Pros: Seats were comfortable
Cons: Flight attendant needs a lesson in FRIENDLY customer service he was almost rude to guests
Pros: Finally got me home
Cons: Delayed, no updates,
Cons: Food and drinks at least!!
Pros: Nice, supportive crew.
Cons: The delay that made me miss my next flight...
Cons: No more plastic cups in first class - and offer packaged nuts.
Pros: The crew.was so rude, even from the check in process
Cons: Too crowded c19
Cons: The WiFi could have worked
Pros: Had an exit row seat, 17D. Lots of leg room.
Pros: Crew was fine, outlets were nice
Cons: It should be a crime to have a fully packed plane in the middle of covid. It’s also illogical to not serve food but allow people to bring food on, doesn’t make it more covid safe. I will avoid American Airlines in the future.
Cons: 2.5 hour delay no explanation
Pros: Seats were okay, even with an upgrade, still tight and I'm only 5'3". Drinks and snacks were served so plan ahead for food to Hawaii. Otherwise, I feel like there staff was great and doing their best to make everyone safe and respected.
Cons: Very little seating at Phoenix airport.
Cons: I can not rate this flight because I missed it since my connecting flight was so late due to mechanical issues.
Pros: Nice clean new airplane, pleasant crew.
Cons: Time to start offering complimentary wifi in first class
Pros: The airlines bumped us up to better seats without us asking!
Cons: Not being an hour late. Someone to manage social distancing at gates. What a mess. Flight was easy tho.
Cons: extremely racist crew made flight uncomfortable for everyone.
Cons: Book seats together for parties traveling together.
Cons: Maybe some water
Pros: The flight was on time and the plane was clean and new.
Pros: Crew was friendly and nice
Cons: Absolutely no covid regulations in place, completely packed flight, boarding was horrendous everyone going in at once
Pros: Bags are no where to be found after landing 25 minutes ago
Cons: Cool AC, it was hot! AC barely working or set too low.
Cons: Flight was rerouted to another airport due to poor weather at Philly. 3 hours later we arrived at Philly, but I missed my connecting flight.
Pros: Good overall.
Pros: Ended up with a row to myself since flight wasn't full and people were able to move to different seats to provide for social distancing.
Cons: Spacing people out until this covid is over
Cons: They could start by not allowing a non-compliant passenger ON THE PLANE. When he was already not compliant in the damn terminal. (Dude didn’t wanna wear a mask) forced the captain to circle back and screw our timing for our connecting flight. You might say, how can we blame AA, well, because they chose to allow him to become a problem and then exasperated it by allowing him in the damn door of the plane. Now we got stuck in Charlotte for the night. Nothing like being late for your Grandma’s funeral. Pathetic AA! PATHETIC!
Pros: Short, sweet and great crew.
Pros: Seat was comfortable. Crew was professional.
Cons: Loading plane was a little chaotic and the comfortable seat was a little overpriced for the legroom.
Cons: Not as crowded as the LAX to PHX
Pros: The plane was clean
Cons: More spacing with the whole Covid-19 thing going on
Pros: Nice to fly again!
Cons: Have at least water offered
Cons: Really rude check in with bags and flight attendants are rude too. Haven’t flown American Airlines in years and will try to avoid them again
Pros: Seats were great! No snackage... #covid19
Cons: Nothing--everything was great--perhaps the best service I've ever received.
Cons: No wifi or entertainment was available. Food was mediocre.
Pros: crew made me feel guilty to change my paid for seat so a married couple could sit together and I was solo
Cons: choice of snacks or food
Pros: Travel time was great
Pros: The plane had really soft, puffy, comfy headrests. These were the best headrests I've ever encountered on any flight. I wish these were on every plane.
