Cons: "The fact that I was 3 minutes late to check my bag (due to a line and walking to the wrong counter the first time) and they would not allow me to go on my original flight and route my bag on another flight. This resulted in me and my bag getting pushed on two new flights and my overall travel time going from 4.5 hrs to 11 hrs which with a 15 month old is an eternity. Many other airlines will allow you to make exceptions when checking in late (I was still nearly 40 minutes prior to flight departure) and let me still check a bag OR allow me and my baby to stay on the same flight without the bag."

Ground crew disorganized feeding us excuses of weather (wx) which initially was a landing gear problem for first 1.5 hr delay then again WX and ATC not assigning a route(while other airlines departing no problem) then crew timed out then no plane & again waiting for crew...Seriously? What a management!!! Reading comments below this keeps repeating however this was about 13 hours delay. This company should quit!"

I was sitting in the last row next to the bathroom and I attempted to get up to take him. The stewardess was very rude and told me to have a seat. I said he is about to pee in his pants and I sat down. Well sure enough he urinated on himself. He was so upset because he thought the rude stewardess would get bad at him. He also didn't understand why he couldn't go to the bathroom. So he urinated on the floor of the aircraft. So I left with my 4 year old boy covered in urine and in tears along with my 6 year old and my 2 year old who was having a tantrum at the same time. This made my mother's day complete. I felt as if the staff on this flight was very rude. No one even said sorry or cared about what had just happened. Even a happy mother's day greeting would have been nice. To add on our flight to Philadelphia we we're delayed for 3 hours. We have three children 6 and under and ended up arriving at about 3:15am. Your airline did absolutely nothing to make us more comfortable and am overall very dissappointed in JetBlue."

They forced me to gate checked my carry on bag (no checked bag) and did not tell me I would not get it back AT the plane and had to go out through security to get it at the baggage claim and come back in through security and because of that incompetence I MISSED MY CONNECTION AND WAS STRANDED IN FLL OVERNIGHT. After the front desk continuously trying to explain to me how it was my fault some how, I HAD TO PURCHASE A SEPARATE TICKET ON A DIFFERENT AIRLINE OUT OF MIA AT 5AM TO MAKE THE WEDDING!!!! This is beyond unacceptable and as someone that travels for work and stays roughly 100 nights a year in hotels, I WILL NEVER ALLOW YOUR COMPANY TO BE ABLE TO PUT ME IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN!!!!"

Cons: "The flight from Philly to Denver was was 45 minutes early so we had to sit on the Tarmac and wait for a jetway to open up. Instead of getting to Denver so quickly, the time could have been better spent trying to avoid turbulence. Both flights were incredibly bumpy to the point of nausea. It did not seem like they tried to avoid the turbulence by changing altitude or going around it as other airlines I have blown do. There is no entertainment. You have to buy anything beyond a cup of water."

Pros: "I had no idea that the "inexpensive" flight I was buying would have so many hidden fees. My choice was to either pay for my second carry on or to check it for a fee. No other airline I fly requires passengers to pay for their second carry on. Additionally, when I checked in, I was asked to pay for my seats to ensure that I could sit next to my companion. In other words, seat price wasn't included in the ticket price either. How was I to know this when every other airlines includes it! Also, there were no complimentary snacks (peanuts, pretzels, etc.) nor drinks (sodas, etc.). Everything had a fee. I was also very unimpressed by an agent at the ticket counter who was flirting inappropriately with me. It was extremely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. In all, I was incredibly disappointed with Frontier and will never fly the airline again."

They knew it even the night before yet could not find a way to get a plane to Philadelphia any sooner than the next flight arriving at 3:15 PM. That is so rude. These results should be marked differently so it's not so difficult to figure out which tickets are actually less expensive. Only water on the flight (unless you want to buy a can of soda for $5), only one chance to get water, food is also only for purchase. No entertainment options. An oil slick of grease and grime over my window. Very, very unimpressed."

During this entire time, I kept asking for updates and the staff at Frontier seemed angry so many people kept asking....that's your job. Because of the long wait many people didn't eat dinner, JetBlu decided to get coffee and donuts for all of their passengers (they said it over the loud speaker), Frontier didn't give us anything. When the plane landed at 8:15, the slowness of the workers couldn't have been any worse. Loading the bags slow, cleaning the plane slow. Plane gets here at 8:15 and we don't take off until 9:30. You'd think we would get some type of snack or drink for this horrible wait time right? Water is free on frontier, but nothing else. And they stuck with that. NOTHING FREE! Not even a soda or bag of chips! My friend is 6 foot 4 and I'm not sure how they get away with the nonexistent leg room. His knees were smashed against the chair in front of him the entire time. Funny for me, sucked for him (or anyone tall). He asked to change seats to 1 of the 2 open seats we had seen with more leg room (near the side emergency exit). They said no unless he wants to pay $50 right there. In the middle of the flight. I have no words for it. Customer service was horrible, food was nonexistent, drinks were nonexistent, leg room was nonexistent. And that sums up how I'll never be using frontier ever again. Pay $50 more for a better plane service seriously."

You're hitting the person next to you with your elbows. AND I have to take off my jacket, to protect my MacBook against hitting the metal tray table, so I got cold. No internet. It's 2016. No internet. It's 2016. Never again."

