I feel that choosing where to sit, should be free. I also feel that small carry on bags on wheels should be allowed aboard the plane for free. I traveled on American Airlines and these 2 items were free of charge. I travel on Frontier Airlines because it starts out reasonable, but when you have to pay for your bags, it gets ridiculous. Then you have to pay for seating or get placed in a seat that doesn't make the ride comfortable. That raises the price right up there with American Airlines. Consider what I am conveying and change what you are offering your consumers. Thank you

At that time, there was NO ONE at the Frontier check in to explain what was going on. I understand there was excessive wind in Denver, but there should have at least been a Frontier representative at the gate in Dallas. On my way home, again the flight was delayed by an hour because of something on a previous leg. Because of this, I am going to go with any other airline first. I think Frontier should either co-op with other airlines to get people to their destinations on time or have more planes.......or AT LEAST have someone at the gate to offer next day service or a voucher or a free snack or something. I also do not like the whole A LA CARTE theme with this airline and Spirit Air. I do not like that I was going to be charged for a coffee or a coke. The whole thing is too confusing, and I am going to pay more for an American, United or Southwest flight next time."

Cons: "The flight from Philly to Denver was was 45 minutes early so we had to sit on the Tarmac and wait for a jetway to open up. Instead of getting to Denver so quickly, the time could have been better spent trying to avoid turbulence. Both flights were incredibly bumpy to the point of nausea. It did not seem like they tried to avoid the turbulence by changing altitude or going around it as other airlines I have blown do. There is no entertainment. You have to buy anything beyond a cup of water."
Cons: "I miss the days of Midwest Express, who prided themselves on good customer service, comfortable seats,and free chocolate chip cookies at the end of the flight. All of that is gone now. I had a new plane with literal plastic bus seats. Water was $2. Its not worth it, fly a legacy carrier."

Pros: "I had no idea that the "inexpensive" flight I was buying would have so many hidden fees. My choice was to either pay for my second carry on or to check it for a fee. No other airline I fly requires passengers to pay for their second carry on. Additionally, when I checked in, I was asked to pay for my seats to ensure that I could sit next to my companion. In other words, seat price wasn't included in the ticket price either. How was I to know this when every other airlines includes it! Also, there were no complimentary snacks (peanuts, pretzels, etc.) nor drinks (sodas, etc.). Everything had a fee. I was also very unimpressed by an agent at the ticket counter who was flirting inappropriately with me. It was extremely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. In all, I was incredibly disappointed with Frontier and will never fly the airline again."

They knew it even the night before yet could not find a way to get a plane to Philadelphia any sooner than the next flight arriving at 3:15 PM. That is so rude. I will add a note that they did send an apology email and a voucher for what basically will be a free next flight ($200) but what I really needed was to get back to Denver that Tuesday morning. that equals failure."

Cons: "Check-in was atrocious as we watched the clerks migrate from one crisis to the next, and no TSA pre-check. WAITING at every stage of the flight. You would think a one-way would be simple, but no. An hour at the departure terminal, delayed in-air, then sitting on the taxiway for an hour and a half at the destination, followed by more waiting at the gate. The pilot's excuses didn't help any, clearly trying to avoid an onboard riot for a flight in which we waited longer on the ground than we flew in the air. We checked the board afterward to see if any other airlines' flights were delayed--nope, only Frontier, every one. It's clear what happens. They pay the least possible expense for airport services, and are then the lowest priority at every stage of operations, resulting in delays at every phase of flight. The most frustrating flight I've ever had that didn't include actual incompetence or bad weather."

Cons: "Kayak quoted ticket prices in search results that were not consistent and I didn't know off the top of my head that Frontier makes you pay for all luggage, even carry ons. The woman at the ticket counter did not notice my luggage and let me know that I needed to pay extra for it, so I paid twice as much at the gate ($60) after being pulled out of the boarding line. These results should be marked differently so it's not so difficult to figure out which tickets are actually less expensive. Only water on the flight (unless you want to buy a can of soda for $5), only one chance to get water, food is also only for purchase. No entertainment options. An oil slick of grease and grime over my window. Very, very unimpressed."

