight but they would not reserve one for me. Mind you I booked this flight several months ago and somehow my seat got taken away from me because copa overbooked yet again. Worst customer service of all time. Was traveling with a group of 7 girls and got left behind in Panama because Copa took my seat away. Had to sit at the Panama airport for over 10 hours waiting for the next flight and arrive home at midnight. Copa would not allow access to a lounge or hotel even though they initially offered it when they said how they would take care of me if they couldn't get my seat back. Disgusted by how this airline operates.

Pros: Food and sandwiches are tasty.
Cons: No movie!, uggg... The real problem though is 1) they changed the gate on a connecting flight. Copa seems to make gate changes on all flights without notifying passengers. If you don't watch the board you'll miss your flight. Why not send a crew member to the gate you told passengers to go to , and put a sign by that gate notifying passengers of the change! So stressful!!! 2) In transit passengers catching connecting flights, Copa to Copa, have to go through their security again! What, why?? We cannot eat, drink and relax at the gate because no fluids are allowed AT YOUR GATE. We are not talking ourtside security, you are already in the security areas. Even to go to the bathroom you have to go in and out of security, again! Stupid!! We didn't leave the terminal, and you're making us miserable!

Cons: I did not care for the fact that they set up a checkpoint after I made my connecting flight then made me recheck through security at which point they tried to confiscate our very expensive duty free purchase that was in a sealed duty free bag! Only when I demanded a manager did they stop trying to confiscate it. At which point they made me check my carry on luggage! I find this very suspicious since I also discovered that someone tried to access the inside of my luggage at Panama City on the initial flight! Your crew on the ground and in the terminals in Panama City are running scams! Beware! Very disturbed by this and plan on sharing this on social media as a beware to copa travelers going through or to Panama City! Literally set up check point at ramp to plan confiscating stuff bough in the terminal after already going through security!

Pros: Left on time
Cons: Food was awful, offered "rice or pasta" chose rice without knowing it had red meat and the other had chicken. Meat was hard and horrible to chew, asked for a different tray for my husband and I and we were told "only if there are some left". About 50 min later, the attendant showed up with two trays when they were starting to pick up old trays. Entertainment was ok.. Played lion on small overhead screens After over 1h at passport control, our luggage wasn't there, they sent a few suitcases and told us that was it but then They made us wait like 15 more min for our suitcases... Bad experience

Cons: I was seated at an exist row at the window seat. The crew would not allow our row to stay seated at the exit row because she said we did not know Spanish well. Instead of finding us replacement of a window and aisle seats we had to take middle seats. She didn't even make an effort to ask if anyone would switch out. I wish airlines would train their crew to think out of the box style and practice customers service, which finds solutions and not state rules. In the end - people migrated to the exist aisle anyway (where we were seated) and made it into a bed.

Pros: Getting off the plane
Cons: Biggest problem was the inappropriate advice given in Sint Maarten by Copa employees about checking bags in Panama. This caused us to have to buy a new piece of luggage to transport something that couldn't be carried through security. Apparently TSA requires additional screening beyond the normal airport security for Tocumen. For Copa employees in Sint Maarten - whose only flights are to Tocument - to not know this is absurd. There was also an incident with duplicate seating that was handled extremely poorly. I was not involved, but it occurred on an adjoining seat. I finally resolved the problem by giving up my seat. Tocumen airport is not an airport that I want to see again. The security - as indicated above - is not up to standard, the flight listings are ridiculous (6 screens all showing the same flight information and never progressing past "M" In the alphabet, way too much duty-free shopping and way too little other signage. It's off my list.

Pros: La tripulación tenía tan buen actitud! Todos eran muy amable. The crew had a very friendly attitude. All were very kind!
We boarded 20 min late. They made us wait on the plane, a completely booked flight, for 30 min without air conditioning (in Panamá, where the temperature is insufferable)! Later, we had to wait on the runway another 20 min, still lacking air conditioning. Finally, we spent almost the entire flight with our empty meal trays sitting in front of us. RIGHT when the captain announced "flight crew prepare the cabin for landing", the crew ran through to pick up the trays and trash. In total, it was a very uncomfortable flight.

Cons: Copa cited some airport restriction on number of people they could accommodate on the plane due to weather and how this was handled and processed by the ground crew was just terrible. This affected a number of passengers -- 30 or more, by my estimates. And it started with the leg from Panama to San Francisco not checked in automatically and getting placed on standby. The call center did not offer a suitable explanation for the airport's weather restriction. As a frequent flier on the Star Alliance, I have not seen a situation handled as poorly as this. The ground staff seem very poorly trained to handle what seems to be a frequent situation. And despite most affected travelers being there early with a layover began to resolve this only 45 min before the flight. My appetite to fly Copa from San Francisco has vastly diminished. And so has the desire to fly through Panama City, if weather is as fickle as they say it is.

Pros: I was bumped from an overbooked Copa flight and was offered another that would get me home at 1am (rather than 3pm) or an overnight stay and a flight the next morning. Instead of trying to find a way home from the airport (a 1+ hour ride) in the middle of the night, I opted to stay in Panama overnight. Copa put me up in a very nice Sheraton in downtown Panama City with a pool, several restaurants, a casino... They gave me $20 per meal I'd be staying for (lunch, dinner, and the following breakfast), arranged a shuttle to and from the airport, and, the best part, a $1000 voucher for future flights with Copa within the next year - enough for two more round trip flights.
Cons: Communication was minimal or false. When I checked my bag, the agent told me that I was being placed on standby because of a weight limit on the plane. She assured me that the flight wasn't full and that I would absolutely get a seat. When I got to the gate, there was minimal information available, but about 12-15 people were on standby, including two families of 4 and 5 people. The agents were ill-informed and didn't immediately explain why so many of us were on standby and whether anyone would make it on the plane, or what the other options were for those who wouldn't make it on the plane. Eventually four or five people boarded, another few got moved to a later flight, and 6 including me were put up in a hotel. Betzy, a gate agent for Copa at Tocumen, was absolutely wonderful and so helpful and informative with all of this.