Cons: 1. Departure gate gets inexplicably moved to an entirely different concourse. 2. Gate agent offers to check bags through to destination, then when I go up, offers to gate-tag my bag. Why did you say you could check the bags through, then? 3. The long, ridiculous AA boarding process consisting of 9 groups and 2 short lanes, taking about 20 minutes to get 30 people outside. 4. 30 people wander around outside on the tarmac, trying to find a sign for Albuquerque. 5. BAGGAGE HANDLERS tell some of the passengers that the planes have been switched, and we should now board the plane marked Flagstaff. 6. Gate agents come outside, receive information from -- again -- BAGGAGE HANDLERS -- and then tell everyone to go back inside. 7. Once inside, gate agents tell passengers they have no idea what is going on, where they will be departing from, or when. 8. Gate agents tell passengers to go through the (long, ridiculous) boarding process a second time, and get on the second plane on the left. 9. A couple of PASSENGERS remind the gate agent that the baggage handlers specifically said that plane was not going to Albuquerque. 10. Gate agents change their minds, and tell passengers to get on a different plane. 11. We finally get on the damn plane.
Pros: The counter attendant was helpful in changing our seats so could sit together.
Cons: The flight attendant when first boarding was extremely rude. We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued.
Cons: Watched a very weird interaction between Muslim (with a hajib) women with a kiddo and desk crew. She wanted to sit next to her child on the flight and needed to switch seats to be able to. Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!
Pros: The trip was on time and with no issues flying. I really enjoyed the ability to watch a movie...this was AWESOME!
Cons: Wow, the seating was VERY tight and I was happy for the TV screen in front of me to keep me busy. All the inflight interruptions on the movie I was watching.
Pros: This flight was amazing! The crew was friendly and helped me when I had a panic attack from flying. It was very appreciated
Pros: Crew was great!
Cons: Ohare baggage claim. I was first class and my bag came out last
Cons: On time yes. Every seat sold. Overhead baggage full had to check luggage. Dinner time flight no food. No beer.
Pros: Entertainment movies
Cons: Never will I fly on them Again! No protective measures in regard to Covid! Terrible!
Pros: Inflight movies
Cons: Everything! Jam packed flight. and no Covid measures taken. Aweful!!! I will Never fly on them Again! Shame on the Airline!
Pros: The was helpful and friendly and was able to take care of problems.
Cons: Notifying me when a flight was being canceled before getting to the airport not where. You are supposed to be boarding the plane.
Pros: Flight smooth. Not too crowded.
Cons: Flight delayed.
Cons: Flight delayed. Did not have service till an hour + into the flight as someone was sick and all staff was attending to that situation. Luggage was 30+ minutes delayed. Ugh, I had my pick up constantly having to circle the pu area!
Pros: Nice crew
Cons: Seats. At 6”5’ tight
Cons: Crew being less mean
Cons: Their baggage system is a joke. They demanded I remove my smaller carry- on so someone with a huge carry-on could use the overhead space. They ask boarders to please check Carr-on luggage for free on full flights but they don’t. United just needs to count the bags and demand the overage be checked.
Pros: the front desk at united was awful. The flight crew were very efficient. Terminal 2 is great at Sky Harbor.
Cons: nicely done, kayak!!
Pros: Airport close to my house and It is United hub
Cons: Many things. Seat does not reclining which is hard for a 5 hrs flight
Cons: Plane was clean. Leg room was adequate for a 6 footer. Wafer cookie was good. Crew was nice.
Cons: United has a 2 hour delay for mechanical issue. We almost missed our connection to Zurich. Our bags did not make it and we are still waiting for our luggage
Cons: 15 hours late! Terrible communication about the flight, conflicting messages, and no concern for the customers. What more CanIsay!
Cons: I couldn't make my trip because of work. Therefore had to cancel but Lufthansa would not provide refund so I had a wasted ticket. Not happy
Pros: Good crew!! Entertainment screen not as good as SAS
Pros: Seats are not comfortable and it is hard to sleep on this flight
Cons: Seats, crew.
Cons: Flight was canceled. Rescheduled on next morning on economy class even though the original tickets booked for business class. No hotel, food voucher, etc. were provided blamed on the weather condition even though the bad weather was 1-2 days ago, and on the day of departure it was air traffic control problems which was stated in cancellation email.
Pros: Overall my experience was about the smoothest I've had in years. Unlike those smaller/cheaper airlines. I'll never fly them again. United has brought back the pleasure of flying coast to coast.