But when it is supposed to leave at 4:15 and You tell everyone 5:15, and then at 5:15 tell everyone it'll be here at 6:15, then at 6:15 it went to 7:15 and then again 8:15. During this entire time, I kept asking for updates and the staff at Frontier seemed angry so many people kept asking....that's your job. Because of the long wait many people didn't eat dinner, JetBlu decided to get coffee and donuts for all of their passengers (they said it over the loud speaker), Frontier didn't give us anything. When the plane landed at 8:15, the slowness of the workers couldn't have been any worse. Loading the bags slow, cleaning the plane slow. Plane gets here at 8:15 and we don't take off until 9:30. You'd think we would get some type of snack or drink for this horrible wait time right? Water is free on frontier, but nothing else. And they stuck with that. NOTHING FREE! Not even a soda or bag of chips! My friend is 6 foot 4 and I'm not sure how they get away with the nonexistent leg room. His knees were smashed against the chair in front of him the entire time. Funny for me, sucked for him (or anyone tall). He asked to change seats to 1 of the 2 open seats we had seen with more leg room (near the side emergency exit). They said no unless he wants to pay $50 right there. In the middle of the flight. I have no words for it. Customer service was horrible, food was nonexistent, drinks were nonexistent, leg room was nonexistent. And that sums up how I'll never be using frontier ever again. Pay $50 more for a better plane service seriously."

Cons: "There is a charge for a carry-on luggage fee of $45 so I paid the $40 fee to check my baggage in. Arrived 3 hours before flight. The flight was delayed for 2 hours. Get to the destination with no transfers and my luggage is the only piece that doesn't make it! The baggage claim attendant was all nonchalant and informed me every bag in their history has ALWAYS showed up in a few days. I'm traveling for a weekend business convention....so I had to repurchase clothing and items and possibly another suitcase fot the return trip. I will not be using this airline in the future."

Pros: "On Friday, July 8, at DIA airport I waited almost an hour before someone took me to my gate A42 for Flight 122 supposedly departing at 8:10 and boarding at 7:35. Finally, I had to bring this to the attention of the ticket agent as I did not want to miss my flight. Noone came and the poor overworked worker took me at 7:45 -we did not arrive at the gate until 8 o'clock (luckily the TSA checkpoints were NOT busy) and had the flight been on time, I would probably have missed it. This gentleman asked repeatedly for assistance for over 40 minutes and no one came to his aid. I panicked and I want Corporate to know they need to hire adequate help so their customers are not treated like dirt. Once I boarded, the crew was fabulous! However, I am not happy about such a horrible experience. I deserve a refund or free return ticket for my inconvenience. I have flown other airlines and have never had such a negative experience with wheelchair assistance!!!"

Whatever Tray table is metal and tiny. You couldn't even fit an iPad mini on it, let alone a lap top. So, I put my MacBook on my lap to work, but it's uncomfortable, MacBook slides off. You're hitting the person next to you with your elbows. AND I have to take off my jacket, to protect my MacBook against hitting the metal tray table, so I got cold. No internet. It's 2016. No internet. It's 2016. Never again."

Cons: "The most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. The seats were very hard and could not adjust. There was no information about the flight provided at any time during the flight except for when we were preparing to land. Compared to American Airlines (which we flew with on our way to Denver), Frontier has no comparison. There was absolutely no entertainment provided, and there were additional costs and fees at every turn. Not only do they charge for any and all refreshments, they also charge you to have a carry-on bag. The flight was also very very loud. The cabin rattled and roared for the entire hour and a half flight. We will not be flying Frontier again unless some major upgrades are made."

The seats on the plane do not lean back and there is hardly any cushion on them. It was uncomfortable and will make me rethink using Frontier airlines again."

The people really have no interest in helping you out which is only reflective of the upper management. For a low fare airline, it's actually pretty expensive and very unreliable. I will get my own pilot's license before I ever have to consider flying with these people again. Anyone can handle cheap travel as long as it's cheap. This is cheap travel that ends ups costing way more than American airlines or jetblue. And try putting a price on losing an entire day waiting for them to fix the plane."

As an early morning flight, the mechanical issues were known in advance--the plane did not arrive as scheduled the night before--yet passengers were not notified until check in at the airport. We could have made other arrangements (or slept until a normal hour) if we had been promptly notified. The gate agents were not understanding, and no accommodation--such as complimentary soft drinks--was made for our inconvenience. I felt like Spirit wasted my day."

