Cons: "We arrived at the airport 5 minutes (NO more than that) after the one hour check in time to fly international going to Mexico. We were told we had to wait in line to speak with someone to print a boarding pass. There was an extremely long line with only two employees helping. We then asked if we could get our money back being that if someone has specially helped us with our case only being 5 minutes late to check in, but they declined. We had to book an entirely different flight and still have not gotten our money back. It was very stressful and unprofessional and had someone actually helped us, we would’ve arrived at our destination at the proper time we worked so hard for. I know my boyfriend and I weren’t the only people with his problem because two other families ran into the exact same avoidable problem. It felt very unprofessional. It ruined a familys vacation and caused the poor children to cry because of the lack of accommodation. We would love our money back but not sure you guys will even do so. Very disappointing."

After take off, very little air thru the opened vent. No built in screen as compared to Virgin for movies, music, and a flight map....it's about $10 to rent a tablet to watch things with Alaska. Just before landing they played a commercial advertising their credit card....Oh no, I don't want to listen to commercials on the flight. That will probably cause me to book with another carrier in the future. I HATE COMMERCIALS."

The crew were friendly and helpful. I got a cold cup of coffee when it should have been hot, and they corrected it immediately."
Cons: "They charge you for everything: sitting in an aisle or window seat ($15); checking one piece of luggage ($25); for food, even on a five hour flight, save for complementary snacks like a granola bar or pretzels. I paid $11 for a tiny sandwich (it fit in the palm of my already small hands). I will definitely get good at the airport next time. It may be just as expensive, but at least it will be filling."

I am a frequent flyer that will NEVER fly with you again and neither will the employees of my company."

My original ticket was $140 and my new ticket to get home was $350. I have never flown on an airline that makes the passenger buy a new ticket when a connection is missed. I was in the Mexico City airport and only missed my connection by 10 minutes. Very disappointed with Aeromexico. I will be emailing the airline customer service separately too."

Cons: "Flight departed over an hour late which made it stressful trying to get to connection flight. If the other flights weren't delayed also, we would have missed the flight. I paid for my luggage more than 24 hours in advance online. Website states if paid more than 24 hours in advance, the fee is $20 for one bag. I was charged $25.00 each way. Called Aeromexico and they said I had to send email to customer service. It has been 12 days and still have not received a response to my inquiry."

Cons: "The front desk crew at Guadalajara change me to an earlier flight without me having a say, this flight was delayed and took of later than my original flight. Several customers did not make their connections on time and the crew at the gate were really rude. The worst part is that the reason for the delay was that one flight attendant was running late. I do not know if it is the airline or is the Guadalajara airport but is the 3rd time in a row that I have Issues in there and noone ever says anything."

The plane for the longer flight (SFO - CUN) was a visibly older plan and the seats felt like sitting on concrete. Also, it didn't notify me while booking that the seats in front of the exit row didn't recline (or I missed it somehow), and the seats didn't just not recline - they actually leaned forward a bit! The seats themselves were VERY tightly packed - likely the tightest I've ever been in."

The self check-in machines for AA were a little "buggy" and difficult to navigate but helpful staff was readily available as were the short lines. I am 6'2" and was impressed that I had adequate leg room in my seat."

Cons: "Due to the delays, we missed our jumper flight and American refused to compensate. Also, only had two cookies all day from 8:05am until 3:45 pm! No sandwiches as promised. We were delayed approximately 4 hours total. Had to take a taxi ($85) to Fajardo to HOPEFULLY catch last ferry to Culebra. Guess AmericansAirlines doesn’t care if you have to sleep at the dock!"

Cons: "They did not have any customs and immigration forms on the plane so everyone had to pick them up as we got off the plane and fill them out before proceeding to the customs area. It was very inconvenient for all passengers since there was not a good area to fiill out the forms and it slowed everyone down. First time I can ever recall the airlines not having the forms available before we landed"

Cons: "Dinner was okay, the mid-flight snack was awful and made my wife sick, breakfast was better. Entertainment console crashed four times, first crew member didn’t seem to care (aloof for most of the flight), other attendants seemed marginally more interested. No one checked back to see if the problem was resolved. Flight attendants seem to be in “check the box” mode doing only what was necessary."

Don't gate check my bag then I find plenty of space above my seat. Stop giving people food and drink on short flights as it is unnecessary and it constrains use of the bathroom"
Cons: "The scene of returning bags at the gate of arrival is awkward and other passengers take advantage - blocking walkway etc. please change system and adt a baggage handler to drop bags in a line along one side of the gateway while passengers wait along other side of the gateway"

Pros: "It’s been a while since I’ve flown American, but the aircraft was updated with a solid multimedia system, great moving map, and a standard power plug and USB port at every seat. That’s more than I expected, and was quite happy. Service was solid—no complaints."

They forgot to bring the immigration forms onboard, only had the customs. They didn't give us pens/pencils to fill out the customs form. This made offboarding confusing and messy. What entertainment? No screens."