Pros: The worst airline I've flown in the last few years. Made a string of mistakes and errors and showed a lack of customer service typical of anything central american. 1 Canceled a wrong flight of mine 2 Gave me wrong tickets 3 Wanted to charge me to wait stand by after admitting to their own error 4 Were continually rude and or unhelpful with a repeated lack of useful or relevant information to help me make informed decisions. There are many quality airlines out there and this is not one of them. Having flown a bit to central and south america over the past few seasons, there are no shortage of airlines worth the money that provide a positive flying experience.

Pros: Airplane clean, staff was friendly, couteous and mostly bilingual. Food and drinks were appreciated and of good quality. We were allowed to check 3 bags without addt'l charges. Definitely felt welcomed and would fly Copa again.
Cons: Long wait at airport check in so glad we arrived almost 3 hrs before our flight. Staff was pleasant but for some reason desk agent told us that the flight was completely sold out and without telling us, put my wife and I in middle seats in different rows. We were at airport very early and didn't realize until boarding what she had done. In flight staff assisted on the flight and moved us to an exit row where we were able to sit together. Luckily I counted at least 6 open seats and in the end we were happy. I'm not sure why she did what she did. Ironically, she (gate agent) was incredibly nice. Maybe it was simply and honest mistake.

Pros: I flew executive class. The staff was very friendly and professional on the ground and on the air. seats are comfortable and there's a lot of storage space. The plane left on time and entertainment option aboard is great. What I did not like is that being seated in row 3, for four flights, I never got to eat the meal I wanted. It's seems the option always dies in row 2, just after less than half of the passengers flying executive class have ordered they meal. The rest was great and I would fly copa again!

Pros: The crew did their job.
Cons: At least monitors to watch a movie since there is no food in first class...

Pros: The crew was nice, the seating was poor rather you paid to pick or not. When boarding you are told to social distance but you got folk sitting bunched up together with someone sitting next to you the whole flight. Delta doesn’t have people sitting in the middle seats. Poor flight when it comes to safety or health over money. SAD!

Pros: The fact that no one sat next to me believe me it was not a my choice there was just not a body to put in the seat
Cons: The staff was not friendly or say hello or goodbye

Pros: Same as previous flight
Cons: Same as previous flight.

Pros: Not much
Cons: Not being delayed 3 hours

Pros: I was by automation assigned to a window seat, which I always seek to avoid. But before the flight, I had read in the WSJ, that such a seat was one of the safest, for health reasons! I give thanks to the random seat assignment gods!

Pros: Attentive and very polite flight attendant
Cons: Restroom seems to get smaller and smaller

Pros: The crew was very pleasant and the flight was comfortable.

Pros: Wonderful flight attendants and ground staff

Pros: Flight came with free entertainment. That's a plus.

Pros: Very smooth boarding process. Made an announcement early that later groups would have issues with finding overhead space and asked for volunteers to check bags at the gate at no charge. Made things go very well without any delays.
Cons: Nothing to improve. Very well run.

Pros: The flight was great. Smooth ride with little turbulence. Great FREE entertainment options on screen. Boarding was quick and orderly for a full flight. Ability to charge my phone.
Cons: Cramped seats. Limited snack option.

Pros: Crew was excellent and the flight was ahead of schedule.

Pros: The crew did an excellent job. The pilot was able to make up time after 1 hour delay at the airport.
Cons: More comfortable seating.

Cons: Flight was delayed about 10 minutes. :(

Pros: Crew overall was very good and attentive.
Cons: Seat comfort

Pros: The crew that was on board was pleasant. I always like flying American.
Cons: There was no flight attendants so the flight was delayed for an hour.

Pros: They pulled out of the gate to have an “on time” departure only to make us sit on the runway for an hour. The flight attendants were incredibly rude to people asking questions.
Cons: Offered us drinks... let us know what was going on .. answered questions. Basically, anything.

Cons: The flight was delayed by over 3 hrs! As a result I missed work!

Pros: It was all good nice crew and smooth flight

Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: Having to pick up our luggage when getting off plane from Sydney, just to walk them around the corner to be put on flight to ATL. (I thought luggage handlers were paid for this). Luggage had already been put through security!! This put us in a TOTAL RUSH just to make it on the plane ourselves!

Pros: I think crew tried to make the best of the bad situation. Got to Atlanta faster than scheduled flight time and they were sympathetic. Don't really know about much else, as I slept the whole flight.
Cons: The 3 hour delay really cost us. Left Rome at 2:30 pm instead of 11:30 am, so missed 6:40 pm flight to Atlanta (so much for the 3 1/2 hour layover we were supposed to have). When we landed in Philadelphia, sat on runway for 45 minutes, waiting for gate. Next flight was supposed to leave at 8:40, took off at midnight.

Pros: Seats, check in, baggage claim all good.
Cons: Lousy Wi-Fi on board

Pros: It was not a full flight so I didn’t feel cramped and had space for my carry on in the overhead compartments instead of having to check it in due to lack of space like I had to do on all the other AA flights.
Cons: We were given last minute notice our flight was going to be delayed and our gate changed 3 times. There was never a definite time frame for anything and very vague information was given. Our flight ended up being delayed almost 2 hours. It was my most frustrating experience with any airline. Definitely would not choose to fly with them again

Pros: Newer aircraft, comfortable seats
Cons: Connection to inflight entertainment was complicated and lengthy, barely got access to it for 45 min

Cons: Delay

Pros: I liked getting to my destination on time.
Cons: The one carry-on policy was silly and included personal items. I was told to repack my purse into my backpack which was already full. The boarding staff stood over me and told me to throw stuff away in my backpack and asked why I had packed certain things. I am in the process of moving back to the US from Korea after two years so everything I had was everything I owned in the world - which included some sentimental things like a stuffed animal from my mother who passed away when I was three years old. The most infuriating part of this however was realizing that there was one other bag in my overhead bin. In fact most of the overhead bins had one to two bags and plenty of room. My repacking and humiliation was unnecessary and it was only for the morbid satisfaction of the lady at boarding demanding it. At one point I heard her talking with her coworkers about “why couldn’t they freaking listen. We announced it three times.” Well I had approached the counter prior to arrival and they told me to get back in line when I tried to ask about my purse and backpack. In additional to the frustration of all of that, I received my checked in luggage with a wheel missing. I had just bought it and now I have to ship a wheel from the vendor in South Korea or buy new luggage. Thank you guys so much for letting me know which airline to never fly with again.

