Cons: "Flight was super hot! And uncomfortable. Not sure if A/C was working"

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to a missing officer. Because of this, I missed my flight from Chicago to Narita Japan. I had to cancel the hotel in Japan and pay $120 cancellation fee. The customer service changed my flight to go to Dallas/Fort Worth TX then fly to Narita Japan next day. They gave me vouchers for hotel stay and meal ($12) which are absolutely minimal compensation after all this headaches. They were unable to upgrade my seat since they’re full. Now the flight to Narita is 2 hour delay and they have changed the gate at least twice. I’m worried if I can get on the next connecting flight to Sapporo due to this delayed schedule. I feel like this whole trip is ruined because the delayed flight from Philadelphia to Chicago. This has been my worst and the most ridiculous flight experience ever. I don’t think I ever want to fly with American Airlines in the future."

We were unable to board our flight at the Philadelphia airport because when we arrived (almost 2 hours before our flight) the ticket counter was already closed for the evening. No one from American Airlines could help us. We were left stranded at the ticket counter until it reopened at 3:15 am. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the poor service we received from American Airlines. After hearing multiple horror stories from others, it is safe to say we will never fly that airline again."

Pros: "I fly weekly, but try never to book United because there are always issues with my support animal. Without fail, regardless of the city, the agents at check-in do not know what to do. Each time I'm met with annoyance at having to check me in, and I usually end up calling either the disabilities desk and handing the agent my phone, or asking for the CRO. I have to leave an extra 45 minutes to accommodate flying United every time -- ridiculous. This time I also got a load of unprofessional gate agents cooing and awwing at my my support animal, and trying to pet him. When this happens I always simply state, "please don't" and this was key with rudeness as well. United please provide us with more professional and adequately trained staff at the airports. Once we're on the planes it's fine. But you seem to have VERY low hiring standards for airport staff"

I was impressed that the airline sent an email suggesting a change of itinerary due to weather in Chicago, and waived change fees to facilitate this. I got home without cancelled or delayed flights."

I received no notice to check in for my departing flight, and had to dig through several messages and 2 websites to find the appropriate confirmation number. It should be clearer who you are actually purchasing from, and there should be better fail-safes in place to prevent loss of information"

Cons: "Crew was rude, not just to me, but to other patrons. Flight was packed going and the man scanning boarding passes spoke to those of us asking simple questions as if we were stupid and defiant. Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

Let's start with booking and the lack of knowledge, inability to listen and respond in an appropriate manner, and the fact that after I asked to speak to a manager due to the previous issues with the agent, and after being transferred all I needed was some understanding and support due to a family emergency and instead I get a short rude push back and then hung up on by the manager after I expressed my struggle and desperation for help. The lack of empathy and just the overall experience was beyond horrible, and if it wasn't for the desperate situation I was in I would have never used your services."

I've been traveling as a frequent flyer member on united and American for five years and I was considering joining frontier'/ program but after this experience I need to reevaluate."

Cons: "The flight was fine but it was delayed at the last minute which was annoying. There was no communication by gate staff about what was going on and that was frustrating and confusing. I liked receiving updates via email, but the human touch would have been nice too. The gate staff seemed very overwhelmed by the situation and I don't think she handled it well. I heard that meal vouchers were being distributed but I didn't learn this until we were getting ready to board the flight so I didn't receive a voucher and I didn't get dinner."

Cons: "Kayak quoted ticket prices in search results that were not consistent and I didn't know off the top of my head that Frontier makes you pay for all luggage, even carry ons. The woman at the ticket counter did not notice my luggage and let me know that I needed to pay extra for it, so I paid twice as much at the gate ($60) after being pulled out of the boarding line. These results should be marked differently so it's not so difficult to figure out which tickets are actually less expensive. Only water on the flight (unless you want to buy a can of soda for $5), only one chance to get water, food is also only for purchase. No entertainment options. An oil slick of grease and grime over my window. Very, very unimpressed."

Even a cup of water on the flight is not included (costs $), they try to charge for even carry-on luggage on online check-in (what other airline even does that??? I recommend skipping that step - they didn't even ask anyway). Crammed seats and tiny trays. The return flight included a technical problem where they had everyone get off the plane and board another one after more delays. I will never fly Frontier ever again, even if flights cost $1."

However when we got to Chicago we sat on the Tarmac waiting for our gate to clear and it never did. 40 minutes later they get a new gate only to move to that position and wait for an additional 15 minutes. All the while I am sitting in a window seat that smells of pretzels every time I look out. Not the fresh out of the oven kind. The people on the flight were getting unruly. We are coming from Philadelpha so that is to be expected. I have already sworn off spirit and I will have to consider carefully flying frontier again. Let's see what the flight home holds for me. T-"

I nearly missed my flight. I paid $60+ each way for my bag and seat which i found to be ridiculously over priced! Seats were awful, and were only accommodated with water as a beverage option."

Cons: "The stewardesses were rude. They had terrible manners, and called the police on one passenger who was not being unruly, but who questioned them so they continually harassed him."

Pros: "The flight cost was cheap, but was never informed that carrying on a bag I would have to pay for it. Wasn't aware that I would also be charged for selecting my seat. Beverages, including water, and food were also not included in the cost, and were relatively expensive. I used the app to check in 24 hours before my flight. I arrived at the airport and wanted to double check that I was checked in for my flight because I felt uneasy about it. The women at the check in said the mobile app does not count as a boarding pass and etc. So I needed to wait to be checked in. While getting in line to board the plane, a couple infront of me had their boarding passes on their phones and had no problem boarding with the app. I think there was a little miscommunication with the app and workers."

