Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

Cons: "Delta Flight #1661 I paid for 1st class. My first flight was late so I arrived at the gate after boarding began. When the gate attendant scanned my ticket another printed. When he handed me the ticket my seat had changed to seat 25E. I told the attendant that I had paid for first class. He asked me to step aside while he contacted his supervisor, Joe. Then I had to wait until ENTIRE flight had boarded which defeated part of the reason I paid for the upgrade. This was on top of the fact I was so thirsty because 1st flight didn't have drink service and because it was late I had to book it to the connection arriving sweaty, hot and needing to use the bathroom. I was told they had given my seat away to someone as a free upgrade. Joe offered me a $100 voucher to take other seat which was less than I paid for 1st class, plus the seat was a middle seat in the rear of the plane. When I told him as much, he tried to manipulate me by telling me that they would have to kick someone out of my seat. When I declined the downgrade, they made me stand by while they kicked someone out of my seat which was embarrassing and humiliating. Then, when they handed me a new boarding pass, it was not the seat I had paid for and selected, instead it was in the first row, which I’ve always hated because there is no under seat storage and I cannot keep my backpack with me. When I pay for first class, it is primarily so that I can board first and so that I have extra room to work (which I need access to my bag to do). While I was trying to take out the minimum of the things I needed from my bag and figure out how to manage without it, 3 times a flight attendant told me they had to take my bag (since I was the last person to board they tried to prevent me from using the bathroom and they were anxious to leave early). I tried to explain that Delta had prevented me from boarding earlier and that they gave away the seat I paid for which was NOT the first row."

After about 1:00 hr back to the air craft for over one hour then the flight lift up to Orlando, I missed my appointment that was very desapointed with frontier Air line."

Flight going to Orlando ran 1/2 hour or so late till we took off. Good price on ticket but till u add all the extra charges, same as other airlines. Probably will not use Frontier again. Sorry"

Cons: "My bags was left in Philly by them ... Then when I was calling to find out where was my bags nobody seemed to care !!!!!!! Then they said my bag would be on the next flight but it wasn't ... It was on the last flight that came to Orlando... Then they said they would drop it off but when I called back they said I have to pick it up ..... I paid 125$ for my 3 bags for this happen !!!!"

Pros: "The only thing I liked was leaving Ft. Lauderdale's filthy airport and proceeding in my trip. Absolutely unimpressed."
Cons: "As I mentioned, the fly from Lauderdale to Philadelphia was close to terrible. Unfriendly and rude TSA, expensive parking, dirty and unclean environment. Spirit air was unimpressive and I will be flying Delta from now on. Hidden fees and felt like cattle on the aircraft. Thumbs down."

Cons: "Its not my mistake i missed the flight. The spirit airlines website alerted that flight is delayed to 10:05 p.m and original departure is 7:00 P.M. But later at 7:19 P.M i see in the website that flight is leaving at 7:20 P.M. I missed the flight because of their false website alerts. I request the spirit airline counter receptionist and she said i cant help you, i will not refund your money. She is so rude. I Will never choose spirit again and tell as much as people i encounter not to choose spirit. I lost 170$ as i have to purchase another ticket fly next day."

Pros: "Nothing! Grateful for a safe landing"
Cons: "Charge too much for luggage; uncomfortable seats; nothing to drink or snacks on flight; flight delayed; I will NEVER fly spirit again, the price is NOT worth it; first and LAST time flying this airline. Just HORRIBLE"

Cons: "Bad service, not on time, costly add ons... go with a different carrier."

Cons: "Two hour delay. Suckered on every nickel and dime "extra." However, there was no offer of reimbursement for my inconvenience due to delay. And no, the delay was not due to weather but due to their inadequate scheduling."

Pros: "The airplanes got me from point A to point B. That was literally all I got so I guess for the most part Spirit did what it's supposed to do as an airline."
Cons: "I didn't like all the hubbub about them skimping on everything that makes normal flights slightly enjoyable then "passing the savings on to the consumer". The tickets were maybe $20 cheaper than other airlines and we couldn't even get a cup of water on the flight, the planes were dirty on the inside and worst of all that stupid carry on rule. I just don't see the benefits. Next time I'll pay the extra 20 bucks for a regular airline to save myself all the inconveniences."

Cons: "The charges for seats, carry-on, and checked bags are incredibly outrageously high. The added costs makes the flight way more than flying on another airline."

Cons: "the personal at the airport was super rude, so i canceled the trip and booked with united right at the airport!!!"

Pros: "The only saving grace was a flight attendant honoring my request row with seats up out of the middle seat"
Cons: "The chairs are awful--like siting on cardboard. And the $55 carryon fee was like getting hoodwinked and scammed. So much for saving money on spirit. Trust I'll never fly the airline again."

Pros: "I was feeling well, and ended up throwing up with the increased turbulence. I had a feeling it was coming so I was proactive and asked for a trash bag. The flight attendant was very sympathetic and gave me ginger ale to settle my stomach (without me asking). It's the small things. I also did random sears and got lucky to get the upgraded seats both times !"
Cons: "The flight was delayed, undelayed and delayed again. They began to board the plane and didn't realize the pilot was not on board so we had to get off. I didn't have any carry-ons or checked luggage, but there prices as ridiculous for luggage."