Cons: What I didn't like, well it now seems to be the norm, but why on earth don't the airlines provide meals to everyone onboard. It would be nice to receive a box lunch or snack, more than just a minunt size bag of trail mix. We do pay a lot of money for these flights. It's. it like the planes are leaving the gates half full anymore, so I know they're making money. Feed us more than a snack please. Ok that's my load off my chest.
Cons: Nice quiet flight home.
Pros: Ease and Comfort. Each terminal in our two-leg journey was modern, immaculate and simple to navigate. The flight and crew were outstanding; attentive and professional. Keep up the good work!
Cons: We just couldn't justify paying 16.00 so each of us could watch TV for two hours. We would have appreciated basic TV, in order for us to stay on top of the National/World news. We feel it is part of our best interest, as a country and world, to keep informed. Please allow for at least BBC to be viewed. For Free. Thank You.
Pros: Flight crew was helpful, good communication ahead of turbulence so people could use the restroom, etc.
Cons: I reserved an aisle seat at booking, but had a message to see gate attendent for seat assignment when i checked in. My seat was changed to middle position and there was no recourse. There are way too many people assigned group 3 and 4 , the line at pheonix and most other airports blocked the throughway for other people.
Pros: Seats have some good cush to them
Cons: I specifically bought carry on luggage that meets the standards so that I would not have to go baggage claim as it would weigh heavily on my schedule. As I stood in line and noticed all of the huge "carry on" bags more than 2 I was astounded when the flight attendant said my carry on would have to be loaded with the other luggage. When I offered my rebuke she scolded me and said the luggage would be there before me....how the hell is that supposed to happen? To make matter worse the flight "attendants" stopped serving half way and when they started again I got trapped by the bathroom and did not get back to my seat in time to enjoy a beverage....not that I was offered one.
Cons: There were several flights departing from Dallas Fort Worth and they couldn't get me on one based on weather supposedly but there's zero rain on the ground they made me pay for a hotel hundred bucks to stay in a Holiday Inn Express end it's not very quaint mind you I don't get to leave and get to my destination until 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon
Pros: I appreciated that the pilot was very upfront and honest with us about the delayed flights going into San Francisco.
Cons: My flight got delayed so much that I ended up cancelling my trip.
Pros: I'm glad I didn't get kicked off!
Cons: I did not like the boarding process and I had a fear of being kicked off.
Pros: The desk people were nice in Phoenix, AZ
Cons: Our flight was delayed 6 hours so United rebooked the whole flight, however they made no attempt to inform us before we arrived at the airport. We found out when we arrived to our gate to board. So because we did not know about the delay until the time of boarding, we missed all other flights out because it was 8pm and no more flights could take us to our final destination. We did receive a hotel voucher but we had to pay for a taxi back to the airport as well as we had to pay extra for our car that had been sitting in the airport garage overnight. It should have been $2.50, but because it sat in the garage overnight we had to pay $20.
Cons: I decided to take another carrier in the aftermath of United's terrible treatment of paid passengers/customers. United doesn't deserve my business (ever again).
Pros: I loved the ground crew. Flights were delayed, but they kept us informed an expedited turn around. Also I had to change flights to get home and their phone-support was perfect. Hey, they even had a cookie on the last flight that was quite good - go figure!
Cons: We're all aware of the national "glitch" the delayed flights a couple of hours. While our plane was available for an on-time departure (UA1976) @11:35, the crew was inbound on one of the delayed flights (UA1611). United could have known as early as 7:30pm that 1611 wasn't going to make it on time to turn around the crew and would hold up 1976 as a result. Instead United didn't update passengers of 1976 until 11:55 (20 minutes after it was obvious that it was delayed and 4.5 hours after they could have known). Maybe I'm missing something, would love for someone at United to explain it.
Cons: I don't think I will be choosing to fly with United going forward. The staff at the desks were rude and very short. I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer.
Pros: The actual flight itself was fine.
Cons: The flight was delayed. I was told it was due to "weather issues", and that i'd more than likely miss my flight, and that there was nothing they could do about it. I ask the guy to print me some sort of itinerary to show my work, and it shows "mechanicall issues", not weather. Confirmed this with their website. I was told I'd probably be arriving in Seattle around 1-1:30AM. By pure chance, my flight from San Fran to Seattle was ALSO delayed (due to a late incoming flight), so I was able to board my original connecting flight. However, this still put me in a bad situation. I use public transportation, which wont be running by the time I arrive. LooKS like I'll be forking out $50+ for an Uber or Lyft home. Thanks, United. I only ever get delays when I fly United.
