Cons: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Such cave men they are!"

I could have flown this trip direct on United, but chose to fly through Atlanta on Delta for less money and a better experience from the baggage check to the gate to the in-flight experience."

The flight was delayed several times, with each new delay only being acknowledged after the previous departure time had already passed. Eventually, the flight was "delayed" to 3:15, but then it was bumped BACK to 2:45, so one woman ended up missing the flight because she had gone to the lounge based on the 3:15 departure. I accepted a voucher, but as the original flight kept getting delayed and I couldn't receive the voucher until the doors closed, I almost missed the flight I was rebooked on. If airlines would just communicate better (e.g., tell us there's a delay *before the departure time has passed*), people would be much more willing to deal with the hassle."

Cons: "The AA station in Madison (MSN) is notoriously SLOW in downloading bags from the plane and getting them to the baggage claim. So far this flight ot is about 30 minutes from when the plane pulled into the gate and still no bags yet."

Delay landing in Venice and apparently at higher speed than normal, which created alarm at the firefighting statin in Marco Polo's airport."

Cons: "There was a gate change and I did not receive notification. There was no email, text or app change nor was it announced over the loud speaker. I had to get a hotel for the night and I'm flying standby in the morning."

Cons: "I don't have a problem with a flight being delayed for any reason. That is simply one of the hazards of flying. However, the PIT->ORD flight was delayed multiple times for unknown reasons. If the airline would have given a realistic timetable, customers could have managed their time much easier. Instead, United Airlines kept delaying takeoff for 15-20 minutes, multiple times. When they finally get the customers into the boarding process, they act like they're doing you a favor. Poorly managed, customers manipulated."

In the last minute, someone didn't show up, and I got on the flight. I don't believe they tried hard enough to give vouchers away to the passengers. In addition to that, why was it overbooked to begin with? This is either a major error by KAYAK or United. Either way - awful experience to go through at 6:30am."

Cons: "The male gate agent in pittsburgh was the rudest and least helpful person I have every met in all my travels. When flight was delayed for weather reasons, and looking like we might not connect in ORD he could only say 'call united'"

Cons: "Recent airline corporation consolidation has greatly reduced consumer choice. The surviving major airlines, in their effort to cut costs, sacrifice quality control and assurance. Pittsburgh's status as "no longer a major hub" was on full display here. United needed to have customer service agents available on site, but they did not. The review could easily turn into an essay on United's complete failure (ask the remaining passengers who were supposed to be on the PIT-IAD), but such a review would not change the state of affairs in the airline industry. I will be contacting United reps to lodge an official complaint."

We were heavily compensated and the staff were as generous as they could be, but it was completely frustrating and upsetting when you have to go through that, after ahead time planning to be booted off a flight like that."

Cons: "I was traveling for the first time in crutches. As soon as I approached the check-in counter, the lady at the counter asked me rudely "Are you checking in any luggage?". I first told her that I requested assistance getting to the gate and asked if it would be by a wheelchair or a cart. She didn't answer the question, and repeated the same question. Since I had one carry-on size bag, I asked if I need to check it in, or if I can bring it with me when they help me get to the gate. To which she replied in a very irritated tone, "I'm asking you if you need to check it in! Can you bring the bag on-board and put it away in the overhead bin YOURSELF WITHOUT ANY HELP?", hinting that no one will provide any help... At this point, I went ahead and checked in my bag. Thank God the wheelchair service is provided by a separate vendor, because he was wonderful and helpful. While we waited to board, the flight was delayed a few times. I could not hear the announcement from where I was sitting, but I noticed people started to make a line by the central info counter. 4:42pm, I received the cancellation notice via email. Because of my injury, I was unable to wait in line for long, so I chose to sit and wait next to the counter, until the line got shorter. 1 hour later, the line was growing even longer. 6pm, I re-booked a new flight for the next day via iPhone app, however, it was still showing the old boarding pass that I was automatically re-booked for. I still had to talk to someone from United to confirm, also to ask for wheelchair to get back to the main building, so I continued to wait. At one point, one of the United employees moved to the side counter to make a call re: another flight that arrived. I went and stood right in front of her and said "Excuse me, I have a quick question about wheelchair service". She looked at me right in my eyes, but she started talking to the other person on the phone. After she hung up, she ignored me and went back to the center counter, leaving me confused as to what just happened... At this point, I did not even want to make another attempt to ask for help. 7:20pm, the line went down to 3 people; a gentleman with a bad knee, another gentleman with a bad leg and myself on crutches... Am I the only one to think there is something wrong with this picture? 7:40pm, I was finally on the way back to the main building with a wheelchair service, which by the way is run by a group of amazing people. I am not complaining about the delays and cancellations. I understand it happens. I am not expecting that someone like me with temporary disability automatically receives first place in line. I do, however, wish United was more aware of some people who are in need of assistance, while being fair to other passengers. I cannot imagine how difficult it is for people with disabilities to travel with United Airlines."

