Avianca forced to to travel for over 36 hours and continued to have all of my rerouted flights delayed. It was the worst travel experience of my life and i received no help or compensation for missing all of my other flights. All thy gave me was one stale muffin. I will never fly with this airline again."

They took our drinks away. Afterwards, half tbe people had nowhere to sit. We had to stay in or section, we could not leave to go to the bathroom or go get anything to drink with out being screened again. This process started about 1 hour and 45 minutes before the flight. The technology in the flight was old, we were not able to see where our flight was in it travel path."

They said at the D.C. airport we would receive an email within 24 hours regarding our luggage. We didn't. They gave us a # to call - no one answered that #. We were supposed to get an email with our case # - we didn't. We were told on the plane we would get a bag of necessities - but we didn't. My husband had to keep calling different #'s to try to get ahold of someone to tell them about our luggage."

Cons: "We were faced with many difficulties throughout the process including delays at every stage (plane boarding, takeoff, bus shuttles, etc.) of four different flights. The flight to Panama City was a significantly more enjoyable experience, but the return trip was absolutely miserable. After being boarded, we waited on the runway with no explanation for over a half hour. Then the flight staff came through with a very mediocre dinner and drink; however, they never came back for anything else until the customs form, and any attempts to flag them down were fruitless. When I finally got their attention, I requested water, and never received it. It was an incredibly frustrating and thirsty experience."
Boarding went fine, the plane was clean, and the crew was very friendly. Seats were a bit cramped, but that seems to be typical on all airlines anymore. Cookies and pretzels were offered as were beverages - the usual. I’d fly American again.

Cons: "american airlines does not care about the privacy of their passengers. even after several calls my information wasn't updated correctly and my flight confirmation was passed along to members who weren't even traveling. there was no in flight entertainment and in order to pick seats together i needed to pay extra (i thought i was flying with american not spirit) apparently the only way i can be helped is writing a letter to customer service which they will review within 10 business days. Cons: "Told me that if I checked my carry on bag at gate, I'd be able to pick bag up from from the gate at the other end. Instead it went to baggage claim with took more than 30 minutes."
Cons: "The departure was delated more than 30 minutes and the arrival disembarking was to slow."
Pros: "It was on time and there was a pillow & blanket waiting in every seat."
Cons: "Poor video screens, no choice in fils without downloading & paying for their WiFi, and film language kept changing randomly from English to Italian!?!"
Pros: "the flight attendants were very professional on this flight. the lead attendant was very personable when giving announcements and going through the safety procedures on the public address system. the other two attendants were also very professional in their services as well."
Cons: "flight 1920 was almost an hour late with boarding. I am extremely upset because I paid an extra $75.00 on day of to get home earlier but ended up getting home at the same time that I would have on my original flight because the flight was late and I missed my shuttle because 1920 was late boarding. I should be reimbursed SOMETHING for my inconvenience...especially after paying $75.00 extra for an earlier flight."