Cons: "Where to start? The simple fact that a boarding ticket would cost 10 dollars if you happen to forget or not print one at home, has to be some kind of joke. The seats are even funnier until the end of the flight when you stand up and it's a relief. Not to mention they're just plastic wrapped in leather so the sweat marks in my khaki shorts were very apparent. Thankfully the airport bathrooms had hand dryers low enough to dry them. The little bungee cords that have taken the place of a full pocket on the seat backs that would typically hold my cell phone were subpar. Ya know because the aircraft was so sporty in flight my phone would go flying out of the impromptu "pocket". And since we're talking about the aircraft now, I saw the small sign on the outside of the plane that said "fit fleet" claiming to be the youngest aircraft out there. Jesus I mean, my return flight was delayed two hours and the captain had the nerve to say " don't really know what caused that" well with my background in aviation I know that typically doesn't mean anything good. The aircraft may have been lacking in sound proofing below because things like the landing gear deploying and retracting were sounds anyone would cringe at. So overall I've realized that the extra 40 to 60 dollars for another carrier will probably be well worth it."

She got the locations mixed up during multiple announcements which confused travelers as to which flights we boarding and when. It appeared she was not aware of the importance of her job because when making the mistakes she had little concern with getting the correct information and herself together prior to making further announcements, she was okay with continuing to make the same mistakes."

Cons: "We were unable to board out flight. We arrived at the airport 50 minutes before our flight. We tried but were unable to print our boarding passes at home. When we got there we waited behind 2 couples before getting up to the attendant. When we got to the front they told us we were too late and could not take our flight. We were 44 minutes before our flight and they close their system at 45 minutes. We called customer service and they told us the supervisor could open the flight and let us on if we showed her that we tried to print our boarding passes and could not. We had a picture and showed her but she did not care. She was not letting us on our flight for anything. I don't know if she was on a power trip or what but I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service and unwillingness to help a customer in my life. They then told us they could book us on the next flight out, which was the next day. We went to American and flew American. They were super helpful and got us on a flight out 2 hours later. Thankfully for American we only missed the first night of our conference and not a full day, like Spirit would have had us miss. I will never fly spirit again after that experience."

Airport reported that plane was broken and required a part from JFK airport and that they did not know when that part would arrive...and once it arrived they had no idea how long it would take to fix that plane. Then approaching the new 3 hour and 40 minute delayed flight time, we ended up switching gates to a different plane anyway. the plane got into Dallas around 330AM which was difficult to make arrangements for transportation upon arrival. Would not fly again."

Cons: "When I called Spirit after the flight was cancelled the operator was not helpful at all. I could not understand her on the phone. She did not present me with any alternative flights. As a result I ended up cancelling my trip. It just goes to show you that you cannot rely on discount airlines that do not have consistent service to another airport. I will not fly Spirit again unless absolutely necessary. I would rather spend more money on a flight and have alternatives when something goes wrong..."

Prior to the second trip.I told myself I was going to let bygones be bygones since the trip was affordable I thought they want to charge you for everything they even tried to charge me for my backpack that is standard $100 not given the fact that I have been flying with that same. backpack with every Airline my money and my time will not be used up and bamboozled by spirit airline...Flight number flight number NK 215 9 p.m. leaving out of Philadelphia arriving in Dallas Fort Worth at 11:46 January 21st 2016 the worst experience in my life with flying the friendly skies..."

Cons: "We drove our rental car to DFW, and didn't crash! The earliest reschedule we were offered when the 29 Dec flight was cancelled, was 3 January?? This bunch is a joke, not an airline!"
Cons: "Well, since the flight was canceled for no reason with a return option of flying home 3 days later (after New Year's Eve and New Years), I'd say my flight experience was pretty miserable. Finally managed to get on a late United flight and wound up paying an extra $300. I will never fly spirit again - too unreliable"
Cons: "I've been using Kayak since the first couple yrs the site was live. I've built up a lot of trust for Kayak over time and have recommended to a lot of friends in multiple countries. Recently, I purchased a ticket on Spirit through Kayak and had something happen that have never happened to me. I arrived at the airport and was charged an additional $112 for a carry on and 1 checked bag. I realize now that this is a Spirit policy, but not only will I never fly that shitty airline again, I will be extremely hesitant to use Kayak for my travel needs. I trust that Kayak clearly states all policies that should be a concern to its users and I have always believed in the prices that you displayed. This is obviously not the case and by working with an airline like this, it ultimately discredits a once reputable site like Kayak. All those yrs of building trust and just one trip puts it all back at zero and opens up opportunity for your competition. Bad business moves and partnerships will lead to more of this.