Pros: "The plane crew was aware of the issues and tried to smooth out"
Cons: "Boarding pricess was out of hell. Almost missed my flight because I was asked to step aside because I had a carry on. Never have a paid $100 for a carry on. This was my first and last Spirit flight. Stay away."

Cons: "The absolute WORST phone customer service."

Cons: "That i was charged $50 for a carry on, I was told due to the size and semi hard cover. The person traveling with me had a much larger bag, but it was a soft duffle bag. i saw other people getting on the same flight with larger bags the same style as mine. I was told that they used the KIOSK. I used the check in counter. I had to pay for a bag that was smaller and then wait for my bag once we landed. This was the low point of my trip to Atlanta. Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "They cancelled our flight from Philly and we were rebooked on two different flights that we missed because spirit didn't pay for the ticket in time. We finally made it to Tampa 12 hours after our flight was cancelled."

Pros: "Notification of the cancelled flight was provided in a timely fashion. Alternative travel options were offered and provided to us at no extra charge to us."
Cons: "When providing us alternative travel arrangements, Spirit staff took the easiest alternative flights rather than looking a little longer to provide alternatives that more closely matched our original travel agenda. Instead of a direct flight from Philly to Atlanta with a two hour travel time, we were offered a 6 hour ordeal with two stops, Boston and Charlotte."

Pros: "I got to where I needed to be."
Cons: "Both of my flights were at least 40-45 minutes late, which made me 40-45 minutes late. One of the crew members was rude. I will not be flying with Spirit ever again."

Cons: "Late boarding."

Cons: "For the first hour there was no one at the gate who knew any information about our flight. It seems that it was almost forgotten, until people were called in. Unprofessional. TERRIBLE."

Pros: "We didnt receive our suitcase in GA (12/22). we waited at the airport for 3 horus and they couldnt figure out where the suitcase went. Then we filled a claim form. my Fatherinlaw was in the car waiting for us for 3 hours. We went home and realized my meds are in the suitcase. I called a few times but they still couldnt track the bag. We had to go shopping for clothes because we had a party that night and I had to buy cosmetic, clothes, toilterites, etc. it was a waste of time. Time I could be spending with my family. Me, my husband and my inlaws called a few times next day (12/23) asking for an update but no one had a clue where the bag is. At this point, we had no idea where to bag is so we had to go shopping again and buy more clothes for next few days. Again, more time, money, gas in car, other people time that had to drive us invested… it was very frustrating. I take a lot of meds which makes me anxious and this created a huge stress on my Christmas vacation. All of my gifts I got for our family was in the suitcase. This was a very frustrating time for me and my husband, not knowing if the family will have gifts ontime. Also, my laptop charger was in the suitcase so I had to take days off from work. We called again a few times on 12/24. we called in again and no answer. We drove all the way to the airport and spoke to a really nice lady. We were at the airport for hours. She couldn’t track the luggage so we went home disappointed. Keep in mind, this was Christmas eve and I could have spent all this time shopping, driving to the airport, to busy stores. By this time I gave up on the bag and accepted we have lost it… I was very very upset because all of my gifts, new clothes I got for the vacation, my cosmetic, my husband’s electronics… We had more than 3K worth stuff in the suitcase. I couldn’t even get hold of the customer service to talk to someone. This was Christmas eve.. and my husband was still trying to call someone. Finally got hold of someone and they said that the bag was in Philly and will get to the house next day 1pm. Ok, great, atleast they could track the bag… Anyways, 1pm next day, no bag..we tried calling all day, but no answer. Finally my husband got hold of someone and they said that the bag will be deliver Xmas night. WOW! But ok. Whtever at this point. We waited all evening.. then called again. They didn’t answer. Finally around 10pm they answered and told my husband that we are 5th in line for the bag delivery and they wont be able to get to us until late in the night. My husband agreed to the time. They called us 230am and asked to verify address which I am glad they did because they had a wrong address. Anyways, my husband was on the phone texting/ calling for directions and finally the bag came at 4am…. The suitcase was damaged. Gladly nothing was missing… HOWEVER, the frustration for the whole week made my Christmas trip a really bad one… I am very big on customer service so it frustrates me that we were not able to contact anyone to get answer.. I understand that the luggage could get lost but not being able to track it for days while you are on vacation in a different state??!!! It was the most frustrating thing me and my family had to deal with."

Cons: "Having to wait on the tarmac while someone looked for a key to the; having to wait another hour for someone to find a wheelchair to remove a passenger, assigning two people to the same seat."

Pros: "Very little"
Cons: "They broke my bag very durable fiberglass suitcase, my seat was very uncomfortable, all of the lines were incredibly long, and worst of all none of the agents were even a little bit nice."

Pros: "The flight was fine, overall. I was glad it was under 2 hours,"
Cons: "The check in required a lot of fees for luggage. High fees. Then for my return checkin I even had to pay for a seat! I thought I had paid for my seat! Not an upgraded, just regular seat. Unless forced, I will never take spirit again. Like so many others I talked to."