Pros: Service
Cons: Just little delay.

Pros: The staff was nice and the pilot tried his best to keep us informed.
Cons: Flight was delayed by 50 minutes. Then once on the plane we were stuck sitting on the plane for hours. Didn’t end up landing in ATL until 1:45am. And then had to wait another 15-20min for them to open the door and bring the ramp to get off the plane. Horrible and exhausting experience!

Pros: On time
Cons: Rude flight attendant

Pros: boarding process was efficient and the seats on this aircraft seemed a bit more comfortable
Cons: lack of in-seat video and no free wi-fi and no power connections

Pros: free movies
Cons: flight attendant was rude

Pros: I think for the most part you have some of the best customer service but your snacks are awful compared to other airlines.

Pros: The flight was tip top and the flight attendants made all the difference! Going out of the way to brew fresh coffee!! Huge
Cons: Nada

Pros: The lax to atl flight was on a much better plane with all the modern features to make the 5hr flight comfortable.
Cons: The atl to lax was an old plane and wasn't comfortable for a 5hr flight

Pros: Everything went more smoothly this time than on our way to Phoenix. Even though the airport was quite crowded they had enough staff to get us through baggage check fairly quickly. They flight was smooth.
Cons: No problems on this leg of the trip.

Cons: The kiosk had no where to enter my DoD number to get precheck. There was also no option to select military baggage. Due to the lack of options on the kiosk I had to wait in the customer service line for almost an hour. The flight was fine. Then my baggage turned out to be flying on a much later flight so it has to be shipped to me. I am very unsatisfied and disappointed with this airline.

Pros: American Sirlines flight # AA1249. Was a poor experience. Flight was over an hour late due to flight crew had not arrived. The plane was too small for such a long flight Los Angeles to Atlanta. Took an hour to collect our baggage from baggage claim. I will try to Avoid American Airlines on the future.

Pros: The price was ok
Cons: The flight was over booked and my father and I couldn't sit together. The plane was loud and no tvs on the plane. Will stick with southwest

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Good entertainment option
Cons: Very delayed

Pros: Great customer service from the ticketing agents, gate agents, flight attendants and pilots!

Pros: All if the gate staff & on board staff that I interacted with were very friendly & efficient.
Cons: Very tight/small & crowded waiting area.

Pros: I could ask for the whole can of soda on any flight. A passenger told me that delightful news.
Cons: I'm tall 5'9 and my knees were literally up against the seat in front of me.

Pros: I like how very clean. flights attandant were all well dress and clear. They performed a wonderful safety demonstration.
Cons: I did not like how plane was not on time; plane was late. American Airlines need to purchase a new plane.

Pros: I thought frontier was worst but american is not too far because american flight can not fly on time.

Cons: I missed my flight in Atlanta heading to LA on my way to Brisbane, Australia on Saturday 16th July. The ground staff wasn't at all helpful in trying to get me on another flight and in fact sent me to Delta! The lady there couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. Sadly I wasn't compensated at all and had to pay to re-book the flights on the Sunday 17th. On my return from Brisbane, American Airlines had cancelled my flight to Atlanta as they said I was a 'no show' heading out. Thankfully I was able to get a seat on stand by. So, no I'm not a happy customer.

Pros: thiughy it was a good price on the fare. Now I know why
Cons: The representatives and staff at your LaGuardia airport need some serious customer service training. Very rude - no one seemed to know what was going on. Flights were pulling up they rebooked and they were fussing at customers. Understaffed and delaying and canceling flights. Would not recommend to anyone to fly with them. Even on connection changed gates 3 times. So customer unfriendly!

Pros: Airline crew did everything to keep us comfortable during the flight
Cons: Na

Cons: Access to WiFi

Pros: Flight landed early

Pros: It was no airplane for us for another 2 hours. United does it more often then other carriers. We mad it home at 2 am instead of midnight.

Pros: Clean plans, smooth landing.
Cons: United Economy basic was still expensive yet you don’t get a carry on bag

Cons: Didn't make flight due to problem with baggage claim

Pros: The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present.
Cons: The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed.

Pros: I like how they found another flight and we didn't have to pay because we was originally early for the first flight
Cons: Didn't lik how we miss our flight because TSA took so long by checking every hand luggage padding us down and i flew with my baby and my disable mom

Cons: An extra agent who was rude was having passengers check size of their bags and we had to check our carry on that we had fit above on previous 3 flights. Her statement to us was : “If you don’t like it we’ll have you checked on to another flight tomorrow morning”. She seemed to stop passengers she could intimidate, I’m not used to being treated rudely by service providers! I’m sure they wanted to reduce the passenger loading time, but rudeness is not acceptable!

Pros: The flight from Frankfurt to Chicago arrived late, had to collect bags and clear customs which delayed transfer, had to go from one end of the airport to the other on a train which operated very slow which delayed transfer, had to then clear TSA security checks which were very slow and again delayed transfer. Moving at the max speed we were capable of, we arrived at the opposite end of the airport too late to board and were left behind. United was not very sympathetic, although provided ticket for next morning flight. The entire experience was very disappointing following what was a decent tour of Italy.

Pros: On time, easy boarding process...good flight attendants
Cons: in first class they ran out of the healthy salad choice

Pros: The flight was very pleasant!
Cons: The landing was pretty brutal!

Pros: The flight landed ahead of schedule.
Cons: I had to pay $75 extra because I redeemed miles for my trip and it was purchased around 20 days before the trip. Ridiculous, their customer service is the worst, and their fees are ridiculous too and the service is the worst. Their CEO and upper management need to be changed, and they need to become passenger focused like Southwest.