I will get my own pilot's license before I ever have to consider flying with these people again. Anyone can handle cheap travel as long as it's cheap. This is cheap travel that ends ups costing way more than American airlines or jetblue. And try putting a price on losing an entire day waiting for them to fix the plane."

Cons: "Flights are cancelled and delay often and it is not weather related so no excuse. The prices are not real and your luggage policy is BS. When flights are cancelled the only and sometimes the first option given to us is a reimbursement and we are left to our luck. Nobody from my big family will ever travel with you."
Cons: "seats tight and uncomfortable, no free snacks or beverages, last minute gate change when we were already at original gate. I am slightly handicapped, have trouble walking and had to rush to gate. The fact that the flight was delayed is what prevented us from missing the flight."

Cons: "I had a small carry on which they forced me to pay $59 for at the airport. If you add this to the price I paid for the ticket, there is not much of a discount. The seats also did not recline which is not very comfortable. you pay for everything including the water."
Cons: "Dishonesty, told crew was there by one flight attendent. Then 40 min later told crew was arriving from atlanta. And do to wreather it is not your fault. Was asked to hurry boarding for a quick turn around. Then sat on plane for 2+ hours. Bit we where given complimentory water. Thanks for that."

Pros: "Let me start with the fact that I will never fly Spirit again, ever! My 5:58 flight was delayed at least 6 times. Each time with a different excuse for the delay. Between mechanical issues, weather (clear weather from PHL to FLL), no flight crew, and out of hours, the airline used ever excuse in the book. Once they determined we could not fly that night, our flight was pushed to the next day. They only had 2 irrate employees working who were just condescending to many of the frustrated passengers. They would not compensate the rooms for the night, nor refund people so they could take another airline. I also called spirit customer service line and the insurance contact I had through priceline. Neither provided any sort of help. Additionally, spirit had discounted hotel options, but did not distribute them to all waiting at 12am for some type of info and support. The next day, they told is our flight would leave at 10. We again werr delayed 2-3 times and didn't take off until the afternoon, causing me to be late for the wedding I was a part of. There is so much more to tell, but I need to file a full formal complaint later to Spirit, priceline, and the flight insurance company. This was hand down the worst flying experience I have every had in my life. And o fly at leave 1-2 times a month."

After 2 gate changes and a delay, we were told incorrect information by a Spirit flight attendant who told us to go to A14, when really we should have been at A2. But the flight board showed our flight number at A14. So we go to A2 and the plane door just closed - I watched the door shut - and they said we were too late. My BF (who is black) didn't say a word, but the attendant tried to say he shouted at her. I have 3 witnesses who say no announcement was made for a gate update, no final boarding call, etc. The Spirit supervisor lied and denied he was a supervisor. I had 2 different people lie to my face and I watched my plane pull away while my BF was being told that he was "screaming" at people (not true, have witnesses who are willing to testify). I have contacted my lawyers and I will be pursuing legal action. I will never book Spirit again and I have contacted my CC company to get my funds back 100%."
Pros: "You sent EIGHT DELAYED DEPARTURES all with different times as to when the flight was leaving , gave everyone one package of cookies and then sent a voucher for $50.00 with a TWO MONTH Expiration date!!!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The voucher doesn't cover the ADDITIONAL COST of the seat or even the luggage!"

Cons: "This airline is serious about "no frills." I didn't realize this until check-in: my "cheap" ticket would get me absolutely nothing in terms of accomodations that most travelers depend on, like a carry-on bag. "No frills" policy aside - the check in process was HORRIBLE. I thought I could easily check in using my cell phone -- wrong. This website has no mobile version for cell phone users. I had to get my laptop to easily navigate the very slow website. Even when navigaing on the laptop, I had trouble navigating around between pages. I couldn't return to the previous page to de-select my chosen seats. It was also difficult to choose an option that didn't include PAYING for the seats."

Cons: "The boarding pass I printed at home did not include my infant daughter that I planned to hold on my lap. Somehow I made it through security with this ticket, but then couldn't board. The woman at the desk fixed it in the system but I boarded last, which was stressful. When we landed in Ft. Lauderdale, the stroller I checked at the gate was nowhere to be found. I was told to check baggage claim. Luckily it was there, but getting there involved a long walk with my daughter and 2 bags in my arms. Very frustrating. For the return flight to Philadelphia I tried to add my daughter to the boarding pass I printed at home. No luck. Instead I had to wait in an extremely long line that went out the doors and into the heat of the sun with my daughter. I was told I had to wait in this line because I did not add my daughter to the boarding pass. I told them she was in the system but it wouldn't print on the pass. Then I was told that was because they had to see my daughter in person. ?!?!?!? Very frustrating."
Cons: "Flight was delayed but Spirit reps wouldn't address my concern about missing my connecting flight and were positive the flight was on time."

Cons: "Charging for every single thing they can possibly charge you for. The icing on that cake is that they even charge you for water in flight. Now, that is so horrible. Only taking credit cards too. There are many older people on these flights that do not even have credit cards.... so they may not have water? Cheap flight!!??? nope, add everything together and with flight attendants that don't want to be there and a captain that let us sit on the tarmac for a good 15 minutes before thinking he should tell us what's going on. That was my first and it is my last Spirit flight! And i am telling everyone that i know not to fly Spirit. Some people I have told have stories of their own and said they won't fly Spirit ever again too."