Cons: "Originally, I was scheduled to take a JAL flight from NRT to DFW, but for some reason, American Airlines switched the service to their own aircraft and crew. If I would have known that beforehand, I would not have purchased my ticket through AA.com. During my original online booking, the screen said JAL service from NRT to DFW. Just about everything was bad about my American Airlines flight. I travel to and from America several times a year from Asia. Each time I travel, I swear I will never fly an American based airline for the trans-Pacific portion of my flight. My latest experience with American Airlines only reinforces that resolution. The in-cabin crew is (and I'm being nice) pathetic! They are veteran flight attendants and they look and act like they could care less about the customers on the flight. Frankly, I'm just downright disgusted with the service and personalities of the American crew's attitude. They act like they are old and tired, uninterested in quality service, and that we (the passengers) are an imposition upon their life. For example, mid-flight, I walk to the back of the airplane for something to drink, instead of assisting me they point to a "station" at the Emergency Exit door stocked with random drinks and snacks. While they are chit-chatting, looking at their smartphones and reading newspapers, books, and Kindle-type devices. That has never happened on an Asian-based airline flight. Another example, in-flight food service, the cabin crew members are waking people up to serve food and, instead of being gentle and cordial, they are rude and impatient. My 2 row mates were both Asian, and because of being awakened and the ambient noise in the aircraft, they could not hear what the flight attendant was asking. So, with a tone of impatience and disrespect, the flight attendant virtually shouted at them their choices for the meal. Whatever happened to the "customer is always right" or the "customer is king"? My renewed resolution: I will no longer fly American-based (because Delta is even worse) airlines to and from Asia. If needed, I will pay the higher fees and fares to fly anyone of a number of Asian-based carriers. It is worth it for the 24 hours it takes me to cross the Pacific. I am sick and tired of the begrudged and entitled attitude of the archaic cabin crews of American-based airlines."

Cons: "This was an American Air flight and checking in and boarding were awful. The entire operation in Paris was very poorly organized. Even though I checked in online in advance, it took over an hour to get through the AA line to drop off bags."

Pros: "Everything. In flight entertainment was great and service as shops."
Cons: "No issues."

Cons: "We were not given a lot of information about takeoff and we left 2 hours late. Also, the staff was pretty unfriendly. A guy got sick and threw up, and a couple of flight attendants made a big show of it and made him feel badly."

Cons: "Food was bad even for airline standards. Seats uncomfortable. There were 2 female crew members who seemed like they didn't want to be there or cared. Movie selection was limited with not many new releases. One of the worst international flights I've been on for a long time."

Cons: "It was an hour + late. A trip I took from Washington two weeks before was late in both directions."

Pros: "The flight was on time, I like the assigned seat, and the service was pleasant."

Pros: "Flying on American Airlines like many other airlines is a frustrating experience. The added charges for baggage and seat choice are insulting when you are used to flying on southwest. It should all be covered when buying a flight. The people lining up at the door to get on the plane spill out in to the hallways and block traffic trying to get by. Southwest airlines has a number system to get on the plane and therefor avoids the crowding the entrance to get on before all the overhead space is taken. I really think american could learn a lot from Southwest airlines. I will when possible avoid this airline if there is a flight with southwest."

Cons: "I saw your email informing me that departure would be delayed almost an hour, that was sent 50 min after its scheduled departure. By then I was out of the airport, picking up my car in long-term parking, and making my miserable way back home. It was a 3 and a half hour drive to get there."

Pros: "I liked the staff at united in Pittsburgh who helped solve the real mess with my reservation"
Cons: "I did not like having my flight to Düsseldorf changed to flight to Frankfurt without being told of the change. That flight was late so I missed my connection to GVA- Frankfurt is a dreadful airport"

Cons: "The crew was the worst ever!!! Very rude ladies who spent more time on their phones then serving the customers. They sucked"

Delay landing in Venice and apparently at higher speed than normal, which created alarm at the firefighting statin in Marco Polo's airport."

Seemed aa if no one at SFO was happy to be working there or even worse didnt know what to do most of the time. VERY different than the DEN united experience."

Pros: "After boarding late, e erroneous finally got seated. Then announcement that due to weather delays (snow flurries) Newark, we were delayed and had to deplane! So, everyone gets off, slowly. Long story short we were late by about just an hour. The crew, the plane were fine, just tough to have to spend so much time at the airport sitting around and then to be delayed ( on, off and on again) is what made it a just ok trip."

Cons: "My father is 89 and our whole family went to see him off. My husband, 3 children and myself. When I went to the ticket gate to check him in, the ladies did not issue a family pass to us. They said only 1 member of our family can go with him to wheel him to the gate. So my husband went since my father had 2 carry on luggage plus he wheeled my father. So the ladies were not very understanding. At that age I do hope he makes it back in 6 months for us all to see him again! We've been issued passes before and their only excuse was it was busy which it was not at all, no lines anywhere."

Pros: "Seating is so close you can count the hairs on the passenger in front of you. Tray is too close to you and uncomfortable to even eat or drink anything. Overseas and international seating needs to be larger than short domestic flights."

Pros: "Nothing. I didn't take off yet. The flight was cancelled. I got 5 hrs sleep and had to be back at the airport, so I can have the longest day ever, but I guess that doesn't matter, because nobody does anything except shuffle you along"

Pros: "Because my flight was delayed for three hour from Pittsburgh to Chicago and sit there for eight hours until my next flight to Sacramento and I was not happy"

Cons: "There was a fumble in coordination with the gates and the guy bringing the jetway so we were delayed waiting on him. Then unboarding took a long time. With my connecting flight being a half hour after we landed i would have missed my connecting flight if the second flight hadnt have been delayed."