Pros: Everything went good. Crew was professional, flight was on time

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The plane had 11 people on it and I can see why they are losing customers bad business practices.

Pros: The leg room and the great service

Pros: All good. Like the exit row. Extra leg room

Pros: The flight attendants we very nice and helpful.
Cons: Changed my boarding gate and I barely noticed in time to make my flight.

Pros: The flight wasn't too packed.
Cons: My husband and I flew from Newark to Atlanta on 03/12/2017 with United. My husband is active duty military and Alicia assisted us with checking in our baggage. She was very kind and helpful. After retrieving our tickets, we went through Security and my goodness, the process at Newark is awful and TSA WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. That's besides the point. Our flight was delayed because the pilot was not there. Our departure was at 0605 and we didn't leave until 0630. Everyone boarded the plane and we were waiting for the pilot. Then the crew members were pretty rude and not friendly. I know it's an early bird flight but jeez, they can be a little nicer. One stewardess had high heel boots and literally would stomp up and down the aisle. Then she kept saying my purse was not under my seat which it clearly was. I don't know where else she'd like me to put it, maybe in the passengers seat in front of me. I would probably not fly United unless I have no other choice.

Pros: The service was good and overall flight was also smooth

Cons: Flight delayed for 3 and half hours

Pros: Boarding was well-organized and fairly quick. But be ready to check your bag at the gate, even if it's the right size for a carry-on...
Cons: The plane's seats are very uncomfortable, security in Newark took a long time, and there isn't enough space on the plane for everyone to have a carry-on bag (or at least that's how the flight and gate crew treated many of us when they forced us to check our bags at the gate, despite there being plenty of room after everyone was boarded).

Pros: Seating, mobile boarding pass
Cons: Waiting for a gate to become available 50 minutes after landing.

Pros: Boarding was fine, crew was fine, snacks ok, smooth flight

Cons: My flight email itenerary was about 45 late So when I got to the airport my flight had already left. Makes for a sucky experience having to buy a whole other ticket at full cost.

Cons: Nothing special

Pros: Great flight both ways of my trip. We arrived 20 minutes ahead of time on the way back. The crew was very courteous and I had a great experience with United.

Pros: We were early. I bought economy plus.
Cons: No complaints

Pros: I made it home
Cons: When I got to the ticket counter my reservations had been canceled by united. Worst part is the flight is now completely booked. I was lucky enough to make the flight thanks to a late flight from vegas where 7 people were connecting from but it was pretty stressful to walk up to the counter to be told the reservation you have had for 2 months was no longer reserved. This was one of the rudest staffed planes I've been on. These guys aren't over worked. I don't know why they can be so hateful. I loved united but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It all worked out in the end, but I still can't follow why my flight reservation was canceled without me being notified. I shouldn't find something like that out when I get to the airport with my luggage in my hand.

Cons: The gate attendant did not give proper updates when delay was occurring. Kept disappearing when people were getting upset instead of answering our question. The lady at the ticketing counter had an attitude problem when I asked for alternative flight options or when the potential time this flight would be leaving. They kept telling us only 30 more minutes for 3 hours!

Pros: The United App provided me with constant updates. This eased my concerns. Would definitely fly with United again.

Pros: Flight was on time and smooth.

Pros: Do delays everything when smoothly
Cons: Took a little long for baggage to be released

Pros: The entertainment
Cons: I didnt like how i had chosen a seat a month before the flight and then its like i never asked for one

Cons: The crew was not very helpful with my concerns. As well, there was a handicapped man sitting on my roway and he received insufficient service.

Cons: The tsa lines of course.

Pros: Easily the best flight of our entire trip. Airplanes was nicer so the others couldn't help that but the crew was outstanding on this flight. All of them were amazing! Kindness is what the world needs and all three were wonderful. The comfort was also the best on this plane. This was the first time flying with United.
Cons: Problem was after the flight. My luggage was lost. This was the first trip with United so I'm not sure about the future. This was the first time my luggage has ever been misplaced.

Cons: Crew seemed preoccupied. Not interested. Never did get water. Flight was late coming in late going out. Sat on Tarmac in Atlanta for 30 minutes. Not able to get on wifi to watch movie.

Pros: Boarding crew was very friendly.
Cons: It took a long time for the luggage to be unloaded.

Pros: Should have switched planes sooner
Cons: The professionalism of the pilot and crew despite the long delay

Cons: The plane was very tight, no leg room. I felt as though I was sitting with the couple in the seat above me.

Pros: I liked that I wasn't flying standby. The man in charge of scanning tickets and boarding was very nice also.
Cons: The comfort was terrible, no technology or internet options unless you paid, seats were not comfortable. Thank goodness I was by the window. There were so many screaming kids. It should be an option to choose kid friendly planes.

Pros: Everything

Pros: Crew very polite and helpful
Cons: Late leaving by nearly an hour. I'm glad this was my connector and not my first leg of my trip. Again seat no back tv. And as we didn't leave "on time" it was t very clear when we would land

Cons: I was in a middle seat and the woman next to me required a seatbelt extension- which in my opinion means she should have purchased 2 seats. Why should I pay full price for 3/4 of a seat because the woman next to me is overweight?? Moral of the story: Seatbelt extensions = BUY AN EXTRA SEAT!

Pros: All was fine. Nice, friendly staff. Plane had more leg room than most. I did not use any entertainment so can't say.
Cons: The mix of whatever cracker things you give out. They are virtually tasteless. Pretzels or peanuts or cookies would be much better.

Cons: The flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours due to a mechanical problem. They found a different plane to switch with the original plane. They pushed back the estimated departure time about 10 times.

Pros: I love the check in process!! You go to a kiosk and print your boarding pass and luggage tag and then just go and hand in your bag to an agent. Soooo easy. Then no ones in line forever. I was very impressed with the little extra amount of leg space that is not always on most planes. The flight wasn't very full and the crew was kind and generous with a couple of us wanting to switch our seats around. The tvs in the back of the headrest definitely kept me occupied watching New Girl. Overall, I was very comfortable and got to my destination without getting upset or angry once...which can't be said for all airlines.
Cons: The security line for united in Newark was RIDICULOUS! It didn't take very long to get through...maybe 30-45 minutes (which I planned for) but the line snaked through two floors and wrapped through the check in area. It just looked incredibly daunting. But I realize that there isn't really much that can be done about that!