Pros: Economy Plus was good. Economy not so. Good variety of movies. However, it is cheaper to go to the movies during the day. Pretty impressed with the timing, especially considering it was the holidays and we flew through Chicago. The captains' were also entertaining.
Cons: Some of the flight crew looked a bit ragged. One stunk like a brewery and was sweating bullets the entire time.
Cons: My first leg of flight was delayed two hours and my connecting flight was cancelled. Waiting in line for 3 hours with almost 100 people with NO intervention. This is a joke!
Pros: Process went smoothly. Mainly everything that was expected was provided.
Cons: I was disappointed the entertainment option on the United app was not available for this flight. Also, trash was not collected until the end of the flight which was irritating to keep I. My pocession for the entirety of he flight.
Pros: Crowded flight efficient crew and staff pleasant and cooperative passengers.
Cons: The days of an empty seat are gone the new normal is crowded flights.
Cons: I spent 8 hours in the Denver airport without any compensation from the airline. At least buy me lunch.
Pros: Everything was easy and smooth I love it and they are very nice people
Cons: i was a bit stressed given I had a connection and my flight out of Phoenix was about 45 mins delayed. I made the next flight by 15 mins
Pros: Flight times were accurate.
Cons: As soon as we arrived to the airport, checking in was the biggest hassle. We were harassed by a guy working the ticket counter named Guilermo. He was EXTREMELY rude and continued to harass us and followed us after we checked in and we're already at the security check point. It's $25 to check a bag but if you check 2 bags their website says its $35 for both. We were charged $50 to check two bags. Even after Guilermo told both of us that they wouldn't charge us for the second bag to be checked. The guy that checked our bags was also extremely rude and clearly didn't care. Once we started boarding the flight several passengers had to check their bags at the gate because there "wasn't enough room on the plane". Not really sure how this was fair since we had just paid $50 to check two bags and were lied to about it when several people just checked their bags for free. We chose to fly with United because of the good deals they have on flights but after our experience I would MUCH rather pay more money and have a lot better customer service. We had such a horrible experience it almost ruined our first day of our week long trip. I'm. It really sure if it's obvious to the employees of United but traveling for most people is a very special occasion. This occasion happen to be a very special one to us as it was a family vacation and seeing family we haven't seen in years. The poor attitudes and rude demeanor from the United staff is all we could think about even after we reached our destination.
Pros: The friendly and comfortable atmosphere!
Cons: PHX is a large airport, and my emailed ticket said Brussles Airlines, Terminal 4. First off, Brussles Airlines is not a carrier at PHX, and secondly no one knew that United was their partner. There was no information provided to me to go to United, which was in Terminal 2. After making a phone call to Brussles Airlines, I ended up getting to the check in gate ten minutes after boarding started. It was a lovely rest of the trip after that though! But please include partner information im the email next time!
Pros: The Steward was amazing! He was such a sweet man, I really hope to see him on a flight again in the future. He was so silly and personable to everyone, and did fast service as well. Def a 10.0 and made the flight much more enjoyable. Lots of space on this plane because it's so small. It seems counterintuitive but that means there are less people stop it seems less crowded and more spacious.
Cons: Super annoying toung boy who kicked my seat and slammed the tray table al ost the entire flight...obviously not United's fault.
Pros: I got a super cheap fare for this short flight from PHX to LAX. Staff was courteous and the flight went smoothly from start to finish.
Cons: Was unable to figure out the free entertainment offered. Was a short flight so I didn't really worry about it.
Pros: The only positive was that the seat next to me was empty so I had a little more room.
Cons: Flight attendants were unpleasant and plane was very dirty. My seat also felt sticky.
Pros: Never again with United small seat dirty bathroom only 2 restroom for 300 ppl
Pros: The price Phoenix to LA and back for around $77
Cons: I got the shitty set by the exit door that didn't recline no big deal on such a short trip