Pros: "Plenty of leg room but I had the very back seat so it doesn't lean back"

Cons: "Airline did not provided information ahead of time related to carry on being checked on the gate bc of size. My carry on was small and still was checked at the gate because the aircraft did not have space for it. I was not provided with that information ahead of time"

Cons: "There was a fumble in coordination with the gates and the guy bringing the jetway so we were delayed waiting on him. Then unboarding took a long time. With my connecting flight being a half hour after we landed i would have missed my connecting flight if the second flight hadnt have been delayed."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing, the flight was cancelled and the airline offered little or no assistance."
Cons: "The flight was cancelled and we needed to return home for work the next day. It was the last flight out so we asked about a ground transportation voucher. The telephone agent told us to see the customer service rep at the terminal counter. After waiting inline for almost 45 minutes we asked an agent who was standing there about a voucher. She checked with a supervisor and said they would not provide them, we would have to wait to see an agent. Rather than miss the next bus to be delayed another 2 hours waiting for someone to tell us they wouldn't do anything for us, we left the line and purchased bus tickets. We had to pick up our luggage at the airport because we 'missed' our flight rather having it delivered. We understand flight cancelations but at no time during the process, especially at the airport, did we ever get the impression that anyone cared about us or what happened to us. We will avoid this airline."

Pros: "I sat in exit row. Since I am tall , I enjoyed having leg room Each seat had a screen and Wi Fi availability."
Cons: "The lack of air conditioning in the economy section. Noticeably cooler in the front an middle section of the plane. Rear of plane warm. The less you pay the less comfort a customer receive? Plane fares are expensive for everyone. Even those who buy economy should ride with comfortable seating and temperature."

Cons: "Customer service would not let me take flight home from reservation and only resolution was an additional 200 fee plus the price difference in cost of ticket There is no logical reason why the airline would attempt to charge additional fees in this circumstance as my first leg I allowed an open seat for standby passengers which benefited United monetarily should this have been a non rev passenger and essentially the cost I paid for round trip I was only asking to use for one way due to emergency circumstances. I strongly suggest having a valid reason outside of taking advantage of people by overcharging because the customer is at the airlines mercy. Simply wrong!"

Cons: "Due to issues beyond control we were delayed 5 hours. We all understood that. But the pilots gave very few updates as we sat on the plane. We were sitting on the plane for 3 hours before being left off to go to the bathroom and eat. Of course the maximum time that they can keep us trapped on the plane doesn't count until they shut the doors of the aircraft. Please respect your travelers with updates, we can handle it."

Pros: "Weather is fine here, but a delay in a different city turned into 4 hours of waiting. The $10 voucher really made me feel better though! Total disorganization, it all stemmed from a delayed flight 5 days ago that snowballed into this. Crazy, only fly these guys if you have no other choice."

Pros: "Do not use frontier. There was a snow storm 4 days ago and frontier us still delaying every flight. All other airlines on time. Flight in was delayed3.5 hrs and return was delayed 3hrs. Again it has been sunshine and nice the last 3 days but frontier insits the issues are not there fault but weather related. Pay the extra money and fly anyone else."

Pros: "Worst airline ever. Cancelled the flight due to operational issues and had nothing to offer except a flight 4 days later. Total waste of time and money."
Cons: "Respectable airlines will offer you something to get to your destination - booked on another airline or at least a hotel if you are stuck. This is not a respectable airline."

Pros: "Equipment was relatively new so no issues there. Orderly boarding and clean cabin. Flight crew did a superb job! Cabin crew were polite and accommodating enough. Gate agents were efficient and friendly, Can't comment on the quality/quantity of food or beverage as I opted not to give them any more money, Make sure to download the Frontier app on your device BEFORE boarding or you will have NO entertainment available! The entertainment is complimentary but there's a charge for internet."
Cons: "I had discovered the carry-on bag charges AFTER purchasing the ticket online which is a bit underhanded. My 'bargain' ticket was now the same price as every other airline plus the 'privilege' of food and beverage purchase whereas all the vanguard carriers still offer free carry-on, snacks and soft drinks. BTW unless you're drunk or completely exhausted, don't plan on getting much sleep: the seats were made with some of the thinnest padding I've experienced and you might get 3-4 inches of recline, IF you can locate the lever! IMPORTANT!! If you don't order THE WORKS pkg ($55) when you INITIALLY pay for your ticket, which includes refund waiver along with check-in, carry-on and seat choice, you're stuck with THE PERKS ($45) which has all the above EXCEPT the refund waiver. The refund fee is $99! You can do everything a la carte, but will cost more beyond 1 bag. BTW, do it all online or you'll pay more at the airport. All in all, absolutely fine for the price if you have a personal sized item (i.e. up to a small backpack) but a standard size carry-on or check-in will definitely put a wrinkle in your flight budget!"