Pros: Professional and compassionate handling of medical emergency. Did not mind the flight diversion to Salt Lake City. Captain kept us fully informed as situation developed.

Cons: It never happened!

Pros: arrived 20 mins early. good drink selection
Cons: couldn’t scan iphone ticket. had to go in separate line and get printout. inefficient boarding.

Pros: Puntual

Pros: Affordable ticket
Cons: The flight could have been on time and they could have at least had less people on the flight because of COVID

Pros: Got to my destination quickly

Cons: Social distancing!!

Pros: The seats were comfortable to me.
Cons: There wasn’t any entertainment, not really a lot of space, tray to put food or your laptop on was really small.

Pros: Awesome
Cons: N/A

Pros: I don’t like how i bought a soda and some chips and it came to 50$ I’m not understanding that at all
Cons: Don’t overcharge my card

Cons: Seats

Pros: It was a quick ride
Cons: Not charging passengers for a drink that should be complimentary

Pros: Everything went well and smooth, clean plane.

Cons: Waited 1 hr to get bags from baggage claim

Pros: On time
Cons: Worst seat on the plane. Had to pay more for my carry on bag than my flight ticket

Pros: The actual flight( taxi, takeoff, cruise, approach, landing)
Cons: I am writing this review while waiting for my luggage. IT’S BEEN one hour. The ground crew wasn’t ready at ATL to guide the plane in, we had to wait. The boarding process was disorganized, with only 2 folks available to help our citizen on wheelchairs. My flight took off from Terminal 3 (gate E9), but how come nowhere was it mentioned that SPIRIT check in was on Terminal 4 (out of Fort Lauderdale). UPDATE: still waiting on my check in luggage. We reached the gate at 12:36 (midnight) and it’s now 1:33 am. Are we serious here? NEVER WILL I EVER FLY SPIRIT NOR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Kayak, I wish there was a way to block results from certain airlines.... in this Case SPIRIT.

Cons: There was nothing to like about this trip because the website would not send me a boarding pass although I checked in online twice the day before, so I never had the opportunity to even get in the gate. I asked for a boarding pass through an email and it didn't come through, twice. I did not think much of it because I have had problems receiving emails from Spirit in the past and I have always been able to log into my account and access the boarding pass on the website. The morning of the flight, the website locked me out and wouldn't allow me to log in. I actually had to leave the security line to try to sort the issue out. The kiosk at the airport told me I was at the wrong airport (I was not). I went to the front desk and the agent was SUPREMELY unhelpful and unconcerned, and marked me as a no show at 7:05 for a flight leaving at 7:25. Even though I was standing right in front of her. Even though I had left the security line to deal with the issue. I had to get to my destination that day, which happens to be the reason I bought a ticket in the first place, so I had to spend an additional $500 on a Southwest ticket because the agent at the front desk of Spirit said I had no other options with Spirit that day. I called customer service and despite escalating the issue to a manager, I was essentially told "sorry for your luck" and sent on my way. The manager even asked, at the end of the call after telling me a refund would not be possible, if I wanted to purchase an airline ticket while I was on the phone. I have bought a fair number of Spirit tickets in the past. I unfortunately already have a ticket lined up with Spirit Airlines in November but I will never be purchasing another ticket from this airline again. It was an absurd scenario - I paid for a ticket and was not able to redeem the ticket I paid for - and I should not be have to pay the price for Spirit Airlines having poor IT.

Pros: Crew was professional and outgoing.
Cons: Customer service personnel at the Fort Lauderdale International Airport were disinterested and unfriendly. Processes seem unorganized and no one appears to be in charge. One person in particular who was calling out cities to customers standing in line in order to move them to an agent quicker due to them being close to the boarding time had horrible body language once he identified the people in the city he called out. He looked disgusted and was shaking his head and acting like they committed a crime. The opposite approach could be to be friendly and just go with the flow, it won't be the first or last time you will have people running late in an airport. On top of that, no one is perfect and I would bet every dollar in my savings account that he has been running late before. I hate Spirit and would never fly with them if I wasn't forced to based on job requirements. I'm honestly surprised Spirit is still in business. Remarkable.

Pros: Swap to Delta flight.
Cons: Return ticket also cancelled without my knowledge. Had to argue to get return ticket restored.

Pros: Not much
Cons: My first time flying with Spirit and it started off bad to begin with. First learned that you can't carry on a bag without a $55 per leg fee adding 50% more to the trip. We decided to check one bag instead at a cost of $40 per leg but then Spirit considers over 40 Lbs overweight instead of 50 like other airlines so another $30 for overweight per leg for an extra $140 for the trip. Then soft drinks are $3 everything costs more. I will say the flight crew did a great job when there was a heart attack on our flight and they attended to him with great care. Then our flight back was cancelled due to the Hurricane but no other airline had to cancel that far out from the hurricane actually hitting. It seems Spirit couldn't get flights to Chicago with nothing to do with Atlanta. In fact we ended up driving all the way back to Atlanta only to see Delta and other airlines landing at the airport 11 hours later. Only Spirit wouldn't fly in more than a day before it effected the area. They did at least refund most of my money. I'll just never fly them again.

Pros: The flight down was fine. The plane seemed new and well-appointed. Boarding and staff were fine.
Cons: My return flight was affected by Hurricane Irma. Spirit's first response was understandable under the circumstances, and I felt that they handled it as well as could be expected. They canceled my flight, notifying me about 8 hours prior to the flight, and automatically booked me for a new one for the next day. However, when I arrived for that flight, they cancelled after I was already checked in. The lack of prior notification -- and the fact that it was now two days after the tropical storm -- made me think that this was poorly handled. At that point, I bought a ticket on another airline. Spirit emailed me two $50 vouchers with an apology, which I appreciate, but I plan to contact them for a refund.

