I had to pay $50 fee with Jet Blue because Avianca didn't advise of the delay, and my only option home was 10 hours later in the day. I cancelled Jet Blue flight and bought another ticket home. No service between airlines who are not in the same alliance. Travelers beware!"

So now I have to return and I'm working if I will have.to.end up paying.$1000 in.total.just for my surfboard.when this could have been avoided from the start if the cs rep of Avianca would have told.me the truth or know how to do his Job. What solution can you give ,I feel very annoyed. Thank you"

She paid $10 for 2 bottles of water at the stand just before the gate and when she tried to come in again they did not allow her to go through... really a ridiculous situation!"

You'd have to go through security again. Also, the security guard accused my tall, black, injured, elderly father of being suspicious because he was sweating in spite of the fact that she wouldn't let him drink water unless he left the gate area even though he was injured. Never flying Copa again and never going to Panama again, not even for a layover."

Cons: "When you select the meal options in advance through the Copa Airlines site the phrasing of those ptions is not very clear and I was stuck with a choice I didn’t want (“meal with fruits” - it was pretty confusing in English or Spanish - while I assumed perhaps the dessert items would be substituted with fruit, instead they brought me a pretty mediocre fruit platter). They said there was no way to change this. Copa airlines personnel at Panama airport actually were kind of rude about it."

It is important to stay hydrated on flights and the small cups of water delivered twice during the flight are not sufficient. No indication was given on tickets of what meals would be served. I ended up paying for a dinner in the airport only to be served a dinner at 12:30 am on the flight. It would make more sensed to have a light snack at that hour and a better breakfast served in the morning. The US Customs card handed to me was in Spanish only. An English option would have been good."

Priority Boarding had only one security check personnel (as oppose to the six people at regular boarding). This made the boarding process very slow. The airline should allocate personal to the priority boarding first and then move them to the regular boarding once priority boarding is complete."

LATAM splits passengers into different groups: first class, special needs, priority because you paid, everybody else. That's fine at most airports. At Santiago's airport, however, passengers ride a bus from the gate to the plane, mixing up all the groups on the bus, so what's the point? Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

Pros: "It was on time and boarding was efficient. I’ve never been on a flight where they board window seats first, then middle, then aisle. I can see how that makes a lot of sense and makes the process better."
Cons: "I wasn’t sure why my small rolling luggage was being tagged and told to be left at the gate. Others had their rolling pieces brought onto the plane and there was enough room, so I was a little worried about if someone was going through it or if it would make it to the destination. It did show up."

Moreover, she failed to give us copies of our boarding pass for our connecting flight from Lima to Peru. Because of her misleading, out luggage was left in Lima and we landed in Cusco without our luggage. We are still awaiting to see where our luggage is."
Cons: "Customer service at check-in desk was incompetent. Service by flight attendants was largely rude and done with a lot of deep sighing by the flight attendants as they performed food and beverage service. They did not make me want to fly this airline every again."

I've flown to Europe with various international flight companies and LATAM has equaled such but what put it above others was the personal attention when I had a problem with luggage. In Lima, Peru there was a connection and an attendant named Sebastian went the extra mile contacting luggage handlers with his cell phone to ensure my bag was recovered and waiting at the gate of my connecting flight en route to Buenos Aires. They offered my husband & I exit row seats for no additional fee after seeing how uncomfortable his 6'3" frame was in the regular seats. The snack and beverage service was above average for a 3 hour flight."
Cons: "The wifi service was not the best and although the plane was new there was not much leg room at all and the seats were not the most comfortable, but for a 3 hour flight it wasn't too bad."

Cons: "We waited over an hour at the baggage claim carousel to collect our luggage. We received no communication or announcement about what was going on. Unnecessarily appalling customer service."

Pros: "Flight schedule, inflight service and food in couch was amazingly the best I had in a long time. The entertainment was delightful. The telephone service for questions, while in Peru, was terrible. My flight reservation number was changed and I needed to talk to someone. I had to call the States help line instead of the local number which had a non working automated answering menu."

Pros: "Not much since not only were we screened by the airport authorities but also by Latam. I purchased some water after security but had to leave it since they would not allow it on the plane. Had they let us know about this sooner I could have saved money."
Cons: "The Latam personnel who searched our bags prior to boarding put on gloves which I though was very good. The bad part was that I saw 2 members of the search party sneeze into the gloves and touch their noses without changing gloves. How disgusting!!! Never Latam again! I would rather pay a few dollars more and not put up with this health violation."

Cons: "The flight at first had a 3 HOUR delay do to a "mechanical breakdown". We were told that they were going to bring another airplane from Rio de Janeiro. After the 3 hours passed they were only announcing in Portuguese to board the original plane. They never changed planes or provided a clear explanation to the passengers. Many of us refused to board. This was one of the worse experiences I have ever had. The staff was disrespectful and would not help us. We ended up taking another flight until the following night!!"

Then, United sent me back to customer service to get a release to get me checked bag, I gave up and took a cab to Union Station. Through it all, United's customer service was horrible. I thought American was bad, but United beats them for worst customer service."

Cons: "-Flight was 2 hours delayed getting to the gate because they kept saying they were "bringing it from the hangar." Does it really take 2 hours to bring a plane from the hangar? And why didn't they bring it before our scheduled departure? -Flight was then delayed another 1.5 hours because the fueler put too much fuel on the plane so we had to wait for them to send out another fueler to take fuel off. -Meanwhile, I was late for work and almost got fired because of this mistake. -They then proceeded to put my luggage on the wrong airplane so once we landed I had to wait another 1-2 hours for my luggage to arrive. -Meanwhile, all gate attendants had terrible attitudes when dealing with customer. I will never fly United again."

Cons: "Over 2 hour delay that started with maintenance again (this happened on 2 of 3 flights for this trip), that further delayed with the plane being late and de-icing for the weather. No in-flight entertainment and smaller seating than jet blue, yikes."

Pros: "Plane was sub-standard. Bad lavatory. Stewardesses gave wrong info about arrival terminal Only small toilet in rear of plane. No toilet in front Very bad experience"