Pros: "Smooth flight, friendly crew. Had no problem boarding, or getting my seat."
Cons: "I felt that the additional cost for carrying on my bag was high, by the time you pay that, the price of the ticket is almost equal to other airlines. If you change your seat there's an additional charge for that. Also, I do like the fact that the airline charges for non-alcoholic beverages. I'm not sure if they charged for water, but they charge $2.99 for a regular sized can of Coke. I think that leaves the public with the feeling that they're being ripped off. Not good."

Cons: "Had to sit on the tarmac about 30 minutes on arrival in Indianapolis because another aircraft was at our gate. Why couldn't we have gone to a different gate? Arrival was at about 9pm and the airport wan't that busy. This was uncomfortable. Would have been a good time to hand out free snacks and beverages or drink coupons for a future flight."

Cons: "Flight was delayed for 4.5 hours for maintenance issues, we had to cancel all of the plans I made for the day. I was at the airport for nearly 7 hours and then had to wait on the replacement plane to refuel for over an hour after boarding. Awful."

Cons: "Flight was 7 hours late because of staffing error and you have to buy all refreshments and basic courtesies."

Cons: "Frontier is a bait and switch operation. They offer discount fares and when you get to ticketing you discover that they charge $40 for checked bags and $45 for carry on bags!!! I can understand the checked baggage fee only if it was made known prior to purchase but charging more for carry on bags. Also, the staff at the ticketing counter are rude and obviously selected and trained to make sure that they get every penny of their ruthless money. I have flown my first and only flight with Frontier and will never do so again."

Cons: "No beverage offered except at cost....I am used to having soda or juice on other flights. Delay time at departing airport and no explanation offered. We sat for at least 30 minutes and could see a Frontier plane in distance moving around outside. Customers did not know what was occurring in that situation."

Cons: "the boarding pass was wrong. The check in clerk forgot to tag my bag with the any tag.so it stayed in Phila. They did deliver it on Wednesday to my house. Thank you."

Cons: "Frontier has numerous fees, including fee for seat assignment, fee to "carry on" bag, charges for coffee and soda, etc. we will never fly that airline again. Seat room is smallest of any plane we've been on (and that's saying quite a bit)."

There wasn't even a magazine for me to look at while on the plane. Really disappointing experience from stem to stern"

Pros: "Long Flight Delay Due to Weather, Strong Thunderstorms and Tornado warnings. Handled Delay well and boarded when appropriate."

Pros: "Crew was friendly, and we got in early. That being said, the seats are bare bones (tiny table, no reclining, armrest doesn't fold up flush with the seat), and my bag didn't make the flight. Drinks, snacks, and carry-on also all cost money, which isn't so fun."

Cons: "Flight was delayed with no communication. Bag was lost, took them three days to find it and get it back to me. Didn't offer to reimburse me for the $30 I spent to check the bag. Had to call to get updates on the status of the bag, which they never had any information. Not to mention them trying to push their credit card on you during the whole flight."

Pros: "Base price. Plane seemed newer and was clean."
Cons: "Staff was a bit rude. Tray table was comically small though with absolutely no complimentary food or drink I suppose it doesn't matter. Extremely thin padding on seats making them quite uncomfortable. While the base fee is low, once you factor in all of the fees for check bags, carry on bags, snacks or a drink while on-board, and paying to guarantee you have seats together, you might as well just fly Southwest because Frontier will likely be no cheaper or just barely."

Pros: "always professional"
Cons: "I had to book a secondary flight, my bother DIED unexpectedly, and there was business... not compassion thrown at me. I completely understand business, but geez???????"

Cons: "The cabin crew can be a bit more friendly. There were several exit-row seats empty and I saw they asked somebody to leave one of those who swapped seats during the flight. If this is the company's policy, they can announce it in the beginning which would make things easier."

Cons: "Delayed with no information given. No charger ports."