Cons: Flight departed early leaving me and several other passengers behind. Luckily they were able to put us on next available flight but it wasn't for another 5 hours (they even tried to charge for their error but eventually gave in after the line of angry customers that had also missed their flight). Then that flight was delayed 2 hours. Didn't get into Atlanta until 2:30 am!! Plus $50+ baggage fee each way. Low cost ticket ended up costing me more once I factored in time and money lost. I'll be sure to take my next flight on a more reliable airline.

Cons: They delayed the flight by 5 hours and flew in early so 20 of us missed that later flight, even though we received an email it was coming in on time moments after it left. I had to cancel and fly with Delta. The next dayI had to go to retrieve my suitcase from Fort Lsuderdale. I ended up flying into West Palm Beach. I will never fly Spirit for any money ever again. The hidden costs are ridiculous. I had no choice but to buy a seat because there are no free seats. That flight costed more than double the original cost.

Pros: Staff gave me a refund for return flight& baggage fee
Cons: I was supposed to depart at 10 pm. Flight was delayed twice via email & again once I arrived at the airport to 1:40 am. Around 1 am, the flight was cancelled. There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am.

Pros: Fast boarding.
Cons: The airline didn't allow me to print my boarding pass until 8:30 pm on the night before my scheduled 8:38 am departure. At that time the fliglht departure time was delayed. In the morning the flight was delayed again. Fortunately I had a three hour layover in Atlanta, so the delays only meant less of a layover. The seats were uncomfortable. It was a clear day without many clouds, but somehow the pilots on both of my flights weren't able to hold the planes steady during the takeoffs, climbing to altitude, and approaches for landings. The planes were wobbling a lot---like they were no longer on smooth automatic pilot.

Pros: The price
Cons: The experience felt a bit chaotic and impersonal. It's a bit stressful to manage all the extra costs as well. I tend to enjoy flying but I mostly just wanted to get this experience over with. Spirit gets you from point A to point B, safely but there's nothing enjoyable about it. Also, on the flight back we waited on the runway almost 45 minutes for an open terminal. We were about 30 minutes early but that wouldn't explain the terminal opening up 15 mins after our expected arrival time. However, I don't know if this was Spirit's fault or the airport's.

Cons: We were over 1 hour late getting to Orlando as there was a passenger who was on the plane in stand by . Spirit overbooked the flight and they down 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue. I was suppose to get to Orlando at 10:30 . I got to Orlando at 12;30 . I had to be up and ready at 6:00 . It took me 45 minutes to get a ride. This past Thursday I was suppose to fly spirit to New Orleans . The security people search me for around 40 minutes . The plane was still at the tarmac however the spirt person had closed the ramp and would not let me on the plane . The plane set there for additional 25 minutes . I drove to New Orleans for 7 hours for a meeting. I will never , ever fly spirit again .

Pros: I paid twice as much to check bags as I do on other airlines. It costed me a total of $94 to check one bag to and from. Also the customer service was poor. It took forever to claim my luggage because the flight attendants told me an incorrect carousel number. I was on a wild goose in the airport and because of this I obviously don't feel it was worth the extra money checking bags. Also I didn't like that I had to become an online member only to save ten bucks on my returning checked luggage. Don't waste your money!

Pros: This flight was canceled because the AC didn't work. I rescheduled for the next day (after being on hold for at least 20 min), but was almost charged a rescheduling fee of more than $100. I am disappointed to be away from home still, but am more concerned with how disorganized they were during this process. It took them hours to decide to cancel the flight, and once they did still more time to clarify where people should go and what the next steps should be. People were left in a line of at least 100 people, but only attended to 2 at a time. No one was directed to call Spirit, even though it would obviously be the most efficient way to get the line moving. Yes, machinery goes wrong, but this should not get in the way of customer service.

Pros: Flight was on time
Cons: Staff was okay. Airline charges $65-100 for a CARRY ON. Most ridiculous price I have ever heard off. I had a backpack as I was pre-warn by an employee before I left for the airport. One poor lady had a purse and her laptop bag and they told her they would have to charge her 65 dollars. You will be chargered to print out your boarding pass and will only allow you to check in online and print boarding pass if you sign up for their site and promotions. This airline makes it blantanly obvious they are all about the profit.

Pros: That I arrived to my destination safely
Cons: Checkin was horrible, ridiculous lines, no one explaining where to go, checkin machines were down, no tsa prescreen, excessive fees for everything including check in, boarding passes, carry on luggage, seat assignment, pretzels, most importantly, my flight was delayed by over 3 hours and no explanation was provided as to why. Then once my flight arrived in atl, it selected the fartherest gate to deplane and worth the airport train out of service, all passengers were required to walk over 5 miles to get to baggage claim. Since we were the last plane to arrive to the airport (2:40 a.m.) I felt they could have gotten is a closer gate. Every time I fly Spirit something has always happened with the flight i.e. delayed, canceled, gate change at last minute ect.) And no one ever apologises for the inconvenience. The closest I've ever obtained is for this flight in the form of an email with a $50 voucher of my next flight with them which I will never use bc I will never fly Spirit again.

Pros: The flight was on time. The price was great. The seats & leg room were decent.
Cons: It was okay. The person next to me wore a very heavy perfume & I have an allergy which gave me a migraine. The flight attendant wouldn't let me move to an empty seat. She appeared to think that I wanted to move because the person next to me was a larger person. I was clear that the size of the person next to me had nothing to do with it. So I spent the entire flight covering my nose to minimize the effect, in pain, nauseated & clearly making the larger person next to me feel bad. All could have been avoided by allowing me to move to an empty seat

Pros: I liked the price of the ticket. It was a great deal for a relatively short flight from New Orleans to Atlanta. I liked that you knew up front what was and was not covered by the ticket price. There was actually better leg room than I thought there would be.
Cons: The seats seemed smaller than most airlines' coach seats. The seats were also a little harder with what seemed like a thin cushion. It was not possible to put a magazine or bottle of water in any kind of holder on the back of the seat immediately in front of me b/c there were only elastic cords holding the safety cards and other airline items in the cords (and no bottle or water or magazine could be put in that). I wanted to go back in after I printed my boarding pass so that I could add a bag, but was not able to do that; I understand why that was the case. I only wish I had realized before the last minute to leave for the airport that I was going to need to pay for a bag if I wanted to bring more items with me. The flight was delayed at least 30 minutes so that a light bulb could be changed on a piece of equipment in the cockpit.

