She joyfully told me that it costs $40 to carry my luggage and after I informed her that I saw it online for less she informed me that I should have bought it online. She then stuck me all the way in the last row of the plane. I am 5'9". My husband is 6'2" and over 300 pounds. Those seats have the least leg room. It was pure torture. The flight crew in the back help my poor husband by using humor to help him."

An elderly woman became dehydrated and nearly collapsed during the flight. She was moved to the seat next to me where there was an entire empty row. I spent the last 30 minutes of my flight trying to assist her. I am a medical professional and am certain that she was dehydrated. The seats do not recline."

Cons: "I've traveled consistently between 4-6 times a year for the last 15 years and this was my first trip with Frontier. It was by far the worst travel experience of my life. One of the passengers was so drunk that she threw up all over the gate agent's podium, and this passenger was still allowed on the plane. When we boarded, we had to circumvent the vomit because it hadn't been cleaned up yet. There were multiple passengers on board who brought their own alcohol, were noticeably drunk and extremely loud. I understand that this is not your crew's fault, but there was a complete lack of understanding as to how to handle the situation. The pilot scorned passengers as a whole, and noted that if people didn't calm down, he would force a landing in North Carolina. The responsible passengers such as myself not only had to tolerate the debauchery, but also felt like we would be potentially be punished for other people's bad behavior. The flight crew seemed to have no idea how to handle this situation. I don't understand why is passenger are blatantly breaking federal regulations, the crew would not do anything about it. When I attempted to check in online, literally ever seat (including middle seats, back row) had an up-charge which is simply ridiculous. the seats were small and very uncomfortable. I will never fly Frontier again. I'd pay double for a flight with another company just to avoid them."

I had paid for a carry on, thank goodness otherwise I would have missed this flight, like many did behind me. The flight attendants were rude! I needed to purchase a drink to take some medication, and they made me wait. It was ridiculous."

Pros: "Let me start with the fact that I will never fly Spirit again, ever! My 5:58 flight was delayed at least 6 times. Each time with a different excuse for the delay. Between mechanical issues, weather (clear weather from PHL to FLL), no flight crew, and out of hours, the airline used ever excuse in the book. Once they determined we could not fly that night, our flight was pushed to the next day. They only had 2 irrate employees working who were just condescending to many of the frustrated passengers. They would not compensate the rooms for the night, nor refund people so they could take another airline. I also called spirit customer service line and the insurance contact I had through priceline. Neither provided any sort of help. Additionally, spirit had discounted hotel options, but did not distribute them to all waiting at 12am for some type of info and support. The next day, they told is our flight would leave at 10. We again werr delayed 2-3 times and didn't take off until the afternoon, causing me to be late for the wedding I was a part of. There is so much more to tell, but I need to file a full formal complaint later to Spirit, priceline, and the flight insurance company. This was hand down the worst flying experience I have every had in my life. And o fly at leave 1-2 times a month."

My BF (who is black) didn't say a word, but the attendant tried to say he shouted at her. I have 3 witnesses who say no announcement was made for a gate update, no final boarding call, etc. The Spirit supervisor lied and denied he was a supervisor. I had 2 different people lie to my face and I watched my plane pull away while my BF was being told that he was "screaming" at people (not true, have witnesses who are willing to testify). I have contacted my lawyers and I will be pursuing legal action. I will never book Spirit again and I have contacted my CC company to get my funds back 100%."

In Houston, we spent 1.5 hours on the hot airplane with no AC then they deplaned and put us back on another plane for 1 hour and then those trying to get to Philadelphia were asked to deplane again. When about 10 of us got off this flight, they told us unfortunately there were only three seats available to Atlanta and then Philadelphia. I had to beg for one of the seats because I would have been fired from my job and I had patients already scheduled to see the following day. In Atlanta, I had to spend more money to eat dinner and wait from 4pm until 8:45pm when we finally boarded the air craft because it was constantly delayed every hour. Lastly, when I got to Philadelphia at 10:30pm I spent another 30 minutes filling paper work out because they lost my luggage and the other passage that flew with me as well. Spirits never even offered a food voucher or explained to us why everything was delayed or even apologized. It was a terrible experience."

I had to calm down a verbal confrontation between two men because one guy try to rush from off from the back of the plane and bumped into another man. Crew did nothing, if I wouldn't have stopped the confrontation it may have gotten ugly."