Pros: "Good price for ticket. Plane boarded quickly and left and arrived on time."
Cons: "Frontier "nickle dimes" you to death. Charge for seat, charge for luggage, charge for something to drink. Add it all up and I'm not sure it is any cheaper."

Cons: "Delayed 1.5 hours because of "computer systems failure" on the way there; delayed 3 hours because of "computer systems failure" on the way back. Both delays sitting on tarmac. Staff rude and flustered. Don't forget about hidden baggage and seat booking fees. This will be my final Frontier."

Cons: "i bought my round trip ticket for $65. It ended up being $140 with cost of checking bags and the hidden fee of having to pay for your seat. Not sure why I had to pay an additional $13 each way for my seat. Shouldn't that be included in the $65 ticket price? I could understand if I wanted stretch seating, but for non-stretch seating I had to still pay. Not to mention on the way back to Philly we were delayed for over 2 1/2 hours on the runway. They said initially it was due to computer glitches. Then they told us we needed to go back to a gate to pick up two pilots who missed this flight. That took over and hour for a available gate to open up. Then when the pilots finally boarded we had to now refuel the plane. Apparently, the fuel guy went home for the night, so they needed to find someone else to refuel the plane. It was just one joke after another. We were suppose to land in Phily at 11pm est. Instead we landed at almost 1:30am. A lot of us had to work the next morning or had people picking us up from the airport. I live in Delaware and I didn't get home until after 2:30am. They sent us a $25 voucher towards our next flight with them. Only $25? That will only cover the price of your checked bag one way. Also, on the way to Chicago one of the flight attendants, I believe his name was Reynoldo, was very disrespectful. He spent most of the flight talking to this one family. He ended up telling the one son about how he should never get tattoos because he will never go anywhere in life, and people who get them are stupid and just want to ruin their lives by getting tattoos. Now, I fully understand getting tattoos is a choice, but both my husband and I have respectable jobs. We both have tattoos and that has never gotten in the way of us getting a job. I did not appreciate listening to this for a good period of time. He didn't seemed to care who might be on the flight around him and offended by him. So, all and all I don't know how likely I'll ever fly Frontier again."

Pros: "Clean new airplane, communicative crew, seem to know a lot of the regulars. Flight left on time and was was very smooth."
Cons: "When we got to Chicago, had to wait on Tarmac for 40 minutes to get a gate."

Cons: "paying for having a seat after buying the ticket is the least customer friendly i can imagine. it ruined my trip."

SO had to pay another 126 dollars to be able to fly to see family. Didn't feel that was fair, due to wreck on toll way to get to airport. But other than that, service, boarding, flite, hostess, luggage and convince even pilots were absolutely generally wonderful and professional. Great breath of fresh air. Cons: "The seats were too cramped together. They over priced the carry on luggage. The return trip from Houston to Philadelphia, I was in the airport from 5am until 11pm in the airport. In Houston, we spent 1.5 hours on the hot airplane with no AC then they deplaned and put us back on another plane for 1 hour and then those trying to get to Philadelphia were asked to deplane again. When about 10 of us got off this flight, they told us unfortunately there were only three seats available to Atlanta and then Philadelphia. I had to beg for one of the seats because I would have been fired from my job and I had patients already scheduled to see the following day. In Atlanta, I had to spend more money to eat dinner and wait from 4pm until 8:45pm when we finally boarded the air craft because it was constantly delayed every hour. Lastly, when I got to Philadelphia at 10:30pm I spent another 30 minutes filling paper work out because they lost my luggage and the other passage that flew with me as well. Spirits never even offered a food voucher or explained to us why everything was delayed or even apologized. It was a terrible experience."

Cons: "seats are too cramped. Passenger behind me kept kicking my seat the entire time (and she was a grown woman). People leaving the fight need to be told to be orderly. I had to calm down a verbal confrontation between two men because one guy try to rush from off from the back of the plane and bumped into another man. Crew did nothing, if I wouldn't have stopped the confrontation it may have gotten ugly."

Cons: "Could have done without the sales pitch for your credit card. Had a layover so had to listen to it twice. Also, the price for the bags were over the top especially since the weight limit was 40 pounds."

Cons: "My 6:00 AM flight was cancelled but didn't find that out until I got to the airport at 4:45AM. The two options Spirit gives you is to put you on the next flight tomorrow at 6AM or refund your money. I was lucky to purchase a flight on an airline with a real schedule for later that morning. That flight was practically empty. It is a shame that Spirit doesn't have the customer service to accommodate it's passengers on to other flights. Low cost fares are appealing but more of a hassle than they are worth when the airline has little to no contingency plans. An I'm sorry and a $15 voucher can't get you back 24 hours of time or the money folks who choose low cost carriers have to waste on getting back and forth to the airport or spend on hotels in the area."

Pros: "I was stuck in security for an inordinate amount of time and was two minutes late after the gate closure. I was refused and sent back to the ticket counter to rebook a flight that would cost twice the amount of the original ticket and arrive a day later. Spirit is the worst. Got a new flight on American Airlines for much less booked that moment and have gotten so much better customer service ever since. Yes, spirit is cheap but they are terrible with customer service. Never flying again with them."