Pros: While I appreciate the cheaper price point for the flight, it reminds me a lot like a doctor with no bedside manner. Sure you need the service and sure you need an operation, but he could careless about how you feel. You are not his main priority. Spirit Airlines is a militant first-order type that sees its money-paying customer as a means to an end. 2 contrasting points of view: Delta V. Spirit One time I flew on a Delta flight that was late arrive to the gate by 30 minutes. The gate attendants wheel a giant cart out full of snacks, soda, and the like. They announced the situation and gave us all the opportunity to have as many snacks as we wanted. This past flight I flew on Spirit. At both Baltimore and Atlanta the gate attendants didn't give us any clue about our flights until it had arrived. Our first flight was delayed by 1 hours. Then 2 hours. Then an hour before the flight, I got an email that said it would be on time. Thankfully the email also had the gate number because Spirit obviously won't even spring for a working screen at their gate. We moved to the right gate to find they didn't even have a screen with any information. The flight back from Atlanta was pretty much the same, except they had a working screen (which is a plus.) Our flight was delayed and didn't arrive until our departure time. The gate attendant never told us this. We understood it was late because we could see no plane at the gate.
Cons: The cheaper price point.

Pros: The seating and the Captain of the plane
Cons: I ended up spending another $600 to get home from Vegas with another airline July 18th 2016. The manager at the gate in Vegas his name was "Omaha" did absolutely nothing to help me get home what made the experience even worse the next flight was a connecting flight that was sold out so they tried to fly me to Detroit where I would have been stuck til the next day and they didn't care about me having to work the next day. I also payed the extra $52 baggage fee with Spirit leaving Vegas but that needs to be refunded as well as my flight that was previously paid for that I take. Overall because of the unhelpful employees I had to spend an extra $600 to fly with another airline to make it home that day and I also pay $52 baggage fee with Spirit that I didn't even use that needs to be refunded.

Pros: The crew was relatively nice and patient about peoples issues/problems. The tickets were cheap and literally you get what you pay for.
Cons: The thing about a cheap airline is that, sure it might not be the most comfortable flight, but at least it'll get you from point A to point B, right? Well with all the delay problems, I began to doubt that was possible. 1. They overbooked the flight, which they do on all flights apparently. It doesn't make any sense that if I or anyone else bought their tickets weeks in advance, that we need to wait on those who bought tickets last minute for an ALREADY FULL FLIGHT, and see if someone would give up seats for them. Its not the last minute customers fault and its not the early buyers fault, its Spirit's fault for overbooking their flights. If I was a waiter at an Italian restaurant, and I sold out of all the lasagna dishes, you wouldn't expect me to take in more orders for lasagna and ask other tables if they would give up their lasagna for the next table over! If you sold all of you seats, say the flight isn't available. 2. Last minute "flight delays" We were all buckled in and we were about to leave our gate. All of a sudden we stopped and the pilot came over the intercom. He told us that we were delayed because "we had to pick up company cargo to bring to Atlanta", which wouldn't have been bad if it wasn't at the last minute! We waited 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc. About 50 minutes later we finally heard back from the pilot saying that we were waiting on another plane to bring in that cargo! Everyone around me was in agreement that we should've either left without getting the cargo or waited off of the plane before we boarded. Analogy time! If we were at that same Italian restaurant and you were about to leave from you table since you paid for your check, and I stopped you and said that you had to vacuum under/around your table before you left. You agreed to it, but I told you the vacuum was in another restaurant and you had to wait for it to be delivered to our restaurant. If it wasn't originally meant to be on our flight, don't delay the flight to get it on there. I'll save you the time and tell you that there were extra delays getting off of the plane, so if you were needing to rush to connect to a flight, then you weren't going to make it. (telling everyone to sit down when you already told them to stand, flight attendants leaving the plane first, etc). If you chose to still fly Spirit, only have a carry on and BUY THE $10 FLIGHT INSURANCE. If your flight leaves on time and you don't have any connecting flights, maybe you can risk it for the price, otherwise spend the $20 more to fly on another airline!

Pros: I liked that I never flew with this airline.
Cons: My flight that was supposed to be only two hours from Baltimore to Atlanta never happened. Upon arrival to check my bag, a mere twenty minutes after receiving an "on time" email from the airline, they canceled the flight. Not delayed, straight up canceled it. The next flight offered to me would be two days later arriving late Saturday night and with a layover. Their customer service was terrible, no one cared that they were putting so many people out from families to single travelers. It was nuts. I eventually got a refund and flew out the next day on a different airline, vowing to never book with Spirit again.

Pros: The crew and the airport staff was amazing!
Cons: The horrible baggage add process. It took me a total of 6 hours to add a bag to reservation. 3 calls to customer service and hours on their broken site trying to add baggage. I finally escalated to a supervisor who said (after speaking with other representives who told me something was wrong with my browser) that I couldn't add bags to a reservation that had already been checked into. She unchecked me and I was able to add the baggage for a very large fee. Kayak- I do all my business with you but if you continue to do business with Spirit and not Southwest, I will use other sources.

Cons: Flight was cancelled, due to maintenance issue. spent all day in the airport, flight was scheduled to leave at 10am found out at. 3pm that is was cancelled, staff was very rude, gave us a card to call spirit to rebook. When called the agent couldn't help for an hr due to a system update and asked me to call back in a hr and to keep trying number. No one in the airport was willing or able to help to rebook. Conflicting information was given by the gate, check in desk and the agent on the phone. We received a $7 food voucher after waiting inline 2 hrs for it. And the only options they offered; was to fly to another airport with an 8 hr layover after being in the airport 12 hrs already and catch another flight at 7am. Or to wait two days to get a flight out of ATL. Worst part was the customer service and rude staff. I won't be flying with spirit in the future. Employees stood around instead of helping and had bad attitudes. And no clue as to flight info, or plane status to keep us updated.

Pros: I liked that we had a female pilot on this particular flight.
Cons: I had to pay to get a seat on the plane after I had bought the ticket. Seat prices ranged from $4-$20+, in addition to the plane ticket. There is not a carry on bag included in any of this so you have to pay an additional $45-$55 for a carry on and even more if you want to check a bag. There is no in flight entertainment (I like to read so this I didn't mind too much) or complimentary beverage service. Also, the seats don't recline at all. It ends up being a very uncomfortable flight for the same price you would pay for a better airline that builds that into the price instead of surprising you with fees after the fact. Will likely never fly Spirit again.

Cons: The flight was delayed by weather. However, the Spirit e-mails were inaccurate and I almost missed boarding because I believed the e-mails and the airport board. When I, by chance checked the board, I found out that the incoming plane in question had landed and, therefore, went to the gate and learned that Spirit had "secretly" moved things up and would soon close the door. Had I believed the e-mail from Spirit, I would have been left -- and they would have blamed it on me -- because I relied on Spirit's e-mails.

Pros: I almost swore off Spirit a few years ago, after terrible customer service and unclean planes etc. This trip has made me reconsider. The crew was the best asset. They were entertaining, so pleasant, joking and engaging with customers all while being professional and efficient. Better service than the "premier" airlines that I have recently flown. We were more inclined to order drinks and food onboard because we were in good spirits and felt that we didn't need to wait until touchdown to allow vacation to begin. Thank you for a great experience

Pros: The boarding was great & efficient.
Cons: Crew- Josh, a blond, & brunette. The brunette arguing with passengers. Not explaining the Spirit policy that "Everything costs including water!" Getting an attitude and stating " don't be looking at me like that after the price was stated." Then during the landing process while gathered in the back galley... Spoke about ... Hoping they don't miss there train once arriving at the airport, these people move slow, Josh - We do have 6 wheelchairs but we will see if they can miraculously walk once we arrive. The brunnette, 19f (the water passenger) better hope I don't have the marshals waiting for her, let her look at me one more time!" I was sitting in row 24... Yes I could hear it all.... Completely UNPROFESSIONAL...!

Pros: I like getting out of the airport and vowing to never fly Spirit again.
Cons: Spirit's computer system had an "error" which marked me as a security risk. I had to go through intensive security screening TWICE. I was given a hand written ticket that was not honored at the gate stating their computer error has blocked me from flying. With this status I was unable to take my flight or rebook one. Luckily I got a full refund. Definately not worth the hassle and airport drama I will NEVER fly this airline again. I feel sorry for their employees who have to deal with such a shitty system.

Cons: We had got stuck in traffic on the way to O'hare yet still arrived MORE than 45 minutes before our flight, but the Spirit airlines crew did not even give us the opportunity to ATTEMPT to check in to get our boarding passes. We missed our flight and are now out all of the money we had spent to go enjoy our first wedding anniversary together. This is unacceptable... While I understand that traffic issues fall outside of the airline's responsibility - SHOWING EMPATHY toward our situation could have made things easier, but they didn't - just very cold, non-customer service friendly, garbage. Perhaps if the Spirit airlines team was better at checking people in at the terminal, instead of having a 'who cares' mentality and allowing a 35 person line to be AT A STAND STILL, perhaps we could have made the plane, and I currently could have been writing an amazing review in Florida right now, but I'm not. I am in Indiana, trying to fight with the airline, the travel insurance agency, and others trying to re-coop my losses. this was an overall terrible experience, and I feel like a fool even attempting to try doing this. By all means feel free to contact me to discuss my frustration in person Sean Warren

Cons: No TSA pre-check, $55 fee for a carry on, crowded seating - felt like I was taking a bus. Would rather pay full price for another airline

Pros: Brand new plane, very clean. I didnt pay for any extras, so the crew didn't really do much for me, but they were friendly. Flight arrived in ATL a bit earlier than expected.
Cons: Arrived two hours before the flight and we are lucky that we did as the Spirit airline counters for checking bags at the time of this trip were a disaster. There were what seemed to be at least a couple of hundred people in line. The line had to be split into 4 areas just to give people room to move around in Terminal 4 of FLL airport. The line extended outside of the airport and was blocking the valet parking for the entire terminal. We were asked to move to a new area about 4 times and didn't make it to the counter to check our bag for at least an hour. We were very lucky to even make it to the flight on time. Upon arrival, we were unable to leave plane for at least 15 minutes. (Most likely ATL airport problem, but I'm not sure)

Cons: We were in the airport, past security, in the terminal waiting to board a plane that never showed up. Kayak sent an email saying the flight was cancelled. There was no indication from Spirit through electronic communication, notifications on their in airport boards, and there were not even any spirit employees in the airport terminal. I called spirit. They confirmed that the flight was cancelled and assured me that it was okay and that they would be able to get me on another flight... in eight days. Yes, really, 8 days. I demanded a refund, flew with another airline, and vowed to never fly spirit again.

Pros: After a Spirit Airline computer malfunction rendered us hostage (unable to leave the plane) for 4 hours, the passengers were then asked to purchase snacks and beverages. The ac /light/help button panels were falling apart, some partially dangling from the ceiling.
Cons: Spirit Airlines lacks customer service and empathy. The flight attendants that I made contact with were the absolute worst in the industry, and I can't believe they consider themselves to be "professionals". Dena, an attendant with a very unkempt appearance, did not want to be bothered by any of the passengers, and made this very clear by barking orders at anyone who may have asked her a question. I decided to call Spirit Airlines while we were stuck on the tarmac, and quickly found out why Spirit offers the "cheapest" flights. Spirit does not accept any negative feedback; There is no method of relaying a poor customer experience. As Sam from "customer service" told me, "we do not accept complaints. . . You may submit them through the spirit website. . . Someone may or may not get back with you". This is not the way a business should operate.
